Service: Agreements made beforehand over the phone suddenly no longer apply on arrival. A €50 extra charge or you can leave the hotel. If you try to discuss this, you're portrayed as a liar and lied to yourself - 0 out of 5 stars. Overall, I agree with the reviews here: definitely not worth the price and the 4-star rating. There isn't even a bottle of water in the room for a double room booked for more than €200 a night. Simply embarrassing.

I have the feeling the kitchen gets overwhelmed very quickly with larger groups. We waited almost two hours for our food (11 people). Very friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere.

Unfortunately not! Unkept, cheap motel at a 4-star price! Outdated furnishings! Moldy shower! Bathroom window wouldn't open! Breakfast is offered online...unfortunately, it's not available on-site! You're recommended to go to the bakery!

We went to the murder mystery dinner on November 9th, 2025... for quite a bit of money. I'll leave the mystery itself out of it. But the food was awful. They served roast beef with onions... The appetizer was okay, but the meat for the main course was terrible—so tough. You could barely get a fork into it, and cutting it with a knife was a real struggle. And then, the kicker: when it came time to pay, they simply asked how I wanted to pay the tip. Absolutely unacceptable! Never again will we go to Störtebeker in Greifswald.

Small restaurant in the Mercure Hotel. Food is served as a buffet and a la carte. This offer is very welcome, especially if you don't have the energy to go into town after a long day. The food is appropriate for the price. The waitresses were very friendly. There were two problems with the service: We weren't handed a drinks menu, even though one existed (as I discovered after the visit). I was offered ketchup and mayonnaise with my Wiener Schnitzel, but they weren't served at first. When I asked, they gave me two bags a la McSchnellrestaurant (the bag with the mayonnaise could not be opened).
