Gaststätte Beim Durber in Weiden i.d.OPf.

We had a get-together with eight people at Durber's. The food and drinks were served quickly. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and there was something for everyone on the daily specials menu. When the restaurant is full, it gets quite noisy, but still tolerable. The view into the riding arena is lovely, and you can always see riders with their horses. Quite entertaining. We'd gladly come again. Best regards

Durber's restaurant is a real hidden gem! The food was outstanding – the meat incredibly tender and juicy, the sauce perfectly seasoned and wonderfully aromatic. The side dishes, especially the dumplings, were also excellent and delicious. Everything was fresh, homemade, and prepared with love. A place where you can tell that quality and flavor are paramount. Highly recommended – I'll definitely be back!

I wasn't expecting much vegetarian choice, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had a Greek salad, which was absolutely delicious.

Great food, superb service – absolutely thrilled! I recently ate here and I'm absolutely thrilled! The Hawaiian schnitzel was absolutely amazing – the combination of juicy meat and fresh pineapple is simply amazing and stands out from the usual standard dishes. Finally, someone with the courage to be creative! The schnitzel was wonderfully tender and evenly cooked, perfectly cooked. You can tell that they use modern kitchen technology to maintain a consistently high standard – respect! The service was also very friendly and attentive; they took care of everything immediately and even asked if everything was OK. The wait was absolutely reasonable, and you can tell: The food is still freshly cooked here! The ambiance is pleasantly down-to-earth – honest, cozy, and simply makes you feel good. And the free parking right outside the door is, of course, the icing on the cake. I'll definitely be back – anyone who complains here probably just has no taste for innovation! 🍽️✨ Value for money: top-notch!

I was at your restaurant today, August 8, 2025, for a company party. I ordered a Wiener Schnitzel. I have to say, I haven't had such a good schnitzel in a long time. Highly recommended. 👍👍👍

Good if you like schnitzel and pork. The Sunday menu is extremely minimalistic; the only vegetarian option (creamed mushrooms with bread dumplings) tasted rather uninspiring, very flat, and had a wobbly consistency. The side salad, which I saved for last as a bright spot, was also a disappointment. It was so smothered in dressing that it was sour as hell, and all the salad ingredients tasted like dressing and no longer like cucumber or carrot. That really made me sad, but maybe I was just unlucky? I wouldn't go back again, though...

I was unfortunately disappointed when we ate there for Sunday lunch. There was no vegetarian option. When I asked about it, the staff reacted annoyed and didn't offer any alternatives. My suggestion to order just the side dish with sauce and salad was rejected on the grounds that it wouldn't work with the cash register. In the end, it was possible, and I received my side dish with sauce and salad. I was then charged the full price, plus the salad was charged separately. I didn't really feel welcome as a guest.

Unfortunately, I have to change my review. You've dropped a lot of points. I just wanted a quick Wiener Schnitzel! I got a Hawaiian Schnitzel. Putting pineapple on a schnitzel and offering something like that is something to be ashamed of. On top of that, the schnitzel was still in the microwave and stretched like a leather rag. They offered to make me a new one, but I'd already waited 45 minutes for this pineapple schnitzel; I couldn't wait any longer! Never again. Avoid this place, at least in the evening. The roast lunch was okay!

Food was very tasty - small portion of roast pork and cream roast beef, definitely not too small - gladly again!

I had the pleasure of dining at the Beim Durber restaurant, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely outstanding. I was particularly impressed by the liver dumpling, which was perfectly seasoned and wonderfully tender. The mixed roast that followed was equally delicious—succulent, aromatic, and of the highest quality. It was a true treat! The ambiance in the restaurant was equally impressive: cozy, inviting, and very well-kept. You immediately feel at home there. Another major plus was the service. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always there with a smile. In summary, I can wholeheartedly recommend Beim Durber. Excellent food, great ambiance, and first-class service—I'll definitely be back!

Good home cooking - and some extras - from a friendly team at reasonable prices. Lunch on Sundays and public holidays by reservation at 11:30 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. Also highly recommended for family celebrations and private parties on all kinds of occasions. Since I have family relationships with the innkeepers, that has to be enough praise... ;-) No, fun - always good!

A cozy little beer garden and a rustic restaurant invite you to linger. The service is very friendly and accommodating, but not intrusive. No matter whether it's a slaughter bowl, fish or a snack, it tastes great and is suitable for every budget. We'll definitely be back 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Nettes Gasthaus, schmackhaftes Essen.

The schnitzels we ordered were absolutely freshly prepared, there was also a mixed salad, honest and very tasty home cooking with a twist - very tasty! If I'm nearby, I'll be a guest there again!

Sehr schöner Biergarten. Wir kamen zufällig auf dem Heimweg vorbei. Das Lokal mit überdachter Terrasse und Biergarten liegt sehr schön. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, gutes Essen und auch ein sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Wenn wir wieder in der Nähe von Weiden sind, kommen wir sicher nochmal vorbei.

Direkt an der Autobahn gelegen, perfekt um auf der Heimfahrt zu Stärkung anzuhalten. Jedoch keines Wegs laut, sondern ruhig. Ein herrlicher Biergarten lädt zum verweilen ein. Eine kleine, ansprechende Karte. Mal wieder der perfekte Beweis, dass kein ein Buch als Speisekarte vorliegen muss! Die Preise von einem anderen Stern. Man denkt, man ist in der Zeit zurück gereist. Schäufele für sage und schreibe 12,50€(teuerstes Gericht), der halbe Liter Bier/Getränk für 3,40€. Phänomenal!!! Und dann war das Essen auch noch ausgezeichnet. Dazu so eine freundliche Bedienung, man fühlte sich von Anfang an wie zu Hause. Wirklich klasse. Definitv nicht der letzte Besuch, ich bin froh über diesen Glücksfund, den ich bereits weiterempfohlen habe!

Schweinebraten und Sauerbraten haben leider ranzig geschmeckt nicht zu essen. Würde für das Essen am liebsten null Sterne geben aber geht leider nicht

La comida es muy deliciosa, y su guarnición de ensalada nos encanto., el Restaurant estaba lleno y creíamos que comeríamos tarde pero nos sorprendió lo rápido que llegan a atender y darnos la bebida y comida. Ese restaurante tiene la mejor vista ! Para los amantes de los caballos.

Traumhaft! Idyllisch, abseits von der Stadt mit großem Reiterhof am Lokal. Wunderschöner. gem+tlicher Biergarten der zum verweilen einlädt. Klasse Brotzeiten und erst recht wahnsinnig guter Mittagstisch! Der beste Rinderrahmbraten den ich gegessen habe!

Dieses Lokal ist einfach spitze! Tolle Lage, super Biergarten, die besten Schnitzel in der Umgebung und am Sonntag den besten Rinderrahmbraten, Rinderroulade, Ente etc. Außerdem ist der Service der Knaller und immer auf Zack! Macht weiter so! Gruß T&A
