I was pleasantly surprised during my visit: drinks are self-service, but the food is brought directly to your table. The dishes were consistently delicious and the portions generous. I especially enjoyed sitting in the shade – a real plus on hot days. The house specialty, the pizza on pretzel dough, was a hit! The spicy currywurst and the pretzel salad also won me over. An added bonus for families: there's a great playground right in front of the restaurant, which the kids loved. Definitely worth a visit!

A restaurant serving Bavarian food. The food is truly delicious, with generous portions and reasonable prices. They have a wide selection of dishes for both adults and children. Very friendly service and plenty of space both inside and outside. I highly recommend this place for dinner and beyond.

No complaints about the quality or taste of the food but the portions have generally dwindled over the past few years though prices increased. To avoid this value disparity, we only stop in for the beer once in a while, which is amazing.

I was simply appalled by the service at this restaurant. For what's supposedly an upscale establishment, we weren't greeted, stood around by the door for up to 10 minutes, and the restaurant was practically empty, with only three tables occupied. We ended up finding a table ourselves. Twenty minutes later, a waitress came by to ask if we had a reservation. Ugh. The food was okay, nothing special for the price, but the portions were large. You can find better Italian restaurants in Weiden, not only in terms of service but also ambiance. There was no background music, so you couldn't hear all the conversations from the sparsely occupied tables. Uncomfortable, poor service, we won't be back.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in town. The staff is always very friendly and creates a really pleasant, positive atmosphere. I've ordered grilled dishes several times – everything has been delicious every time. If you don't want rice as a side dish, they offer very tasty potatoes instead. I'll definitely be back!
