Essen war durchschnittlich, Geschmack 08/15, nicht frisch gemacht, zu teuer !! Die Kellner waren sehr unfreundlich und nur daran interessiert ihre privaten Geschäfte mit gefragten Artikeln aus dem Nachbarland mit einigen Gästen abzuwickeln. Insgesamt gesehen würde ich diese Lokalität nicht weiterempfehlen.

Bei allen bisherigen Besuchern war das Essen sehr gut, die Portionen mehr als ausreichend. Der Service war freundlich, zügig und zuvorkommend. Nachfragen ob alles in Ordnung ist und das Essen schmeckt gab es immer. Das Ambiente entspricht einer Brauereigaststätte, im Kellergewölbe ist es naturgemäß etwas lauter.

Nettes Restaurant in weiden . Service ist freundlich. Ich war nun schon 2 mal dort und wurde nicht enttäuscht. :) Das Essen schmeckt lecker und kommt auch heiß an den Tisch . Kartenzahlung ist möglich .

I really love the layout of this restaurant. It just feels like it has a lot of history. My food was okay. The gravy had a lot of flavor which was great. The only thing I would change is the service. I know we are Americans in Germany but I have been here three times and all three times the initial woman that sees us is rude. Other than that I enjoyed the environment, the wine, and good conversation with the people I was with.

Zwei Mal bisher hier gewesen und jedes Mal überzeugt worden! Top Service, hervorragendes Essen, tolle Getränke und super Preise! Immer wieder gerne!

Die Einrichtung ist, so wie für ein Brauhaus "normal" urig und auf alt getrimmt. Viel Holz und gerade im Eingangsbereich viel Metall-Holz Möbel. Das Personal ist super freundlich und flott. Die Speisen sind gut und Preis-Leistung ist in Ordnung.

Delicious hot food and excellent service. Really enjoyed the beer as well (they have to go 6 packs and mini kegs as well). Recommend making reservations if you're planning on dinner here. Plenty of room but fills up fast in the evenings.

Recht voll gewesen und trotzdem einen Platz bekommen im 1.STOCK hinten in einer ruhigen Ecke. Bedienung freundlich trotz das man Ihr den Stress angemerkt hat. Die Kräuterspirelli waren gut . Das Schäufele war etwas lang im Ofen und etwas viel Kümmel drauf ,dafür die Kruste jedoch wunderbar. Das dunkle Radler fanden wir alle sehr gut. Alles in allem kann man sagen das man hier noch einmal einkehren kann.

Sehr schöne Brauereigaststätte in der Altstadt von Weiden. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und Leckeres auf dem Tisch.

Ich hatte ein Schnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat. Das Schnitzel war wirklich lecker und die Portion an sich war auch ordentlich. Nur der Kartoffelsalat hatte wirklich nichts mit einem Kartoffelsalat zu tun - wirklich nicht gut. Der Service war anfangs gut hat aber dann zum Schluss stark nachgelassen. Man musste über 1 Stunde auf die nächste Bedienung warten die bei uns vorbei geschaut hat. Ich hatte mir mehr erwartet.

Mega ambiente einfach nur zu empfehlen.

Das eher traditionale Essen ist ganz OK. Es wird dort auch Bier gebraut und als "Zoigl" angeboten (nicht verwechseln mit dem Komunbrau Zoigl) welches mir nicht schmeckte. Toiletten sind im Keller aber wir waren im zweiten Stock, ganz schöne Treppensteigerei.

Gute Braugaststätte mit selbstgebrautem Bier. Preise in Ordnung. Oberpfälzer Spezialitäten auf der Karte.

Firmenfeier, 25 Leute, Service überfordert, Suppe kalt, Hauptspeise Gulasch war gut, die Nachspeise Rumtopf mit Eis nicht zu genießen, Rum pur und dadurch zu heftig. Die Rechnung hatte paar Hauptspeisen zu viel drauf, wurde dann korrigiert. Großes Lokal, mit super schönen Ambiente.

Bin jetzt wirklich zu oft enttäuscht worden, was das Essen betrifft. Kartoffeln waren nicht durch, Fleisch zu trocken, Essen lauwarm, schon alles erlebt. Das war’s jetzt. Nur wenn man Glück hat, schmeckt es gut und die Preise sind angenehm.

War am 14.11.23 hatte von der Mittagskarte Holzfällersteak, kamen 2 kl Fertigschnitzel mit Zwiebeln und Käse überbacken, lagen schon länger und dementsprechend nicht gut. Unter Holzfällersteak stelle ich mir allgemein was anderes vor. Kellner die "Freundlichkeit" in Person

It’s a chill place. It’s a bit intimidating when you come in because it’s multiple floors. I just walked in an thank the owner for having the sign 🪧 in English. PLEASE WAIT TO BE SEATED. I did and the house was full. So he told me to check the bottom. I never had anyone tell me to go and check a floor. Which I thought was really cool. So I walked down stairs to basement, brew house style place full of barrels and other brew equipment. It was cool and the food smell was enchanting. I went down stair as if I was a zombie 🧟‍♂️ ready to feast on fresh brains. It was awesome and I used google translator to translate the menu and I ordered. The soup as and appetizer and sliced beef with noodles. 😊🍷🇩🇪

Ich komme aus Basel immer wieder gerne zu Ihnen. Symphatische Service, gutes Essen, warmes Ambiente und für mich das tollste Bier der Region.

Die Online-Speisekarte wird wochenlang nicht gepflegt, man muss vor Ort nachfragen was es gibt... falsche Bepreisung des Mittagstisches (6,90 vs 7,50€) Burger medium bestellt, Fleisch hatte unangenehmen Beigeruch. Teilweise 15minütiger GAAalarm mit dauerhaftem Piepton was ein verweilen in den Räumlichkeiten äußert unangenehm gestelltet

Food was ok, but the male staff was extremely rude, arrogant and disrespectful. Unfortunately this place has changed to the worst and we make other choices in the future.

The location at the old square was really nice, but the staff made it very clear that we're not welcome there. It's just sad that this treatment was based on us being foreigners.We don't find these ways very professional, but it is what it is✌🏽

Leider gab das Abendessen nicht das her, was die Optik versprach. Ich hatte Schäuferl in Biersoße mit Sauerkraut und Kartoffelknödel = die Soße war dunkel, jedoch farblos ;-) und das Sauerkraut etwas zu verkocht; meine Frau hatte Schweinelendchen die zu salzig waren. Auch die anderen Gäste werteten mit einem: "es geht".

Birreria collocata nel cuore del centro storico di Weiden. Arredamento classico e costumi tradizionali per il personale di sala. Menù solo in lingua tedesca. Piatti tipici ottimi sia per qualità delle materie prime che per la presentazione. Birre artigianali molto buone. Dolci discreti. Rapporto qualità prezzo molto buono. Unica pecca il piatto ordinato da uno di noi è arrivato molto in ritardo rispetto agli altri della tavola (eravamo in 10). Prenotazione consigliata.

Food was not good. Schnitzel burnt on one side and Schäufele was very tough. Salad was okay. The waitress was friendly but didn't ask if we wanted another drink or how the food was.

Es hat eine Ewigkeit gedauert, bis der etwas unkonzentriert und orientierungslos wirkende Kellner den klebrigen Tisch abgewischt und sich nach unseren Wünschen erkundigt hat. Die dann gereichten Speisen haben geschmeckt, waren jedoch nur von durchschnittlicher Qualität.

Wieder hier beim Wirt und auch heute war es sehr gut. Schäufele und Schweinebraten war unsere Wahl und es gab wenig zu beanstanden. Der Schweinebraten sehr gut gemacht, leckere Biersoße, das Schäufele geschmacklich gut, aber etwas zu fest im Biss. Trotzdem war es sehr gut und einzig die Portionsgröße ist für normale Esser überschaubar geworden. Preis OK und Service TOP!

Отличное фирменное пиво, широкий выбор блюд баварской и (в целом) немецкой кухни, приемлемые цены, быстрое, компетентное и вежливое обслуживание. К тому же очень приятная атмосфера, "под старину", но не кич, хотя заведение существует с начала 90-ых гг. Рекомендуем.

Die Bedienung durch eine weibliche Servicekraft viel etwas flapsig aus. Stühle wurden mit dem Fuß in Position gekickt, ein beanstandetes Glas (schmutzig und angeschlagen) wurde zwar ausgetauscht, aber ohne eines Blicks im vorbeigehen auf den Tisch geknallt. Der Zwiebelrostbraten hatte sich 5 Punkte verdient, das Schäufele 3, da das Biersaftl nix vom Bier hatte, aber dafür mehr vom Saucenbinder. Wären im Schnitt somit 4 Punkte - dank Servicekraft aber dann doch nur 3 zumal auch der eventuell durstige 4-Beiner konsequent ignoriert wurde.

Nachdem in der Vergangenheit die Qualität sehr nachgelassen hat, habe ich es letzten Sonntag nochmals versucht. Entäuschung total. Ich fragte mich was an einem Schnitzel mit Pommes und Salat falsch machen kann. Schnitzel total hart und zäh, Pommes wahrscheinlich 5 Mal vorfrittiert und dann serviert. Salat, totaler Fehlgriff mit dem Dressing. Biedienungen absolut überfordert. Das war´s. Nie mehr wieder. Aber wenn man ja viele Durchgangsgäste hat, braucht man ja keine Stammgäste halten.

Location che pur affacciandosi sul corso principale riesce ad assicurare tranquillità e riservatezza ai tavoli. Si inizia con birre weiss e un'ottima salsiccia (rigorosamente con crauti) e si giunge a un buonissimo gulash nella versione tedesca. Conclusione con gelato e colata calda di frutti rossi. Servizio sorridente e puntuale, prezzi nella media. Consigliato.

Hier beim Bräuwirt sind wir immer gut aufgehoben. Gemütlich und urig ist es hier und wir hatten einen schmackhaften Schweinebraten und ein kuspriges Schäuferle. Feine Biersauce und leckere Knödel. Auch die Radler waren sehr gut. Service sehr nett, Preis super, alles bestens und sicher bald wieder

Schweinebraten super, die Knödel waren ok, eine super Soße. Die Bedienung ist sehr zuvorkommend und auf Zack. Und Zoigel - toll!

This is just an average german restaurant to be honest there is nothing special to it other than it being cheap. The waiters were so so and the food was just average would not recommend.

We ate outside with the locals with a lovely view of the square. The staff were friendly and most welcoming throughout. The local Weiden dishes and in-house Weiden beers were so tasty and made us so grateful our hotel restaurant was closed or we’d have missed this wonderful experience. We had a lightening sky show which led to a downpour but we were encouraged indoors to stay dry.... plus we had a extra reason to order some more beers!

‘The hidden gem of Bavaria’ Brewery area in the basement is a must see, brau wirt was started in 1993 from what we gathered off the information booklet provided on the second to top floor of the restaurant. the zoigl beer is fantastic. Staff is very accommodating! Zoiglbiergulash and pork shoulder are our favorite menu choices! Save room for chocolate mousse and lemon gelato with raspberry drizzle, you won’t be disappointed.

I had heard this was the best Bavarian food in town, it definitely was not. The setting is fantastic, charming inside and out. The beer was also very tasty, but the food was not the quality it should be. I have had much better at little guesthouses across Bavaria. The meat was very dry (overcooked), the bread a bit stale, and the spatzele (Bavarian pasta dish) was dry. Everything needs to be cooked less and more sauce. So disappointing...

Took my wife for her birthday. Limited menu however, the food delivered. Great soups and amazing steamed Pork. Cordon bleu with German potato salad was delicious. Don’t leave without trying their beers. Good place for either couples or families. Waitress was very accommodating and had the menu in English.

If you want to taste real bavarian beer and food, you should give them a try and visit the "Bräuwirt" in Weiden. The self brewed beer is a real highlight. In 2018 we are celebrating "100 Years Bavaria" and the master brewer created a special beer for that event. - Really tasty! If you are hungry you should taste the "Zwiebelrostbraten", one of the most delicious dishes on the menu

OK … so I goofed up and ordered something that I didn't expect -- thinking my translation meant "fish soup" and what I got was more like a form of very fishy ceviche with cream and onions. Dee. Lish. Us. My mistranslated appetizer turned out to be a Bavarian dish I'd never heard of, but will definitely order again. But if all you want is a plateful of Nurnberg rostbratwurst and rotkohl, or schnitzel, or medallions of pork in a mushroom sauce … along with fresh draft pils and dunkel beers -- Brauwirt is your place.

I love this restaurant. We have taken all of our family from the states to eat here. The food is traditional German and seasonal. The beer they make is amazing. We love the different areas to eat at during the seasons. It's fun to eat in the cellar during colder months. Gives a warm good vibe. Service is great too.
