The restaurant has very friendly service, very good pizza with a large selection and schnitzel. We also liked that you can choose the side dishes to go with the schnitzel. And there is Watzdorfer beer. In summer it's nice to sit outside under the trees. And the restaurant is also open Monday and Tuesday. Rest day is Wednesday. Prices are very cheap.

The atmosphere is very rustic and the food was simply delicious. We had rump steak and pizza and it was really enjoyable. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. We can really only recommend it. We'll be back 😋.

Found it by chance and loved the very friendly service and the great pizza. It's really rare to have such a delicious, handmade pizza with anchovies, a thick pizza crust and lots of toppings. Really recommended! Thanks.

We had a delicious pizza this evening and we really enjoyed it. The pizzas are really recommended 😋 The ambience is nice and clocky, as you would expect in an old train station. You can while away the waiting time with one of the many games provided, really awesome 👏🏻 Keep it up👍🏻

Even though it was actually a day off, we were greeted very friendly and were able to have lunch

From the outside we had a few concerns at first but the food and service were first class. The fresh fried potatoes with the schnitzel are particularly recommended.

I got a pizza here on Thursday evening. I had called ahead and wasn't sure whether it would work, as unfortunately I wasn't back in Ilmenau until after 9 p.m., when the kitchen closes according to the website. I also said that it wouldn't be a problem if the pizza wasn't quite fresh anymore, as long as it was good pizza again. The super nice owner put the pizza fresh in the oven when I drove into the parking lot and there was also a free Coke. That and the delicious pizza saved me from a pretty bad day yesterday. We'll definitely come back at least as a couple and eat there again.

Title: A culinary experience in a class of its own I recently visited the Bahnhof Bad restaurant and was blown away by the quality and taste of their food. I was particularly impressed by the pizza, which went far beyond my expectations. The pizza crust, often considered a bit of a "sideshow", really surprised me. It wasn't just an appendage to be eaten out of decency, but a real treat in itself. Every bite of the pizza crust was a feast for the senses – almost like enjoying a freshly baked loaf of bread from a gourmet bakery. It was so delicious that I would have liked to order it as much as any other dish on the menu. In addition to this incredible pizza, Bahnhof Bad offers a wide selection of dishes, all prepared with the same care and quality. The service was excellent, the atmosphere cozy and inviting. I can highly recommend Bahnhof Bad to anyone who is not only looking for a great pizza, but also wants to experience a complete package of culinary perfection. Every meal here truly becomes a special event – ​​and the pizza crust is proof of that.

The food was cold The steak was raw and you can eat it slowly and the only good thing was the guy with the cape who was nice he gets 5 stars the banana juice with Irish was very cool but the rest sucks sorry

So, the steak was cold when it came to our table. Our other order was wrong. (Which in itself wasn't something to complain about at first.) Waited 2 hours for the second pizzas. And then finally being yelled at by the owner for giving a baseless 1-star rating. It is precisely this outburst of anger that makes me give reasons because he asked my family to take down my review several times after I left the restaurant early.

We had our premiere today, April 17th, 2023... It was successful! We picked up the pizzas and they were ready on time. Both were very tasty and airy, with a wonderful, light, crispy base and edge. The Pizza Diavolo with spicy salami, pepperoni and a lot of kick, very good for us. The Florea pizza was also delicious with parmesan, rocket, ham and mini tomatoes. Unusual for us, unfortunately we didn't take a picture, we were very hungry and we were both very full. Conclusion: 2 regular guests won. Thank you SO MUCH for today, see you soon! The pizza was very tasty, crispy and still had a “juicy” edge, typical of the method of preparation, and nice and thin in the middle. Unfortunately, some of the toppings according to the menu were missing from both of our pizzas. Pizza 4 was without mushrooms and pizza 10 was without mushrooms and without onions. The service was friendly. We ordered for pickup and therefore didn't see the missing components until we got home.

Good pizzas also available to pick up. Because of the short waiting time, I got tiramisu for free. We think the prices are a bit too high for the atmosphere, but it tastes very good!

Great place for an informal meal, with options from Wiener Schnitzel to a dozen different pizza choices. Extensive bar, pleasant service, convenient location in the Ilmenau Bad train station. Will return.

Best pizza in Ilmenau and super dear operator. You can taste that the dough has two days to rise. Fluffy on the inside and nice and crispy on the outside. The tiramisu is also highly recommended. We will be back!

A pizzeria in the former train station building. The reopening wasn't long ago, so there's certainly no personal touch to be seen yet. The food was tasty and prepared quickly. There are pizza, pasta dishes, some meat dishes and salads. The waiter was very friendly and accommodating.

We picked up several different pizzas today. Conclusion: incomparably delicious!!! Everything was totally uncomplicated, the owners were totally friendly. I hope you stay with us for a long time, because if we want to eat pizza again, it will be with you! Clear recommendation!! 😋🤩

Heute telefonisch für 13.30 Uhr einen Tisch für 3 Personen reserviert. Der Empfang war wie immer freundlich und die bestellten Pizzen hervorragend zubereitet und äußerst lecker. Als Dankeschön erhielten wir ein Tiramisu-Dessert, wie man es sonst nur selten findet. Der Besuch der Pizzeria Bahnhof Bad in Ilmenau war wieder einmal ein Hochgenuss und kann uneingeschränkt weiter empfohlen werden. Ein dickes Lob für die sehr gute Bewirtung und das angenehm einladende Ambiente. Zur Wahl standen außerdem noch leckere Steak- und Nudelgerichte sowie Bratkartoffeln mit Schnitzel.

Wir wollten gestern Abend spontan essen gehen und da ist in Ilmenau wirklich nicht so einfach. Durch Empfehlung sind wir in diese Gaststätte gegangen und waren wirklich begeistert. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, das Essen war wirklich köstlich. Besonders die Pizza hat uns umgehauen, sie war wirklich hervorragend. Endlich haben wir eine tolle Alternative zum Essen gehen in Ilmenau gefunden. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und können diese Gaststätte nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Nette Pizzeria. Die Pizza gehört zum Besten, was Ilmenau zu bieten hat: Besser als alle Türken, besser auch als der Platzhirsch in der Friedr.-Hofmann-Str., der sich über die vielen Jahre wohl den deutschen Ansprüchen gebeugt hat ("je dicker der Belag, umso besser"). Mache seit ...zig Jahren Urlaub in Italien und habe schon mehrfach bei Pizzaweltmeistern dort gegessen. Bilde mir ein, urteilen zu können. Allerdings hat in meinem persönlichen Ranking das Restaurant Schortemühle ganz knapp die Nase vorn: Den Teig dort fand ich einen Tick knuspriger. Ist aber wohl Geschmackssache. Supernett auf jeden Fall der Kellner(?) oder Wirt(?), der sogar ein kostenloses Wunschgetränk "aufs Haus" für die Wartezeit auf die Pizzas angeboten hat. Wartezeit: Besser geht´s nicht! Komme garantiert wieder!

Leckeres Essen und sehr freundlicher Gastwirt. Auf der Speisekarte stehen aktuell hauptsächlich Pizzen, ein paar Nudelgerichte und Rumpsteak. Soweit ich weiß, soll das Angebot aber noch erweitert werden. Die Pizzen waren sehr gut, knuspriger Teig und üppig belegt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Speisekarte hat eine übersichtlich Auswahl an Pizzen und Salaten. Die Pizzen waren sehr lecker und sind zu empfehlen. Die Gaststättenbetreiber ist sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und motiviert. Kommen gerne wieder.

Die Gaststätte Bahnhof Bad ist wieder neu eröffnet. Speisekarte hat viele verschiedene Gerichte auch Pizza, welche sehr lecker war . Alles rundrum sehr sauber und ordentlich. Der neue Chef ist superfreundlich, gastorientiert und motiviert. Ich drücke ihm die Daumen, dass er noch viele zufriedene Gäste erlebt 👍

Sehr gute Hausmannskost zu vernünftigen Preisen. Das Ambiente ist sehr rustikal.

Guuuuutes Mittagessen. Preis Leistungsverhältnis passt und die Chefin kocht selbst.

Einfache aber bodenständige Küche. Sicher keine Sternenküche, aber für wenig Geld verdammt gut satt. Da komme ich gerne immer wieder.
