Gaststätte am Sportplatz in Großefehn

We had booked a table for 15 (!!!) people on a Saturday evening. When we stood in front of the door the restaurant was closed. Although a telephone number was provided, we were not informed. On a Saturday evening it was not possible to find a table with the number of people...no one could be reached by phone. It was only written on Facebook an hour before our reservation that the restaurant would be closed that evening.

Perfect, the staff are top class, the food is world class and the boss is absolutely amazing, you really have to go there, you rarely experience anything better

Kudos to the employees. They are always nice and friendly and always try to give the guest a great evening. You also notice that there is a great atmosphere among each other. You can tell that from the really good food, the kitchen is really very good...

We ordered once and were all thrilled. Finally a pizza that had good toppings and wasn't swimming in fat. Picked up an order today. From the outside everything seems very inconspicuous... Inside you are surprised at how beautifully everything is decorated. The staff is very accommodating, speaks German well and the exchange of cushions was not charged extra... The pizzas were Well topped, juicy and the edge is crispy and not half charred as is so often the case. We were thrilled once again. We've also ordered kebab before... Everything looks well cared for and fresh. We'll be happy to come back. It's really an insider tip.

Not a great Christmas meal. The soup was vomit-inducing. A mixture of water, fat and frozen vegetables without any taste. Dry imperial vegetables without sauce. Otherwise only red cabbage there. Only the cucumbers were tasty in the salad. They quickly ran out and were not delivered. Potatoes, meat, fish were ok. Sauce was at the front of the buffet so it ran off the plate. Dessert usual. 45 euros at least including drinks. Doesn't matter. The shop is closing. But it wasn't a good finish in my opinion. Nothing negative can be said about the drink service and friendliness. That was really good. But they can't cook.
