Not a particularly good restaurant, even if the celebrity photos on the walls (who even does that anymore?!?) might suggest otherwise. And the chef, who—no joke—circles the tables, telling his guests how fantastic the food tastes. I'd rather judge that for myself. So here goes: We had antipasti for two, followed by a salad that contained exactly the same ingredients as the antipasti, just with a few extra lettuce leaves. The pizza took 45 minutes to arrive, then the wrong one arrived. The correct one was then delivered later and only took as long as a pizza normally takes. Instead, a Coke was served without being ordered—which wasn't unwelcome, but I would have liked to order it myself. The quality was mediocre. There are good frozen pizzas that are better than the one we got. Tough crust, charred toppings—there are better options, and not far off. Conclusion: It's the same as always: In beautiful spots, some restaurateurs think they can do whatever they want because the guests will come anyway. But what matters is whether they come back. Not us.

Wonderful, high-quality, and delicious Italian food, a wonderful place, a genuine, family-run Italian restaurant. Dinner or lunch is excellent. The vegetables are particularly fresh, seasonal, and organic. The service is very friendly and attentive, but you should make a reservation if you want a table. The artichoke bread is divine. The pasta is homemade and wonderfully seasoned, the pizza is authentically Italian, and you can sit outside in the market square.
