A dignified old inn tastefully modernized. Cozy! Unfortunately there is no cooking at the moment (May 25) and is only open for groups.

We went to try the evening buffet on Monday, and for €31 per person, I have to say it wasn't great. 1. There were no signs on the warming boxes indicating what was in them, or any allergy information. You had to look inside the boxes yourself and guess what it was. 2. The same thing happened with the fish and dessert area: no signs or information about ingredients/allergies. When I asked the waiter what kind of fish it was, he said salmon (but which salmon was smoked/steamed/garlic, etc.). Furthermore, we found the older, tall, strong waiter with gray hair to be very unfriendly (he was talking to another colleague about the other colleagues, what mistakes they had made, and he could find out who it really was via the cash register system (you don't do that in front of customers). When a guest asked if there was only buffet food today and if you could also order from the menu, the same waiter replied: > We're a restaurant, not a pub!!

We've been here every year so far, and it's always been okay. But unfortunately, not this year. The reception was okay, the menu was manageable. We had the Pannfisch (fried fish), which was carelessly layered with three small, unappetizing pieces of fried fish in the middle, very greasy, but otherwise not much flavor. The service during clearing was unprofessional ("move the things over"), with two beers and two small desserts. €95!! That night, my husband felt sick, had a stomachache, a slight fever, and he spent 24 hours in bed (we hadn't eaten anything else). A whole day of vacation ruined. Clearly triggered by the dinner. What a shame, we won't be coming back.

We had a fantastic stay. The ladies at the reception deserve special mention. They were fantastic. The room was clean. Everything was great! The hotel is right on Marktplatz. June 14, 2025 5:00 PM

We tried burgers and schnitzel. The food was perfectly fine and tasty. However, I found the price of over €15 for a single burger a bit steep. The service was friendly, and the food was tasty. But you can do that for one evening. A fried fish sandwich was available for €5.50. The price/performance ratio was perfectly acceptable.
