Beer garden atmosphere, delicious food. Bavarian good.

For years I've always come to eat once or twice when I'm nearby, everything was great the whole time, but now I don't seem to want to eat anymore or earn enough, it's now the third time that I haven't had one after almost 20 minutes Saw a service person outside, only this time I drove again. There wasn't even much activity outside. For me it was definitely the last time I stopped here.

Well located, nice beer garden, very courteous staff, clean rooms and the food tasted delicious. What more do you need? It's worth the stop!

Absolutely recommended - from the service to the friendliness to the food. The beer garden and restaurant were fully occupied and yet all the employees were extremely friendly and attentive. Care was taken to provide for the children first and to fulfill all their wishes. The food was super good and plentiful. We will definitely come back when we are in Kempten.

Food in the restaurant was great But what does your chef do for a living? Yesterday we ordered tough pork fillet, the pig had to die twice unfortunately :/ it was a rubber sole but the best thing was raw and cold fries, the MC has even better fries Stay away from the delivery service.

We had dinner at the inn on Saturday evening. The food was overall quite ok. What bothered me was that my salad was “swimming” in the dressing. There was just too much dressing. My companion's onion roast was a little over done, which was still ok. Something like that can just happen. What didn't work at all was the sauce for the roast roast, which would have already pulled a skin where it was at our table - that's just not possible. This was the case with the other skewers with sauce. I think that's a no go. But what bothered me the most was the unfriendly service, which had a tone in itself, something like that just doesn't work. In terms of the ambience and food, I can recommend this inn. A few things could be changed, but it's not that dramatic. What I can't stand are such conditions, which is why I only give it 3 out of 5 stars. It's a shame actually.

Absolut ungenügend. Haar und Alufolie im Essen. So kann man keinen Leberkäse an Kunden ausliefern! Mir hat es nicht geschmeckt, das Essen ist in die Tonne gewandert.

You should stay away from the delivery service. Everything clapped together carelessly, aluminum foil in the food - a hair as well. Didn't taste good.

Food very tasty 😋! Have various daily specials and a normal menu. I've eaten there several times and it's always been good and the portions are nice. beef goulash with fries; Steak with pepper sauce; Pork fillet with Röstis and Metaxa sauce; Steak stuffed with wild garlic, ham and cheese with fries. Everything was super delicious! And gluten-free, or was made especially gluten-free for me. Unfortunately, the sausage salad was the only thing I personally didn't like so far. Very nice beer garden at the back to sit outside. Unfortunately a little darker inside. Staff friendly and provides information about gluten-free diets.

Prima plek met gezellige terrassen. De bediening is vriendelijk, het eten lekker en niet duur. Ook voldoende keuze. Hond was ook welkom.

The way to Traube is easy to reach on foot from ZUM, and there is also a bus stop nearby or parking spaces directly in front of the restaurant and in the immediate vicinity. A cozy restaurant inside and out. Unfortunately not particularly suitable for wheelchair users as there are stairs to climb. Even getting to the toilet (which is very clean) only requires a small hurdle. The staff is attentive (especially a younger waiter who is always happy to make a funny comment) and is very concerned about the well-being of the guests. The food is delicious, varied and the price/performance ratio is right!! In the beer garden, trees provide shaded seating!! The Kässpäzle are a real treat, but you should bring a good appetite, or alternatively a food storage box, as the portions are quite large!! There is also food on offer on some days, so please check the internet!! I'd love to go there again!!

A lovely old inn and in summer there is also a beer garden outside. The service got to us very quickly and always asked very courteously whether we needed anything else. The food was fantastic and the price was really impressive. Two people with a starter and drinks for just under €40. Really great!

So today I read it in the AZ The Traube offers good home-style food, I was so happy that I ordered straight away in the evening, to my surprise I realized that I have NEVER eaten so badly, Balkan plates are a joke, Almschnitzel with it A chef can't really make sauce that bad, I hadn't found sauce, bacon was raw and I don't even want to know about cheese, so keep looking, maybe there's still good home cooking in the Allgäu

Cozy inn with friendly service and delicious food

We had a wonderful evening and ate very well. Almschnitzel is highly recommended, but the pike perch was also really good. A recommendation for anyone who likes small, cozy inns with fast service and good cuisine!

Clean, central accommodation at reasonable prices. From here we were able to explore Kempten very well! The food is also recommended. We felt very comfortable and in good hands.

Very good and affordable food. The service is attentive and very friendly. The selection is decent and changes with a wichen menu. Dogs can be taken into the beer garden. The beer garden is shady and there are parking spaces in front of the house.

So now I have to write something bad even though I've never been involved with the grape except unfortunately several times now. From one day to the next, the food was no longer as good as it once was and the service when asked or complained was also very unfriendly until the boss tried it himself and there was actually something to it. In addition, prices have gone up and quality has suffered. Unfortunately that's why only 3 stars, it's a shame it was really good in there.

Good home cooking, homemade fresh salads. I had Cordon Bleu, which was well seasoned and therefore very tasty. My husband got the Wiener Schnitzel with fries. The food came to the table after about 15 minutes.

The restaurant with accommodation is located in the center, it's only about a ten minute walk. The meals are excellent. We had a nice view from our room and soundproof windows.

Gestern Abend dort gewesen. Immer ein gutes Zeichen wenn auch Einheimische dort verkehren. Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Bester Zwiebelrostbraten ever! Auch die Geschwollenen mit Kartoffelsalat super lecker. Sehr nette Bedienung. Für heute gleich nochmal reserviert. 😊

Zu den Zimmern kann ich nichts sagen, da Freunde und ich dort nur zum Mittagessen waren. Wir waren aber sehr zufrieden. Das Personal war freundlich, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis gut, das Essen war lecker und die Portionen ordentlich. Sehr zu empfehlen und wir kommen wieder.

Tolles Restaurant mit 1a Service und hervorragendem essen.

Hier ist noch Wirtshauskultur Spür und Erlebbar und das seit Jahrzehnte.Essen war nichts zu meckern ohne Schicki Micki wie es im Wirtshaus üblich ist und war.Selbst Gastronom hab ich mich rundum wohl gefühlt.Gut das es noch solche Gasthäuser gibt keine selbstverständlichkeit.Weiter so Danke

Im Oktober 2023 waren wir wieder einige Tage im Kempten auf einer Schulung. Am 03. Oktober haben wir uns entschieden zum Abendessen zum Gasthof »Goldene Traube« zu gehen. Der Schweizer-Wurstlast war sehr gut und der Salat mit Putenstreifen hat uns ebenfalls gemundet. Der Services war nett und freundlich . Auf jeden Fall werden wir wieder kommen.

Tolles Ambiente, leckeres Essen und ein super freundliches Personal, das sich stets um einen kümmert, doch zu keinem Zeitpunkt aufdringlich ist. Auch eine ideale Location für Feste und Feiern. Alles in allem ist es echt eine Empfehlung und wir freuen uns schon auf die nächsten Besuche.

Hatten für einen größeren Anlass reserviert, im Vorfeld hat bei der Planung alles hervorragend funktioniert, das Essen war superlecker und kam gleichzeitig, die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, Ambiente war sehr gemütlich und angenehm, Preise sind angemessen,… alles in allem eine tolle Erfahrung!

Wir waren zur Einschulung von unserem Sohn da. Von der Reservierung bis zum essen war alles tip top, auch als ein Familien Mitglied eine Halbe stunde Verspätung hatte blieb die Bedienung immer freundlich und professionell. Das Essen war sehr gut, wir waren am Schnitzel Tag, sehr gute Auswahl, einfach gut Bürgerlich zu echt fairen Preisen. Zum Biergarten kann ich nur Wow sagen. Sehr zu empfehlen die Wirtschaft

Waren heute beim essen mit 10 Personen dort , essen Service waren top , Bier wie es sich gehört mit einer schönen Krone ( hatte ich schon lang nicht mehr ) hatte das almschnitzel kann ich nur weiterempfehlen, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir waren nur im Biergarten. Sehr fitte, nette Bedienung. Essen gut und Preise gehen auch noch. Currywurst mit pommes für 10 €. Es war ziemlich voll, sogar fie Plätze direkt an der Straße.

Im Herzen von Kempten liegt die Goldene Traube - gemütlich, mit uriger Einrichtung und freundlicher Atmosphäre. Vor allem Service-Leiterin Jessica hat alles dran gegeben, um unser Fescht zu einem tollen Erfolg werden zu lassen. Küche bestens – Getränke klasse – Bester Service! Gerne auf ein Wiedersehen!

Belle découverte. Le cadre est typique. Un très bon accueil...quant aux assiettes : la cuisine est typique et très généreuse ...tout cela pour un excellent rapport qualité/ prix. Bref une adresse à recommander surtout si vous aimez les schnitzel ...

Einfach ein tolles Restaurant. Immer gut besucht oder voll. Wir gehen öfter Freitag zum Stammtisch. Tolle Auswahl an Gerichten in der Normalen Karte und ständig wechselnde Tagesgerichte. Preis-, Leistungsverhältnis super. Nette Servicekräfte. Besonders die Ältere, mit über 70 noch so flott und trotzdem zuvorkommend. Manchmal etwas hektisch oder man muss länger warten, das wird aber vorher gesagt. Der Chef könnte 1 bis 2 Mitarbeiter mehr einstellen. Das hat aber nichts mit den schwierigen Zeiten zu tun, war vorher schon so. Ich empfehle Die Goldene Traube immer und jedem.

war am 23.12.22 dort zum Mittagessen, hatte "Kässpatzen" ein sehr reichlich gemischter Salat mit dem bestellten Bier kam eigentlich sehr bald. Jedoch auf die Kässpatzen musste ich sehr lange warten. Es gab nur 1 zwar sehr tüchtige Servicedame in dem vollen Gasthof die hat es wohl vergessen nach einem Hinweis von mir bekam ich das Gericht. Jedoch waren die Kässpatzen auf einem kalten Teller angerichtet das geht überhaupt nicht, die Kässpatzen waren etwas sehr blass hätten wohl etwas mehr Eier vertragen, obenauf nur ein kleiner Klacks von Zwiebeln. Habe am Schluss der Sevicedame wegen dem kalten Teller dies wissen lassen aber die war damit überfordert. Habe dann am Abend auf der Internetseite b. Kontaktformular dem Betreiber dies wissen lassen, habe paar Tage gewartet kam keine Stellungnahme dazu, habe nochmals nach Tagen ähnliches geschrieben kam wieder nichts. Somit werde ich den Gasthof nicht mehr aufsuchen oder weiterempfehlen.

Das Essen war total unwürzig und lieblos zubereitet. Das Brot war hart, könnte aufgetaut sein oder alt. Man konnte sein Essen leider garnicht genießen. Einmal und nicht wieder...

Das Gasthaus für Jedermann. Gutbürgerliche Küche, sowie jeden Freitag Kässpatzen satt essen. Wir haben uns im Biergarten sehr wohl gefühlt.

Am 07.06.21 war ich mit meiner Mutter ab 20.15h (die das Lokal lange kannte und immer wieder mal hingeht) dort essen. Das Essen war sehr gut, die Bedienung freundlich. Alle waren wir froh, dass der Lockdown vorüber war. Am 20.06.21 wollte ich ein anderes Gericht probieren. Wieder kam ich um 20.15h hin. Beachtet wurde ich länger nicht. Auf Anfrage sagte man mir, sehr unempathisch und in unangemessene Ton, dass die Küche zwar normalerweise bis 21h offen sei, heute jedoch nicht, da ja sowieso nicht viel los sei. Ich solle doch froh sein, jetzt doch früher als geplant nach Hause zu kommen. Kein Wort des Verständnisses für meine Situation, kein Wort des Leidtuns oder ähnliches. Die Dame war schlichtweg unverschämt, kein Kundenservice und keine Höflichkeit erkennbar. Ich könne mich gerne beschweren, was ich hiermit tue. Wäre ich der Chef, würde ich DIESE Person sofort entlassen. Nie wieder für mich dieses Lokal, für meine Mutter und Bekannte vermutlich auch nicht. Das geht so einfach gar nicht.

Lange Wartezeiten. Unfreundlicher Service. Aperol Sprizz, der seinen Namen NICHT verdient. Liebloser Salat mit Putenstreifen. Cordon Bleu aus der Friseuse. Alles sehr lieblos angerichtet. Pommes vom Service auf dem Tisch verschüttet. Einmal und NIE WIEDER!

Wir haben 5 Gerichte bestellt und alle waren sehr lecker! Besonders das Cordon Bleu mit Kartoffelsalat war spitze! Jederzeit gerne wieder!

Mit Reservierung noch einen Platz in dem schattigen Biergarten bekommen. Vorspeisen Salat sehr lecker. Cordon Bleu ziemlich gross und hervorragend geschmeckt. Hatte extra Soße dazu bestellt ein Traum. Wir waren rund um zufrieden und sehr preiswert. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Waren in dem Restaurant bei einer Radtour zur Rast. In dem schönen Biergarten kann man auch gut bei Sonne sitzen, da hier dichte Bäume wachsen. Das Essen hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Zum Weiterempfehlen.
