Very nice restaurant with good food. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The Kaiserschmarrn was excellent. Full recommendation!

Nice, cozy atmosphere, appealing menu and something for every taste. The Wiener Schnitzel was very tasty, and for dessert there was Kaiserschmarren, which was also very tasty. In combination they are more than enough. The service was very attentive, even when it was busy. Very well attended for a Monday evening, which speaks for the quality. I'd love to come back. Beer was freshly tapped on tap.

Food and service impeccable. Ambience a bit too sterile. The reservation system seems completely incomprehensible to me. It is early evening, half the restaurant is empty, but several families with small children are being sent away. Empty restaurants are uncomfortable. First come, first serve.

The barrel hall in Kempten is absolutely recommended! Great atmosphere, rustic and cozy – just the thing for a relaxing evening. Our waiter Erich was super attentive and took great care of us. The food was simply great! Fresh, tasty and with great attention to detail.

The food and ambiance is very good. We had in total 4 glasser of wines, which according to the menu are 0.1 ltr and costs € 4,20 each. When we received the cheque, it was much higher then we expected. When I asked about it, the waiter told us we had 4 glasses of 0.2 ltr and not 0.1ltr. We found that a bit strange as on the menu only 0.1 or 0.75 ltr is available. Although the food, ambience and service is very good, this gave us a bad feeling when we walked out.

The schnitzel was delicious, the soup was also very tasty, the beer was delicious, drunk, the salad with sausage was unclear whether it was spaghetti or sausage, or that there were no vegetables. Just red onions. The bread is fresh. Thanks for the atmosphere

Wow The brewery of the future, beautiful, welcoming, modern, elegant and also traditional. Truly a place to visit absolutely. Whoever designed this place is visionary. The food is great. The boys are very good. Too bad the last time I went there I found it closed. While Google gave it as open.

Was here and ate an onion roast with cheese pätzle. Plus a beer. I really have to say there is nothing wrong with it!! It was like a dream. The food was absolutely fantastic. I've never had such a good onion roast before. 5 stars without hesitation. Always friendly, competent and totally in a good mood

Very nice location. 2 parking garages around the corner. Service was top. Unfortunately, despite reserving online, we didn't get a standard table and had to sit at a high table. Not recommended if you have back problems. The excuse was that they were probably already full. Then I am not allowed to confirm the reservation. Now to the food: The extra side salad was delicious, but too expensive at €6.90. The cheese spazen and the knuckle were very tasty. In my opinion, the food came almost too quickly. Otherwise it was a great evening.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe mit 32 Personen. Reserviert und Essen vorbestellt. Hat alles perfekt geklappt. Essen und Biere sehr gut und preislich in Ordnung. Die Fasshalle sollte man bei einem Besuch in Kempten unbedingt einplanen. An der Freundlichkeit einiger Angestellter wäre noch Luft nach oben. Deshalb nur 4 Sterne.

We received a friendly welcome even without a reservation, were given a seat at the counter, had fun with the bartender, received our food quickly and felt completely at home! Nevertheless - definitely make a reservation!!

Absolutely recommended! Top service, top food and nice ambience. And all of this at more than fair prices. The taste of the food was excellent and the portions were also large. Although it was very busy when we visited, the staff was always attentive and friendly. There was also ice cream for our daughter. Negative comments that I have read here on Google about the barrel hall are incomprehensible and should be ignored! We will be back and recommend the Fasshalle to our holiday guests with a clear conscience. This restaurant is also worth the trip from Immenstadt to Kempten.

The atmosphere is of course great, the waiter is an absolute professional with passion for his job. But the best thing is the food - I had a pork roast where the crust was just right, a great dumpling that definitely tasted like it was homemade with real apple red cabbage and a top sauce. Well, I have to say, my expectations were very, very low because, unfortunately, people are often used to restaurants like this being more mass-produced and the quality is usually just good. But I really have to apologize for my pigeonholing. The food was amazing, it came very quickly. Apparently they prepared everything really well, but that doesn't change the extremely good quality. The food was simply "wow", and I'm someone who quickly complains about food because I can cook well myself and then I always think to myself: If I can do it just as well, then it's nothing special. But the food was consistently extremely good. Everything tasted so extremely good, as if it had been cooked over and over again and perfected until it came together perfectly. It was worth every penny and just really good. Unfortunately, we only found the Fasshalle by chance on Instagram; there were simply far too many locations on Google Maps near our hotel. At first it was the case that we only had a place for an hour because they were completely booked. And since we come from further away, we of course didn't have a reservation, but they tried everything to offer us a place without a time limit, which worked out in the end. If you want to eat regional German cuisine, you should definitely come here and order something regional. There are fries and burgers everywhere. We had the Fasshallen-Pfännle and the oven-fresh crusted roast, and both were a culinary delight. Thanks for the great food. If we're in the area again, we'll come back. And until then, I'll tell everyone how amazing you surprised us. Simply totally overdelivered. We didn't drink just one beer, hence the price per person, but it's totally worth it. You can get everything else from cheap, off-the-shelf dishes everywhere. P.S. The crowd was more than great. I didn't finish my food straight away, I had to take a long break, and my food was divine even later when cold.

Very nice atmosphere, large area with 2 floors. Service also impressed us. The waiter who served us on the second floor was attentive and friendly. The food tasted delicious, the portions are huge. So, it was a very nice experience there.

Really nice brewery with very high ceilings and still very pleasant acoustics. Service very quick and attentive, very friendly! Unfortunately, we weren't so lucky when it came to eating. The burger patty was really, really well done, the bacon was rock hard.

First the positive: The food was delicious and the first drinks came very quickly. Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time before we could place our food order. There were very few guests there, but our service was not at all on the ball. We told another waitress that we wanted to pay. She told us that someone was coming soon. “In a moment” turned into another 20 minutes until we could pay. Here we also had the opportunity to order our last round. If they had paid attention to us beforehand, they could have had another two to two drinks. Conclusion: The food is good, but the service could be improved.

Was here for the first time with family. Very good service and delicious dishes. Everything fits here. The location was also very appealing. Parking is also very easy as there is a parking garage next door.

When I was in the barrel hall for the first time at the beginning of 2020, I was disappointed. If I remember correctly, there were hardly any dishes on the menu that had anything to do with a “tavern” because that was how they presented themselves back then. The happy hour for cocktails saved the evening, but I didn't want to go here to eat again for the time being. In 2023 I gave the Fasshalle another chance, I was very surprised. The menu now finally has a lot of dishes that I can start with and that also fit in here. I've been here a few times now. Food is very good, service is also good. Price/performance is right.

Coole Lokation in der City von Kempten mit großen Biergarten. Wie der Name schon sagt befindet sich das Lokal in einer Halle. Es gibt verschiedene Sorten Bier wobei man auch ein Biertasting machen kann zu 7,90€ Essen alles sehr lecker.

Cool location as the name suggests in a hall. Very relaxed service but everything fits. There are different types of beer and you can also do a beer tasting for €7.90 Tip Allgäuer Schnitzel for €18.90

Too warm, too expensive, too strenuous

We have been to the Fasshale Restaurant several times and have been satisfied so far. Unfortunately, yesterday's food didn't impress us; it used to be much better. Maybe we just caught the wrong day, but almost €19 for a burger Can you actually expect better cuisine!

It rarely happens, but we were there at 1:59 p.m. and there was a break at 2:00 p.m. - but we were assigned a table and were served nicely and promptly without being annoyed. Despite everything, we were not given any time pressure. And the food was absolutely amazing! The sausage salad is a poem as are the Maultaschen and the Kaiserschmarrn. We were thrilled.

Nice place to have a beer and eat something typical German. The menu is only in German and the waiter didn't speak much English either. We were still able to have dinner and have a few beers.

I had dinner here with my family and I found a very nice place, delicious food typical of the area and prices in line with the quality of what I ate. Excellent Radler! Only the service I found could be improved: we asked for an extra empty plate to share the food with the children, but despite having asked for it several times it never arrived.

We stopped in Kempten on Monday while passing through and had lunch at the Fasshalle. We really enjoyed the food, soups and main courses. The young lady in service was extremely friendly and really on the ball. The ambience is that you can sit outside very nicely. The hall itself is quite impressive and tastefully decorated. The toilets were also new, clean and in very good condition. I would like to give you a sixth star for the Asbach-Cola 🤩🥰🤤 you are immediately reminded of the old, wild times of 20 years ago 😅

Flottes, sehr freundliches Service-Personal, die Speisen sind auch sehr gut (speziell der Zwiebelrostbraten und der warme Schoko-Kuchen mit Vanilleeis), dazu ein absolut stimmiges Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und als Draufgabe noch eine sehr coole Location. Kurzum ein äußerst gelungenes Gesamt-Paket. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder :)

The food was very, very good, large portions 👍 Unfortunately, we didn't immediately know that there was a children's menu, we only found out/saw that at the end (by chance). Ambience very good. If you want to sit outside, you should make a reservation. The small beer tasting was very good. The toilets are clean.

A must-do for beer fans. Allgäuer-Brauhaus live, a pleasure to drink the good beer here, inside and outside. Since you're in Kempten, stop by, it's worth it, the food is also good.

The service and beer in this restaurant are excellent. About the food: they have a very varied menu, so something for everyone. My friend and I both had the schweinshaxe. The food arrived literally 2 minutes after we ordered it, which makes you think how good can it be. It was okay, but we wouldn't come back for the food.

Lekker en verzorgd gegeten van de plaatselijke Duitse specialiteiten. Verzorgd biergarten intérieur met gedienstig en vriendelijk personeel. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is in orde. Vlakbij hotel gelegen, ideaal in ons geval 😉.

Food is delicious and the barrel hall is nicely decorated. However, the menu does not adequately describe which dishes are vegetarian and which are not!

Very nice staff, cozy atmosphere, quick ordering and preparation of the food. Unfortunately, the food is not very convincing in terms of value for money. Cheese soup as a starter was too small or the very dry children's burger with a dry pattie was nothing for the child or the dad who stepped in as a replacement.

Great restaurant with a great selection in every respect. Very busy reservation is recommended. The service is very friendly, fast and attentive. Top👍💪…Unfortunately the doneness of my dish was completely ignored. Ordered was delivered medium well in English and that is still described symptomatically. When I asked if there was a side salad, the answer was no - but there was one to order separately. Ok so far so good. But it wasn't right, it came extra and I didn't manage the rest. That doesn't have to be the case, does it? It's a shame it could easily have ended with 5*. There was a schnapps as an apology - thanks for that. I'm curious if anyone would like to answer this.

One of the best breweries. Very tasty beer, which is also available as a small tasting plate. The food was all just great. Perfect portions and everything to the point and good quality. Small extras such as sauce for the schnitzel were provided at no extra charge. You'll be happy to come back!

Was here today and ordered an onion roast and I have to say that the meat was fresh and well cut. The taste could be a little better, but still not a deduction. Fried onion quite well done and tasteful. The spaetzle in the 4 area but you can improve it, the cheese content is too large so it seems a bit mushy but the taste is good. The presentation is very good, very attractive. Schnitzel with fries really good, you have to see it. The special large fries are worth highlighting. The schnitzel is made exactly on the ga point, not too dry and easy to bite into. High praise for the presentation. You can go out to eat here, give it a try, a top recommendation. Something else shouldn't be forgotten, Tobi the waiter is a top guy, personable and fun to have. The boss was very friendly and had to say he got a seat despite not having reserved a seat. The ambience of the store is an eye-catcher. Prices are all reasonable and discretionary. By far you are in the right place here and feel comfortable as a guest.

The ambience inside is very nice, but this diminishes outside. The service is very friendly, also super fast (a little too fast if you want to try the beer tasting offered before your meal). Unfortunately, the food didn't convince us 100%. The onion roast was battered so thin, like a schnitzel, so that it wasn't medium rare, but rather well done. That's how it tasted too. The sauce is very liquid and tasteless. In the second dish (Schwabenpfännle), the spaetzle had the taste of meat. Therefore not edible. Wouldn't come again.

The barrel was all great. There were three of us there and we ate something. The food was great and everything was freshly prepared. The service left nothing to be desired, occasionally coming to the table and asking if everything was okay. And if we still have any wishes, we ordered 3 more Expressos. The barrel all deserves 5 stars in all areas. We will go again. The food, service and ambience are great, I can only recommend it to everyone. 👍👌

Yum! We ordered Allgäuer Büble Biers - Bayrisch Hell, the Wiener Schnitzel and Allgäuer Kässpatzen. The schnitzel was amazing, great portions for sharing. The Kässpatzen is like Mac and cheese with fried onions on top. DELICIOUS! Highly recommend checking out the location. We ended up arriving quite late, but they still were able to accommodate us.

Visit home. Very positively surprised. Well prepared and great local food. Staff very friendly and paramedics new and modern. Price performance is right. Gladly again
