Gasthof Alter Dorfkrug in Berlin

The menu was a bit disappointing, but the food was very tasty. Some of the staff were amateurs!!

What could be nicer than stopping off at the Dorfkrug after a stroll through the gently rolling green fields of northern Berlin? Solid food, friendly staff, and, when the weather's nice, a wonderful terrace—it's not for nothing that the façade says "Relaxation" 🙂

I was in charge of catering for our wedding, and everything was delicious 😋. The chef and staff were super friendly and helpful. Thank you for everything.

A very nice atmosphere here before we went to another engagement. I loved the food here and the beer. My wife was slightly disappointed that there was not enough goats cheese on her meal. The service was efficient and friendly. Difficult to park when there is an event on.

An Asian restaurant in the Old Village Inn. Friendly and good. Large, pretty beer garden. Usually well-attended. Not without reason.

The staff was obviously overwhelmed by the large number of visitors on the holiday. The service was very inflexible, and several dishes and drinks were out. It's a shame, because the location is actually very nice.

We celebrated our wedding in the Labsaal next door, and the service and catering were provided by the Dorfkrug. The extremely friendly staff at the Dorfkrug also set the table exactly according to our wishes. We felt very comfortable and it was a pleasure planning our wedding with them. Everything went perfectly, and the food was outstanding. Simply delicious. We had a large buffet that we put together ourselves, and there was truly something for every guest. Many thanks to the kitchen and the service staff, and a big thank you to Ms. Watremetz! She executed everything exactly as we imagined. We would love to visit the restaurant again. Very courteous staff and good food.

The waitress was very nice and always came in between and asked if something was missing. The decor matches the name. The food was also good, no one had anything to complain about. Conclusion: Everything OK, also good for groups, But you should come with few vehicles.

An inn with tradition, with a beautiful terrace and beer garden. Unfortunately the restaurant is only open from Wednesday to Monday. A visit is always worth it.

Be sure to reserve! It's really crowded here on the weekend. Great food, of course you won't get full, but a dessert will round it all off! Service friendly Ambience very clean

Stopped in for coffee time after a hike. Since the friendly waitress told us that there was no longer a selection of cakes on offer, we opted for the dessert plate. Dogs are welcome.

Everything is tip top, clean and of quality

The food was really extremely tasty. However, a new employee has been there since the beginning of the year, who directly asked us “Have you reserved?!” and greeted without any hello. When we replied that we hadn't made a reservation, he just rolled his eyes and took us to a table in annoyance. We didn't feel welcome there. Over time, we noticed the harsh treatment of the very young staff, which made us feel very sorry for the young people. We always enjoyed coming here, however due to the lack of hospitality from the older male waiter we will have to look elsewhere. It's a shame, we will really miss the delicious food and the otherwise very nice and attentive staff!

We ate here for the first time today and were really surprised at how delicious the food was. Bruschetta was very tasty. Cordon Bleu was extremely tender and generously filled + vegetables & the gratin👌. Mousse au chocolat - was perfect❤️

Very nice German restaurant. We had reserved and got a nice table. Finally white tablecloths, nice cutlery and decorations again. As a starter we had tarte flambée and bruschetta, followed by schnitzel and pike perch, which was served with seasonal side dishes. We really enjoyed it and liked it. Also positive is the very attentive and friendly service. We'd love to come back.

The goose's meat was still very firm. The cutlery is dull. Red and kale aren't particularly good either. The sauce probably came from the bag. We (4 people) were very disappointed 😞.

Absolut ZAUBERHAFT! Man sitzt prima, es gibt noch herrlich gestärkte schneeweiße Tischdecken, Kerzenlicht und tolle, herzliche Servicedamen. Wir haben den besten hausgemachten Linseneintopf des Lebens gegessen und eine Creme Brule, die mit jedem Sterne-Restaurant mithalten konnte. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Übrigens: wir waren mit unseren Hunden da: alle sehr hundefreundlich.

Quaint, authentic facility. A feel-good place. We were lucky because we got a seat on Sunday afternoon. The smaller room where we sat filled up quite quickly. The ladies on site served quickly and were attentive, but discreet. Go there again.

After a walk in the Tegler Fließ, we stopped at this inn for coffee and cake. Fast and professional service and a wide selection of food and drinks. Prices are a little above average but we were still very satisfied. The inn is large and very nicely decorated. Recommended.

An authentic restaurant, where you will have a great time. The building itself is a work of German art. The dishes are incredibly delicious, the welcome and the service is fast and smiling, all in a magnificent setting in the middle of nature. Thanks to Jean Claude and Sabine!

It's one of the last summer days of 2024. We always wanted to dine there and said goodbye to Waidmannslust there. It was beautiful! The food was delicious, the service was extremely good and competent. The dishes were selected and of very good quality. The processing, presentation and ultimately the food is a pleasure for body and soul. As additional skills, the weather and ambience were perfect. Thank you for this gastronomic experience! It made up for the years of daily driving over the cobblestones of Lübars.

Im ganzen Lokal 2 Tische belegt. 2 Stunden vor Feierabend. Aber für mich hatte man keinen gedeckten Tisch übrig. Ich sollte im Bistro - bei Service und Küche - Platz nehmen. Angeblich sei alles andere (ca. 20 leere Tische) reserviert. Dreist und unverschämt ! Ich wollte testen, ob wir die Konfirmation meines Enkels da feiern. Mit Sicherheit nicht und NIE wieder.

We visited the restaurant many years ago and didn't have a good experience. Now we gave it another chance, and lo and behold, it was wonderful. The food was very tasty. This calls for repetition.

Today we were at the Dorfkrug with 25 people after the Corvus Corax concert. It was perfect. Delicious food, good wine, fast friendly service. There were offers for both schnitzel lovers and vegetarians. Thank you. And after a long day at work, you can quickly feed a group of 25 people...that's great.

Our lovely waitress was quick and friendly and met our every need. Special requests were also quickly carried out to our satisfaction. Thank you very much for that. After a long walk, hunger brought us here. Ate fantastic tarte flambée. Great value for money. The staff is very friendly and considerate. He also puts in a lot of effort and always has a kind remark on his lips. Guests are very well looked after here.

Hübsches Lokal in historischen Gebäude. Leider völlig überforderter Service, da Personalmangel. Kein à la carte Essen mehr möglich. Als wir dort waren, gab es lediglich Käse oder Flammkuchen zur Auswahl. Zunächst wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass man unsere Bestellung erst in einer halben Stunde entgegennehmen könne worauf hin wir die Wartezeit mit einem kleinen Spaziergang durchs hübsche Dorf überbrückt haben. Nach Rückkehr warteten wir dennoch über 1 Stunde auf unser Essen. Super unfreundlicher Service, der uns den Appetit verdorben hat. Letztendlich sind wir um 13:00 Uhr gekommen und haben unser Essen um 14:40 Uhr serviert bekommen. Nie wieder! Unsere Empfehlung daher: ein Picknick mitnehmen und allenfalls zum Kaffeetrinken dort vorbeischauen. (der Kuchen in der Vitrine sah sehr lecker aus und war sicher sofort verfügbar)

It's a shame that the concept has changed and there is only a menu on Fridays and coffee and cake or snacks on the weekends. We always enjoyed coming over for dinner with family and friends.

As always before Christmas, we ate goose with dumplings and red cabbage and kale there today, and not only was it an extremely pleasant atmosphere, there was also a particularly friendly and cheerful service and simply a pleasure. Everything is tender, aromatic and extremely delicate. We left completely satisfied and happy with the firm intention of repeating it next year. And we also love eating here in the summer, even outside. We have never been disappointed, quite the opposite.

We just enjoyed our traditional Christmas dinner at the Gasthof Alter Dorfkrug. As always, the service was very friendly and the food was delicious. The goose is crispy yet juicy meat. Red and green cabbage are a culinary revelation. Plus the dumplings, the sauce, the red wine. And finally the double espresso. Everything has been consistently very good quality over the years. A gift for the palate and soul. Thanks! We always enjoy coming back and hope that you have the strength to persevere.

We recently celebrated our wedding in the LabSaal next door. The Gasthof Alter Dorfkrug was our caterer for this event. We were really, really happy about it. The arrangements with Ms. Watremetz from the Dorfkrug always worked wonderfully and she is just such a warm and sweet person, I immediately felt at home. Everything was very well organized and executed. Our tables were beautifully set and our own decorations were added. Everything really looked beautiful! The service staff was super friendly and great, and they always made sure that there were enough drinks on the tables. The buffet we chose was simply great! All the dishes were incredibly delicious, from the starters to the midnight snack, there was something for everyone and certain requests were catered for. It was really a wonderful day and the Dorfkrug simply complemented and rounded it off perfectly. Thank you for this great service and the really delicious food! We will definitely go out to eat at the Dorfkrug sometime :)

Heerlijk gegeten! Grote porties met liefde en aandacht bereid.

Schnitzel war hervorragend, leider konnte man auf Grund Personalmangels nicht bei dem schönen Wetter draußen sitzen. Obwohl ohne Voranmeldung nichts geht, haben wir netterweise doch Plätze bekommen. Schade, dass solche guten Gaststätten so zu kämpfen haben. Das alte Mobiliar ist sehr schön, man fühlt sich in Jahre zurückversetzt, als die Welt noch in Ordnung war.

Gehobene Küche, essen nicht preiswert aber sehr sehr Lecker und sein Geld wert

Wir waren hier zu unserer Hochzeit, sehr zu empfehlen, äußerst netter und zuvorkommender Service, ausgezeichnete Küche. Wir sind sehr zufrieden.

Der Inhaber und die Bedienung sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gern hier her.

Wir waren hier schon mehrfach essen und haben uns aufgrund dessen dazu entschlossen unsere Hochzeit im anliegenden Labsaal Lübars zu feiern. Das Buffet kam vom Dorfkrug und es war wirklich klasse. Die Absprache war sehr professionell und individuell, alle Wünsche wurden berücksichtigt. Hier wird noch mit Leidenschaft gekocht und das merkt man. Wir und die Gäste waren begeistert.

Ausflug mit Familie ins Naturschutzgebiet von Lübars. Haben vor Ort Reserviert. (Reservierung seid Sept. 23 Pflicht) Wir saßen schön draussen auf der Terrasse und liessen es uns schmecken. Alles frisch zubereitet. Kein Convinience Essen wie meist in den Restaurants. Hier wird noch richtig gekocht. (so laut Kellner, und auch nach Geschmack und Aussehen). Alles richtig fein. Sehr sehr lecker. Nur nen klitzekleines Manko: Die Portionen sind doch recht übersichtlich, dafür aber immer noch im Preislichen Mittelfeld. Um Satt zu werden muss es schon Vorspeise, Hauptgang und Dessert sein. So im Nachhinein, möchte man aber auch auf nix davon verzichten. Also alles richtig.

Urgemütliches Restaurant im Dorfkern Lübars. Nettes Personal. Relativ kleine Karte, aber für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Das Essen ist frisch und sehr lecker. Aufgrund der frischen Zubereitung kann es manchmal etwas länger dauern. Gerne wieder. Ab September 2023 braucht man eine Reservierung.

Ein gemütliches, sehr schönes Gasthaus. Essen war sehr lecker, besonders der Flammkuchen. Wirklich nette und aufmerksame Kellner. Gehen sehr gerne wieder hin.

They have nice dessert plates & they're located in a gorgeous location. The service was attentive & polite. That's where the positives end, unfortunately. This place will always be in high demand, so me being brutally honest won't hurt their business. We had the rabbit leg and the boiled beef and it was 'bland city' (my mother agreed) - in German: "fade". Doing that to dishes that come with a mustard and a horseradish sauce is quite an achievement. The cherry cake was 90% dough & the coffee was awful. The final kick - or bump rather - was a visit to the male toilet for the average sized (1,80 m) dude. As you leave, you look down to navigate the quite steep steps leading down, missing that your head has insufficient clearance for the (thankfully padded) stone ceiling & you make startling contact. I never had that experience. A little warning, perhaps? Recommendation: Go for the Flammkuchen.

Wenn das Personal selten wechselt, ist das meistens ein gutes Zeichen . Hier auf jeden Fall ist es so. Das Team ist immer freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Die Karte ist aufgeräumt, nicht übervoll und der Saison angepasst und vor allem frisch zubereitet. Man sollte besser reservieren :) - auch das spricht für die Beliebtheit.

Wir haben hier unsere Hochzeit mit über 100 Gästen im Labsaal nebenan gefeiert - und es war großartig! Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, das Essen wirklich sehr gut, wunschgemäß mit vielen köstlichen vegetarischen und veganen Optionen, aber auch die Fleisch- und Fischesser waren sehr angetan. Unkomplizierte und sehr nette Absprache im Vorfeld, wunderbare Mischung aus deutscher und französischer Küche, nettes Personal mit Herz und Humor, genau wie die Inhaber, ganz herzlichen Dank!

Service.manchmal etwas chaotisch, sonst aber freundlich und schnell. Leckeres Essen zu moderaten Preisen gemütliches Ambiente.

Excellent endroit pour trouver de délicieux mets à se mettre sous la dents. Plat bien présenté tout en étant parfaitement frais, y avoir été 2 fois en l'espace d'une semaine fut un excellent moment passé que ce soit avec des amis ou en famille. De plus, le service fut vraiment très appréciable, merci au cuisto et aux serveurs

Weil nur eine halbe Stunde Zeit blieb, haben wir hier nur Kaffee getrunken. Der Kaffee war sehr gut. Die Atmosphäre ist immer wieder schön! Am Wochenende reservieren wir künftig.

Wir kommen immer gern her, da der Service meist top ist. Ist meist viel Betrieb, da geht die Aufmerksamkeit gelegentlich flöten. Aber noch viel wichtiger, dass Essen ist ausgezeichnet. Trotz voller Hütte und ala carte Vielfalt, durchgängig sehr gute Qualität. Weiter so!
