Excellent food and service, we had knuckle, salad and strudel, all delicious. The gentleman who served us was very friendly, a place to repeat.

We have been coming here for years and we are already looking forward to coming back next year for the delicious flammenkuche. We think they are the tastiest and the price is great too.

The best place in Gengenbach. Very authentic, spectacular service (they also speak Spanish). Good local food and variety of local beers. On top of that, very low prices. Without a doubt highly recommended!

A fantastic experience - it was the best tarte flambée of my life (from a great selection of 50 variations!) and the service was great despite a one-man show! We felt very comfortable and had a lovely evening - we will definitely come back!

Nice atmosphere and service. We both took the pork knuckle and we were surprised of the size. There is a lot of fat but still a lot of meat to eat. We almost couldn’t finish eat.

They treated us very well, the food was very good (simple but delicious dishes). There is a menu in Spanish and the owner also knows Spanish. Quality-price relation is excellent.

Koni, which is the name of the owner, a charming person who knows how to speak a little Spanish, always attentive to everything. He pulled us up to a table so we could sit down. Regarding the food, everything we ordered was delicious. We ordered knuckle, Flammkuchen, lamb, sausage salad, cheeses. And everything was delicious, everything was homemade. A cozy place, the bar is pub-type but very well decorated. Outside it also has some tables. Congratulations koni.

Ate here, served by lovely friendly waiter who made great allowances for our limited German. Had delicious Tarte flambé..mine asparagus and ham, his spicy salami. Lovely couple of glasses of dry Riesling and Pils for him. Was cooler in the upstairs bar, very welcome in the 32° humid weather. Nice old fashioned decor and old photos on the walls...made us feel very welcome here.

I recently went there for dinner with friends. The food was very good. A large selection of beers rounded it all off. The flambéed tarte flambée is highly recommended.

Very cozy and beautiful. Unfortunately not for vegans, as even the fried potatoes are served with bacon. The waitress/cook with zero understanding, zero flexibility. Very unfortunate.

Es un restaurante con aspecto de Pub con decoración y muebles en madera. Pequeña terraza en el exterior. En el interior vemos varios grifos de cerveza y en los frigoríficos más variedad en botellas. La carta nos gustó bastante. A mi personalmente el Codillo al horno me parece genial, grande, sustancioso. El propietario habla un poco español Volveremos

Ongelooflijk lekkere schweinshaxe, grote portie, prijs kwaliteit niet van deze tijd (=positief!). Zeer vriendelijke gastheer en snelle service. Kreeg ook de optie om mee te nemen wat ik niet op kon. Heerlijk gegeten in de nazon op het terras voor. Aanrader!

Perfecto para tomar una cerveza y comer comida típica. El personal muy amable, nos dieron la carta en Español y nos atendieron en nuestro idioma. Tomamos el codillo, Maultashen, sopa de Gulash y strudel. Todo riquísimo y a buen precio. El local es muy bonito y pintoresco. Si estás por la zona no dudes en hacer parada allí.

Un pub qui semble appartenir à une autre époque avec un tissus de banquette comme le canapé de ma grand mère. Ça sent fort quand on y rentre et l’aspect désuet ne doit pas vous faire partir. Ambiance locale, bon choix de bières, flammekuche très bonnes. Service agréable et rapide. Un super souvenir !

Uhriges Ambiente kombiniert mit einfacher Küche. Super Service und geschmacklich sehr gut! Das Ambiente ist nicht ganz meins, daher ein Punkt Abzug. Da es aber ein persönlicher Geschmack ist, gibt es in der Summe keinen Abzug. Definitiv wieder!

Gemütliche Kneipe mit guter Auswahl an Bieren (sogar Reisdorf Kölsch) und diversen Flammkuchen. Netter Wirt und uriges Ambiente. Immer wieder gerne!

Restaurante muy tranquilo y bonito. El dueño muy simpático, nos han atendido fenomenal. Se esforzaban por hablar Español y la atención ha sido inmejorable, como estar en casa. La comida buenísima y calidad precio excelente. Sin duda volveríamos. Un punto muy a favor es la carta en Español.

Popped in on the off chance whilst visiting on fasnachtsdienstag and despite the town being busy we were accommodated and looked after. The whole experience was superb and very traditional. The Pork knuckle dish was very tasty and the local beer good and reasonably priced. Highly recommended if you happen to ever be in Gengenbach

Un sitio muy lugareño de la zona centro con encanto tanto por fuera como por dentro. Con un trato muy bueno, y carta en español. Precios muy asequibles. Volvería sin duda!! En el vídeo se aprecia el corvejón de lechón( increíble) ensalada de salchicha y tipo pizza con setas del bosque.

Jolie resto un charme incroyable boisé feutré on sent que c'est local pour autant le patron nous à chouchouter..la cuisine tenue par une Cuisinière qui travaille les plats Allemand est vraiment délicieuse et savoureuse un régal (la tarte flambée Flambée devant vous !! )....Si vous passez sur le très jolie village de Gengenbach ,allez manger dans ce restaurant😙

El ambiente espectacular, el trato muy bueno, cosa rara porque en la mayoría de sitios fueron desagradables al ver que eramos españoles. La carta está en español y se agradece y además abren hasta "tarde" y nos vino muy bien Pedimos codillo y la pizza de queso de oveja y espinacas y todos salimos satisfechos, comida que llena, desde luego y la cerveza muy rica, recomendamos la de trigo especialmente o la oscura si te gusta algo más fuerte Si vuelvo a la zona repetiría sin duda. Also, Restaurant (Kneipe) war schon voll, aber an der Theke gab es noch Platz. Wirt hat gleich die Getränke aufgenommen, Speisekarte ist überschaubar, deshalb Kneipe. Essen war schnell bestellt, schöner Salat mit Bratkartoffeln und Munsterkäse, 😋 Nachbarn an der Theke wollten gehen, haben auch schon bezahlt und den letzten Tropfen getrunken….! Gegenbacher sind super nett, sind noch 1,5Std. geblieben und haben uns gut unterhalten und noch ein paar getrunken. Sie konnten einfach nicht gehen, so schön war es. Super Kneipe so kennen wir das von zuhause.

Tipico locale molto accogliente con il personale gentilissimo. I piatti sono semplici ma di qualità. La birra è veramente buona. Rapporto qualità-prezzo ottimo.
