Yes😉👍, I went there last time with my wife for dinner. We got a nice table outside, and we loved it!🤗 We'll be back.

As always, everything was delicious. Friday was fried fish day with homemade potato salad.

There were three of us there. The service was very friendly, and the food arrived unusually quickly. Unfortunately, the sauce on two dishes was too salty. The third, however, was not. After our negative review, we were immediately offered a small drink (coffee/espresso) free of charge. (Unfortunately, I don't drink that.) Unfortunately, there are only two identical game dishes on the menu. The prices are the same as in any restaurant.

I was there this evening with friends, everything was perfect, the restaurant is very nicely decorated, the service was super friendly and the food can be recommended to everyone

We went to the Wildhof for dinner at Easter. There were 6 of us in total. Unfortunately the food is no longer like it used to be, we had two portions with pasta, mushrooms and truffles, everything was very greasy, the truffle may have been next to the pot but didn't make its way into the dish, but it was really expensive at 17 euros and not worth the price. We also had a gratinated chicken breast with cheese and asparagus, the meat was extremely dry and the cheese was almost impossible to shred. The other dishes were rather averagely good, none of them could be described as really very good, but the prices are totally inflated. We don't recommend it, it's a shame, the Wildhof used to be a good address for down-to-earth cuisine with reasonable prices.

I've known the Wildhof for so long, years . Had a nice evening with family yesterday. The food was very good, I had this truffle pasta with fried porcini mushrooms. Visually ok, but the taste, a taste explosion, as if you were eating a fresh porcini mushroom. Topped off with parmesan. A highlith. I like to drive about 50km for this. The service was very friendly, competent and quick on its feet. The chef can stay 👍

The food was very good, the interior was quaint and dated, but tidy. The service was okay. It was busy. The food came quickly, but after a drink with our meal, we were "forgotten." We would have liked to order another drink. Because of dessert, we got the menu ourselves, pointed it out to the waiter, and ordered. And as expected, we had to go ahead to pay because no one was there. The food was very good, but the rest, well, so-so...

Top! I ordered extra sauce for my meal and it came promptly. It tasted delicious, is easily accessible by car and we will definitely come back again. There was nothing to complain about from anyone at our table. :-)

The roulades with red cabbage were not particularly good. It tasted like it came from a can. However, my Frankfurter Schnitzel was very tasty. We have eaten there several times and the food has always been good. This time we were a bit disappointed.

Mega tasty, decent portions and super friendly service. Enjoying the first rays of sunshine of the year out here was really good. If we are in the area again we will definitely come back here.

The food tastes very good. Service is polite and quick. The food was ready very quickly. Sauces are homemade. Breaded schnitzel yourself. Salad dressing also own creation. That's how I imagine good gastronomy should be. We would be happy to come back and recommend the Wildhof to everyone!

Beautifully located forest restaurant, friendly service, but a 19 EUR schnitzel from the deep fryer and warmed-up mushy fried potatoes, no no, there's a lot of room for improvement. After all, green sauce was good, but not yet tasty. For the price I expect the opposite of food thrown carelessly on the plate.

Meine Frau und ich waren am 31.01.25 zum Abendessen in dieser sehr schönen und gut gelegenen Gaststätte ( Wildhof ) unser Abendessen Vorspeise Garnelen in Knoblauch Soße mit Rucola Salat, Hauptspeise Hirschmedaillons mit Waldpilzsauce und Katoffelplätzchen. Räucherlachs mit Kartoffelpuffer und Senfdillsauce. Das Essen war Perfekt zubereitet und Geschmacklich Nicht gut sondern Perfekt. !!! Die Bedienung Freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir werden diese Lokalität sehr gerne und mit gutem Gewissen weiter Empfehlen und jetzt Wöchentlich einmal besuchen. Hat sich gelohnt jetzt das zweite mal hier diese Gastlichkeit zu besuchen. There's not much to say, get advice and service from the very friendly and competent service, enjoy the very good food and just switch off in the cozy restaurant. Highly recommended!!

We stopped here today with the hiking group and were warmly welcomed. The cake slices were huge and delicious. The Wildhof hand cheese with mustard sauce is very tasty. The beer for 5.20 euros is a bit expensive.

We were there last week for the Christmas party. We were 10 people. It was around 7 p.m. and it was still very loud because it was really full. It was not possible to have a conversation across the table, which makes me personally very uncomfortable. The pumpkin cream soup beforehand was excellent. The cordon bleu was large and with plenty of cheese. So far everything is ok. But the service wasn't up to scratch at all. We often sat in front of empty glasses and had to beg for drinks. What was funny was that it was almost empty after 9 p.m. and then it was good to talk (and especially hear). When we left just after 10 p.m., we were the last ones. That doesn't happen very often (well, it was Tuesday evening and maybe they all had to work Wednesday morning). Next time I wouldn't come until 8.30 p.m....the spelling on this page is terrible. Is that Google or the Wildhof???

Very good fresh food, very nice and attentive service. We are annoyed that we didn't come here sooner. We'll be back, soon. The menu is tempting and varied, even vegetarians will find very tasty dishes.

Very good Cordon Bleu. Beautiful location in the countryside. The fireplace heated the room well. It's also romantic and we would visit the place again.

Two things were extremely negative. 1. Quality of the dishes or sauces. For us, we had 2 different schnitzel dishes that tasted like sauce. There is no taste of cream in Rahmschnitzel. 2. We were at a meeting with wheelchair users at the college. The small ramp outside is commendable. It is even more incomprehensible why there is no ramp on the way to the college at the next level. When asked about this, the lady said: “The level isn’t high.” This is underground and outrageous. I estimate the step to be 15cm high. There will be no further visit. Oh, if the operator answers here that you can also enter the college from the back via the yard... just push a wheelchair over unpaved paths with mud and gravel.

Friendly and attentive service. Prices acceptable. Unfortunately, the chef obviously wasn't having his best day: red cabbage was completely over-salted, cordon bleu was crispy on top but black on the bottom. We've had better...

We have been going to the Wildhof restaurant often for years and have made reservations there for a variety of occasions. The staff is attentive, quick and hardworking and always friendly. The menu offers a variety of Hessian and German dishes. There are also individual dishes for vegetarians. If desired, seniors can receive smaller portions at a reduced price. The food is always good, only the Linsenthaler was very greasy last time. The portions are normal and nicely prepared. There are homemade cakes, e.g. E.g. cheese-yoghurt cake with poppy seeds, classic cheesecake and pumpkin cheesecake. The offer changes. The atmosphere is rustic but bright and friendly. In summer you can sit outside on the terrace and in the courtyard. We always like to come back.

A quaint inn with great food! We each ordered 2x schnitzel and the pork loin with spaetzle. The entire meal and the hunter sauce for the schnitzel were great. Nice crowd and the service does a good job, the customer is valued here.

The two of us were there for dinner. In terms of price performance, the restaurant can easily keep up with the big ones. What we didn't like at all and almost made us leave is that one dog after another was led past and past. When a group of four people, each with a dog, sat down next to us, we had enough. Luckily the dogs were quiet, although you could smell them. The whole thing was more reminiscent of an animal shelter than a restaurant. I like dogs, but animals have no place in a restaurant.

We were there on Mother's Day and didn't have a reservation, but we still got a nice seat 😀. The food is very tasty and beautifully prepared, the portions are as they should be. Elsewhere you get a mini bowl of green sauce (which really annoys me), but here you get a reasonable portion with the Frankfurter Schnitzel. The dessert was to die for. The prices are normal. Very good chef, an attentive and friendly staff, the interior and outdoor area has been beautifully renovated, therefore ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

As a small group of eight people, we came to the restaurant late on Sunday lunchtime, where one of the waitresses greeted us with a bitter expression on her face - and her mood (and also her attentiveness) did not improve over the course of the sunny Sunday. Otherwise the service was just mediocre. He wasn't particularly attentive, even though our service was much friendlier than the waitress at the beginning. (If you stand at the counter for five minutes to order something and you are simply overlooked during those five minutes, that does not indicate a particular customer focus.) There was a colorful mix of food: from lamb's lettuce with bacon and pumpkin soup as a starter, to Wiener Schnitzel, Frankfurter Schnitzel, baked potatoes and game goulash as the main course, to crème brûlée and apple strudel as dessert. The starters were good, even if the pumpkin soup could have been a little thicker. The side salads were okay, but could have used a little more creativity and a tastier dressing. The schnitzels were good and tasty, both veal and pork, and the quality of the food was good. However, the mushrooms that came with the baked potato were very salty - well, you're happy when the cook is in love. The sauce of the game goulash was clearly spiced; There was nothing left of the taste of game but anticipation. The dessert, in turn, was praised by everyone. The portions are good and sufficient. The “small portions” that you can order for Wiener Schnitzel, for example, are also sufficiently large. Overall, the conclusion is that in the beautiful ambience you can improve both the quality of the food and the service to be recommended.

We have been to this cozy restaurant several times because we have a dog who is always welcome! The food was always good and plentiful and the serving staff were always friendly and quick, no matter in the restaurant or in the garden!

Rustic atmosphere, friendly service, but the actual reason for the visit, namely to get full, was simply neglected by our entire table. Everyone had chosen schnitzel of different types, unfortunately the only big thing was the price. Nowadays no one expects the meat to hang over the edge of the plate, but it should still be visible between the breading. Yes, the edge of the plate belongs to the guest, but the inside of the plate can certainly be filled, as we are not serving star cuisine, but rather good, home-style cuisine. The filling side dish didn't deserve the name either. We probably had to save on this too so that the schnitzels didn't look too small next to them. I don't even want to know what the senior portions look like. Tastes good, but the price-performance ratio is poor today.

Delicious food - ideal for summer as you can sit outside. Unfortunately there were a few staff that evening (although the staff were very friendly despite there being too many guests) but the "construction site" was very dry at times :p) good bourgeois inside. Absolutely recommended.

I wanted a fried egg on my Frankfurter Schnitzel, but I was told that there were no special requests, which I thought was a shame. We also had to wait 15 minutes for the waitress, who told us "I'll be right there to order food."

The food was on the table so quickly. The pasta was very watery and the mushrooms unfortunately came from a can. I've eaten it before many years ago, there's no comparison.

Nice location outside, predominantly older audience, who are addressed here and there as "Schatzi"; Lately there are apparently too few staff, so that the service seems annoyed, the food is sensory good, the quantity is almost outrageously low given the prices quoted (pork loin as well Pepper sauce with rosemary potatoes: 3 manageable pieces of meat and exactly one (!) small to medium-sized potato for 17 euros, without a side salad). Stinginess is not cool.

The meat is tough, the spaetzle comes out of a bag, everything is overpriced. Although there were certainly enough operating staff there, the wait was long. The bare tables (outside) can no longer be cleaned, the menu, a kind of writing pad, is tattered. Game dishes are hardly ever on offer. For me it was disappointing.

We enjoy visiting this particularly beautifully located establishment on a regular basis. In summer you can enjoy the beer garden to the fullest. Price performance is absolutely fair. Unfortunately, the service often seems stressed and annoyed. Otherwise there is never anything to complain about.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding here. We love this place! It has great food, fast and professional, but exceptionally kind service. Even when the place is packed, you never have a long wait. Large outside seating area, partly under old chestnut trees. Ample parking space.

What wonderful times those were at the Gasthaus Wildhof...We always enjoyed being there, be it with family or friends. The last time we reserved a table was for my mother's birthday. The food was again very tasty and worth every euro...the service was a bit overwhelmed but nice. Now comes the kicker: We wanted to make a reservation again, unfortunately a sad occasion. Coffee and cake for 20 people. Answer managing director/owner/leader? He doesn't do that, he would earn practically nothing from it...1€ per piece of cake...We're welcome to come and eat. I've never experienced anything so tasteless...he also held back condolences. Wow direct hit!
