It used to be better. The service was overwhelmed, the liver dumpling soup was too spicy/salty, the roast wasn't really hot anymore....the atmosphere was okay, and the prices were...

The food was very good and lovingly presented on the plates. Excellent Franconian cuisine, that's for sure. The decor is still quite traditional, not quite my style. But they tried to lighten the somewhat dark atmosphere caused by the heavy, dark wood by placing plants between the tables. The staff was friendly.

The food is always delicious. The portions are more than ample. The staff is friendly. The ambiance is fine.

We've been there five times now. The staff are super friendly and very flexible...even in the rain, we were allowed into the beer garden, and the friendly staff served us with umbrellas. The food is truly delicious and beautifully presented. You can tell the chef loves his job 🙂 Highly recommended.

Excellent cuisine at a fair price!

I've eaten there three times already and was always unlucky; the food was always cold when it arrived. Today I tried again, but this time for takeout. The portion was ridiculous, and I've never eaten a creamed schnitzel with breaded schnitzel and only five mini croquettes in a restaurant before. I'm truly amazed how a place like that can stay afloat.

I've eaten there several times. The food was good, whether roast or schnitzel. The staff was friendly. The value for money was also good. Ample parking is available.

We stopped there for lunch. The restaurant wasn't very busy. The very dark dining room, some of which still had Christmas decorations hanging, didn't seem very inviting next to the rest of the decor, which was inappropriately wild and colorful. The wait for the food was relatively long due to the lack of capacity; the first person was almost finished by the time the last one got theirs. Some of the food was very dry and poorly presented, apart from the frozen fries and croquettes. The service was friendly but unfortunately not very competent. For example, when bringing the food, she tapped us several times and stood silently behind the person instead of serving the plate. During the meal, we were also asked whether we were paying "together or separately." At the end, we were asked to count the change she had left, with the comment, "I'm not good at math," which wasn't a problem for us, but the situation could have been handled more charmingly.

Good food with large portions. EC payments are not accepted. Unfortunately, the ambiance is stuck in 20 years. The service was very attentive but overwhelmed, so I had to wait a long time for dessert. Parking is available right next door.

The food was good, reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was nice and rustic. The staff was very friendly. The only downside was that our food arrived very late, and we couldn't eat together.

In any case, you should reserve a table as the guesthouse is well attended

Very tasty food, especially the Schäufele. The staff is very nice and really on the ball. What's not so good and I never order again is the coffee or latte. They are not edible. I always enjoy coming back Unfortunately I have to reduce my rating from 5 stars to 1. Today on Mother's Day we went out to dinner with several people. The table was reserved at 1 a.m. The first meal came at 2:40 p.m., a very long wait. Then the cutlery was forgotten, so another few minutes passed before you could eat. Then the other meals arrived one by one, by now it was 3 p.m. We ordered 3 Schäufele, which I actually found to be very good in the first review. But today you couldn't eat it. The meat smelled funny and it tasted like it smelled. Last but not least, my mother, who we invited, didn't get any food until 3:20 p.m. That was simply forgotten. There was no apology from the waitress. The inedible food was not addressed. It was said, I'll put it in the kitchen. My mother had to go without lunch on Mother's Day because we didn't have any longer. Of course the bill had to be paid in full. I would have expected an apology for the lack of food. Dear restaurateur...if you are overwhelmed, then don't take on so many guests. This is how you can screw up your business. We won't be coming back for a long time and will look for another restaurant

A disaster! Waited over 1.5 hours for food. One person didn't get their food at all, even though a waitress kept walking past the table and saw that a person was sitting there without food (the food didn't come until the end). Cutlery wasn't available either. When I asked, it wasn't until my food was finally at the table that the waiter handed me a knife and fork. The service there is overwhelmed and disorganized. Unfortunately, you can feel this atmosphere. No excuse for forgetting food. After we had to wait another 20 minutes for the bill and no one came, we paid in the restaurant. We were in the restaurant between 1:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Most of the guests had already finished eating or were about to leave. So it couldn't have been due to stress but rather due to the disastrous organization. We had this negative experience not only at our table, which we have never experienced before. At another table we also saw a woman having to eat her food alone for the first time because the rest of the food was served 30 minutes later.

Finally a real schnitzel again. The sauerbraten was also super tasty. We can only recommend this kitchen. The ambience could still be worked on. Friendly service and fair prices round off the evening.

Huge portions at decent prices. And then everything tastes very delicious. Franconia can be experienced in an impressive and tasty way here. The decor is a bit too kitschy for my taste: it may be because Easter is approaching, but almost every free space is occupied by deer, foxes, rabbits, butterflies, etc. Overall, it's fine, but it doesn't suit my taste. There's nothing to complain about in terms of service, quick ordering, and also praise to the kitchen: we barely had to wait 10 minutes for the food. So the conclusion of the franc is the highest nobility: “basst scho”

Went to dinner for the first time today and absolutely loved it. Super tasty food and really good portions. The service was really on point and we got our food quite quickly. The sauerbraten is a real recommendation. We'd love to come back.

Can the z.t. Can't understand the mixed reviews at all. The service was extremely friendly and tried very hard. The food (pepper cream schnitzel and Kaiserschmarn) were brilliant. The others also enjoyed the food very much without exception. Can recommend the inn without reservation.

Wow - an absolutely culinary success evening. I was skeptical at first because we hear so many negative things about the economy. But none of the rumors are true. Very courteous, friendly service, the dishes we ordered were excellently prepared, the sauce came extra - not just slapped on the plate like elsewhere (they put some thought into it in the kitchen). It was prepared great, the portions were huge. Everything tasted great, not too salty or over-seasoned. Fresh, crunchy side salad. The wait for the food was a bit long, but I think there were few staff in the kitchen. Very reasonably priced considering the portions. A little tip: Braumeisterschnitzel is impossible for a normal eater. And all the other schnitzel variants are also very filling. In terms of ambience, I have to deduct 1 star because the “decoration” was simply too much. Far too cluttered with lamps, candles, pictures. Well, it's a matter of taste, it's not mine. But this is about food. And that was absolutely outstanding. No idea which Moosing the critics were in - certainly not there. So carry on like you did today. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for everything.

The Gasthaus Mosing is an inn and beer garden with good home cooking. Food: Due to staff shortages, the menu was limited during our visit. There were only two vegetarian dishes: the Käsespätzle and the Pizza Margharita. The cheese spaetzle for €9.90 was really plentiful, tasted great and was served with a side salad. The apple fritters were also very tasty. Good value for money. Service: Nice service, but we had to wait 75 minutes for our food due to a lack of staff. This should be communicated to guests in advance. The service staff was also sometimes confused and could no longer assign orders correctly. Ambiance: Nice ambience in the beer garden, under the trees and on the hillside. The seating is comfortable.

Visited you today for the first time. I have to say it was just great 👍 a beautiful beer garden, great mixed music and the food was simply great, new favorite restaurant 😁

Today for the first time in about 30 years there to eat a pepper cream schnitzel. We were absolutely surprised by the food because we now go around without any pretensions... In short - the schnitzel, the sauce and fries, TOP. The view around other guests was also visually very good. Price absolutely ok! Will eat one again. Oh one more thing, the pepper cream including the spiciness was great!

We were in the beer garden on Sunday lunchtime, the nice and pretty service gave us a very friendly welcome and gave us very good advice, the food was great, we were very satisfied, we'll be back soon,

I was only there once and it was a positive experience, the varied selection and food as well as the hospitality of the staff is simply pricelessly outstanding. You should definitely recommend this place, especially with such an excellent meal it's hard to complain. Huge praise!

Wow! Just wow. The food is always excellent and you never go home with an empty stomach. The service is very nice and accommodating. The beer garden is a 10/10. Such a beautiful place is hard to find. Then the relaxed music is just great. If you live in the Bayreuth area and haven't been to Moosing yet, you're missing out. I can only recommend !

It couldn't be better🤩! We've eaten out 4 times now and every time it's been close to perfect. We all like the menu because there is always something for everyone. The price-performance ratio is also good. When it comes to service you can't say anything other than perfect, always friendly and open to questions. You're welcome to leave a tip😃. I also like the ambience, it goes well with the location in which the inn is located. I tried the sauerbraten on my last visit. I can only recommend it😇!

Very good food in a nice rustic atmosphere within the restaurant. Plenty of portions and good value for money. Addendum: In the beer garden, which is actually very nice, there is piping hot beer, even after complaints we were unable to bring a cold beer to the table. The taste of the food had deteriorated significantly. Nobody wants to drink a warm beer when it's 30 degrees! Absolute no-go. The waitresses can't do arithmetic and you have to tell them what you get back. Terrible!

Very nice beer garden and nice service, gladly again. And even if it's full, we're happy to wait for the delicious schnitzel (because people complained about the wait). If you can't make it, you're doing something wrong in the beer garden and should perhaps go to McDonald's.

We come here once a month for a regular's table... the waiters are friendly, but sometimes a little uncoordinated when several people order food... so it could be that the person who comes last gets the food first... or it doesn't come at all. Otherwise the food tastes quite good...and the portions fill you up.

We have felt very comfortable here. Hospitality was great. Everyone enjoyed it excellently. The menu was appealing, there was something for everyone. We found the prices justified. Food was ok and nothing special. Some salad ingredients were unusual. The potato croquettes and the like were good but frozen goods. Service is ok and still requires a bit of organization. 2 plates could not be cleared at the same time. The atmosphere is rather old and there is far too much botany and decoration around. Cash ONLY is not 2024 but 1995.

Were here for lunch with several people. It is definitely worth mentioning that you should make a reservation in advance, as this restaurant is very busy on Sunday lunchtime. The food is okay, but not really anything special. The price is a bit too expensive for what you get. Unfortunately, service was a major point of criticism for me...some of them had waitresses who obviously didn't understand German and were therefore overwhelmed. Something like that should be avoided. It is not yet clear whether there will be another visit.

Wollten da Abendessen sind aber danach wieder gegangen da wir nicht soviel Bargeld dabei hatten das wir nicht mit Karte bezahlen konnten in der heutigen Zeit ein wenig zurück in Sachen bezahlen hätten es gerne ausprobiert schade

Das Essen da ist immer ein Vergnügen!! Jedes mal, dass wir da waren, haben wir was anders bestellt. Immer war das Essen soooo lecker. Und das Personal immer sehr freundlich!! Danke!! Wir kommen immer so gern wieder und wieder und wieder!!!

Gedigenes Landgasthaus mit Biergärten, GUT & GÜNSTIG

Schöner und überschaubarer Biergarten. Freundliche Bedienung, leckeres Schnitzel was auch sehr schön angerichtet war (dafür warte ich sehr gerne!) und Hunde sind offensichtlich auch willkommen! Was will man mehr? Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren oft und gerne im Gasthaus. Das Essen gut und reichlich vor allem die nette Bedienung (aus Polen?) immer freundlich und auf Zack und vor allem mit Überblick. Seit der Biergarten eröffnet ist, die männliche Bedienung da ist, nur noch Stress. Ständig hört man" ich bin alleine, ich habe nur zwei Hände" ich komme gleich, einer nach dem anderen" usw. Man fühlt sich als Störenfried. Diese nervöse Gewusel macht keinen Spaß. Wenn das Personal in die Küche laufen muss um zu fragen, was auf der Brotzeitplatte ist, zwei Tischen mit jeweils 2 Personen nicht gleichzeitig die Getränke aufnehmen kann um sich Wege zu sparen, dann hat es seine Hausaufgabe nicht gemacht. Schade, aber wir kommen nicht wieder.

"Durch und durch begeistert", so und nicht anders kann ich den Besuch in diesem Lokal beschreiben. Die Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit des jungen Mannes und das Essen hat mich total begeistert. Die Gastwirtschaft ist gut mit dem Rollator zu befahren und auch im gemütlichen Biergarten gibt es keine grössere Behinderung. Voll zu empfehlen. (Ich war in Bayreuth zur Reha)

Der gesamte Außenbereich war leider sehr schmutzig, der Service schnell und teils teils freundlich. Die Portionen sind relativ überschaubar und haben geschmacklich deutliche Luft nach oben. Alles in allem gerade so „ok“

Eine sehr urig eingereichte Gaststube und freundlicher Service zeichnen das Gasthaus aus. Am Abend verwandelt sich das Gasthaus in ein griechisches Restaurant. Aufgrund der relativ hohen Preise und kleinen Klöße kann ich leider keine 5 Sterne geben.
