Unfortunately we were very disappointed 😞, the burgers were the "saddest" poorly presented and not really the tastiest that we ate and for the money. Carelessly put together, a slice of cucumber, a slice of tomato, you literally had to look for the cheese, you couldn't taste it at all, it was mixed with a bit of lettuce... that was it, totally dry, only a bit of sauce under the 2 slices of vegetables .....we expected more for the price and unfortunately it doesn't compare at all with the ones in the pictures. The service was very nice but it took a long time for drinks to arrive and then it was wrong, people were drinking, otherwise you would have had to wait again...

Very friendly, child-friendly staff. The menu is wonderful for small and large appetites.

If I could, I wouldn't give a single star! After sitting around for 33 minutes, being ignored and SEVERAL waitresses walking past us several times, we left the store. This has happened 3 times now. Absolute disaster!!!

Very nice atmosphere, child-friendly portions at a very good price. Service was excellent, not intrusive but always tried hard. Portion sizes are very well balanced and the taste is also very tasty and attractively draped. We will definitely come back when we are nearby.

I reserved a table for 12 people. Wanted to celebrate my big birthday with my family. I have never experienced such bad service. There were no tables put together, we had to do it ourselves. The service only came once to take drinks and food. They didn't even ask if anything was needed or if everything was OK. My 4-year-old granddaughter ordered her own ice cream at the counter. I also ordered our cocktails myself at the counter. The dishes were not cleared away. You won't see us there again. Am very disappointed.

We've been there for breakfast for a long time - we were totally impressed - the service was top (that wasn't often the case in the past) and the buffet was always filled up quickly, everything was fresh and tasty, the price was great - I hope it stays that way!

I occasionally stop at Cafe del Sol because it is very close to the Bayreuth Nord motorway exit and there are plenty of free parking spaces available. E-car drivers have the special advantage that 20 Superchargers up to 250 kW from Tesla are virtually directly opposite. The waitresses are always friendly and the food is very good. Due to the spacious area, you can always find a seat. Keep it up!

Food was very good. Unfortunately service was non-existent. People just looked at their cell phones and ignored the guests. Several people wanted to order or pay the bill. We waited about 35 minutes until we were “allowed” to pay.

We made a charging stop, the waitresses were very friendly, I found it unusual to be served by three different people, the place wasn't even a third full. The food was okay, I expected something different from the pinsa and it was cold, I think the bases are delivered ready and just topped. Otherwise everything was good.

The waitresses are anything but nice. Once and never again. Plums at guests and there is internal gossip about guests. Never experienced anything so cheeky. The boss should “clean out” things properly. In addition, the prices are extremely high.

The ambience of the café is really nice, the menu is varied. Prices for this are beyond good and evil. 0.75L Gerolsteiner, for example, is offered for an inexpensive €8... I shared the Avocado Armore pizza with my girlfriend as a starter, but unfortunately it wasn't much bigger than shown in the photo for €15. A piece of cake for €8 doesn't make things any better. I would still like to praise the staff, here the customer is treated in a friendly and timely manner.

Located right next to the electric car charging station. We ordered on the go and when we arrived our food was ready. No waiting time. We really liked that. We'll be back.

Some items are no longer refilled after 12 p.m. The high price of the brunch is due to the warm lunch, but unfortunately the warm dishes were very sorted out and empty for the last hour. Pasta was already out at 12:10 p.m. and was not refilled even when asked. Really a problem for our larger group with some children. A disgrace for the price.

Great ambience. The food (schnitzel holiday) was delicious and cheap. Our special requests - little or no fries and more salad - were responded to very well. The staff was very friendly and cool. If we're in the area again while passing through, we'll definitely come back!

Were here as a couple for Sunday brunch. The selection of warm dishes was small and not that convincing. Very child-friendly in taste. However, the price for the buffet did not include drinks, not even simple coffee, tea or juices. This of course drove up the total price per person. So we had to pay €40 per person. This makes the whole thing too expensive and doesn't necessarily make you want to come back.

It's a mystery to me that so many guests still come there. The well-known pizzas are no longer available, instead there is a slimmed down version called “Pinsa” which doesn’t score any points in terms of taste and tastes very much like frozen goods. After we were given a seat and we waited about 10 minutes for the service, she asked us to change the seat because it was already reserved. We were then given a new table that was full of crumbs and we waited another 15 minutes until we could order. There was also no cutlery available.

Highly recommended as a stopover on the way through! We've been here several times, it's almost become a ritual. The order went super quickly today. The service is very friendly, the food and the homemade lemonade and iced tea are delicious and the atmosphere is very inviting. The hummus falafel fries were great. Dogs are allowed here and in summer a water bowl was brought to us directly. :) The only negative point was the Pinsa in spring/summer 2024, it looked very much like a finished product and was very hard ,otherwise clear recommendation!

Went there again yesterday and was extremely disappointed again! A burger with sweet potato fries was ordered. Burnt, black fries were brought with a loveless frozen burger. Cold, untoasted brioch roll, 1x cucumber, x1x tomato, some sauce and a loveless patty. They wanted over 20 euros for this. Fries were returned, which the waitress was sorry about but should never have left the kitchen. I ate the burger because I was hungry. Cafe del Sol..... never ever! The golden seagull would get a Michelin 🌟 from me but Rossin or Rach should come here! Sorry

The restaurant looks inviting from the outside, but some of the tables and cutlery are dirty and unhygienic. The prices are way too high, you get a mini portion. The employees have been trained to always ask whether they are together or separately, even if a parent is sitting at the table with their underage child

Mein Besuch im Cafe Del Sol war sehr lecker (ich hatte einen BBQ Burger mit Pommes). Die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Allein die Atmosphäre ist einen Besuch wert. Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal.

On our drive home after visiting Gigafactory Berlin with Tesla Owners Switzerland 🇨🇭 we decided to have lunch at Café Del Sol in Bayreuth. The decision was spot on! The service was very nice and attentive. Particularly noteworthy was the currywurst, which was super tasty, and we also really enjoyed the schnitzel. The covered terrace with lots of shade was simply awesome and offered a perfect opportunity to relax. Another plus point is that the entire café is wheelchair accessible, which we were very pleased about. We would love to come back and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We reserved a table for breakfast on December 30th, 2023. When we arrived there was no hello or how can you help, just a nerf, we're closing straight away even though the restaurant was full! Apparently there was no food delivery, but at the same time two other waiters walked past us with breakfast! So we went somewhere else for breakfast, when we drove past again 2 hours later the restaurant was still open🤬. Apart from the fact that we arrived with two cars and each had a one-way journey of around 35km, it was the worst service we have ever had. NOT LIKE THAT!

It's almost a bit incomprehensible that there are also many negative reviews. We thought it was great!

As Tesla drivers, we were happy to find this beautiful restaurant within walking distance. Modern and young with music in the background, a great, large indoor bar with plenty of seating, but also a great covered terrace with a view of the parking lot. The selection on the menu was plentiful, and the staff were quick and polite. Only the pinsa, which could be cut with scissors, which we laughed about, seemed like it was frozen food. Taste good but not a highlight.

It may be nice and tasty, but a bottle of large mineral water for over €8 is too much! The service couldn't keep up with the customers. The men were very distracted. The taste of iced coffee would be good if it weren't for the fact that the whipped cream curdled at over 35 degrees!

Usury!!! Currywurst sauce just Hela ketchup from the tube portions far too small price performance is not right at all Schnitzel the same way too expensive for a ready-made schnitzel once and never again!!!!

Overall a top restaurant. The food tastes very good. I can recommend the Chicken Avocado Fries to everyone. The hand is very supple and the sauce goes perfectly with it. Unfortunately, it happens that you have to wait longer for the food because not all orders have been recorded :(

Die Pinsa hat lecker geschmeckt und war vom Preis her halbwegs abgemessen. Leider sind die Getränke völlig überteuert (1 Flasche San Pellegrino, 0,75 l, 8,10 €) und die Bedienung hat nach einer Stunde, die wir vor unseren leeren Gläsern der ersten Getränkerunde saßen, gefragt, ob sie die leeren Gläser abräumen kann, anstatt noch etwas zum Trinken anzubieten. Insgesamt viel zu hohe Preise bei schlechtem Service. Schade, wir hatten uns mehr erwartet.

We had dinner there yesterday with our company. The burgers were dry and overly expensive. The schnitzels and bowls are definitely not worth the price either. I paid around €20 for a Thai bowl with additional shrimp. Very poorly delivered, I have to say that the only thing that worked was the fries. But you have to pay extra for it with almost every meal.

The food is not worth the money for my taste. Nothing was freshly made, the cocktails were warm, the service took forever for everything. We won't be coming back any time soon.

I recommend Café del Sol to friends and acquaintances because I really enjoyed it there. The food was excellent and the drinks were also very tasty. Although there wasn't much going on on the day we visited, we had to keep drawing the waiter's attention to our table. We would definitely have drunk more and we would have eaten more often. I think the atmosphere is very nice.

Hello, We were on the way to Salzburg with 8 people. Stopover at the Supercharger Bayreut Nord. Service, ambience and lunch were top notch. I've rarely eaten so well on the highway!

I recently had a burger...it was lukewarm and with normal pickles...really not a hit. 4 stars because the service staff are very nice.

Cafe Del Sol never again. Today we were on the beautiful terrace in the beautiful weather. We couldn't order food for over half an hour even though we made our presence known. We were just told it would be passed on to the colleague. The gentleman next to us was served immediately. Since no one came to us, we left the restaurant. One star because zero stars don't exist!!

We were very satisfied with our spontaneous visit yesterday - starting with the service, which was very nice and attentive. The food came very quickly and was very tasty, a sufficient portion (warm and as pictured) to really fill you up. We chose iced tea as a drink, which really gave us a holiday feeling. Everything was just right for us and we would love to come back.

A beautiful place, super stylish ambience. We've been there several times and we also knew that it wasn't the cheapest place. The food was always good up to that point, but being served a ready-made schnitzel for €18.90 is not possible at all. Sorry, if it's always like this now, I'm not surprised that there isn't as much going on anymore. It's a shame for this place.

Coffee was lukewarm and didn't taste good at all. It tastes better from Senseo. Staff was nice. No visitors, so to speak, on site.

Had dinner there with my work colleagues. The 2 stars are only there because the food tasted good. The noodles that were ordered were lukewarm. A mini bowl of Parmesan costs €1.20. But what we found really bad are the toilets. One with the remains of a toilet user. The other toilet is broken, the next one is also dirty and in the last option the toilet paper holder is broken. The hand dryer was very dirty. Cleanliness and hygiene should also be a priority in the toilets. Dust upon dust everywhere the eye can see. The service ladies were apparently overwhelmed. Taking the order took a very long time. We cleared the cards off the table ourselves. Sorry, but for the money (around €23 per person) that you have to put on the table here, more has to happen here. We would rather spend our money elsewhere. We don't go here anymore. It's a shame, because it was a good place a while ago.

It was just a short rest, we drank a delicious cappuchino. The ambience outside and inside feels very cozy, exactly what you need after a long car journey. Thanks to the Tesla charging station, we ended up here and will happily go to Café del Sol again at every opportunity! Because… the menu promises complete enjoyment ;-))

I go there with friends every now and then at different times, the best time being in the afternoon or evening. So far we have always gotten a good place and the staff is always very friendly (there are exceptions but fortunately that is rarely the case) and nice. The ambience makes a cozy impression and you can easily stay there for longer. I can't say anything negative about the taste or portions, we always enjoyed it and were full. The price has already increased, but today you don't pay more when you go out to eat/drink somewhere. There is a star deduction for the toilets, as you can clean them 1-2 times more often a day or check whether everything is OK.

First of all: the food tasted good, the staff was very nice. Taking the order could have been quicker, but it was okay. The big problem was - and this was the second time - that the food was lukewarm at best. I accepted that on our first visit, but by then it was getting cold after the time it took to eat. But I noted this when paying. Today I had it returned. This was accepted without any problem. The next load was at least "good warm", not hot, but acceptable. At least just about. That's why the restaurant only gets two stars from me. The potential for four is there, but I don't think there will be a third chance. The reasons ranged from "It's because of the cold burger buns" to "the only two colleagues in the kitchen are new". It may be anything, but a chef who serves lukewarm food - and always seems to do so - has probably missed his job. And ultimately I don't care why it is like that, because it shouldn't be like that. Especially not with the prices that are quoted there. Maybe others will have better luck.

I don't know why, but I always eat the penne honey there... I just love it. That's why I can't say anything about the other dishes now. I think the prices are ok, except for the drinks...excessively expensive. Very cozy and the staff friendly and attentive. Won't be the last visit. Update: After a good year, Penne Honey is called ...Pennen Spezia and it feels like there is less and less on the plate, so the children's portion is more in comparison.....so dear people, it shouldn't fail because of the 10 more noodles , you should be full for the money.

7.4€ for a bottle of still water... Loaded Fries loveless and dry. Not recommendable!
