I was eating there yesterday with a friend. We were really looking forward to the burger. Unfortunately we discovered that it was actually a frozen ready-made patty, which for €9.50 without fries is really a disgrace and the extra fries cost €2.90. We were expecting super tasty food but it's just yucky on the outside and yuck on the inside. Only frozen food that has already been trimmed just doesn't taste good and the price is a disgrace last visit from us.

We discovered Café del Sol while passing through and spontaneously stopped in here with a total of 12 people. Since it was lunchtime and a holiday, we found space without any problems. We were served friendly and quickly. The food offered was good and reasonably priced. We would like to stop here again on our next trip. Clear recommendation!

Very nice employees. We felt very comfortable. Good location near the electric car charging station. Our food and the selection were great, but the salad dressing was sugary and a greasy mess. Unfortunately, the music was too loud in the dining room, it echoed a lot. We'd love to come back at our next stop. Thank you!

I can recommend everyone to make a stop here. From pizzas 🍕 to pasta 🍝 to delicious 😋 high-quality burgers 🍔, there is everything your heart desires. And at absolutely fair prices. The restaurant itself is a feast for the eyes. An absolute recommendation.

Food below average. Fast food is better. Prices are absolutely not justified. Simply a disgrace for this price. It's gone really bad and very poor service.

The food tasted very good, but the portions were too small for the prices and there were not enough of the expensive components. In my case almost only tomatoes, hardly any feta. Unfortunately we waited quite a long time for food even though only 10% of the tables were occupied.

I usually come here just for the Schnitzel del Sol, because I like it so much. For dessert, I recommend the Mascarpone Crunch.

As always, very tasty breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, I can't recommend brunch. Both lunch dishes were only lukewarm and not really my taste. But the Saturday buffet is really great.

Spontaneously went to Café del Sol for dinner today. The atmosphere itself is very nice, but it is very dirty, dirt has collected under the tables, and the toilets were very dirty. We ordered burgers. Unfortunately, one burger was ice cold inside, like it was frozen. We complained and a new one was prepared. However, it was the same, the meat was ice cold inside. This is of course very unpleasant. The other burger had arugula, but that was omitted when ordering. As an apology we received 3 hot drinks for free and only had to pay for the cold drinks, which was very nice and accommodating. Thanks to the nice service. But we won't come around anymore. Because that's not how you imagine a cozy evening.

I didn't find anything to complain about. The taste was simply amazing, we had the house bread twice and once with guacamole and that was the best I have ever eaten. The service is also really nice and on the ball. We would be happy to come back here at any time.

A super nice restaurant, especially the service (Selina) was fabulous. Lunch was good and plentiful. The menu offers a lot of choice and the price-performance ratio is good.

Unfortunately I can only confirm that the service needs to be improved. Despite there being very little activity, it took a very long time for the food to arrive... and instead of a small pinsa, a large one arrived, the burger came with arugula even though it was explicitly ordered without it. When I dared to draw attention to myself to pay, I was kindly pointed out that there were more tables here. Correct, but 3/4 of them were empty. The food was average at best and overpriced in my opinion. Overall, it's not worth repeating and unfortunately, despite the relatively large number of negative reviews, there is no apparent effort to improve the situation on site.

Service super slow and unfriendly.

The fun of the meal was limited after we waited a total of almost 1 1/2 hours for the starter and main course and discovered that the inside of the lasagna was cold and sticky. Likewise, the meat of the burger was very questionable. We immediately thought of frozen patties. But not the good option. More like cheap, stretched ones. It was very reminiscent of accidentally eating candy wrappers. Chewy, sinewy and difficult to even chew. The waitress clearly only had sales in mind, but they didn't seem to understand that this was tied to good service. A lady a few tables away had her food returned, got it new and still seemed disgusted. When we asked about the dips, we were only told that it was taking too long to count them all and that this had already happened so many times a day. Just as unpleasant were the prawn starters, some of which still had their intestines in them or feet on them. Compared to the visit in summer 2023, today's was a really bitter disappointment and not recommended. Unfortunately, I really imagined the end of Valentine's Day to end differently. Really a shame.

Disappointing: ordered and paid for fresh orange juice. Received juice from the pack and this was also vehemently defended by the waiter. Buffet was half empty and only very sparsely refilled. Overall, unfortunately too expensive and too poor quality.

In contrast to before, it is absolutely no longer recommended. The taste and consistency of the food was more reminiscent of frozen food, the prawns were served with intestines, the lasagne was still half cold. The service also left a lot to be desired. You had to wait a long time and the service was very unfriendly. However, I have to say that it's not about all the waitresses because there were friendly and accommodating ones. So we will definitely have set foot in there for the last time yesterday, which is a shame because we used to really like it.

Well located rest stop with average food. Gas station and charging stations right there, great! The food is okay, at the level of a good canteen. The service is friendly and quick. Unfortunately it takes a while for the food to arrive, which is unfortunate for a rest stop.

The food was terrible. I was there with a friend and the coffee didn't even taste good, the ready-made coffee tastes better! The food was also terrible, I couldn't even eat it, I had to leave it and now we're both suffering from stomach aches!

It was my first time in this café and I had been wanting to come here for breakfast for 2 1/2 years. We were here on a Saturday morning, so it's understandable that there's a lot to do and a lot going on, but I think it's a shame to neglect your guests because of that. We were asked what we would like to order and we said we would like something from the menu then we were told that this was not possible so we had to use the buffet, okay, we did. The selection of food left a lot to be desired - there was no choice of eggs, only hard boiled ones, although a fresh soft egg in the morning would still have been nice. The spoons in the cereal were so small that it felt like it took 10 minutes to fill a small hand-sized bowl. The so-called smoked salmon also leaves a lot to be desired, it gave me a stomach ache, but apart from that it was also a shame that there was no selection of spices or juices when it is a “buffet”. Nevertheless, the ambience was very nice, the swings at the entrance are definitely a good place to drink a nice, delicious cocktail in the summer.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed 😞, the burgers were the "saddest" poorly presented and not really the tastiest that we ate and for the money. Carelessly put together, a slice of cucumber, a slice of tomato, you literally had to look for the cheese, you couldn't taste it at all, it was mixed with a bit of lettuce... that was it, totally dry, only a bit of sauce under the 2 slices of vegetables .....we expected more for the price and unfortunately it doesn't compare at all with the ones in the pictures. The service was very nice but it took a long time for drinks to arrive and then it was wrong, people were drinking, otherwise you would have had to wait again...

If I could, I wouldn't give a single star! After sitting around for 33 minutes, being ignored and SEVERAL waitresses walking past us several times, we left the store. This has happened 3 times now. Absolute disaster!!!

Good breakfast buffet in a classic Cafe del Sol atmosphere

Very nice atmosphere, child-friendly portions at a very good price. Service was excellent, not intrusive but always tried hard. Portion sizes are very well balanced and the taste is also very tasty and attractively draped. We will definitely come back when we are nearby.

Very large place, I only drank a coffee but I saw that they serve fantastic breakfasts

I reserved a table for 12 people. Wanted to celebrate my big birthday with my family. I have never experienced such bad service. There were no tables put together, we had to do it ourselves. The service only came once to take drinks and food. They didn't even ask if anything was needed or if everything was OK. My 4-year-old granddaughter ordered her own ice cream at the counter. I also ordered our cocktails myself at the counter. The dishes were not cleared away. You won't see us there again. Am very disappointed.

We've been there for breakfast for a long time - we were totally impressed - the service was top (that wasn't often the case in the past) and the buffet was always filled up quickly, everything was fresh and tasty, the price was great - I hope it stays that way!

I occasionally stop at Cafe del Sol because it is very close to the Bayreuth Nord motorway exit and there are plenty of free parking spaces available. E-car drivers have the special advantage that 20 Superchargers up to 250 kW from Tesla are virtually directly opposite. The waitresses are always friendly and the food is very good. Due to the spacious area, you can always find a seat. Keep it up!

Food was very good. Unfortunately service was non-existent. People just looked at their cell phones and ignored the guests. Several people wanted to order or pay the bill. We waited about 35 minutes until we were “allowed” to pay.

We made a charging stop, the waitresses were very friendly, I found it unusual to be served by three different people, the place wasn't even a third full. The food was okay, I expected something different from the pinsa and it was cold, I think the bases are delivered ready and just topped. Otherwise everything was good.

The waitresses are anything but nice. Once and never again. Plums at guests and there is internal gossip about guests. Never experienced anything so cheeky. The boss should “clean out” things properly. In addition, the prices are extremely high.

The ambience of the café is really nice, the menu is varied. Prices for this are beyond good and evil. 0.75L Gerolsteiner, for example, is offered for an inexpensive €8... I shared the Avocado Armore pizza with my girlfriend as a starter, but unfortunately it wasn't much bigger than shown in the photo for €15. A piece of cake for €8 doesn't make things any better. I would still like to praise the staff, here the customer is treated in a friendly and timely manner.

Located right next to the electric car charging station. We ordered on the go and when we arrived our food was ready. No waiting time. We really liked that. We'll be back.

Some items are no longer refilled after 12 p.m. The high price of the brunch is due to the warm lunch, but unfortunately the warm dishes were very sorted out and empty for the last hour. Pasta was already out at 12:10 p.m. and was not refilled even when asked. Really a problem for our larger group with some children. A disgrace for the price.

Great ambience. The food (schnitzel holiday) was delicious and cheap. Our special requests - little or no fries and more salad - were responded to very well. The staff was very friendly and cool. If we're in the area again while passing through, we'll definitely come back!

Were here as a couple for Sunday brunch. The selection of warm dishes was small and not that convincing. Very child-friendly in taste. However, the price for the buffet did not include drinks, not even simple coffee, tea or juices. This of course drove up the total price per person. So we had to pay €40 per person. This makes the whole thing too expensive and doesn't necessarily make you want to come back.

It's a mystery to me that so many guests still come there. The well-known pizzas are no longer available, instead there is a slimmed down version called “Pinsa” which doesn’t score any points in terms of taste and tastes very much like frozen goods. After we were given a seat and we waited about 10 minutes for the service, she asked us to change the seat because it was already reserved. We were then given a new table that was full of crumbs and we waited another 15 minutes until we could order. There was also no cutlery available.

Highly recommended as a stopover on the way through! We've been here several times, it's almost become a ritual. The order went super quickly today. The service is very friendly, the food and the homemade lemonade and iced tea are delicious and the atmosphere is very inviting. The hummus falafel fries were great. Dogs are allowed here and in summer a water bowl was brought to us directly. :) The only negative point was the Pinsa in spring/summer 2024, it looked very much like a finished product and was very hard ,otherwise clear recommendation!

Went there again yesterday and was extremely disappointed again! A burger with sweet potato fries was ordered. Burnt, black fries were brought with a loveless frozen burger. Cold, untoasted brioch roll, 1x cucumber, x1x tomato, some sauce and a loveless patty. They wanted over 20 euros for this. Fries were returned, which the waitress was sorry about but should never have left the kitchen. I ate the burger because I was hungry. Cafe del Sol..... never ever! The golden seagull would get a Michelin 🌟 from me but Rossin or Rach should come here! Sorry

The restaurant looks inviting from the outside, but some of the tables and cutlery are dirty and unhygienic. The prices are way too high, you get a mini portion. The employees have been trained to always ask whether they are together or separately, even if a parent is sitting at the table with their underage child

Mein Besuch im Cafe Del Sol war sehr lecker (ich hatte einen BBQ Burger mit Pommes). Die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Allein die Atmosphäre ist einen Besuch wert. Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal.

Very nice and decent and dogs allowed

On our drive home after visiting Gigafactory Berlin with Tesla Owners Switzerland 🇨🇭 we decided to have lunch at Café Del Sol in Bayreuth. The decision was spot on! The service was very nice and attentive. Particularly noteworthy was the currywurst, which was super tasty, and we also really enjoyed the schnitzel. The covered terrace with lots of shade was simply awesome and offered a perfect opportunity to relax. Another plus point is that the entire café is wheelchair accessible, which we were very pleased about. We would love to come back and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We reserved a table for breakfast on December 30th, 2023. When we arrived there was no hello or how can you help, just a nerf, we're closing straight away even though the restaurant was full! Apparently there was no food delivery, but at the same time two other waiters walked past us with breakfast! So we went somewhere else for breakfast, when we drove past again 2 hours later the restaurant was still open🤬. Apart from the fact that we arrived with two cars and each had a one-way journey of around 35km, it was the worst service we have ever had. NOT LIKE THAT!

As Tesla drivers, we were happy to find this beautiful restaurant within walking distance. Modern and young with music in the background, a great, large indoor bar with plenty of seating, but also a great covered terrace with a view of the parking lot. The selection on the menu was plentiful, and the staff were quick and polite. Only the pinsa, which could be cut with scissors, which we laughed about, seemed like it was frozen food. Taste good but not a highlight.

It may be nice and tasty, but a bottle of large mineral water for over €8 is too much! The service couldn't keep up with the customers. The men were very distracted. The taste of iced coffee would be good if it weren't for the fact that the whipped cream curdled at over 35 degrees!

Usury!!! Currywurst sauce just Hela ketchup from the tube portions far too small price performance is not right at all Schnitzel the same way too expensive for a ready-made schnitzel once and never again!!!!

Overall a top restaurant. The food tastes very good. I can recommend the Chicken Avocado Fries to everyone. The hand is very supple and the sauce goes perfectly with it. Unfortunately, it happens that you have to wait longer for the food because not all orders have been recorded :(
