Gasthaus Hirsch in Schwäbisch Gmünd

Today, we went to the Mömax Restaurant for breakfast as a group of five adults and four young children (1-2 years old). Since it has a play area, we assumed it was a child-friendly restaurant. Unfortunately, we felt very uncomfortable: Several guests – mostly seniors – constantly complained about the children, even though they were just playing. They shook their heads, provoked us, and even told us the children should be quieter. The atmosphere was very demeaning and ostracizing. We had the strong feeling that this wasn't just about the children, but was also motivated by xenophobia. We would have appreciated more support from the staff. In a restaurant with a play area, it should be natural for children to be loud sometimes. Unfortunately, no one from the staff said anything about it or clarified that children are welcome. We've always enjoyed coming here, but after this experience, we feel discriminated against and excluded. It's a shame, because Mömax is supposed to be a place for families.

I don't know what the others are saying, but the pizza and delivery service is really good.

I was extremely disappointed. The noodles (I wouldn't call them Spätzle) were completely tasteless. I immediately pointed this out. I was given salt, so at least the food had some flavor. This is definitely not what I consider a good meal. A good chef shouldn't serve food like that.

My visit to the Gasthaus zum Hirsch was disappointing. The hygiene left much to be desired, the food was poorly prepared, and the taste was disappointing. When I called to clarify a question, the phone was simply hung up. Overall, I cannot recommend the Gasthaus zum Hirsch.
