Gasthaus Eschweilerhof in Neunkirchen

We were there on a Friday evening with a larger group (approx. 15 people). The restaurant was full. So: definitely make a reservation! The menu scores with down-to-earth dishes, delicious salads and delicious starters at reasonable prices. Despite our larger group, all starters and main courses came to the table at the same time. A big compliment for this! Everything was also very tasty. The Eschweilerhof is definitely worth a visit!

Good food with something for everyone. Prices absolutely fair. An absolute must for those who enjoy large portions.

Very good food, above the level of what is generally considered home-style. The beef carpaccio was very good, the lamb chops were perfect, as were the slices of saddle of venison in a great dark sauce. The fries tasted very good (from the deep fryer, not oven fries), the salad was also delicious. The service was attentive and friendly and recommended a larger table, which had just become available, so that the dog had more space. The toilets are new and absolutely clean. Oh yes, the prices are absolutely reasonable.

A home-style restaurant where we probably wouldn't have gotten a seat without a table reservation...and we now know why: the service is attentive, very friendly and quick! The menu offers a wide selection 👍 and the food is very tasty 😋 we had different dishes, everyone was thrilled. We felt very comfortable.

This was our second time eating there and it was just like a little vacation again. The food and drink were excellent and the entire service was simply super friendly and accommodating. The little guests are also welcome there and are very important. Simply big praise to the entire team at Gasthaus Eschweilerhof.

The Eschweiler Hof is a good, middle-class restaurant with good food and reasonable prices. The restaurant stands out with its extremely polite and courteous service. The personal highlight is the beer garden in summer, great atmosphere and quiet company. All dishes are recommended, my favorite is the grill plate.

Staff was very friendly. Food and drinks arrived quickly. Ordered champion cream schnitzel. 1. Schnitzel freezes. 2. There wasn't a single champion in the sauce and the sauce tasted very sweet, unfortunately not my taste. Otherwise pleasant atmosphere.

Apart from the somewhat small parking lot and the lack of a network connection, it's a really nice location.

Perfect experience, very courteous service and good food

Went there for dinner for the first time today. Waited an hour for food. It doesn't work at all. With the cream schnitzel there is only a dollop of sauce. What kind of cream schnitzel is that? The breading of the schnitzel was so salty that you couldn't eat it. Not recommendable!!! We won't be coming back. !!

Als langjährige Stammkundschaft wurden wir heute mehr als enttäuscht! Normalerweise verzichten wir auf Bewertungen im Internet, jeder sollte selbst seine Erfahrungen machen und beurteilen, aber heute hat uns nach mehreren berechtigten Reklamationen (Suppe lauwarm, beim Hauptgang, welcher bei moderatem Gästebesuch erst nach über einer Stunde auf Nachfrage unsererseits in der Küche abgerufen wurde, zwischenzeitlich hatten andere Tische, die deutlich nach uns bestellt hatten, ihr Essen bekommen) durch die Rechtfertigung des Kellners veranlasst, diese Rezession zu schreiben. Zum wiederholten Mal waren bei einem Gericht die Hälfte der Bratkartoffeln verbrannt und die andere Hälfte roh, auch die dann in Kürze nachgereichten Bratkartoffeln waren teilweise kalt und roh! Die Pommes des anderen Gerichtes waren scheinbar schon länger in der Fritteuse geschwommen, nicht wirklich zu genießen! Beim Versuch des Kellners, das misslungene Essen schönzureden anstatt sich zu entschuldigen und mit einem Getränk aufs Haus glattzubügeln, wurde angeraten hier keine Bratkartoffeln mehr zu bestellen, sondern Pommes (aber leider auch nicht zu empfehlen!) Nudeln oder Kroketten zu bestellen. Fast hatten wir den Eindruck, er wollte gerade sagen, wenn Ihr Bratkartoffeln wollt, müsst Ihr woanders hingehen, weil, Zitat: die machen wir immer so! Eschi, du bist nicht mehr das, was du einmal warst bei Inge und Helge! Auch bei einem Restaurant muss man sich jedes Mal und jeden Tag aufs Neue beweisen, sonst schafft man sich schneller ab, als man denkt. Auf eine Gespräch und eine Verabschiedung beim Verlassen des Lokals warteten wir vergebens. Wir werden mal ene zeitlang aussetzen, bis wir bessere Kritiken im Internet lesen, denn was man so liest, sind wir leider nicht die Einzigsten, die diese Erfahrung machen mußten.

Food was great, half of the seats were occupied but the sufficient number of waitresses took a long time to provide service. But still a recommendation 😉

A great beer garden with friendly staff and great food... My tip for the Cordon Bleu is to also order the paprika sauce... The cream sauce is made in the Swiss style and is too creamy for me (like with rye flour). Special requests for the sauce are never a problem... Really top... We come from near Wiesbaden and were invited, the food was delicious and the service was great, keep it up

I had the T-bone steak, which was ordered medium-rare. I got it blue. It was very mixed and the meat had no discernible aroma. On top of it was a stewed onion mass, underneath a dark sauce with green peppercorns and next to it a salted herb butter. I was very disappointed with my meal. The fried potatoes were OK. but nothing more. The salad was watery and not particularly tasty. My wife and two other guests had the Jägerschnitzel. The schnitzels were breaded very homogeneously and were all very similar in size. The taste was OK. but very breading-heavy. Was the meat home-made? There was a very sweet dark sauce and a little cream sauce with very little mushrooms. The fries were good!

On Sunday there were seven of us in the beer garden, having a drink and something to eat. Drinks and food were delicious. Above all, the service was very friendly, everyone was professional and very customer-oriented. Unfortunately the prices were a bit too high for the ambience provided (a rather simply furnished beer garden); a very small portion of fries cost almost 6 euros. The ambience could perhaps be made a little more appealing.

The food is good. Unfortunately the rest doesn't fit. The guest room is used to the maximum, meaning you sit close together. This is not suitable for a cozy or romantic evening. This means it is very loud and a private conversation is not possible. Unfortunately, the ventilation is very poor and the clothes smell strongly of food. Our main course was forgotten and we had to wait 1 hour. It's a shame that the atmosphere is so unpleasant. The food is really good and the price is top notch. Maybe it would be better to have a few fewer tables, then a nice stay would also be possible.

We ate there with four people. Except for the bread dumplings, the other dishes were delicious. Unfortunately, the bread dumplings were not convincing. The service was always nice and constantly asked if everything was OK.

Good home-style food in the country inn, just like you would have in an old German restaurant when I was a child. In addition, reasonable prices and excellent food quality, at least for my adoration. top food, top service. Ventilation kitchen will be remodeled soon. We've been there three times so far and we're always extremely satisfied. I can't understand the various negative comments here, people like that should maybe. cater for yourself at home. Food/menu very varied. Salad dressing sufficient and absolutely delicious. Be careful with the main courses, very hot on preheated plates, which is something you often miss elsewhere. very creative dishes with surprising taste explosions. Desserts also available, but usually no longer possible after lavish starters and main courses 😀. Special requests are implemented without discussion. The ambience is as you would expect in guest houses in the country, here with a slightly modern touch. CONCLUSION: absolutely recommended location, it's a shame I don't live here 😂😂 Thanks!!!!

I'm here for the second time within a week. Because of the joy of the delicious food, I forget to take pictures. Ate the best stuffed here last week and then the chicken breast ChimiChurri. The chimichurri was really good, so not too spicy! Today we have the Shepherd Cordon Bleu with salad, reordering was no problem at all, and it tasted excellent! I'll come back any time I'm in the area!

Rustikales Landgasthaus mit einer grossen Auswahl an Speisen. Empfehlenswert sind die Fisch und Fleischgerichte sowie die Auswahl an Salaten. Auch die Nachspeisen waren lecker. Die Bedienungen sind freundlich. Auf Grund des grossen Gästeaufkommens empfehle ich vorher zu reservieren. Leider war das Essen teilweise nur lauwarm. Weiterhin ist der Gastraum nicht ausreichend belüftet so das die Kleider nach dem verlassen des Restaurants sehr stark nach Essen riechen. Aber alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert und wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

Ganz großes Kino! Extrem uriges Gasthaus mit überragender Küche und ganz coolem Service. Waren auf Durchreise und wirklich beeindruckt. Vielfälltige Karte die keine Wünsche offen lässt und das zu sehr fairen Preisen. Muss man Mal gewesen sein........Reservierung sinnvoll!

Great food and very fast service

Wir waren an einem Donnerstag Abend im Eschweilerhof essen. Das Lokal war nicht voll besetzt. Die Kellnerin war noch relativ jung und bot uns einen Tisch an. Wir waren mit 5 Personen und bestellten als Vorspeise zwei Suppen. Die Maronensuppe war nicht richtig warm. ( kann mal passieren) Die Rindfleischsuppe war einfach komplett ungewürzt. Sie schmeckte wie Wasser. Eine komplette Enttäuschung. Einer zu Hause gekochten Rindfleischsuppe mit frischem Suppengrün kann diese nicht das Wasser reichen. Als die Servicekraft abräumte und fragte ob die Suppe geschmeckt hat, erwiderte ich meine Kritik bzgl. der Rindfleischsuppe in einem freundlichen Wortlaut. Daraufhin verdrehte die Servicekraft die Augen und jeder am Tisch bemerkte danach, wie genervt sie geschaut hatte. Dann kamen die Hauptgänge: 1x Schnitzel Bolognese - wurde mit Pommes gebracht, war jedoch mit Nudeln bestellt 1x Rahmschnitzel - wurde mit Pommes gebraucht, war jedoch mit Spätzle bestellt. Nach Reklamation kamen die richtigen Beilagen jedoch sehr zeitnah. 2x Pacos Riesenrösti 1x Schnitzel Wiener Art Zum Gericht Pacos Riesenrösti: in der Karte steht Riesenrösti überbacken mit Bergkäse, Tomaten und Speck, garniert mit Spiegeleiern und Kräutern, dazu Original Schweizer Wurstsalat..... Der Riesenrösti war über den kompletten Teller. Hier wäre weniger mehr gewesen. Er schmeckte auch nach relativ wenig. Mit Abschmecken und Würzen hat es die Küche leider nicht. Anstatt den Rösti etwas kleiner zu machen und eine anständige Portion "Schweizer Wurstsalat" dazu zu packen, war der Rösti einfach überladen viel und der Wurstsalat in einer Beilagensalatschüssel. In dieser Schüssel waren jedoch 50 Prozent Blattsalate und 50 Prozent Wurstsalat. Dieser groß angepriesene Original Schweizer Wurstsalat war in der Gesamtmenge somit sehr wenig. Der Geschmack des Wurstsalates war auch mehr als enttäuschend. Ein Schweizer Wurtsalat ist pikant und erfrischend mit Essig- Öl Dressing angemacht und die Wurst, sowie der Käse in kleinen Streifen. Hier jedoch war alles in Scheiben geschnitten und war fad wie der Rösti. Insgesamt wirkte die Servicekraft sehr genervt und eher wenig ambitioniert. Fazit: Hier werden wir erstmal nicht mehr einkehren. Schade, denn das Ambiente gefällt uns und früher gingen wir gerne hier hier Essen.

Sehr Freundliches Personal. Keine lange Wartezeit beim Essen sehr gut und reichlich. Tische sind im voraus zu bestellen. Im Sommer wird man im großen Biergarten sehr gut aufgehoben.

Essen war super lecker. Was uns nicht so gut gefallen hat ist das Ambiente. Erinnert etwas an ein Bierzelt. Weniger ist manchmal mehr. Wir fanden es nicht so angenehm mit fremden Leuten an einem Tisch zu sitzen bei einem Sonntagsessen.

Das Essen ist natürlich auch Klasse ,und die Bedienung ist sehr nett

Gestern am 15.10.23 spontan mal essen im Eschweilerhof!! Als wir das Lokal betraten dachte ich, wir sind in einer Kneipe. Laute Musik Gejohle. Dann wurden wir in einen Nebenraum geführt!! Aber die Musik war dort auch noch gut zu hören. (Für ein Lokal nicht angebracht) Bestellt wurde unter anderem 2 Schnitzel (Rahm und Jäger) Bei dem Rahmschnitzel war braune Soße drauf, aber definitiv kein Rahm. Bei dem Jäger waren 2 Soßen drauf ??? eine braune (undefinierbar wie bei dem Rahmschnitzel) und eine helle mit Pilzen aber pampe mäßig. Kroketten wurden vergessen, kamen dann aber nach. Ratzfatz?? Die Schnitzel waren nicht in der Pfanne gebraten, sondern kamen aus der Fritteuse. Beim Nachfragen wegen den Soßen, hieß es "machen wir immer so" nachja. Salat war solala. War halt mal ein Versuch, aber es wird wohl bei dem Versuch bleiben. Der Geschmack der beiden Schnitzel war leider 6- Die Bedienung lachte noch als ich wegen den Soßen nachfragte.
