Nice ambience, good, tasty food, staff friendly and quick, some funny sayings are not always well received, price/performance ratio is a bit high, toilet facilities definitely need to be renovated, child-friendliness still has room for improvement, otherwise I would like to come back!

I went here for a casual date with my significant other, we ordered two different pasta dishes and I didn’t want a drink so I politely declined. The waiter gave me a bit of a hard time but I chalked that up to banter and him doing his job. When the food came out we started eating and my date commented on how salty her food was. They must have mixed up the orders and over salted hers because I declined a drink. I will never return. This was a few months ago and I’m just now getting around to writing this review. But I would encourage anyone reading this to go literally anywhere else. Shoutout to Vapiano’s in K-town.

Garibaldi’s was a lovely spot for a delicious Italian dinner in Landstuhl. The menu includes a list of specials and many traditional pasta options. The service was great and the food classic Italian. A real delight.

Ich war heute mit einer Freundin und ihre 3 jährige Son da. Ich war öfftes dort essen mit m. Family. Heute haben Sie uns das gefühl gegeben, dass wir nicht willkommen zu sein. Meine freundin hat nach Kinderstuhl für ihren Son gefragt, er sagt erst wir haben keine Kinderstuhl und gabs doch einen ( sehr alten und sehr dreckigen Kinderstuhl). Wir mussten nach Besteck und Servietten nachfragen, alle andere Gäste ihren Besteck bekommen. Der Son von mein Freudin hat kein Strohhalm und keine Ketchup bekommen, wir haben Ihm gefragt, ob er uns Ketchup geben kann, dann Kam er von der seite hat es auf dem Teller von dem Kleinen geknallt. Meine Freundin hat nach dem Rechnung gefragt, meine Freundin hat ihm drauf angesproch, dass wir das gefühl haben , dass wir nicht willkommen sind? Diese unverschämt tupe sagte uns FÜR IHRE GEFÜHLE KANN ICH NICHT. Wir sind dann einfach aufgestanden und rausgegangen.Meine freundin ist raus gegengen um ihre Auto zu holen, ich und der Son von meine freundin haben draussen auf sie gewarter, er ist auf mich zu gekommen, sagt was hat sie ( meine freundin) für einen problem hätte. Ich habe Ihm gesagt, ist nur nicht Sie, wir alle 3, da drauf meint er, dass ER NICHTS FÜR UNSERE GEFÜHLE KANN. Er ist nicht mal auf die Idee gekommen sich zu entschuldigen. Diese Restaurant ist NICHT KINDERFREUNDLICH.

I was there today for the first and last time. I was there with a friend who really likes this restaurant and even had her wedding reception there. She was also very disappointed and that was sad. The one star is for the food. Not because it was bad (it was actually very good) but because otherwise I would have preferred not to give it a star. This friend, my son (3 years old) and I were there and felt unwelcome the whole time. When I asked for a children's chair, they first said there wasn't one and then there was one. Everyone else got napkins but we didn't. My son didn't have any cutlery. When I asked for the napkins the waiter/owner put it down without saying any words. The ketchup for my son was also just left there. No “bon appetit” or anything like that. I grew up with Italians and I don't know anything like that from Italians at all. I think he had a problem that my little son was with him. I wouldn't say anything if all the guests had been treated like that, but he served the others in a friendly and courteous manner. My son wasn't loud or misbehaved. When I asked for the bill I wanted to address this and very kindly mentioned that we had the feeling of not being welcome. His snippy answer was “I can’t help your feelings.” No apology or anything like that. I then said nothing more and we left. My girlfriend was waiting outside with my son when I got the car and he then asked her “what problem SHE has”. She said that all 3 of us had that feeling and that she was very disappointed. He then said that he couldn't help our feelings. She comes there regularly and will never come again. Sad. It's a real shame because I was really looking forward to the food and would have liked to come back because the food was very good, but as a paying customer I don't have to put up with something like that.

An excellent and authentic Italian who knows his craft. We really enjoyed the fast and friendly service, excellent recommendations, great food and a lovely atmosphere (even outside). A very good espresso and a herbal schnapps rounded off the evening. Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back!

Outdoor dining with colleagues. Great way to end a hard working day. I had the Shnizel with some cream sauce. I think I'll try their brown gravy sauce.and breaded shnizel. I aspire to be a shnizel connosieur.

Underground!!! Service??? Unavailable!!! Food cannot be rated because there was none!! As REGULAR CUSTOMERS, we just wanted to have a drink and were asked to leave very, very rudely, no, we were rather chased away and then shouted that there was an ice cream parlor opposite and we could go there... We will let all carnival fans know that we don't need to go there anymore after our meeting!!!

Wir haben auf der Terrasse gesessen. Ich war überrascht wie ruhig es war trotz Ortsmitte. Unsere Bedienung durch den Chef war super freundlich und listig. Ein sehr leckeres Dressing am Salat. Die Pizza war knusprig, Parmesanachnitzel sehr lecker. Die Creme Brule zum Abschluss war auch sehr gelungen. Kartenzahlung war ohne Probleme möglich. Wir waren das erste mal da und kommen bestimmt wieder. Danke für den tollen Abend bei euch!

Very tasty and excellent service! We always enjoy coming back. Zero "outrageous", as you read in other reviews, but always in a good mood and a lot of humor. The bad reviews can only be from bad competition 😅 Extra requests are always fulfilled and gladly so. Our friends who came along for the first time are also thrilled 👍

Food was delicious, the service was great. I wish i had the chance to try more while i was in town. The pasta i had incredible mushrooms and pancetta. Finished off the meal with a super tasty creme brulle.

Went to the Garibaldi with my sister today. We consumed it for €70 for two people. It's not a snap, with 3 drinks per person, a pizza and a pasta dish. The food was good, no question, I've been there several times, the service too and the ambience as well. But what's not possible is that shortly after the meal, when you want to enjoy the wine, you are asked to pay and leave because the table has already been reserved again. We won't come back because it leaves a bad taste in our mouths.

Normally we don't leave bad reviews but we have never been treated so poorly. We sat down and asked for recommendations and after making a decision the waitress was rude because we didn't order enough food 😵‍💫, he yelled at us in Italian and aggressively passed our order to the chef downstairs. We quickly canceled our order, paid for our for our drinks and left. As we left, the man screamed Mama Mia at us several times aggressively! When We looked for a new restaurant to have lunch, we saw Mama Mia restaurant (3min walk/easy parking) and felt like it was a sign 😃 We walked to mama mia and we were instantly welcomed with amazing hospitality and delicious food. CD ame in for Lunch and was super impressed with the staff extremely friendly family own and operated, made me feel like I was part of the family, inside gives you a romantic feel while outside gives you some country side dining the trees and table layout is well thought out.

Went there with a friend. First off we asked to sit inside but were told we were not allowed to. Probably to give the impression to passersby that the restaurant was full. My friend ordered a pizza and some garlic bread. I just ordered a beer. The owner/waiter went berserk saying this wasn’t a bar and I had to order food. He continued his tirade that it was rude just to come and order a beer (meanwhile my friend had ordered enough food for the 2 of us). To shut the waiter/owner up I ordered minestrone soup which was as bland as could be. Watched a table close to me pay by credit card but we were told it was cash only so my friend had to cough up the cash as he had euros with him. The owner/waiter should be ashamed of himself the way he treats people and judging by the reviews on here this was not an isolated issue. They run the place like the Italian mafia and don’t care how they treat their guests. Despicable management

We were there yesterday, the two of us, to have a nice dinner, like we had a year ago, with a good meal in a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, this was not the case. We were the first and the two ladies on site didn't seem particularly enthusiastic because we hadn't reserved a table. (In our defense, we tried several times at lunchtime but no one answered the phone) Well, we then ordered something to eat. We ordered: 1x spaghetti alioli 1x gnocchi with “spinach pesto” and cocktail tomatoes. This included a salad with bruscetta. My companion's spaghetti was described as very bland and loveless. On top of that, the plate was basically thrown at her. The salad with the bruscetta was served as a starter, so to speak. The salad was okay, the bruscetta was very bland, not crispy but rather soggy from the salad dressing. The gnocchi was also bland, but since we were both very hungry, we ate everything. At the end we were basically thrown out because we chatted a bit at the table but were too full to order anything else. The highlight, however, was that I wanted to pay by card first. But the boss said that wasn't possible. Since my companion unfortunately didn't have enough cash to pay me, they suddenly accepted payment by card. Really a joke. Conclusion: Unfortunately, the food is always compared to the previous year, boring, not really seasoned and therefore very bland and not particularly creative. The service was unfriendly and rude. Unfortunately, because my battery was empty, I couldn't take any pictures. On to the next restaurant

Quaint little place in the middle of Landsthul. Service is usually excellent and friendly. The menu is diverse with plenty of options and in three languages (Italian, german and english). The hosts speak fluent English making conversation easy. The only issue I have ever had is I ordered a drink and it was not delivered. This restaurant is worth trying and enjoying.

For those of you who may not know me, I consider myself the FAF-flight attendant foodie. I am amazingly privileged to travel the globe and experience authentic cuisine at each stop. Today’s review is for Garibaldi Restaurant in Landstuhl Germany. This was actually my second stop and I should’ve reviewed them the last time I visited. Their schnitzel is absolutely amazing! Today I had the mushroom schnitzel and last visit I had the lemon. I just can’t get enough of it. Not only is the pork, thinly sliced and so tender that you can cut it with a fork, the sauce is just incredible, and check out the salad! I love this place and am hoping that you get to experience it someday. My one and only criticism is that the owner decided to vacuum during my dinner experience. It wasn’t a major disruption and I get it since there were only like five people in the restaurant at the time but it definitely took away from the ambience. All in all I love this place for authentic German cuisine and can’t wait to come back. Enjoy!!

It arrived at short notice at Easter lunchtime and they still made it possible for us to get a place with 8 people. The food was very tasty and the service was cheerful and friendly. Would love to come back.

I have fallen in love with everything about this restaurant. The food is consistently delicious. I eat there almost twice a week. Nick, Castro, and their families are such lovely people. Garibaldi is my favorite restaurant in the area!

The food was good. The service was good, only the loud hectic music was a bit annoying. But otherwise very good!

A shocking experience: We arrived late as a group (that was the agreement, and also that not everyone would eat something) and were treated unfriendly, mushy and rude from the very first moment. This increased over the two hours we were in the restaurant. As we left, we were constantly insulted loudly. Without us being informed beforehand, it was not possible to pay by card. There was no invoice! Definitely don't go there!

This restaurant was exceptional! Me and my wife had a pepperoni pizza, a steak with onions and garlic butter, and pasta with white wine and the shrimps. Everything from the side salad to the dessert of Crème Brûlée was just perfect and top tier delicious. I have zero complaints. The man that was working also was extremely friendly and helpful, spoke English and German. It was very calm and the music was tasteful background noise as well. 12/10

Quite simply this is the best restaurant in the area. The staff, the food, and the atmosphere is the best there is.

We were visiting our son and DIL for Christmas and finally getting around to writing my reviews. A fav of theirs and I get it…the service and food are impeccable!! This is our second visit here…the first was in the fall and we sat outside in their adorable outdoor dining space. This night it was cold and rainy so we sat inside. All of our food was delicious. I had the special: ravioli and it was delicious! Our DIL had gnocchi and gave me a bite…now I know what I want to have next time: Yum!! Hubby tagliatelle bolognese and cleaned his plate. We enjoyed a wonderful bottle of white wine with our meal. We had crème brulee and chocolate mousse for dessert and were treated to a glass of limoncello from the owner! Great family owned restaurant and they stopped by our table a few times to check in on us…will definitely be back when we visit again!

Me and friends wanted a nice night out so we decided to try this place out. Online it showed that they are open on Sundays so we proceeded to go on a Sunday. When we went there was a paper sign saying “We are closed for the upcoming Sundays”. Which is understandable. We decided to come a second time during operating hours that was posted on their door and no one was there anyways. We then tried it a third time, different day & different time. Same schedule that was posted on their door. Then, when me and my friends arrived there was a sign that’s mentions that they are on “vacation”. I’m not sure if it’s just us going at the wrong times, but the business needs to have a consistent schedule & stick with it.

Place is tucked so sign is hard to see but their pastas were fabulous and fresh! Pasta was cooked perfectly (from someone who doesn't always eat pasta)... Very nice service.. would highly recommend. Creme Brulee for dessert was just the right sweetness

Wir waren heute nach einer Wanderung mit unseren Hunden im Aussenbereich des Garibaldi. Als wir bestellt hatten haben wir gefragt, ob wir etwas Wasser für die Hunde bekommen könnten. Der Kellner sagte uns, dass dies nicht möglich sei. So etwas haben wir bisher noch nirgendwo erlebt. Ein paar Häuser weiter wurden wir dann in einem Café Rhena sehr herzlich und freundlich bedient und unsere Hunde bekamen ohne Frage einen Napf Wasser. Vielen Dank an die freundliche Bedienung im benachbarten Café und ein Daumen runter für Garibaldi. Vielleicht sollten Sie ein Schild aufstellen, dass Hunde unerwünscht sind. Das wäre meines Erachtens ehrlicher.

Waren letzte Woche zum ersten mal dort Essen. Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und modern gestaltet. Der Service trotz vollem Restaurant war gut. Die Qualität des Essens (hatte eine Tagesempfehlung Tagliatelle mit Meeresfrüchten) war exzellent! Der Preis hat zu der gebotenen Qualität gepasst. Die Parkmöglichkeiten vor Ort sind aktuell schwierig. Hier hilft Ortskenntnis weiter.
