Garbs am Markt in Weyhe

Im letzten Jahr(Silvester) direkt nach dem Theater ins Restaurant und sofort den reservierten Tisch zu gewiesen bekommen.Dieses Jahr sollten wir 1 Stunde auf unseren reservierten Tisch warten.Wir waren nicht die einzigen ,es waren noch ca. 10 andere Gruppen die leider die gleiche Erfahrung gemacht haben.Die meisten haben daraufhin das Restaurant verlassen. Die Silvester Deko wurde schon um 21 Uhr entfernt obwohl noch viele Gäste am Essen waren, auch die Tische wurden mit scharfen Reinigungsmitteln gesäubert(ebenfalls um 21 Uhr).Der Geruch zog zu uns rüber,was nicht sehr angenehm war, denn auch wir waren noch am Speisen.Man fühlte sich heraus komplettemiert. Die Öffnungszeit war bis 22 Uhr angegeben.

Sehr gutes Essen mit total nettem Service

Seit vielen Jahren, eigentlich von der Eröffnung an kennen und liebe ich das "Garbs am Markt " hier habe ich schon mit der familie oder auch mit Freunden oder Bekannten das essen und die Getränke genossen. Ich muss sagen hier schmeckt es immer wieder gut. Ob nun das Essen oder aber ein leckeres Getränk vom Kaffee über Cappuccino bis zu Wein, Bier oder oder alles ist hier ein Genuss. Besonders liebe ich im Sommer die aussengastronomie also die Terrasse dort. Hier kann man ganz ungezwungen hingehen um z.b. nur etwas zu trinken oder wenn man will eine Kleinigkeit essen oder auch etwas größeres essen. Deshalb empfehle ich das "Garbs " immer wieder sehr gerne weiter. Und vor allem komme ich auch liebend gerne wieder. Daumen hoch für dieses schöne Stätte des Genuss

Solide Küche, gut zubereitet. Waren dort als es voll war, die Bedienung schien etwas "angefasst", blieb aber höflich und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem eine klare Empfehlung.

Waren mit einer größeren Gruppe dort. Haben bestellt nach Karte. Es war alles mega lecker. Der Sercice ( hauptsächlich von Sarah ) war echt mega toll. Flott kek und freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder. 🥰🥰

The food and atmosphere are generally good, however, this is a poor choice for those with allergies, as there are absolutely no alternatives to dairy products (lactose). The menu also failed to mention any other options for those with food intolerances. If you can eat anything, this is a good place. The staff is very friendly, and the restrooms are clean.

Our visit to Restaurant Garbs was very pleasant overall. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. However, we were somewhat disappointed with the pricing. The breakfast buffet was advertised at €24.90, yet we were charged extra for additional items. Everything was nicely arranged on the table at first, but when we wanted to order more, we had to pay extra. We would have appreciated being informed about this beforehand. Therefore, this point slightly marred our otherwise positive impression.

This afternoon, six of us went to the Winterhütte for lunch without a reservation. The service was excellent, the food arrived very quickly, was delicious, and still offered good value for money. Our son, a trained chef, had absolutely no complaints. While the Winterhütte was a bit chilly, the overall atmosphere was fantastic! Highly recommended.

I don't understand the hype. It's neither particularly good nor particularly bad.

We were there for dinner today, St. Nicholas Day. Unfortunately, a glass of apple spritzer spilled all over my shirt and trousers when it was served because it tipped off the tray! They apologized and said something would be deducted from the bill, but unfortunately, that didn't happen. When I disputed the bill, they said they didn't know anything about it, and everything was charged, even though I explained what had happened! So I sat there the whole time eating with wet clothes, which was very unpleasant. It's a shame that something like this wasn't taken into account. It was my first time here. I had a Garbs Burger with steakhouse fries. It was great. All the other dishes at the neighboring tables looked very good. Large portions and fresh vegetables, beautifully prepared. I'll definitely be back.

Leider im Vergleich zu letztem Jahr mindestens eine Klasse schlechter.Der Zander war paniert und die Soße eine Zumutung.Letztes Jahr war das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ok.Jetzt kann ich nur von diesem Restaurant abraten. Schade,denn wir waren die letzten Jahre sehr oft dort.

What a delightful restaurant. We had a lovely dinner. Each of our family had particular eating preferences and Garbs menu made it easy for all of us. The staff was wonderful and worked together as a well coordinated team. They all really cared about our experience. Situated right off the plaza, diner was peaceful both while kids were playing in the plaza and when the theater crowd arrived later. I look forward to my next meal there!

We were here for breakfast. There was no buffet, but rather an a la carte menu. A great selection, everything was delicious. Excellent service, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We'll definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend Garbs am Markt.

We're regulars here. Unfortunately, none of the old team is still with us, but the new staff is friendly too. The food and drinks are good, the location is great, and the outdoor area is lovely in the summer.

The Garbs Burger is a classic and always very good. The other dishes are also very tasty. Highly recommended. Special requests are accommodated and executed superbly.

We went there with the family for breakfast. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the staff was very attentive. The only thing I found disappointing was that there were no milk alternatives. Although there was lactose-free milk, it didn't make a cappuccino or latte macchiato. But all in all, it was good.

Cozy seating inside the restaurant. Weather permitting, the outdoor area is a great option. Quiet, with a view of the market square. Delicious food from morning to night. Check out the daily specials! We've been there several times and would happily return.

Four of us had dinner here on Easter Sunday. The reception was friendly and the service was very attentive. Special thanks to Julia for taking care of us. The food was fantastic. Everything was fresh, deliciously cooked and beautifully presented. We had aioli with olives and pepperoni as a starter, leg of lamb, burger and fish. Finally shared a pistachio tiramisu. Many thanks to the entire team who were there for us at Easter.

We ended up there by chance on the way home from Bremen. It was great, very tasty food, nice beer garden, nice service. If we are in the area again, we would like to come again

We were invited for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. on a Saturday. It was a birthday party with ~30 people in the alpine hut. We had to wait outside until "after" 9:30 a.m. until we were let in. Incl. the hostess who used to be there to greet the guests inside. The breakfast was very tasty and nothing was missing, even though the scrambled eggs came a little late. Es war NICHT MÖGLICH nach der Theatervorstellung noch irgendetwas zu bekommen. Es gab noch nicht einmal ein Getränk. Wir, und etliche andere Theaterbesucher hätten sehr gerne noch ne Kleinigkeit gegessen. Finde ich schwach, dafür dass das Theater im Haus ist

I was a long-time regular at Garbs and greatly appreciated both the ambiance and the friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately, I haven't been completely satisfied for some time now. Almost the entire regular staff has been replaced, and the prices have risen significantly. Despite the price increases, breakfast, for example, looks very "subtle." I've been missing side dishes like strips of bell pepper, radishes, etc., which were previously customary, for some time now. Fortunately, I've now found another "favorite" restaurant where the price and quality are again right.

Very tasty food, nice staff and a nice pleasant atmosphere. It felt a bit like a holiday when there was nothing going on in the market square in front of the restaurant.

We were there for the normal a la carte breakfast. This came quickly and was as described in the card. Yummy. Service was quick, but a bit taciturn. I like that better than being full of text, so full marks. On a Saturday the place wasn't completely full, but I would always recommend making a reservation there. My voucher was accepted and credited without any problem.

It's a shame... We've been coming to Garbs with our little dog for years. Unfortunately, this evening on February 22, 2025, around 8:00 p.m., we were approached by a waiter who told us that dogs were not allowed... I said that this was news to me because we had been coming with dogs for years. We were with friends who also had a dog that was a few centimeters taller than ours. The waiter said that our dog would just walk, but the other one wouldn't. We're talking about a difference of maybe 5 cm. We will not visit Garbs again. :((

We are extremely angry and disappointed! Since we had visitors from Baden-Württemberg, we were looking forward to a lovely evening at Garbs in the hut. We had booked a table for 7 p.m. We were 8 (!) minutes late and, to our horror, our table was given to other guests! I wonder why you should provide a cell phone number when reserving a table... An idyllic spot for breakfast with a view of the Kirchweyher market square. The breakfast was very rich and varied. My recommendation: "hearty breakfast" Repeat visit on May 7th, 2023 I can only underline my above assessment.👍👍 Repeat on April 1st, 2024 👍👍

We had lunch with friends at the restaurant. We “just” ordered lunch. There was kale with pee, cooked sausage and smoked pork. We were all pleasantly surprised. About 6 months ago we were on the market at Garbs for the first time. At that time we chose dishes from the menu and were also very satisfied. The restaurant was very busy on both visits. The staff is friendly and attentive. We will come back.

Today we are waiting for coffee with our friends and 2 children. The service was very friendly and the coffee was also tasty. I particularly liked that there were also painting supplies for the children. Absolutely recommended!

Experience 10/21/24: I ordered Kaiserschmarren for €8.50. Unfortunately this was far too small for the price. After asking and complaining, an extremely friendly apology from the waitress and a double free portion of Kaiserschmarren came to my table. We are old hands at Garbs and have been there countless times combined with going to the theater. The food is always delicious and freshly prepared. After a while we have now eaten the main menu up and down and unfortunately there have been no changes for years. I like the seasonal menu in autumn with pumpkin dishes, but it doesn't go down so well with the men in our group. I would like to see some innovations as I'm a bit 'tired'.

The food was good so far, but what struck us as very positive was the service! We were served by a very courteous man! Even though my somewhat difficult grandparents were there, he handled them very well and kindly. Very very nice, thank you!
