***Very cozy restaurant with affordable prices*** Whenever I'm in the Old Homeland, I stop by this restaurant. On the one hand, I think the ambience is very nice and on the other hand, the food tastes really good because it is prepared with love. Since I can't get some dishes abroad, I'm always happy to refresh old memories with a nice meal. The Knipp is particularly recommended. (Caution: only for northern German gourmets – vegans are better off staying away from it). Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of the dish this time - I love it when a traditional dish is presented in a modern twist. This has really worked very well here. Clear recommendation 👍👍

Thursday morning, 10 a.m. with the best weather, it's lovely to sit out on the terrace. Very friendly service, who also responds to “extra sausages” and is also in a good mood. was. Breakfast is rich and the specially ordered salmon with cream horseradish is very well portioned. Coffee latte or whatever else you drink at that time was pretty much ok. Prices, yes, bargains are different now, but for the “extra sausage” and the friendly service, it’s all absolutely ok, and of course you can’t and shouldn’t forget the ambience. Even if no one was around to pay, it's often the case that the less there is, the worse things go ;-) We'd love to come back and thank you very much.

We felt quite comfortable, but still there! My niece ordered a pizza with figs and rocket, which for me is clearly not frisee in the traditional sense! My grill plate didn't really pick me up either! The meat was dry like a Greek one, and it seemed more like it had been parked until the other dishes were ready! What a shame! In addition, you still don't have any vegan or vegetarian dishes, which is actually no longer possible today! What a shame that you are not able to offer a vegan milk substitute for coffee drinks! Whatever can be overcooked in an emergency! Even your service thinks it's a shame and the service is right!

We visited Garbs am Markt 3 times during our 10-day stay in Weyhe and we always had an enjoyable time there. Mr. Michael was the best and always greeted us in Thai. We also had chance to meet the restaurants owners who were very kind and friendly. We will visit Garbs am Markt again on our next vacation in Germany.

Food is still good. But the price/performance is no longer right. Compared to other restaurants, far too little for a lot of money on your plate!

We ate there today with our 3 children. It was just great. As soon as we sat down, the kids were given their own menu to color. The food we ordered came quickly and we enjoyed it very much. We haven't had such good service in a long time. Simply great. If we are ever in the area again we will eat there again.

Unfortunately it has become more and more expensive over the years... great burger with delicious fries sticks for 19 euros is really borderline, regardless of whether the ambience is nice. Salad plate as the main course was very large and tasty. Would love to come back.

...at the market in Kirchweyhe you can find Garbs...comfortably furnished with nice seating areas for larger groups, even for people with restricted mobility..also on the terrace covered with umbrellas...mostly tables for four people, the friendly service for larger groups You can also put it together... Breakfast is served from 9.30 a.m., with a wide selection for both small and large appetites... the prices are a bit ambitious because, which I find a bad habit, the coffee, which is good, always costs extra. ..but the quality and quantity of the offer is okay...the menu offers a variety of good quality and tasty food and drinks, but in terms of price they now take up a lot of space in your wallet...which I think is a shame, because I... I often and happily went there in the past...the wait staff are all very friendly and attentive...you don't have to worry about parking spaces, there are enough in the area...the toilets are very clean and also accessible for disabled people... .🤔

Price performance is not right at all. My salmon was delicious, hence 2 stars, but the portions were far too small...with vegetables...I was hoping for more, there were exactly 2 pieces of zucchini on the plate, a few carrots, and that was almost it. My husband had ordered his steak medium and it definitely wasn't medium. When we asked the waitress about it, she replied seriously, "It's medium" which was super inappropriate. Then she said she would pass it on and that was it. There was no apology or anything. So for almost 30€ for this steak it's not possible. When we didn't give a tip, we didn't say goodbye, have a nice evening. So we definitely won't be coming back again.

We like to eat here. Everything is possible even without a reservation. You can also order away from home. Enjoyed the homemade lemonade today in a summery way. Delicious 🤗

A clear menu. That means we weren't overwhelmed with the choice of food. Something for every taste; also for vegetarians. There is water for vegans😉! Service friendly and attentive, prices moderate and a nice atmosphere. I felt comfortable here.

My dear friend and I had decided to really enjoy the Summer in the City evening! We managed to do this after a quick look around and found a free table here in the summer garden. This time we had the best view over the market square and the stage. We were greeted by a nice waitress with a lovely smile and a good mood (which she managed without much effort throughout the evening) and we knew we were welcome here! The antipasta plate on the special menu was worth the temptation! What more could you want, it was a lovely evening!

We have enjoyed eating at Garbs for years. In the summer after the bike tour and in the winter just go into the winter tent (sooo comfortable) yes the prices are sporty, but we are happy to pay that for quality.

Fantastic breakfast, outstanding service. On recommendation, I used the location to pass 3 hours. This with a good breakfast and the chance to still work on the notebook. I was not disappointed in any way. The store already has a healthy occupancy rate at 10 a.m., which steadily increased until lunchtime (there is a lunch menu, also for pick-up). Reservations are therefore recommended at this point. I was looked after by two really nice and authentic service staff in a caring but never intrusive manner, while I was able to work without any problems and in a relaxed manner. Class. I didn't ask about WiFi, but I had a great connection with Telekom. Here, tipping was not a sense of propriety, but rather a need. Thank you. Gladly again.

We had the grill pan. The meat was very good. Unfortunately, the meat was swimming in far too much white sauce so you had to be careful that the sauce didn't float over the edge of the pan. I wouldn't recommend the vegetable side dish for 3.90.

An idyllic spot for breakfast with a view of the Kirchweyher market square. The breakfast was very rich and varied. My recommendation: "hearty breakfast" Repeat visit on May 7th, 2023 I can only underline my above assessment.👍👍 Repeat on April 1st, 2024 👍👍

Ich hatte eine kleine Putenledersohle mit einer Tomatenscheibe und, ich glaube es war Käse, überbacken?!?! Nicht zu definieren! Dadrüber ein Berg von Kartoffelecken mit drei Stückchen Salat! Das Ganze nannte sich: Marktpfanne Putenbruststeaks mit Champignons, Zwiebeln, Käse und Tomate überbacken Kartoffelspalten und Dip für 21,90 Euro! Alles in einer Eisenpfanne von der man, salopp gesagt, sch…. essen konnte. Kurz gesagt schlechtes Essen für viel Geld. Hätte ich dem Kellner auch gesagt, wenn er gefragt hätte!

We actually love this restaurant because of its very good lunch menu. However, I have been trying to order this wonderful coconut curry cream soup for 3 weeks, but every time I am told that this soup is no longer available. There is a winter menu and this soup is still offered there. That's not very hospitable!!!!!!!!

Wir kommen jede Woche einmal.Das tun wir ,weil das Essen sehr lecker ist ,das Personal super nett ist und sich um all unsere manches mal auch Sonderwünsche kümmert. Wir kommen gerne zum Mittagessen und empfehlen aber vorher einen Tisch zu bestellen.Auch für nur 2 Personen.Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert. Das Restaurant ist schön und Geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es gibt im Winter eine gemütliche Alpenhütte im Außen Bereich die aber nahtlos an das Restaurant anschließt.Weiter so liebes Team alles passt.

Hier kann man bei soliden Preisen solide essen gehen. Typische Bistroküche (Schnitzel, Burger, Pasta, Pizza) mit einigen Eigenkreatione. Sehr netter Service. Ist in Weyhe einer der wenigen Restaurants, die man immer besuchen kann. Sehr verlässliche Qualität.

Das Wintermenü hatte mein Lieblingsessen. Richtig lecker. Der Service war freundlich und kompetent, findet man heute selten. In den Winter Monaten gibt es ein Anbau,eine Hütte aus Holz. Sie ist richtig gemütlich. Ich komme wieder.

Freundlicher Service, draußen kann man sehr gut im Schatten essen. Die Portionen war groß und sehr lecker. Der Salat fresh & fruits war reichlich bestückt mit frischen Melonen und anderem Obst, schmackhaftem Currydressing und ausreichend Putenstückchen. Die Rinderleber mit Äpfeln, Zwiebeln und Kartoffelpüree war sehr lecker. Update v. 6. Januar 2024: Wenn man nach dem Theaterbesuch um 22 h jedoch mit den Worte "Letzte Runde, mehr nicht" begrüßt wird, ist es sehr befremdlich. Vor allem, da sich viele Theaterbesucher dort einfanden und Speisen und Getränke bestellten.

Wunderschönes Frühstück in der Weihnachtszeit. Wir saßen in der Hütte und es war eine zauberhafte Stimmung.

Alles wunderbar, um kurz nach Feierabend noch was trinken zu gehen oder sich mit Freunden zu treffen. Essen ist auch immer top und kleine Sonderwünsche werden gern erfüllt sofern es machbar ist. Allerdings ist es sehr laut, wenn das Garbs gut besucht ist, so dass man dann sein eigenes Wort nicht mehr verstehen kann. Vielleicht könnte man daran noch arbeiten 😉

Schlechter Service, arrogant und überheblich Ich war doch sehr überrascht durch die Unhöflichkeit des Kellners den Gästen gegenüber. Meine Freundin war mit einigen Freundinnen dort essen, beim Abholen durfte einer Reklamation beiwohnen. Die Damen reklamierten, das sie sehr lange warten mussten auf die Getränke und Essen, es wurde nicht abgeräumt und nicht mehr nachgefragt. Sie fühlten sich ignoriert. Das Lokal war halbvoll. Der Kellner nahm die Kritik auf, nahm die Damen gar nicht ernst! Er meinte, sie brauchen ja nicht mehr wiederkommen. Der Kellner war nicht in der Lage, die Situation zu deeskalieren. Na super, Kunde ist hier König. Nicht empfehlenswert und nicht hingehen

War mit einer Freundin dort frühstücken. Die Teller waren sehr schön angerichtet . Ambiente und Service waren gut 👍. Kommen gerne wieder.

Gemütliche Atmosphäre in der Almhütte

Gemütliches Lokal uns das Essen war super lecker. Das Wildgulasch der Rotkohl und die Klasse waren ein Traum.

Wir haben dort gefrühstückt, es war sehr lecker und es sehr viel. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Sehr schönes Restaurant, direkt am Theater. Wir haben vor dem Theater hier gegessen. Sehr schönes Ambiente. Aufmerksamer Kellner. Unser Essen war sehr lecker. Wir hatten verschiedene Gerichte. Fisch, Leber, Pizza und Schnitzel, jedes Gericht war sehr gut zubereitet und einfach nur lecker.

Wir waren nun zum zweiten Mal hier und sind wirklich begeistert. Die Mitarbeiter sind total freundlich, engagiert und auf Wünsche wird auch eingegangen. Das Essen war beide Male richtig gut und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder 💜

Das Essen und Ambiente super aber wenn man einen Tisch reservieren möchte, erreicht man kaum jemanden.

Wir haben heute das erste Mal dort essen geholt und für den Preis (4 schnitzel) waren wir alle sehr enttäuscht, Geschmacklich. Die Pfefferrahm sauce Kamm Geschmacklich nicht an das richtige ran, auch waren es keine frischen Pilze sondern aus dem Glas (sorry aber bei den Preisen, erwartet man frische Champions). Der Salat war gut dort hatten wir je 1 frisches Stück Pilz drine gehabt. Dort werden wir nicht wieder essen. Viel zu teuer für keine frischen Zutaten.

Sehr freundlicher Service und super leckeres Essen. Die Gerichte sind abwechslungsreich, da fällt die Auswahl manchmal schwer. Das Ambiente ist schön und bei gutem Wetter kann man draußen sitzen. Man sollte auf jeden Fall vorher reservieren, gerade an den Theatertagen. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es genug. Sehr zu Empfehlen, gerade mit einem Theaterbesuch vorher oder im Anschluß.

Wir waren eine größere Gruppe die verschiedene Gerichte bestellt hatten. Lachs, Pfefferschnitzel, Leberkäse und Rumpsteak. Die Portionen hatte die "richtige Größe" und das Essen war schmackhaft. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir waren zur zweit spontan da und wurden trotz rappelvollem Laden freundlich empfangen und bedient. Auch das Essen kam relativ zügig und war sehr lecker und reichlich (Burger & Pfefferrahm Schnitzel). Was man wohl beachten muss, ist die Auslastung vor Veranstaltungen im benachbarten Theater. Bei der extrem hohen Gästezahl die wir miterleben durften, ist es schon relativ laut.

Mittagstisch Schweinefilet mit Pfifferlingen Kroketten frischem Gemüse. Sehr gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis.

Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit einer Freundin: auf die Bitte beim Frühstück die Salami gegen eine Scheibe Köse zu tauschen (was man ja hätte berechnen können) antwortete die Bedienung barsch: wir nehmen keine Änderungen entgegen, das ginge nicht !!! Ein Scherz? Mitnichten ! Wenn sich das Garbs das leisten kann , kein Problem! Es gibt noch andere Möglichkeiten!

Der Kellner, nach eigener Aussage sehr beliebt bei alle , nahm die Kritik auf und sagte, wenn es den Damen nicht gefällt, brauchen sie ja nicht mehr wiederkommen. DAS fand ich sehr unhöflich! Geht leider gar nicht. Der Kellner war nicht in der Lage, die Situation zu deeskalieren. Die Damen waren total nett und haben höflich und respektvoll das Thema angesprochen. Er hätte einen aufs Haus ausgeben können und geschmeidiger sein können. Nun sind 5 Leute sehr enttäuscht und sehr sauer gegangen. Und ich auch…. Kellner spielt sich auf zum Chef und ist nicht in der Lage, souverän auf die Situation einzugehen. Nicht empfehlenswert und nicht hingehen!

Gestern Abend haben wir zu fünft das Garbs am Markt besucht. Wir waren um 19.30 Uhr und guter Dinge dort einen netten Abend zu verbringen. Es kam leider ganz anders. Bei der Aufnahme der Getränkebestellung unterbrach unsere Bedienung den Vorgang, um erstmal die Bestellung des Nachbartischs aufzunehmen und dann bei uns weiterzumachen. Danach war er dann nicht mehr zu sehen. Irgendwann durften wir dann doch tatsächlich auch etwas zu Essen bestellen. Die Nachfrage nach einem noch fehlenden Getränk wurde mit einem "Sie sehen doch was hier los ist" beantwortet. Anmerkung: Im Haus saß niemand, draußen waren alle Tische besetzt. Es gab 5 Bedienungen. Wir saßen den ganzen Abend vor unseren leergegessenen Tellern und leeren Gläsern. Unsere Bedienung hat uns den ganzen Abend ignoriert, was zur Folge hatte, dass wir dann um kurz vor 22 Uhr rein gingen um unser Essen und das eine Getränk bezahlen zu können. Und dann ging die Show erst richtig los. Wir bekamen zu hören, dass wir das wohl alles falsch wahrgenommen hätten, dass schon 15 Stunden Arbeit hinter dem Team lägen, es eine Unverschämtheit wäre sich zu beschweren, wir unser Getränk auch selber am Tresen hätten bestellen und mit zum Tisch nehmen können usw.. Zum Schluss wurden wir aufgefordert zu bezahlen, zu gehen und bitte nicht mehr wiederzukommen. Auf solche Gäste könne man bei Garbs gut verzichten. Schade, dass der Unmut (lange Arbeitstage, Überarbeitung etc.) des Servicepersonals am Gast ausgelassen bzw. dem Gast zugeschoben wird. Wenn Gäste aufgefordert werden nicht mehr wiederzukommen, dann braucht das Garbs wohl bald auch kein Personal mehr.....

Wir waren zu dritt bei Garbs essen, nachdem eine Person von dieses Restaurant aufgrund von früheren Besuchen empfohlen hat. Essen: Vorspeise (Bruschetta, Röstitaler mit Lachs und Crème fraîche und Aioli mit frischem Baguette, Peperoni und Oliven) größtenteils einfach und lecker. Einzige Kritikpunkte: - Das Brot vom Bruschetta war sehr durchgeweicht. - Wir hatten erwartet, die Röstitaler seien mehr mit Lachs und nicht separat von diesem. Der Lachs hat uns an einfachen Lachs, wie man ihn abgepackt im Supermarkt erhält, erinnert. Geschmackssache/Tipp: Uns hat das Aioli von dem anderen Gericht viel besser dazu geschmeckt, als das Crème fraîche. Hauptgerichte (Zanderfilet, Pfefferrahmschnitzel mit Steakhouse Pommes, Champignonpfefferrahm und Salatbeilage, Penne Verdura) haben uns alle drei leider nicht überzeugt. - Penne mit Gemüse war mit sehr viel Lauch versehen und hat etwas langweilig und entsprechend zu sehr nach Lauch/Zwiebelgemüse geschmeckt. - Das Schnitzel-Gericht (vermutlich die Sauce?) war scheinbar nicht mehr gut, wie sich später zuhause rausgestellt hat.. - Möchte man als Vegetarier keine Pizza von einem Nicht-Italiener und keinen Salat, gibt es nur noch ein Gericht. Dies ist ausbaufähig. Nachtisch (Tiramisu mit Erdbeeren, Apfelstrudel) war nicht toll/ vermutlich Fertiggericht?. - Apfelstrudel war sehr trocken/zäh (hat uns an ein schlechtes Fertiggericht aus dem Großhandel erinnert? ). Die Vanillesauce hat auch nicht lecker und nach echter Vanille geschmeckt. Insgesamt hat uns das gesamte Gericht nicht geschmeckt. - Tiramisu war okay, wir haben aber bei der Aussage "mit Erdbeeren" mehr erwartet, also nur ein paar Erdbeeren auf dem Tiramisu. Service: - Der Kellner war sehr freundlich, hat viel nach uns geschaut, ob wir noch etwas brauchen und es gab ein Getränk aufs Haus im Anschluss. Ambiente: - Insgesamt ein schöner, gemütlicher Laden. Fazit: Wir werden aufgrund der nicht allzu guten Erfahrung im Bereich Essen dieses Restaurant erst einmal nicht mehr besuchen. Früher war das Essen dort wohl gut, wie auch Freunde/Bekannte bestätigen konnten.
