Chaotic and stressful to watch how overwhelmed the waiters were. The drinks were great, the tapas some ok, some overcooked or not so tasty. The worse was the unfriendly waiters which were so stressed and mixing up orders all the time.

After many years I once again found myself on Leipziger Strasse. My brother and I spontaneously wanted to go to Galicia to eat some tapas. Unfortunately, we were immediately complimented in a friendly but firm manner because the restaurant was closing in ten minutes. It's a shame, because I was interested to see whether tapas and wine are still as good as they were 10-12 years ago. Visually, a lot has changed. At least I think that there used to be wooden bar tables with bar stools and the Spanish country wine, which was very strong, was served in simple wine glasses. The tapas were excellent at the time. We will definitely try this again. I couldn't judge the food this time I didn't find the way they told us that the restaurant was closing pleasant and I liked the atmosphere better at the time. I will definitely reconsider my rating after the next visit, as I will then certainly have a better basis for judgment.

A nice little tapas bar at the end of Leipzig. The food is delicious. Prices in the upper range for tapas. The restaurant is small and cozy. Be sure to reserve.

Flavorful dishes and quite affordable. The fish with vegetables is our recommendation. Please note that they only take cash.

Food average to good, service unfortunately a disaster. You had the feeling that as a guest you were just a nuisance. A pity.

Food 10/10 !!No card payment!! Very loud and not for a quiet dinner So the food was really great. Especially the bread with the garlic cream was simply great. The tapas are otherwise a very good size and are damn tasty. The service is also very polite. Unfortunately the restaurant is very small with many tables. So it's pretty tight and super loud. I almost didn't understand my partner. The lack of card payment is also a disaster for us because we don't carry cash with us. Had to run to the bank and get money. Hence a star deduction.

Delicious Spanish food in a local atmosphere

Spanish place in an area with many bars in Frankfurt. The waiter was very nice and friendly, Spanish of course. Spanish and cold beers, something that is not very common in Germany. We ordered octopus, which was very well cooked, although the potatoes were missing. Very delicious squid. Very well fried anchovies and not at all greasy. They didn't like the potatoes with mojo and the stand so much. We got the impression that they were made for German tastes. The same as the aioli, it lacked garlic. The tapas were quite small compared to tapas in Spain, but they were delicious. We will surely return.

A cozy, small restaurant. We ate 6 different tapas. All tasted very good. Price performance ratio is very good. The menu is very rich. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Immer wieder ein Minispanienaufenthalt

Essen ist Leben. In Galicia scheint es Programm zu sein. Während man auf seine Bestellung schon etwas warten muss begeistert das Restaurant mit seiner Lebendigkeit und die humorvolle Art der Belegschaft lässt die Zeit wie im Wind vergehen. Es bietet sich an danach Termine an der frischen Luft zu planen, da die Kleidung doch etwas nach Essen duftet. Ich gehe immer wieder gerne hin.

Nette Location, Reservierung wird empfohlen. Uns hat es gut geschmeckt.

Partie von 5 Leuten. Wir haben zu dritt eine Paella mixta gegessen - soo langweilig, wenig Hühnchen, kein Fisch, fast kein Gemüse aber 50€! Preis/Leistung hat überhaupt nicht gestimmt. Einer von uns hat eine Lammhaxe bestellt, wie alles andere serviert wurde, hat man gesagt, dass das Gericht leider nichts zubereitet werden konnte, man möge sich doch was anderes aussuchen… Ziemlich krass! Hier gehen wir sicher nie mehr hin! Echt enttäuschend!

Wir waren zu viert in diesem beinahe schon klassischen spanischen Restaurant im Ortsteil Bockenheim. Der Laden ist schon recht alteingesessen und hat seine Fangemeinde. Daher bietet sich eine Reservierung an, vor allem am Wochenende. Der Chefkellner ist ein richtiger Spaßvogel, sehr spanisch und man muß den Humor erstmal verstehen. Die Speisen sind alle sehr spanientypisch und man sollte auf jeden Fall etwas finden, wenn man Tapas mag. Für Vegetarier ist die Auswahl etwas kleiner, aber es gibt auch einige Möglichkeiten wie z. B. Tortilla. Lediglich die Weine fand ich für das Gebotene zu teuer. Kartenzahlung mit "ec-Karte" ist möglich. Bargeld wird aber lieber angenommen.

Einfach nett hier. Super leckere tapas zu fairen Preisen. Reservierung lohnt sich.

Das Essen war super lecker und die Kellner freundlich. Der gebackene Ziegenkäse war eher frittiert und groß und hat mich so satt gemacht, den hätte ich besser mit meiner Freundin geteilt. Ich konnte auch zwischendurch etwas abbestellen, als ich merkte, dass ich schon satt war. Man muss etwas Wartezeit einplanen, da alle Gerichte frisch zubereitet werden, was man auch schmeckt! Parken kann man in der Nähe fast gar nicht, Bockenheim ist immer super voll, daher nächstes Mal wieder mit Ubahn.

Tolles kleines uns uriges Tapas Lokal. Gemütliche und typische Einrichtung, etwas dunkel… Sehr gute Auswahl an Tapas und Tagesempfehlungen. Alles sehr authentisch und frisch. Klassen Hauswein und prima Service, Das Ganze noch zu fairen Preisen. Unbedingt reservieren und ausprobieren!

That was almost wonderful: the food was great and staff was friendly. Location isn't bad either. However, there should be a big neon sign outside saying "primitive payments only, no cards" At least no credit cards and not even Maestro debit cards, with which I can even pay for fruit at a roadside in deepest Poland. Only, if you're lucky, because even that is a bit of a gamble, German EC cards. So: recommended, but only if you're carrying lots of cash on you.

Ziemlich hektischer und gestresster Service. Große Auswahl an Tapas, die alle ganz gut geschmeckt haben, aber nichts überragendes, und für die Preise waren die Portionen ein wenig klein. Würde den Laden gerne noch einmal ausprobieren, aber erster Eindruck ist nur okay gewesen.

Service war unterirdisch. Super genervter Kellner. Essen war dafür top !

5 年前来吃过，那个时候可以坐在外面的侧岩上，不要太惬意了。我们俩人点了7 个 Tabas， 但是第一次吃到不带酱汁的 培根枣，觉得还是很奇怪，跑堂小哥表示此家的一直都是不带酱汁的… 价格比之前贵了，食物不觉得有多好吃，和以前的相比，但是餐厅氛围确实不错👍🏼。 我不会推荐此家，法兰有更好的Tabas

Super leckeres Essen zu einem sehr guten Preis! Wir waren ziemlich überrascht, in den Zeiten der hohen Inflation noch solche Preise zu sehen. Der Service war sehr sehr freundlich und lustig, hat sich sogar bei hohem Betrieb Zeit genommen, um ein Späßchen zu machen.

Delicious spanic food in cosy little restaurant. We had Paella and loved it. Definitely a recommendation. We enjoyed the fish pot as well.

Food was on point. Service was also good considering how busy the place was when we went there. Prices seems to slightly on the higher side IMO. Recommended to try if you are looking for nice and cosy Spanish restaurant in Bockenheim area. Service staff also spoke Spanish.

Das beste Tapas Restaurant in Bockenheim. Selten habe ich so eine leckere Auswahl an Tapas und so guten Sangria probiert. Auch der Service war hervorragend, herzlich und nicht um eine Empfehlung verlegen.

Dishes are ok. But atmosphere is not so good, very dark and small. The worst thing is they don’t accept cards! Even EC card!

Wir waren mit unserer Schwägerin da, die aus Galizien stammt: die Tapas waren okay, eine besondere Verbindung zu Galizien gab es nicht. Der Service war etwas überfordert, auch wenn das Lokal nur zu 2/3 besetzt war. Ohne großen Erwartungen kann man es gut ausprobieren.

Wir waren in einer größeren Gruppe und waren enttäuscht von dem Essen. Die Tapas Portionen waren sehr klein und haben den Eindruck von Fertigessen gemacht. Die vegetarische Paella hat eigentlich nur nach Salz geschmeckt. Der Kartoffelsalat sah undefinierbar aus und hat eher nach Fisch geschmeckt. Die hohen Preise stehen in keinem Verhältnis zur überschaubaren Qualität des Essens. Kellnerin war immerhin freundlich und zuvorkommend.
