This place is almost like a Mad for Garlic store hahaha. It’s full of garlic flavor that Koreans will love!! It wasn't too salty compared to other stores in Germany. Squid is really delicious!! First time in a while at a good restaurant♡

I wanted to tell you about the last dinner we had at the Centro Cultural Galliego Restaurant in downtown Frankfurt. There were 9 of us at work and the restaurant is really easy to reach by subway and S-Bahn. Our boss invited us and reserved the restaurant. The food was really very tasty and delicious! We all enjoyed what was served to us. However, there was one service employee who mostly served us. She was a bit temperamental and often seemed unfriendly and rude, which dampened the mood a bit at times. Still, it was a nice evening.

Our dining experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The service was very friendly and fast, and the atmosphere and decor felt like an average bar in Spain, so there’s no lack of authenticity. We tried a selection of tapas, which were perfectly sized allowing us to sample a variety of dishes. The food itself is okay, but nothing to get excited about. The cold cuts- chorizo, jamón, salchichón, and cheese - were of average grocery store quality. The croquettes we shared, sadly were underwhelming. The bottle of wine we had with the meal was nice, but again, nothing special. You can find this wine in any Galician supermarket. One thing I found particularly noteworthy was the total absence of vermouth on the menu, given its importance in Spanish bar culture. Unfortunately the presentation of the food was lackluster. Apart from the items cooked and served in earthenware, everything else was plated with little attention to detail Overall, it was a fairly average dining experience.

Als unser Bruder kam, ließ er ihn nicht herein. Er sagte uns, wir sollten gehen und rief die Polizei. Die Polizei hat uns rausgeworfen, weil wir Marokkaner sind!

Somewhat hard core, but still very diverse Spanish/Galician cuisine. Inexpensive wines! Good girls in service! It's pretty good, the seafood is very fresh, the squid rings are surprisingly tender, and the sangria they make is very delicious.

It's the 3rd time eating there. All our visits were very good experiences. The food was very good , the atmosphere : was crowded .Lots of people are having fun. I had the grilled salmon. Was really tasty.

I've heard a lot about the Central Cultural Gallego and was really curious about my first visit. Unfortunately, I was rather disappointed with my experience there. The three of us ate there and tried a few cold and warm tapas and shared a grill plate. The latter was truly underground; fried pieces of meat with fries. The tapas were okay but really nothing special. Bacon-wrapped dates, Manchego, chorizo, Serrano ham, fried sardines and patatas bravas. For me, the dishes had a rather bland taste and everything was served carelessly. No dish really convinced me! The service was good and attentive. We were able to express our wishes and the dishes all arrived that way. The atomic sphere looked authentic and quaint. Just like I would imagine in a tapas bar. It's just very loud in the restaurant. It is therefore not suitable for longer and pleasant conversations. All in all, there is potential for improvement.

Food more or less acceptable, nice central location, lively atmosphere/vibe.. The best part: customer service: david and natalia: super positive! Though there was another member of staff who was quite unhelpful and sulking.

You have to take it easy in Spanish. The seating is a bit cramped, so you can't be shy when the waiter runs into you 10 times. Priced homogeneously.

meine freunde und ich haben tapas gegessen und wein/bier/schnapps getrunken. die "roma" kellnerin mit der spange war extrem unhöflich und arrogant, mit einem falschen lächeln. wir haben sie gefragt, wer die besten kunden sind. sie sagte, dass diejenigen, die trinkgueld geben, die besten sind, und dass die marokkaner die schlimmsten sind, weil sie schreien und schmutzig sind. sie war unhöflich zu einigen kunden und zu ihren kollegen. essen und getränke waren ok, aber der service war schrecklich. null sterne.

The typical Spanish restaurant Centro Cultural Gallego in Frankfurt am Main is a particularly hot tip if you like urban Spanish tapas cuisine. The various tapas are very tasty and of very good quality. I especially want the meatballs in 🍅 Tomato sauce, as well as the delicious croquettes with cod, really very 😋 delicious. The Rioja is tasty but could be a little better tempered. The waitresses have a natural Spanish warmth and are very good hosts and hostesses. The bar is also rustic with bar stools and fresh, cool San Miguel beer. A really good address for delicious Spanish cuisine.

Seafood dishes are delicious. However, with all the doors wide open, the staff member smoked outside the door. All the smoke came in and it was difficult to breathe and it was unpleasant.

A real piece of Spain in the middle of the city, with a great atmosphere. The decor is a bit rustic, but it makes the whole thing cozy. There are typical Galician tapas at a fair price and football games with Spanish participation are broadcast. Highly Recommended.

Perfect for a little bit of real Spain feeling. And by this I mean the casual family atmosphere where you can watch football with delicious snacks and laugh louder without the whole crowd looking at you in horror. Love it!

Agregué esta puntuación hace un año en opiniones de google y resulta que al darles una estrella estoy infringiendo las normas, vi que esto le pasó también a otra persona de los comentarios, así no me extraña que tengan tan buen puntaje. Pues aquí vuelvo a dar mi opinión: la comida no me gustó en absoluto, la tortilla de patata estaba super seca y todos los otros platos (calamares y croquetas), estaban grasosos y salados. No recomiendo el restaurante para nada y espero que este comentario no lo borren.

I visited this place in June and put a negative review because of my bad experience there. Today I receive an email from Google telling me that my review must be proven since it negatively affects the business, and that they have sent a complaint asking for it to be removed since they consider that the review is false and can go to the Federal Court of Justice . Well, I'm writing a review again and this time I'm attaching the geolocated photographs I took that day of the dishes I ordered and rated in my previous review. A salad that looked like soup, and some anchovies that, despite asking them to please fry them again because they were soft, did not improve either. I don't think they even bothered to drain the oil before serving them.

I got tired of sausages and meat, so I wanted to eat seafood, so I googled it. It seems to be a popular restaurant and was already full by 6:30, so we were allowed in until 8:00. Every menu that comes out is delicious. A valuable restaurant in Frankfurt, where there is little delicious seafood. It was about €70 for two people. It was my first time in Germany, and even though I can't speak much, I managed to do it, so I hope everyone has the courage to enjoy it.

Erschreckend charmeloses Ambiente, die Tapas sind leider ebenso lieblos und uninspiriert. Im Grunde kaum Optionen für Vegetarier. Das Brot war furchtbar. Der Service war jedoch freundlich, schnell und aufmerksam.

I spent very nice moments here. Birthday party, communion... every time it was a great experience. And to another review here I would like to say the following: A restaurant that has been serving great food for twenty-five years and consistently delights guests should not be judged by a single report. The veterinary office's list of deficiencies certainly includes some points that require immediate and thorough elimination. But that's exactly what happened, according to the report. And I am absolutely sure that the team will put the same care and love into the care, preservation and cleanliness that we as guests are used to with the food. In any case, I will enjoy my food and hospitality there again very soon!

The tapas were okay, the tortilla deserves special mention, which was really delicious, but the albondigas were in a watery, thin tomato broth, unfortunately you couldn't call it a sauce. The service tried hard, but a bit slow. The furnishings are simple and quite attractive. Maybe we'll have better luck next time!

I ve heard so many good recommendations about this place so we decided to visit. Reservations ahead are recommended . Although it is spacious especially on the 1st floor perhaps if you go more than 2 person's u will need reservation. When we arrived and till we order I was really irritated by the bad service. No welcoming had to wait even to be seated and later we had to get ourseves menu and it took almost 20 min and waving many times fill finally somebody came to order. Service is big issue :( however... When we managed to order the food was good. I can recommend this place especially for groups of friends or families. Sharing is caring. Order many different tapas ans share. Big menu and relatively value for money. At least what we ordered was good. I will come again in the future and how the service will be better

Essen hat uns sehr geschmeckt, musste nur jeder etwas nachsalzen. Was aber nicht schlimm ist. Preise mittelmäßig , allerdings ist die hübsche Service Dame eher zickiger und genervt /gestresst und gibt einem nicht das Gefühl das man willkommen ist . Etwas fehl am Platz meiner Meinung nach. Zudem wurde das eigentliche Rückgeld selbstverständlich als Trinkgeld einbehalten, statt es herauszugeben und kurz abzuwarten . In der Regel bestimmt der Gast selbst wie hoch das Trinkgeld ist und nicht das Personal...... ansonsten ganz einfache location n mit Klassenfahrt Ambiente ohne schnickschnack Am besten mit Bus Bahn zu erreichen.

Leckeres Essen, wie in Spanien und tolles Personal. Es ist immer wieder ein Genuss hier zu speisen.

Die derzeitige Inflation ist wirklich übertrieben, und dieses Restaurant ist mein Favorit in Frankfurt. Aber nachdem ich alleine dort gegessen habe, ist mein einziger Gedanke, dass es teuer ist. Trotzdem ist das Essen im Restaurant authentisch und ziemlich lecker, es lohnt sich also. Es ist jedoch ratsam, mit dem Auto zu kommen, da sonst das Parken problematisch ist und auch einige Euro kostet.

Das Essen war solide, gute Tapas aber auch nichts atemberaubendes. Da hat man schon bessere Tapas gegessen. Der Service war leider nur mäßig, wir mussten im Laufe des Abends regelmäßig auf uns aufmerksam machen, um zu bestellen/nachzubestellen.

Es gab große und leckere Portionen bei den Tapas! Der Service war sehr freundlich. Atmosphäre war sehr entspannt und gemütlich, man sitzt sehr gerne dort draußen! Lebensfreude ist zu spüren im Laden! Einziger Minuspunkt: Die Garnelen war mit Darm und extrem schwer zu schälen, beides find ich nicht so toll! Der Rest war aber wirklich super!!! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Restaurant ähnelt vom Ambiente her eher einer Kneipe (ist hiermit jedoch nicht im negativen Sinne gemeint). Vom Service her kann man sagen, dess es zumindest abends nicht zu lange dauert, bis man bedient wird. Das Essen ist bekanntlich eine Geschmacksache und von den drei von mir dort gegessen Speisen haben zumindest mir zwei sehr gut gefallen... - die dritte Speise eher nicht so... Aus meiner Sicht kann man das Restaurant/Kneipe empfehlen. Die Toiletten sind dort übrigens auch sauber...

Typisch spanische Tapas Kneipe, die es in Deutschland so eigentlich nicht gibt. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, die Weine auch. Unser Mittagessen hat 4 h angedauert. Wir waren in Spanien, mitten in Frankfurt. Einfach nur geil!

Das Essen ist gut und authentisch. Der Service war leider katastrophal schlecht. Trotz mehrmaligem Anruf und Absprache war für unser Familientreffen nichts vorbereitet. Die Bedienung lustlos und genervt war mehr mit ihrem Handy beschäftigt so dass wir uns um Getränke immer selbst kümmern mussten. Man fühlt sich wie ein unerwünschter Gast. Die Holztreppe hinauf in den oberen Gastraum war schmierig und man mußte schon als junger und gesunder Mensch aufpassen nicht auszurutschen. Für Gäste älteren Jahrgangs sehr gefährlich.

Probamos poco de todo. Calamares, boquerones, pulpo al ajillo, camarones, natillas, etc todo al centro y todo fue espectacular. Me pareció muy económico y el servicio no es fabuloso pero no es malo. Nos atendieron pronto y eso so mejor reserva porque es un sitio muy popular.

Ambiente: Schlicht in einfachen Holztischen mit Blick auf die Bar, in der oberen Etage nicht so gedrängt, wie im Erdgeschoss. Könnte in der Tat eine einfach Tapas-Bar irgendwo in Spanien sein Service: Gemischt. Eigentlich freundlich und nett, andererseits etwas unaufmerksam, was nicht nur damit zu tun hat, dass der Laden gut besucht ist. Unklar auch, warum man eine einfache Nachfrage des Gastes aus Unsicherheit, also höflich und nett und ohne jede Kritik, persönlich nimmt. Und leider etwas unaufmerksam: In der Gastronomie herrscht Personalmangel, aber das erklärt sicher nicht, warum das vorhandene Personal beim Abräumen und mit Blick auf die leeren Gläser nicht fragen kann, ob man noch einen Wunsch hat. Die nur wenige Meter von einem weg stehenden Bedienungen schauen auch gern an einem vorbei, so dass einiges Winken notwendig ist, ehe man nachbestellen kann. Zu den Speisen: Schmackhaft, lecker, heiße Tapas kommen teils wirklich noch dampfend auf den Tisch, das passt. Passabler spanischer Wein, allerdings nur 2-3 offene Weine, alles andere muss in Flaschen bestellt werden. Die Kritik, dass das nicht viel mit "spanischem Essen" zu tun habe, kann man so allgemein nicht stehen lassen, gerade wenn man in Spanien und zwar abseits von Touristenorten schon mal unterwegs war. Hier soll es auch galizische Küche sein, muss man vermutlich auch bedenken, dass es "die" spanische Küche gar nicht gibt. Allerdings gibt es in der Tat 1-2 klassische Gerichte, die sagen wir mal, etwas eigenwillig neu kreiert sind. Dennoch lecker. Fazit insgesamt: Gut, lecker, ob Tapas oder Hauptgerichte in der Pfanne und Co. Zur Frage hier auf Tripadvisor, ob es rollstuhlgerecht ist, ein Hinweis auf die Barrierefreiheit: Leider gar nicht, was am Gebäude liegt und der Betreiber nicht ändern kann. Mit einem Tisch im EG kommt man mit wie auch immer ausgeprägter Gehbehinderung und selbst mit Rollstuhl vielleicht noch rein, mit etwas rücken der Tische auch an den Platz, aber schon der Gang zur Toilette, eine lange Treppe runter in den Keller geht allenfalls, wenn man noch halbwegs selbst laufen kann.

Nach langer zeit waren wir gestern wieder mal im de Gallego und wir haben es nicht bereut. Der Service war freundlich und trotz der vielen Gäste wurden wir schnell aber ohne Hektik bedient. Wir hatten einmal die Paella für zwei vorbestellt und unsere freunde hatten die Dorade. Was soll ich sagen, alles frisch lecker und auf den Punkt gegart. Die Paella hätte auch für drei gereicht haben leider nicht alles geschafft. Wir kommen wieder!!!

In der Vergangenheit mochten wir das Centro sehr gerne - und die Qualität des Essens war gleichbleibend gut bis sehr gut. Die Preise scheinen recht angezogen zu haben, aber das ist ja aktuell fast überall so. Wir wollten uns dieses Mal eine Fischplatte für 2 gönnen - und das war auf jeden Fall ein Fehler. Es war viel drauf, aber als wären es zu lange gebratene, warm gehaltene Reste, teils schwarz, überwiegend sehr trocken. Die Atmosphäre hat uns aber immer noch gut gefallen.

Leider nicht so lecker. Wenn man nur was trinken möchte ist es ganz ok, aber das Essen hat nicht viel mit Spanischem Essen zu tn zumal die Preise für die Qualität auch echt hoch sind.

My husband and I visited this restaurant for lunch in June 2021 and was our first restaurant meal since we arrived in late 2020. We were so happy we chose this place. The decor was typical of a tapas restaurant in Spain and we were pleased to see typical tapas dishes on the menu. Service was friendly and dishes came out promptly. We chose jamon omelette, tortilla, squid, octopus, meatballs and patatas bravas. Everything was delicious, tasted so fresh, looked great and was very filling. All this plus two beers, a Coke and a coffee came to around €60. Great service, great food. I can’t think of anything to fault it. Will be back.

Sehr authentisch! Hier gibt es hausgemachte, spanische Speisen. Die Preise der einzelnen Tapas sind sehr günstig und auch die angebotenen Weine sind von guter Qualität. Das Ambiente ist einfach, der Service sehr freundlich. Gerne wieder!!

Pedimos algo para tapear, calamares y croquetas acompañadas de 2 cervezas.Las croquetas no eran de casa, pero contando que estas en Alemania y no las encuentras en el súper... Bien. Los calamares estaban buenos y la salsa alioli que los acompañaba también. Las patatas fritas no eran naturales pero el plato era grande así que bueno sin más. Destacar la profesionalidad de la gente que trabaja allí. No pedimos paella pero sobre la mesa había unos platos con una pinta..🥰Lo recomiendo totalmente. Ah! Importante! Se habla español.

Wissen Sie, das Essen und Service war Top! Aber der portugisischer Kellner war etwas komisch, jedoch war er nett. Der griechsicshe Chef war Schön, ich hoffe sehe ihn wieder. Ansonsten alles fit
