The tapas are really, almost without exception, very good and authentic. Unfortunately, when we reordered at peak time (Wednesday, 8 p.m.), we had to wait over an hour, only to find out that the dish we ordered was no longer available - very disappointing. The service is trying to be friendly, but noticeably overwhelmed at “prime time”. There is a need for improvement in organization and service.

The food was tasty but expensive, the service even worse! The staff is overwhelmed and totally hectic, it is not entirely clear which condition is responsible for your table. The waiting time, even though we had made a reservation, was far too long (about 45 minutes). I had to go into the restaurant (more like a pub) to ask for a price list so we could order. Instead of being friendly to customers, the conditions are sometimes cheeky. To my friendly question; Whether the grilled octopus tasted good or you recommended something else, I was told "if it (grilled octopus) didn't taste good, it wouldn't be on the menu". You don't have to have to listen to such cheeky answers for €115, a waitress like that was sent home the same evening.

We were looking for a recommended restaurant with Spanish cuisine and came across Andalucia through a recommendation. The rooms are very cramped and not recommended for those suffering from claustrophobia. The tables are assigned very carefully; you can't come 5 minutes early. The food itself is highly recommended and the prices are absolutely reasonable. The volume in the restaurant is less great, especially when the guitar player starts playing Spanish folk tunes. Don't get me wrong, we love musical accompaniment while eating. However, if the boom box is half a meter next to you and you can only communicate with hand signals, the fun stops. Improvements should definitely be made here, so there is absolutely no risk of this happening again for us.

It is truly amazing how Restaurant Andalucía “values” its guests. Although we had reserved a table in advance, we were “welcomed” with a shrug of the shoulders and a half-hour wait in the entrance area. The service didn't feel the need to apologize - it's probably just part of the charm of this establishment. After writing an honest review about our disastrous experience, we were actually called by the restaurant - not to clarify the situation or apologize, but to insultingly ask us how we dare make such a criticism . Professionally is different. When we subsequently updated our review, the restaurant promptly reported it and blocked it for “defamation.” It seems as if they would rather be concerned with suppressing criticism than improving the service. Since our review has been deleted, we are forced to make it public here on a new account - because everyone should know about such machinations! Overall, our visit was an absolute disaster. If you're planning a relaxing evening, you should definitely look for another place. Good luck waiting for an answer or even a solution - unfortunately we didn't experience it.

Das Personal ist überfordert und total hektisch und springt wie ein verscheuchter Hühnerhaufen hin und her, es ist nicht ganz klar welche Bedingung für deinen Tisch zuständig ist. Die Wartezeit, obwohl wir reserviert hatten, war viel zu lang ca. 45 Minuten, ich musste ins Restaurant (eher Kneipe) um nach eine Preiseliste zu fragen damit wir bestellen könnten. Anstatt den Kunden freundlich zu begegnen, sind die Bedingungsdamen zum Teil frech. Auf meine freundliche Frage; ob der Octopus vom Grill schmeckt oder Sie uns etwas anderes empfehlen wurde, bekam ich zu Antwort; wenn er (Octopus vom Grill) nicht schmecken wurde, wäre er nicht auf der Karte. Solch freche Antworten muss man sich nicht für 115.-€ (für 4 Personen) anhören, so eine Bedienungskraft wurde bei mir am selben Abend rausfliegen.

Even without a reservation (but with the slot until a maximum of 8 p.m.), we were given the menus straight away and assigned a “table for two on the left side” in the courtyard. We chose the spot right next to the babbling (mosquito-free) fountain; a real regeneration on this summer day. The young ladies from the service are not only very stylish in their hot pants (which was already nice to look at in the 70s), but also quick, attentive and friendly. Almost a little too quickly for us old people, as we were asked straight away about what drink we wanted. Sure, “a liter of sangria”…. What are we supposed to look at in a hurry? It tasted delicious and wasn't overloaded with fruit. However, you have to be able to afford the €25.50. Of course I also had to test a glass of white wine. When I asked for a dry wine, I received a Prios Maximum Blanco 0.2 l from Pesquera de Duero/Castile-León, €7.90, which was reasonable for the good taste. Food itself was OK. Calamarus is good (you don't have to have Mojo Verde, olive oil would be much more authentic). Arrogadas barely had any salt on it, but was delicious. Mushrooms very good, olive pate also very good. Polo alajillo unfortunately bad, very intense instant jus taste. The worst thing, however, was the service; there is really a lot of catching up to do here. As soon as we walked in, we were told there were no tables without a reservation, but then it worked, the remaining tables that were free remained free throughout the evening. Very unprofessional. Had to get up twice, once to get salt and pepper and once to order another drink. But the worst came at the end. At 9:45 p.m. they said “I would have to collect from them” when asked why so early it was because of the neighbors (we were outside on the terrace) after which the lady came back every 5 minutes and repeated that we had to leave now When asked if we could continue to enjoy our drinks inside, we were told “No, it’s closed inside too.” Well, it’s just stupid that there were still guests sitting there and 11 p.m. is also stated online as the closing time. I've been there twice now, the first time (on a Sunday) they said "we have to close early today because it's the boss's birthday" and now it's the neighbors' turn. Hospitality is part of the catering industry, and the waitress was cheeky when we left, they literally said “You weren't a special guest anyway” woow, that's very daring and very, very cheeky. We think that gastronomy thrives on hospitality and flexibility, but not on unfriendliness and impudence. In any case, we won't be coming back and we won't recommend it to anyone else. Good friendly service who enjoys working here. The food and wine was very good on both visits! So the atmosphere and food were great. Interiors and installations deserve some attention at some point. What annoys me is the refusal to accept cards. At least the Girocard has reasonable fees and should be accepted. Like many others, I only carry small amounts of cash with me in the city. Paying safely is part of a successful evening.

Absolutely loved this place ! I think that we had the best tapas in frankfurt. Big menu so many options to choose from. Whatever we ordered was delicious. Good value for the money. Reservations ahead are must abs also have in mind to have cash with you..credit cards are not accepted not even EC! Staff was very helpful and professional. However we left with bit bitter taste as we found out that we were charged not only for one platter that was never delivered but also for a second disg that we never ordered. One mistake can happen but two? Thankfully we checked the bill and asked for the money back as it was almost 20 Euros ... I can for sure recommend this place abd I would give it another try in the future.

We were there with a larger group. I actually like coming to you, but this time the service was so disorganized and chaotic that I'm going to look for a new tapas place. Too many tapas and drinks were added to the bill. We had to ask several times for new drinks and we kept being “forgotten” and unfortunately we hadn’t received any new tapas at the table for over 30 minutes during the meal, so we were already pretty full. Paella took almost 60 minutes. Unfortunately, the Albondigas were over-seasoned. Coffee at the end? None.. No coffee was delivered.. really? You also used to accept card payments. Why only cash? The fees and debit and credit cards are really not that high. Before Corona, your restaurant was really a pearl. It's rusting now... What a shame...

It's been a long time to have such a nice diner! This reminds me the travel to Barcelona a few years ago. Even better because it is less salty here! Am sure we will come again! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und fit. Wir hatten keine lange Wartezeit, trotz dass das Restaurant voll war. Es gibt eine tolle Auswahl an traditionellen spanischen Tapas. Aber es gibt auch „große“ Gerichte wie Paella. Das Essen ist schön angerichtet und schmeckt fantastisch! Es kam sogar ein Mann mit seiner Gitarre und gut den Abend mit spanischer Livemusik untermalt. Das hat das Ganze noch abgerundet. Wir können das Restaurant jedem, der so etwas mag empfehlen und kommen selber gerne einmal wieder!

Last week at around 9:30 p.m. the five of us drove from Nidderau to Andalucia because it was a friend's birthday. As a greeting we were succinctly told by a more than unfriendly tap attendant: “We close at 10 p.m., if you want to eat something else, you have to eat and pay by 10 p.m., then you have to get out” In response to our objection that the opening hours until 11 p.m. are stated on the website, the overwhelmed tap conditions were not addressed at all. We sat down anyway because we didn't have many alternatives and then ordered various dishes. The lady who served us was very friendly and when we asked her about her colleague's advice, she said that the kitchen closes at 10 p.m. so you can still sit here afterwards, no problem at all. Maybe the owner should let all his employees know that the kitchen only closes at 10 p.m. and that guests can enjoy their food until 11 p.m. But as I said, I definitely won't eat at a place like this again.

Wir waren letzte Woche um ca. 21:30 Uhr aus Nidderau zu fünft zu diesem Laden gefahren weil eine Freundin Geburtstag hatte. Als Begrüßung bekamen wir von einer mehr als Unfreundlichen Zapfhahn - Bedienung lapidar mitgeteilt: „Wir schließen um 22:00 Uhr, wenn Sie noch etwas Essen wollen, müssen Sie bis 22:00 Uhr gegessen und bezahlt haben, dann müssen Sie raus“ Auf unseren Einwand das auf der Website die Öffnungszeiten bis 23:00 Uhr angeben sind ist die überforderte Zapfhahn-Bedingung überhaupt nicht eingegangen. Wir haben uns trotzdem hingesetzt da wir nicht noch große Alternativen hatten und haben dann diverse Speisen bestellt. Die Dame die uns dann bediente war sehr freundlich und als wir Sie auf den Hinweis Ihrer Kollegin ansprachen, meinte Sie nur die Küche schlissest um 22:00 Uhr da können Sie noch ruhig danach noch hier sitzen ist überhaupt kein Problem. Vielleicht sollte der Besitzer alle seine Angestellte informieren das nur die Küche um 22:00 Uhr schlissest und die Gäste bis 23:00 Uhr Ihr Essen Genießen können. Aber wie gesagt bei so einem Laden gehe ich bestimmt nicht nochmals Essen.

I felt compelled to write this comment because, after reading some negative reviews here, on Yelp, and on TripAdvisor, I almost canceled my reservation. That would have been a huge mistake! Taste: I tried the vinegar anchovies, fried squids, Galician octopus, patatas bravas, and fried shrimps, all paired with house wine. Everything tasted amazing—10/10. The portions are classic tapas portions, just like in Barcelona. I've never been this satisfied with seafood in any place in Frankfurt. I'm so happy I finally found this place. Service: I saw many comments complaining about the service, but in my experience, the service was neat and efficient. There wasn't much chit-chat, but that's fine as long as I receive my food and drink in a reasonable time frame. Price: Given the quality, I was pleasantly surprised by the prices. We have been going to Andalucia regularly since 1998. My review would have been rated 5 stars in 2021. This year we were disappointed. The service was rather lackluster, and in our opinion the food was poor, but what bothered us the most was the loud music. Fantastic food and warm service - these are just two reasons why I love Restaurant Andalucia! The paella is to die for, and the selection of Spanish wines is impressive. Totally recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy real Spanish cuisine.

The paella was the most delicious I had at Ppu! The rice feels moister and less salty than the Spanish version. The bread and olive sauce that come with it are also delicious! As you walk around the restaurant, someone plays the guitar and sings. It has a local atmosphere, which is nice, but personally, the space is small and the music is too loud, making it difficult to have a smooth conversation, so I took off one star!

Service very hectic, The food was catastrophic, I've never eaten anything so bad, I'm Spanish and a hobby cook. - Boquerones fritos, lazwarm, totally dry and rubbery, which is what happens when you fry it several times. - Calamares fritos, were ready-made frozen calamari, that's how they tasted, chewy and rubbery - Gambas al ajillo, favorite tapas, tried it and left it, the oil was disgusting because it was reused. - Small calamari (chipirones) were satisfying. - Pulpo ala Gallega, potatoes very soft, lukewarm, the pulp too tough - Concretas de Pescado, were good All tapas came with too much alioli, unfortunately Alioli was ordered as tapas and it wasn't pointed out that Alioli was a bit sour. In the end I addressed it and reduced the bill slightly. I don't understand the good review at all, something can't work, that's ok, but everything doesn't work, not fresh and old and bad oil.

Great delicious Spanish restaurant Price/performance great 🥳 The interior is a bit small and slightly cramped, but there is a large outdoor area :) The food was delicious, but we were charged for too many drinks when billing... and when we split the bill we had to calculate everything ourselves.

Very good cuisine. Came on recommendation. Great and very fast staff. One of the best Spaniards in FFM we'll be back!

I was visiting this place as it had good food reviews. Elif, our server was so rude. She made my one day of german stopover incredibly bad ! I would recommend to stay away from this place if you want to have a good dinner evening.

I want to try some Spanish food while I was in Frankfurt for a business trip. I took my entire team to this restaurant. The food was really great but the lady who was serving us was extremely rude. It's true we don't speak German, but our server didn't make it easier for us! It was a struggle all evening to communicate and have a decent evening. Avoid this place would be my recommendation!!

My dear gourmets or as they would say in this shop ¡Hola sibaritas! We recently had the pleasure of sampling the delicate delicacies of this enchanting tappas shop and we must say we felt like a nobleman at the Spanish court. The fish dishes in particular made us feel good! Faster than a lithe bullfighter in the bullring, our orders were served with an elegance and efficiency that would make even the noblest matador jealous. The price-performance ratio was extremely good because you can fill your stomach with Spanish little things for just a small thaler. Overall, our visit to this tappas shop was a real pleasure that we can warmly recommend to everyone. An excursion into the world of Iberian delicacies! ¡Adios!

Very authentic and cozy atmosphere. The tapas selection is large, without much tam tam. Simply good, authentic and down-to-earth food. It can be very busy, especially on weekends, so it's always best to make a reservation.

We were in Andalucia today and were super happy! The food was incredibly tasty, the service was incredibly nice, attentive and courteous! We felt so comfortable and had a great evening!!! Some other restaurants could learn something from the great service ;)!!! We will definitely come back and can only recommend this! Thanks to the Andalucia team

Small but nice. The place was packed, but the service was fast and friendly. The food also came very quickly and was really great. It was my first time here and not the last time either. The waitress always tried to serve us as quickly as possible if something was wrong. Reservation is recommended.

Having been to a lot of Spanish restaurants in Spain, as well as in Germany, this come across as one of the bad experiences I had. Staff was very unfriendly immediately upon entering into the restaurant, and I could not really make out what was the reason. It could be that she was having a bad day, but my experience was ruined for the night. We still had a meal there, which was delicious . I suggest just order takeout food here and do not go to the restaurant.
