This restaurant often overcharges customers, especially Asians. Be sure to check the invoice! We ate here today because it is rated #1 in Frankfurt. The food was really tasty but the billing practices are unacceptable. I watched an Asian couple come back with the bill after paying - I immediately felt like they had been overcharged. When we got our bill, I checked it carefully and found that we had also been overcharged by 18 euros. They refunded us the 18 euros immediately. Plus, the employee ended up just taking our receipt without giving us a copy - that seemed very intentional! It seems they specifically treat Asian customers this way, as many don't pay close attention to the bill and often pay together, making mistakes harder to notice. Be careful and check your bill carefully before paying!

We were at Andalucia on Valentine's Day. I reserved a table by phone beforehand, which is always good here because the place gets really busy. Service is quick at the small tables, and the tapas in particular are really tasty. We particularly liked the Queso de Carba con Miel and the lamb chops. Both were really sensational! The pimientos and prawns were also good. If you like “action”, the Chorizo ​​Flameado are of course a must - and a real eye-catcher for the other tables. The food comes with plenty of wine, sangria, or freshly tapped beer. The service is very friendly and everyone spreads a good mood. At first the music was a bit too loud for us, but we were then surprised by pleasant live music. The price is very fair, but we were mistakenly overcharged for two tapas, which quickly makes a difference of 20 euros. We pointed this out and the amount was refunded. The problem is that the food on the bill is only written in Spanish, which makes it difficult to understand what it says. If necessary, you should recalculate again.

I visited with a friend. Although it was a weekday night, it was busy and there was a two-hour limit, so I recommend making a reservation. Die Bedienung ist total nett, das war erfreulich, das Essen ist gut. Da wir in Bockenheim wohnen war ich schon öfters da. Mir fiel jedes Mal auf, dass die Rechnung so nicht stimmen kann. Die letzten Male wurde immer eine Position mit abgerechnet, die wir nicht hatten, so auch dieses Mal. Was soll ich davon halten? Ist es nur ein Versehen oder Absicht? Auf meineAnmerkung hin, kam nur das Gegenargument. Wir haben eine alte Kasse. Ich finde, sowas geht gar nicht.

It's been a long time since I've had a good overall package in the restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was A with stars even though the store was packed. I visited the tapas bar for the first time on a cold and uninviting January evening - and what can I say? It was worth it! The salad with turkey breast, the accompanying beer and the fresh side bread were not only delicious, but also plentiful. For dessert there was delicious ice cream straight from the orange peel. The portions are really generous and the price-performance ratio is more than fair. Despite being at full capacity, my colleague and I managed to get a comfortable table for two, thanks to the attentive and warm service. The atmosphere is familiar and inviting, you immediately feel at home. A place to definitely return to!

Oh my! The Andalucia really used to be our "go to" place when thinking of very good tapas. However, since our latest experience we are reconsidering strongly. First of all you have to reserve your time slot (ours was shortened by 30 mins), too bad it was my wife's birthday. Food rations are getting smaller and smaller (price stable; shrinkflation here you are). Service this time was awful, although we got a cake later. And still, not being able to pay by card in Frankfurt is a no go today. We might try one more time, but will not consider as best Spanish tapas bar in Frankfurt.

We were here for the first time today and celebrated a birthday. The waitresses were all incredibly friendly, which is no longer a given these days. The food was very tasty and the prices are reasonable. I would just recommend making a reservation and possibly coming by public transport. We will definitely come back to eat here.

Service was really on top, waiters are really very friendly. My meat was okay, but it was fried for far too long and was therefore tough. My companion had better luck. Unfortunately the salad was a bit dry, but the shrimp was very delicious.

This restaurant was recommended by a colleague at work as a place where you can eat delicious Spanish food. All the tapas are delicious and some of the dishes have performances so it's interesting😂 The thing that burns is chorizo. You can order paella on the same day without making a reservation! It was full of seafood and tasted like an authentic risotto!

Food is good, service unfortunately not so much. Waited more than 30 minutes for the first drink order to be taken. It doesn't work at all. The waitress was obviously quite stressed and didn't let you finish. Everything had to happen quite quickly when ordering food. The bill at the end was wrong, tapas were overcharged. Card payment is also not possible, an absurdity in 2024 and for me also a reason not to come back. You should write a big note right at the top of the website that you are in arrears and only cash is accepted. The restaurant is also quite loud with a train station feel and someone plays music every now and then, so not for someone who likes it quiet. Comfortable is different. You get thrown out on time. Chairs are already placed on the tables while guests are still there.

Tapas are good with reasonable price. Paella is amazing and the fish soup is a must try.

Heute ist es zum zweiten Mal erneut passiert, dass wir trotz Reservierung keinen freien Tisch bekommen haben, die Wartezeit beim ersten Mal betrug 30 Minuten. Die Wartezeit. Heute betrug 25 Minuten , dann hatte man uns an einen ganz kleinen zweier Tisch zu dritt setzen wollen. Das ist übrigens der absolute Katzentisch im ganzen Lokal. Abgesehen davon ist der Tisch für drei Personen wesentlich zu klein. Wir hatten uns dann entschieden, den Tisch nicht zu akzeptieren und sind gegangen, wobei wir von der Bedienung noch übel beschimpft worden sind. Das Lokal werden wir nicht mehr besuchen und sicher auch nicht weiter empfehlen.

War heute das dritte Mal da, aber das war’s für mich, denn zu einem schönen und gelungenen Restaurantbesuch gehört schon einiges mehr… Erstmal das Thema „Zuverlässigkeit“ Hatte ein paar Wochen im Voraus gebucht, dann 5 Tage vorher eine Stornierung per automatischer Mail ohne Begründung. Keinen erreicht, Mails nicht beantwortet. Nach vier Tagen dann ein Anruf, es sei angeblich ein Systemfehler passiert, wir könnten doch kommen. War zwar Skepsis Nun gut.. „Ambiente/Gemütlichkeit“ Liebe Leute, ein Tisch, der so steht, dass zwei Personen gegen die Wand gucken und die zwei anderen sich kaum verstehen können mit gefühlten 30 cm Abstand zu einer mindestes 20 köpfigen Gesellschaft in einem echt kleinen Nebenraum ist wirklich nicht schön. Teilweise mussten wir uns anschreien um uns zu verstehen. Na ja, jedenfalls war dann klar, warum die kleine Reservierung erst storniert und dann plötzlich doch wieder zugesagt wurde..Erst die große Gruppe sichern und und dann kurzfristig am „Katzentisch“ dazu quetschen bis die Nähte platzen.! Ein NoGo! Anfrage nach Umzug in den ruhigen Nachbarraum wurde abgelehnt da - schon für den nächsten Tag - dekoriert werden sollte. Aha..Als wir gingen standen dort lediglich die Stühle auf den Tischen..merkwürdige Deko😇 Zu guter Letzt wurde ab kurz nach 10! deutlich gemacht, dass es nun auch langsam vorbei sei und sie dann bald die Rechnung fertig machen wollen (bei Schließzeit um 23:00!?Echt jetzt! Super ungemütlich. Null Fehlerkultur und unprofessionellle Reaktion auf Beschwerde. Brauche ich nicht mehr

Das beste Tapas-Restaurant, das ich je besucht habe! Die Qualität der Speisen ist einfach herausragend – jedes Gericht ein Geschmackserlebnis. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Service von Meryem und Elif. Die beiden sind nicht nur unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam, sondern schaffen es auch, eine Atmosphäre zu kreieren, in der man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Der Sänger und Gitarrist hat mit seiner Musik den Abend besonders bereichert – wirklich beeindruckend! Ein kleiner Punkt, den man noch verbessern könnte, ist die Gemütlichkeit des Ambientes, aber alles kann ja auch nicht perfekt sein. Insgesamt ein fantastisches Erlebnis, das wir jedem wärmstens empfehlen können. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

The best tapas restaurant I have ever visited! The quality of the food is simply outstanding – every dish is a taste experience. I would particularly like to highlight the service from Meryem and Elif. Not only are the two incredibly friendly and attentive, but they also manage to create an atmosphere in which you immediately feel welcome. The singer and guitarist particularly enriched the evening with his music - really impressive! One small point that could be improved is the coziness of the atmosphere, but everything can't be perfect. Overall, a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend to everyone. We'll definitely be back!

Hat man so auch noch nicht erlebt! Tisch für 20 Uhr bestellt. 7 Minuten zu früh angekommen und daher wieder vor die Tür geschickt. Extrem und überraschend lustig bei 6 °C ! Trostgetränk zum warmhalten gab es leider nicht. Zumindest war man nicht allein vor der Tür. Und da nun alle kamen, die für 20 Uhr reserviert hatten, war das Serviceteam wohl leicht genervt und schloss die Tür ab! Überragende Lösung! Tischwechsel wie Bettenwechsel im Sommerurlaubsgebiet: alle Wollen rein - alle müssen raus! Das Serviceteam war überrascht; klar, waren alle Tische für 20 Uhr in die 3.Runde geschickt worden; aber muss man in Deutschland immer so pünktlich sein? Also, es folgte ein spektakuläres Durcheinander - war auf Grund der Einzigartigkeit schon fast wieder lustig! Nun zum Essen: war wie immer gut...alles bestens. Ja, es stimmt, die Tapas kommen nicht alle gleichzeitig - und einige werden vergessen. Aber da sollte man etwas weniger Deutsch sein! In Spanien ist die Tapas- Esskultur eh völlig anders. Ausserdem hätten die 6 bestellten Tapas auch nicht auf den winzigen Tisch gepasst. Kompliment an das Serviceteam, das nur aus 2 jungen Damen bestand: nicht unbedingt freundlich - aber auch nicht unfreundlich - irgendwas dazwischen. Rasant ging' es nun zu! Schneller und unpersönlicher kann man Tapas auf diesem Planeten nicht auf den Tisch bekommen. Es war ein wenig so wie bei einer RTL- Spiele- Show. Bei so viel Tempo war der gebuchte 3 Stunden Zeitslot schnell vorbei. Punkt 23 Uhr wurden die Fenster geöffnet: die 6 °C von Draußen waren dann schnell Drinnen! Selten eleganter und ohne viel Worte rausgeworfen worden. Es war sehr lecker - wir waren satt. Aber ein angenehmer Restaurantbesucht sieht anders aus - nicht nur in Bockenheim - auch in Spanien! Wer also mit gefühlter Lichtgeschwindigkeit lecker satt werden möchte, ist hier genau richtig! Wer einen angenehmen Abend beim Spanier verbringen möchte, sollte woanders hingehen - so wie ich künftig auch!

Eating in shifts?!? We ate here with a total of eight colleagues. Basically the tapas I ordered were good. I think everyone was happy with the food. The service was quick and friendly. What we all found really negative was that our time slot was scheduled to last two hours, which my colleagues were not told when making the reservation. When we entered the restaurant we were told that we had a table from six to eight. And in fact that seems to have been the case for all tables, as the shift change happened shortly before eight! Little by little everyone made their way to the checkout, while shortly before eight the next shift was already waiting to finally take over the tables. Unfortunately the evening was over for our group; otherwise we would probably have sat for another hour or more... I would actually like to give a worse rating, that's how annoyed I was... But in the end it will mean that I won't be going here anymore.

Nachdem der Betreiber meine Bewertung entfernen lassen hat hier nochmal meine Bewertung. Ich möchte nochmal klar stellen, dass es mir absolut fern liegt unbegründet schlechte Bewertungen zu schreiben zumal wie ich erwähnte das es früher mal mein Stammrestaurant war und ich quasi direkt gegenüber gewohnt habe. Und meine Frau und ich sind im September dafür 120 km gefahren sind. V Also hier nochmal meine auf google gelöschte Bewertung. Und ich hoffe das der Betreiber dies als konstruktive Kritik nimmt um wieder den alten Standard zu erreichen. Das Andalucia war über viele Jahre mein Stammrestaurant wenn es um spanische Küche ging. Wir waren vor kurzem nach längerer Zeit mal wieder da. Der vorletzte Besuch war leider schon nicht mehr wie es war. Der letzte Besuch wird auch erstmal der letzte bleiben da es doch recht enttäuschend war. Die Tapas waren soweit noch okay wobei hier Qualität und Menge leider merklich nachgelassen haben. Nun zum Service, es war nicht wirklich voll und wir mussten lange warten. Die Tapas wurden einfach völlig ohne Zusammenhang bereitgestellt. Irgendwann kam dann auch mal der Wein. Hier wurde nicht einmal bis zur bestellten Menge aufgefüllt und es war Kork im Wein. Die Tapas wurden einfach wahllos je nachdem was fertig war auf den Tisch geklatscht. Am Ende gab es dann die bestellten Oliven als alles andere schon aufgegessen war... Ich finde es sehr schade diese Entwicklung zu sehen

Leider war der Service unterirdisch. Die Tapas kamen, wann immer 1-2 fertig waren und nach 1, 5 Stunden sollten wur gehen, obwohl wir im Vorfeld per Email für drei Stunden reserviert hatten. Schließlich wurden wir dann keines Blickes mehr gewürdigt und daher sind wir dann doch eher gegangen. In Bockenheim kann man jedenfalls sehr viel freundlichere Abende verbringen.

Eat and leave at 8:00 p.m. or 10 p.m. The women at the counter are trying hard, but the rush makes you feel extremely uncomfortable. Money, money, money…. I got the wrong tapas in the rush. They couldn't help me because there was no time for new ones. The homemade sangria is bland. Overall completely overpriced. Some of the food was good, some of it was disgusting. So mixed. I will never go here again and can't recommend it to anyone!

Yesterday (October 5th, 2024) we were in Andalucia with our daughter and son-in-law (they have been there several times). The service was super nice and helpful when choosing the tapas. The four of us ordered 15 tapas plus bread and aioli. Every single one was brilliant and super tasty. I just realized I use the word super a lot, but that's how it was 👍👍. We'll definitely go back. Über die Qualität der Speisen kann ich nichts negatives sagen. Es ist nach wie vor sehr lecker. Leider kann ich den Service nicht loben. Es fing schon damit an, dass der Tisch nur für 2 Stunden reserviert werden konnte. Wir hatten um eine Reservierung für zweieinhalb Stunden gebeten, die halbe Stunde wurde uns einfach gekürzt. Vei Öffnung begrüßte uns eine Mitarbeiterin mit den Worten :„ Ihr könnt euch einen 4erTisch rechts aussuchen. Bis 20 Uhr!" Dabei drückte sie uns vier Speisekarten in die Hand. Nach der Bestellung kamen nicht alle Tapas auf einmal, sondern nach und nach. Das ist normal, aber sie waren nicht vollständig. Wir mussten noch einmal an fehlende Tapas erinnern, was nicht so einfach war, da wir erstmal jemanden erwischen mussten. Es gab kein "Lasst es euch schmecken" oder ähnliches, die Schälchen wurden einfach auf den Tisch gestellt. Das war's! Auch nach dem Essen, hätten wir sicher gerne noch etwas länger gesessen und vielleicht noch einen Nachtisch bestellt. Doch dies war aufgrund der Zeit, die wir schon etwas überschritten hatten nicht möglich und man fragte uns auch nicht danach. Die Tischzeiten sind so durchgetaktet, dass man überhaupt keine Spielräume hat. Anscheinend ist hier die Quantität der Besucher wichtiger als die Qualität des Services!

Recommended by friends, we went to this restaurant today to spend a nice evening with them. That went completely wrong. We sat in the restaurant, full, lots of noise, good for business. The menu offers the usual Spanish tapas and dishes, drinks include matching beers and wines, sangria, cava etc. All of this is at a rather high price level. The quality, however, was nothing special. The service in the restaurant was shocking. From taking a seat to ordering drinks you had to be patient, but ordering food took longer. Given the busy restaurant, that would have been acceptable if the food ordered had actually been served. Several tips and requests were also acknowledged with a nod, but nothing happened. Such unprofessional service culminated in food ordered but not served appearing on the bill. I found it presumptuous that it was then discussed. And one more thing: Our friends ordered wheat beer, one with alcohol and one without alcohol for health reasons. There were four of us there at around 6:00 p.m. and all we can say is that the tapas were OK and delicious, but the service was really underground. Somehow you had the feeling that the waitress didn't want to do her job. We wanted to order paella at 7:25 p.m., but were told that it would take half an hour and since we could only sit there until 8:00 p.m., this order was rudely denied. Unfortunately, this behavior of the service could be observed among other guests. It's a shame...

Andalucía never disappoints, most delicious tapas restaurant in Frankfurt. Plus, they've got AC indoors for those hot summer days. Make sure to reserve a table ahead, they tend to get pretty full on the weekends.

Food portions and quality sadly not what they used to be. The server held the plates under her nose, sniffing, trying to determine if was pork or lamb what she was serving, now that was unprofessional and somewhat disgusting.

Unfortunately, when we reordered at peak time (Wednesday, 8 p.m.), we had to wait over an hour, only to find out that the dish we ordered was no longer available - very disappointing. The service is trying to be friendly, but noticeably overwhelmed at “prime time”. There is a need for improvement in organization and service.
