Galeria Restaurant in Stuttgart

After shopping at Kaufhof in Stuttgart, we went to the GALERIA restaurant on the top floor. The restaurant was very busy, and we just barely found a seat. Since I hadn't been there in over a decade, it was practically my first visit. Accordingly, I wasn't sure how the ordering process would work. There was also no real explanation of how it would work. There were hardly any signs for the individual dishes. When there were signs, they weren't very informative. Except for a few dishes, there were no ingredients listed. So I didn't know which dish was vegetarian and which wasn't, or which contained fish and which didn't. With some dishes, you can, of course, tell by looking at them, but with others, it's not so easy. For example, with filled dumplings. What are they filled with? Meat? What kind of meat? Or maybe cheese? Allergens were listed, but not in a way that made it easy to identify everything. To be honest, the price list confused me more than it helped me. In the end, almost everything has the same price per 100g. So you take a plate, fill it with whatever looks good, and then take it to the checkout. There, the plate is weighed, and you pay for the food. I paid about €18 for a more or less full plate. Then I added drinks, and that brought the total to €20 per person. The dishes didn't really impress me. The potato salad was very vinegary, the fried dumplings were unusually greasy, and the spaetzle were relatively bland. Nothing was inedible, but I won't be coming back. In summary, you get mediocre cafeteria food for restaurant prices.

I had one of the best apple strudel cakes in my life here, and the homemade waffles are also highly recommended. Personally, I got a very good impression and found the quality to be outstanding. Considering that it's a buffet and doesn't include table service, I found the prices to be quite high and think that it's expensive fun for customers that they can't or don't want to afford on a regular basis. You easily pay over €20 for a buffet plate, and €10 for the apple strudel + a glass of juice. If you were to get everything you wanted, it could be really hard on your wallet - you could even manage to spend €40 here. Quality costs... yes, so we wouldn't be talking about exorbitant prices here, but I think it's very high for the overall package.

We had salmon and redfish here today. Pros: friendly service Cons: there was very little salmon and also quite watery. The redfish was ok. Everything was - let's say very reservedly seasoned. Overall, in my opinion, the price-performance ratio is not right.

Do you think he's a boss of some kind? The type should not be closer than 500 meters from the customers. That's Germany boss old school and I thought something like that had been abolished in Germany. The economy is weakening and should it continue like this? He should look for a job without customer contact! Is there probably a storage room in the basement where he doesn't have to see people?

Almost €20 was charged for a small plate of green salad from the buffet. The plate was definitely not removed during weighing. Cashier very unpaid!

Wanted to redeem my voucher for lunch (vegetable plate). I was told very politely at the checkout that this voucher was only valid for the daily menu. A bit difficult as a vegetarian as the daily menu only included meat. And I don't like Asian menus. I could leave the food there and I would know where the exit is...

Family place, cool, pleasant, delicious food, moderate prices.

I already had a review in it last year, but generally under Galeria with 1 star. Went here again today for dinner. Both meals were very tasty and the price was okay too. We once had asparagus with boiled potatoes and hollandaise sauce and chives. Once tagliatelle with asparagus in cream sauce. Asparagus was very good, not too soft and not too hard. Perfect. A dessert with strawberries and quark. Service was good. Cleanliness has improved a lot, but there are still areas that seem to be overlooked during cleaning. But anyone sitting at the table will quickly notice this. Therefore there is a 1 star deduction. Otherwise we were very satisfied today.

Käsespätzle wetter than I know them. So you pay for too much water. Coffee a little thin, but that may be due to my preference for strong coffee.

The restaurant is on the fourth floor of Galeria Kaufhof at the beginning of Königstraße. Accessible by elevator or escalator. There are many delicacies to choose from. We can choose our lunch ourselves, or we can choose a type of meat (e.g. fried meat) that is prepared locally. You can choose from several types of dessert (cake, cream, fruit). A children's menu is available for children, and there are even small tables with chairs and toys for the little ones.

It's very crowded at lunchtime and you have to wait in line for a long time at the counter for your daily meal, as it feels like there's only one line and everyone has a special request. It is also very expensive in terms of price and is less suitable for everyday lunch (unless you are an employee or receive discounts) But you can sit comfortably and enjoy your food without stress.

Today in Stuttgart, around 3:30 p.m., the gentleman at the food counter was cleaning the hot plate and with his dirty gloves he put meat on the plate to warm up and then on the plate. His gloves were still wet from cleaning. Our food, schnitzel and currywurst with fries, no quality for these prices. NEVER AGAIN

So children up to 10 years old are free, no wonder I paid over €25 for my plate I'm too expensive for this price, the lady weighed the plate and there wasn't that much food. I paid a lot for the food Well, the lady at the checkout was so unfriendly and a lady at the counter was just as unfriendly, aggressive, oh, a smile doesn't cost anything.

Sehr Traurig was hier passiert. Das Unternehmen hat sich eben mal schön mit gefälschten Bewertungen hochgeratet. Vor 1,5 Wochen noch durchnittliche Bewertung 2,7 und jetzt sind wir schon bei 3,7. Und das nicht weil sie besser geworden sind! Sie haben knallhart alle schlechten Bewertungen gemeldet unter dem Vorwand sie seien persönlichkeutsverletzend und man könne nicht beweisen dass man Kunde war. Wahnsinn. Eine riesen Unverschämtheit! Betrug und Schwindel vom feinsten. Meine original Bewertung von vor 5 Jahren: 10€ für einen kleinen Teller Spätzle mit Soße im Selbstbedienungsrestaurant geschmacklich wie Kantinenküche sagen glaube ich alles.

No timely offering of food, very meat-heavy main courses, relatively high prices (see picture) for a canteen atmosphere and always unfriendly service that responds to tips in an annoyed or even angry manner - I've been there several times because colleagues have gone there, unfortunately.

Far too expensive for self-service, the taste was average for me. We're not coming anymore. No wonder you're going bankrupt, unfortunately.

There was really a lot going on this Friday, the line around 12 p.m. almost reached the entrance. A big compliment to the three ladies who prepared the food at the back, despite being busy, they were nice to everyone. The pork schnitzel “Jäger Art” was huge and the fries were excellent, the same goes for the pepper steak. However, the prices for the food, which is weighed at the checkout, are not justified at all. The tables should have been cleaned at some point, and the conveyor belt and the cart when they were returned didn't really interest anyone that day.

Friendly staff, good value for money - especially with discounts. Particularly recommended: the breakfast buffet

Achtung, was hier gerade passiert ist Betrug. Der Inhaber versucht gerade seine schlechten Bewertungen löschen zu lassen! Ich habe gerade eine Mail bekommen, dass meine Bewertung mit dem Text " 10€ für einen kleinen Teller Spätzle mit Soße im Selbstbedienungsrestaurant geschmacklich wie Kantinenküche sagen glaube ich alles." (Das war vor 4 Jahren, inzwischen noch deutlich teurer) Gegen die Persönlichkeitsrechte des Restaurants verstoßen würde. Is klar. Das ist einfach nur eine echte Bewertung welche Tatsachen ausspricht. Traurig, dass man sich so hoch ratet anstatt wirklich etwas zu verbessern. Ich war bei weitem nicht der einzige, der die Preis Leistung anprangerte.

Das Beste ist Spätzle mit Linsen und Saiten oder auch Käsespätzle und Frikadellen. Die Torten sind auch super. Alles andere ist zäh, trocken und nicht essbar. Getränke überteuert. Mitarbeiter alle unfreundlich und nur ein bisschen hilfsbereit. S.B genutzt. Lohnt sich nicht nicht...

Wirklich toll!! Aber bitte auch nochmal in die Eberhardstraße gehen, denn die müssen leider Mitte Oktober 2020 schließen! SCHADE, Tanztee, Kasperletheater, Clownshow und viele andere Veranstaltungen "Made in Eberhardstraße DINEA" waren so toll! Die Einführung der 1. Kinderecke DINEA's in der Eberhardstraße Stuttgart war eine echt gute Idee. Bleibt nur zu sagen "Schade, Schade, Schade" dass ihr in der Eberhardstraße Stuttgart schließen müsst.

Essen gut aber etwas zu kühl, könnte heißer sein.

Der Kaffee war ok, meine Frau und ich sind durch unseren kolumbianischen Kaffee verwöhnt und ziehen deswegen ihn immer zum Vergleich heran. Die Salate sahen gut aus. Die frischen Fruchtsäfte schmeckten auch, die Speisen waren von der Optik her ok, haben nichts gegessen. Im Allgemeinen sieht halt alles aus wie aus dem vergangenen Jahrhundert, sowohl das Restaurant als auch Galeria Kaufhof

Man Kann hier gut Essen ist nicht Teuer allso wehr Zeit und lust hat solte mal reinschen

Meine Bewertung ist für das Frühstücksbuffet Ab 10.15 Uhr wird schon das Buffet wieder abgebaut , damit Platz ist fürs Mittagessen . Wenn man also nochmals was holen möchte , bekommt man so gut wie nichts mehr weil alles weggeräumt wurde . Heute war die Wurst und der Käse nicht mehr frisch , der Quark war schon leicht ranzig ... das darf eigentlich nicht passieren . Die Qualität lässt nach , vor einem Jahr war das noch ganz anders

Kaufhausrestaurant mit relativ großer Auswahl. Selbstbedienung, Grilltheke, Getränketheke, Kaffee und Kuchen. Alles zu angemessenen Preisen.

The restaurant is located at the top floor of Galeria Kaufhof shopping mall. Traditional German food, spacious and cozy place, very friendly and welcoming staff. All dishes are fresh, well arranged, a lot of veggies, chicken, meat. Side dishes are just delicious! Deserts are also fresh and delicious. Try to get there before 16:00. Buffet breakfast is available.

Wenn man im sommer dort geht muss mal was dort kalt essen

Ordentliche Kantine im 4. OG des Kaufhauses Galeria Kaufhof. Das Essen ist ordentlich und sehr facettenreich - Geschmacksexplosionen sollte man hingegen nicht erwarten. Neben klassisch deutscher Küche (Schnitzel, Zwiebelrostbraten, Linsen etc.) gibt es noch einen asiatischen Bereich indem die Gerichte frisch und je nach Wunsch im WOK zubereitet werden. Fazit: Für ein schnelles Essen gibts ordentliche Kost zu überschaubaren Preisen.

Restaurant im Kaufhof Stuttgart. Das Essen ist für diese Art ein es Restaurants recht gut. Allerdings auch nicht gerade preiswert.
