After many mediocre owners, there's finally a good one again. The food is good, the service is good, and the prices are reasonable.

A restaurant like in the old days – nostalgic, good, friendly and inexpensive.

The food was good, but there aren't any other positive reviews. The dining area smells of a mixture of cigarette smoke and alcohol. The music is very loud. In my opinion, it's more of a pub.

A nice restaurant with a great beer garden. First-class service and friendly. The menu is well-organized and features Swabian dishes. The meatballs are incredibly fluffy and delicious. I'd love to come back.

Delicious, plentiful food, delicious beer, kind service.

Idyllically located between the stadium and the gas boiler, tucked away near the stadium's festival grounds. The new tenant took over in 2024 - it's worth stopping by! We sat in the beer garden at the Tuesday barbecue evening, where we served red meat/grilled steaks with homemade Swabian potato salad. Family atmosphere - we'd love to come back.

Very good home cooking at an affordable price. This has become rare - it's good that people are staying consistent here. The roast pork with dumplings is amazing. And when the weather is sunny you can sit comfortably in the yard. Gladly again and again.

Some time ago we had a bite to eat here while visiting the stadium. I have to say, I have rarely eaten so badly. No taste, carelessly prepared... simply underground. You also had to wait an extremely long time for your food. No organization and absolute chaos. I will avoid this location in the future.

Always happy before VfB games. Best cuisine, everyone nice, fast and friendly. I was there today with my mom and finally ate the Maultaschen. What can I say: sensational Old recipe from Anke's mother with a sauce to sink your teeth into and delicious potato salad. Also cheap. It doesn't get any better.

A restaurant that is developing well and where I enjoy eating and drinking. What I miss a little is the support of the association with regard to the further development and renewal of the restaurant, taking into account the tenant's good ideas. Investments in the infrastructure should not only be made in the tennis hall, the restaurant can also generate new funds for the club through investments in the building and the surrounding area. I think the current tenant deserves more support, he is on a very good path. I have been following the SSC for two decades, and in no previous tenant have I seen the enthusiasm and drive for innovation as much as in the current one. I like going there and please support the tenant, they are doing really well and living it. 👍💪😍

Our popular meeting place before all home games, for socializing and just because. Very tasty home-style cooking, especially the Maultaschen, the meatballs (definitely eaten with gravy, yum) and of course the homemade potato salad. We were there for the second time in the evening in a larger group and each time we were allowed to stay longer than the actual opening time without any problems. Very friendly staff, with one exception, well. The place is always very nicely decorated!

Not recommended. Food is cold. Service totally unfriendly, rude. Toilets not clean and no soap available.

The four of us from Palatinate (58-83 years old) found the club restaurant by chance before attending a musical and did everything right. The restaurant was lovingly decorated in the run-up to Christmas and you immediately felt at home after a chat with the innkeeper and landlady. Home cooking of the best quality is served. Highlights include the handmade Maultaschen and the Kässpätzle. A wonderful treat for the palate. On the next visit I promised the landlady to bring a new Dubbe glass from the Palatinate, which she had lost due to broken glass. I'll remember it!

Food is fresh and super tasty. Small clubhouse atmosphere. The owner said she took over the shop in August, super nice and lovely lady, it's worth a visit if you're here for a concert anyway.

We were here for the first time today, so we can only recommend it. The food, the drinks, the service and the boss were really nice and not “fake”. We would be happy to come back and recommend this restaurant to others.

A club restaurant as we know it from before, and in a positive sense. Eating and drinking is good, home-style, just like the prices. Meeting point for many VfB fans (more middle and older semesters) before VfB home games

The Swabian food really makes every visit a pleasure. There is also lots of space, a good atmosphere and really nice people! I'd love to come back!

Great location but the food is not that great and I don’t think much of it is made fresh. But nice setting and the service was lovely.

There are several people here and I am a restaurateur myself. The service was top, very nice gentleman, fulfilled all wishes satisfactorily, including the children's special wishes 😅 yes it took a little longer, but you can't share and there was a lot going on. The food was very tasty especially the currywurst and the burgers. Everyone was completely satisfied, thank you very much 🙏🏻

After 1.5 hours the food was still missing, we then got the drinks and left. Very annoying that you can't coordinate the few tables outside, why people who came much later got their food long ago is a mystery. Our three young children were of course thrilled to make the journey home without food.

Close to the stadium but very hidden at another sports field. There is a large beer garden outside where European Championship games are broadcast. DJ played music. Food ok so far, fries but very hard! Service itself is good. Fast and friendly. Unfortunately, late at night there was a loud incident between a guest and an employee, in which threats and insults were made to each other. Whoever was to blame. Not very professional if I want to be a restaurant that charges restaurant-like prices. 15€ for a schnitzel. More expensive than, for example, in the Schönbuch brewery. Then I don't expect any insults from employees like in a football clubhouse.

Before VfB, an extensive visit to the SSC Gastsätte is an absolute must!!!

After a day in Stuttgart with lots of people, this restaurant on the outskirts of the city was the change we were looking for.

Seldom eaten so badly. The restaurant is very pretty inside but unfortunately the food is below snack level and not worth the money.

We ordered through Wolt and were thrilled - the food was really tasty and there was also a mini dessert. Above all, the small, really fresh salad with pine nuts, pomegranate seeds and the like was delicious!

It's right next to the Stuttgart team's home court. The proprietress is very welcoming and the burgers are very delicious. It was so delicious that I forgot about my license plate.

... if you need someone to open and warm up packages and/or bags of ready-made food, this is the place for you. Even though the service was nice and helpful, I unfortunately can't give it more than 1 star. For me this is not gastronomy. That's - phew, difficult. I don't mean to be mean, but the food is an insult to anyone's palate. Sorry.

Aufmerksame und schnelle Bedienung. Speisen (Gulasch bzw. Kasnocken, + Dessert) während der Südtiroler Woche geschmacklich sehr gut. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis absolut in Ordnung.

Wir sind hier gestern zufällig gelandet und haben es nicht bereut....obwohl das Restaurant eigentlich noch nicht geöffnet hatte, wurden wir herzlich empfangen. Mein Mann hatte einen Schweinebraten mit Speckknödel, was sehr heiß serviert wurde,die Knödel waren ganz frisch zubereitet....mein Mann sagte,die Knödel sind richtig lecker,schmecken wie zu Hause, und das ist bei meinem Mann ein großes Kompliment, auch der Braten war sehr zart. Ich hatte eine Leberknödelsuppe,der Knödel war auch frisch gemacht und sehr lecker,danach hatte ich noch Zwetschgenknödel mit Vanillesauce,die waren ein Gedicht. Die Wartezeit von ungefähr 30 Minuten nahmen wir gerne in Kauf,da frisches Essen besser schmeckt, als Tiefkühlkost 😊

War hier zu Besuch bei der Südtiroler Woche. Essen war mega lecker und das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich habe mich rundum wohl gefühlt und werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Die Südtiroler Woche war eine ganz tolle Idee! Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend mit sehr viel Gaumenfreuden.👍 Bei mir gab es einen Bauerntoast, der ist sehr zu empfehlen! Das heißt: Wunderbare Vinschgauerle mit Leckereien aus Tirol, schön warm (von einem sehr aufmerksamen und super freundlichen Kellner serviert)😀

Ich war begeistert, schnelle Bedienung und hervorragendes Essen. Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Das Gulasch mit 2 Speckknödel war zart, lecker und ausreichend! Die Zwetschgenknödel ein super leckerer Abschluss. Komme gerne wieder!

Zum ersten Mal dort gewesen . Speck Knödel mit Gulasch war super lecker ! Schade drum das die Südtiroler Woche nur eine Aktion ist.

Muss nun sagen das die Vorwürfe von 45 min. warten nicht ganz korrekt sind und das ein Knödel 20 min. braucht alleine und so voll wie der Biergarten war ich schon damit rechnen muss das man 45. min warten muss. Finde darin nicht schlimmes. Aber nun zur Sache, ich als Südtiroler fand das Essen super lecker und kann nur sagen fühlte mich wie Zuhause. Bewirtung war super und nett und Schmeckte wie gesagt authentisch. Kann es nur empfehlen diese Woche auszunutzen und dort Essen zu gehen und bitte nicht auf die Uhr sehen, man wird gut entschädigt durch handgemachte Speisen . Gerne Wieder

Zur Südtiroler Woche hier gewesen. Das Essen, Südtiroler Spezialitäten waren hervorragend. Ich hatte Rinderbrühe mit Leberknödel und Rindfleisch Sauer, beides sehr gut. Der Kellner war sehr aufmerksam und außerordentlich freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Edit: Das gilt nicht nur für hier, was sind das für Leute, die 1 Sterne 🌟 Bewertungen geben, aber nicht mal in der Lage sind einen Text dazu zu schreiben? Konstruktive Kritik sieht anders aus.

Sehr empfehlenswert und super Service

Heute leider Katastrophe in der Küche. Über eine Stunde auf das Essen gewartet und dann haben immer noch Essen gefehlt. Nicht als Gaststätte vor Veranstaltungen wählen wenn man auf Termine fertig sein muss.

Es hat gedauert, aber... Maultaschen sensationell. Bedienung sehr freundlich.

Sehr nette Bedienung. Hat mir beim bevorstehenden regen mit einem Müllsack als Regenjacke ausgeholfen ☺️. Essen hat auch gepasst. Maultaschen sind zu empfehlen.

An einem warmen Sommer Sonntag-Mittag sind wir im SSC eingekehrt. Wir wurden freundlich darauf hingewiesen, dass es nach dem Urlaub nur die Karte auf der Tafel gibt, was kein Problem war. Bestellt hatten wir einmal den Maultaschen Klassiker und einen vegetarischen Burger, den Halloumi Burger. Der Burger war eine leckere vegetarische Alternative zu einem echt fairen Preis, Pommes waren etwas zu salzig aber dennoch lecker. Bei den Maultaschen Klassiker war definitiv zu schmecken, dass das kein Stangen Produkt war. Sehr lecker, für meinen Geschmack hat bei der Soße und bei dem Kartoffelsalat etwas Pfiff gefehlt, daher 4 Sterne. Netter Biergarten in VfB Nähe. Die Servicekraft war auch sehr freundlich.

Ich war mit meiner Tochter am Samstag dort Fußball schauen.Wir haben Wurstsalat und Geschmälzte Maultaschen gegessen.Das Essen war Super lecker. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich. Kann Ich nur weiterempfehlen. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Bedienungen super nett! Vegetarische Gerichte sind aber wenig kreativ und wirken wie meist in Deutschen Restaurants eher als „nerviges Muss“. War das Geld nicht wert!

Wir waren von der Qualität des Essens sehr positiv überrascht. Frischer, knackiger Salat mit tollem Dressing. Sehr leckeres Cordon bleu mit knusprigen Pommes. Service sehr aufmerksam. Und der Preis auch sehr gut. Kurzum was will man mehr. Dass das Ambiente natürlich nicht jedermanns Sache ist, ist für uns zweitrangig gewesen. Wir können diese Gaststätte sehr empfehlen.
