The food was very tasty and good. It was very crowded and therefore also very loud.

Always consistently high standards. It's simply a lovely brewery in the heart of Braunsfeld. It's a true part of this neighborhood. A lively and upbeat atmosphere with the certain noise level that goes with it. The Kölsch is delicious and the food is excellent. The service is also excellent. In summer, the beer garden is a great place to sit. Luckily, it's going to be that time again soon. I highly recommend it.

An old brewery with a beer garden in a backyard in Cologne's Müngersdorf district. The interior is rather uncomfortable. The home-style cooking is good. We tried a variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. Prices are high. The waiters are pushy, constantly bringing new beers to the table before the first glass is even close to being finished.

A very nice brewery in a corner that doesn't have a high density of restaurants of this type. Despite the certainly more affluent surroundings, the prices here are still acceptable. I can't help but complain that a Kölsch for €2.30 is a bit steep for my taste, which is why, also considering the presumed economic necessity, I'd like to deduct a star. Otherwise, everything is as you would expect from a brewery. Nice waitresses, pleasantly cozy lighting from typical bull's-eye windows, lots of wood and no music, and Cologne-style dishes, all of which were very tasty. Excellent. And outside there's a picture of the Virgin Mary, very Catholic, which I like. I'll be back!

We've eaten there two days in a row now and were extremely satisfied both times, with the food, the ambiance, and of course, the service. Unfortunately, we left a day early, otherwise we would have been able to try something from the winter menu. But we'll definitely be back.

After our after-work beer, the man behind the bar gave us such a nasty look and urged us to order something else that we decided to leave after 30 minutes. When we asked if everything was okay, we were told they were just trying to clear the tables quickly for customers to drink. We finished all our drinks. We definitely won't be coming back for the after-work beer, and we definitely can't recommend it. Not very Cologne-style!

We came from Hamburg and wanted to enjoy something authentic, where many Cologne residents also stop. The recommendation came from Iris from the super dry shop. The waitress Nina was so wonderful with us on a beautiful summer evening in the beer garden. We were absolutely thrilled and are already looking forward to the next time! The knuckle of pork was perfectly crispy and heaven and earth, a feast for the palate.

The food was truly awful! Our fried potatoes were burnt. And the gravy was so thickened that it was more like jelly. A real shame for a lovely restaurant in a lovely part of town.

We went for dinner on a Thursday evening with two people, without a reservation, and managed to get a seat in the beer garden. The noisy main street directly in front of the restaurant is completely hidden from the beer garden, which is located at the back. The service was very friendly and prompt, the food was delicious, and the prices were absolutely fair. I can recommend the Gaffel in Marienbild to everyone.

An unbelievable €16 for a small shepherd's salad. See photo. I asked for it without paprika and got significantly less than my companion (with paprika). The salad wasn't dressed, no sauce or herb curd or butter, nothing, tasteless! The bread too. I was annoyed. I won't order it here again.

We ate at Marienbild this evening during our stay in Cologne. We received a very warm welcome and had a nice table. The service was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a cold beer and a very delicious meal. The menu is varied and features dishes that not every brewery offers. The daily specials are definitely worth a look. The whole experience would be rounded off with a delicious dessert. This won't be the last time we go there. For those who like to sit outside, there's also a lovely beer garden. We highly recommend it.

Delicious Kölsch and delicious food in a pleasant atmosphere

Yesterday we were at the Marienbild again. The food was very bad. The roast beef and the veal schnitzel tasted slightly sour, the salad, which is usually particularly good, consisted of more or less limp leaves of various lettuces and was covered with a completely acidic salad dressing, the wild garlic potato meatballs with sheep's cheese tasted like rubber paste. It seemed to us as if the trainee chef had tried to do his best. He still has a lot to learn. It's a shame, we really enjoy eating at Marienbild, but yesterday it was a scary experience.

Traditionally Cologne-style warmth in the brewery with great service. It's an institution at FC's home games, so there are very few seats. The crew can cope with any stress and is always available for a friendly dialogue. Gladly again at any time.

Delicious ice-cold Kölsch on tap and a rustic, good atmosphere. The Köbesse and Jakubinchen are in a good mood and are also up for some fun. The classics are highly recommended and there are always delicious surprises on the daily menu.

The fact that I am vegetarian and that I am currently difficult to use in the kitchen with food restrictions such as wheat-free, cow's milk-free and no raw food is my issue. However, the fact that I was served the leftovers from the deep fryer with the leftover side plate of fries and that a "large plate" of fries was added to the bill is more than cheeky. On my next business trips I will certainly not give in to the wishes of colleagues (good sources of income) to go to Marienbild!

We had hoped for more😳 Köbes was completely overwhelmed. We would have liked to drink more and eat dessert too, but that wasn't possible. He couldn't keep up. There were empty plates and glasses on almost every table. There was no help either. The young man who unprofessionally brought out food went back to the counter empty-handed. Lost time. There were enough waiters bustling around in the front counter area, including the boss.

Terrifying!!! Today I had the Champion Rahm Schnitzel with fries and salad! I am very disappointed and also scared. The schnitzel was definitely convenience food, at least that's how it tasted. The ppmmes were very dry and didn't taste like anything. The sauce contained 3 small pieces of mushrooms. The dish costs €24.50, which for me is significantly overpriced for the quality of the food.

It was absolutely delicious there. Cool Cologne atmosphere. I would suggest reservation. However, you can also relax and wait for a free table using a gaff at the counter.

Service underground. We were there with over 20 people. Went there at 8:00 p.m., then everyone left around 11:00 p.m. because nobody had anything to drink and nobody showed up. During this time there were maybe 3 or 4 drinks for everyone. Really lousy for a brewery. Normally “Köbes” comes by every 10 minutes with a beer wreath. Here - none. The kitchen is closed without asking who else would like dessert. So friendliness and good service are a long time coming here at Marienbild. The next Christmas party will definitely be somewhere else, of course!

We sat exactly opposite the kitchen and next to the toilet.🤔 We waited almost 60 minutes for the food. Conclusion if you have time, you can go, but without me.
