Fuya in Waldshut-Tiengen

We went for lunchtime, and my first impression was wow, the place was quiet and nice ambiance. Friendly staff and they served quickly. So we are expecting fine Asian food. The starter was great, with tasty soup and spring rolls, but as soon we got our main dish, we were quite disappointed with what we ordered.

You can eat gluten-free. Top service. Very friendly. Thank you for that.

There's a good reason why Fuya is always full to the brim. The food is good, the service is top and the price-performance ratio is also good. There is also a huge selection of dishes, there is something for everyone.

We were there today and the food tasted very good and exceeded our expectations. The service is very competent and friendly. Quick preparation and great location! Lots of parking nearby and a parking garage in front of the restaurant. We'd love to come back! THANK YOU:)

We have eaten at Fuya several times and in short, it is the best Chinese restaurant within 100 km. I know this because I have tried a few. Everything is right here. Food is extremely tasty. The service was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has a very pleasant atmosphere. What I want to emphasize, and please don't misunderstand, is the facility. It's not like your average Chinese restaurant. You still feel Far Eastern, but simply modern and contemporary. But that's just a detail. The cuisine is simply delicious, tastier, tastiest. Above all, the price/performance ratio is right here. You can also afford it as a family and let me put it this way, I'm happy to leave my money here because everything is just right. Thank you for the great service.

The food was really terrible and didn't taste good at all. Hans wasn't even fried properly. The staff is nice but you walk around between the tables the whole time, you don't feel comfortable at all, you feel like you're being watched the whole time. They don't deserve the 4.5 star rating.

We went out to eat with my friend today and even though it's sad to say, the food was a big disappointment as someone who has been eating Asian food for years and is very enthusiastic about the cuisine. Unfortunately, I didn't find the food tasty, the fried noodles with them Shrimp were not deveined and there were almost no vegetables. Furthermore, my friend had fried rice with chicken which was like mush and tasted terrible. Sushi was okay but not fresh, you could clearly tell that the ingredients were from the previous day. We only had to wait 5 minutes for it, which suggests that it wasn't freshly prepared either. As someone who has been working in the catering industry for years, I find this strange. The service team was attentive, but we felt like we were constantly being watched and they were constantly running through the fish. Overall I found it sad because according to Google it had very good reviews. Very disappointing, especially the food was way too expensive for the service. It was our first and last visit.

I can only recommend it, I haven't had such a good sweet and sour dish in a long time.. keep it up 👍🏼

was always very satisfied, but the food is getting worse and worse. The duck was far dry and the sauce was totally greasy. The spring roll was so drowned in fat that it was almost impossible to eat. When I first spoke to the waiter and then to the manager about this, there was no apology, just the other guests like it that way. Also, no common courtesy-nothing. I was a regular here but definitely won't be coming again. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos

everything was perfect, I'd love to come back. You can choose anything, not just sushi, I love this concept. The service was very attentive and above all nice, I felt really welcome there.

Disappointing experience! We had lunch with the all you can eat formula, the food was decent, not worth the money spent. It's better to maybe eat a plate of udon or something fried. We ordered a second course of prawns in sweet and sour sauce from the menu (21 euro dish if we hadn't done the all you can eat deal) and they brought us 4 fried tempura prawns (the same ones, which you found on the starters page). When I politely asked the waiter if it was tempura prawns, the starter which cost around 6 euros, or prawns in sweet and sour sauce, which cost 21 euros, he clearly mocked me by saying they were prawns in sweet and sour sauce only because there was a small portion of sauce for dipping the tempura. So we decided to find out how true that was, ordered the tempered shrimp from the appetizer menu and got the same shrimp that we got when we asked for a second course of fried shrimp in sweet and sour sauce. We'd rather you tell us the shrimp is done than make fun of it. Never again in this place. There are many other good restaurants in Waldshut!

The staff is extremely friendly. In no other restaurant have I been served so well and attentively. I go to Fuya regularly and am always impressed. The food is phenomenal, especially the sushi, the quality and freshness of which you immediately notice. I have never had such freshly made sushi in any other restaurant. The ducks are a hit too. All the friends I brought with me were also very enthusiastic. Every birthday is celebrated there. Try the Chicken Karaage!

A safe address for good food and service for years!

Delicious and affordable, we'll definitely be back. But what almost bothered me a little bit was that when we were eating we were asked by someone new every 2 minutes if everything was okay.

I have no words for how bad service can change the taste of the food. We had 2 hours to order what we wanted and half of the order was deliberately forgotten for EVERY damn order. When we complained about the third order that came incomplete, we were told that we should finish it first. As you can understand, we were only able to order 3 times and less than half of what we ordered came. The waiters were also not allowed to take orders, only the man in charge of the restaurant. They deliberately organized this and dragged it out so that we could order less. The food wasn't bad but the concept and service really deserved a 0. The best sushi we have ever eaten and the other dishes are also at the top level. The service there is very friendly. The restaurant is very nice, cozy and clean. The “all you can eat” option for €35 is definitely worth it to test and enjoy the really extensive offering.

We were at Fuya this evening We didn't have much time. We were back outside in less than 30 minutes. The service was very nice and the sushi was extremely good. The waiters are all super nice. Thank you for the fast and lovely service!

35 euros all you can eat. Service 1A, the nice lady tried non-stop to make sure we got everything. She was extremely friendly and authentic. The food was okay, we mainly had sushi but we were probably the only ones in the restaurant. We think the main courses are very good, so we will certainly return for them. All in all a worthwhile experience and value for money is definitely right!!! Thanks Fuya!

We went for all you can eat on a hot Sunday. Luckily the restaurant is air conditioned. The staff is top. Although the restaurant was very busy and the staff were busy, they were always friendly and hardly showed any signs of stress. We ordered across the menu. All very good! Including the flambéed vanilla ice cream at the end! We'll definitely be back.

A fantastic restaurant with fantastic waiters. After a long time I visited the restaurant with a couple. We were thrilled with the food and the service. The owners are very accommodating and will fulfill your every wish. My daughter was really noticed and pampered. The restaurant deserves more attention, we will definitely go again soon. We paid all u can eat for 55.00 euros per person including drinks. Just right for the selection you have and for the many drinks we ordered.

Very very friendly staff. I really have to say there is nothing to complain about. Even in stressful situations, the employees have everything under control and the food is very tasty. Dogs are very welcome and are served with treats and something to drink. We really enjoy going there and can definitely recommend it.

Durch Zufall haben wir mal bei durchqueren von Waldshut das Fuya entdeckt und sind dort eingekehrt. Netter Empfang in dem noch recht leeren Restaurant um kurz nach 18h. Wir entschieden uns für das All-you-can-eat. Essen was das Herz gegehrt. Ich muss sagen, egal ob die Vorspeisen, das Sushi, die warmen Gerichte aus der Karte oder das Dessert, es war alles lecker und ausreichend, sodass wir nach mehr als 2 Stunden mit kugelrundem Bauch wieder gegangen sind. Gerne werden wir wieder einmal vorbei kommen.

We used to love Fuya especially for the running buffet. Anyway, have now tried it again. The service was very nice, but sometimes we were served by four people at the same time and asked the same thing over and over again. Food was good. The “special” thing used to be simply the running buffet. We would be really happy if it came back.

By chance we discovered Fuya while crossing Waldshut and stopped there. Nice reception in the still quite empty restaurant shortly after 6 p.m. We opted for the all you can eat. Eat what your heart desires. I have to say, no matter whether it was the starters, the sushi, the warm dishes from the menu or the dessert, it was all delicious and sufficient, so that we left after more than 2 hours with a bulging stomach. We would be happy to come by again.

Mediocre sushi, very small menu offering, very salty soy sauce, then the price is exaggerated for what is offered. The only good thing was that the waiter spoke English well and was very kind.

Great restaurant. In contrast to its neighbor “Asia Restaurant Pang”, the service was very nice and the food tasted better. In addition, Fuya doesn't have as loud music in the background as in the Asian Restaurant Pang. Although the music is relaxing, it is much too loud that I sometimes couldn't understand what I was saying. That's why from now on I only go to Fuya when I'm in Waldshut.

First of all I have to mention; it had Running Sushi until 2020. Unfortunately, Fuya has had to do without some things since the Corona pandemic, including the running sushi. It is difficult to find skilled chefs for this. The restaurant is still very chic and clean. The service is there like a flash and extremely friendly and always courteous, if not personal... which I could definitely enjoy, although I usually go for Peking soup and Szechuan duck, I did try the Korean bulgogi ✓. It can only rarely happen that something takes longer when the charge is full, but that's understandable. If I want to put my wife off after a tough day, a visit to Fuya is always a good idea. 😏

We - my wife, our baby and I - recently had the great pleasure of dining at Fuya Restaurant in Waldshut and it was a phenomenal experience 😍. Despite the hustle and bustle, the food was fantastic and the service from all the staff was first class 👏. Everyone was super attentive and made us feel totally comfortable. Our only regret is that we didn't take a photo of our delicious meal, but that just gives us one more reason to return. Absolutely recommended for anyone who appreciates first-class cuisine and friendly service. We'll definitely be back! 😋😋

The store used to be great and we were there regularly. We were particularly impressed by the running sushi. A few weeks ago we spontaneously went again after a long time and lo and behold... there is no running sushi anymore?!? Well, okay, not good, but then we'll just eat a plate and then leave, we thought. It was horror. In terms of taste, it was simply a disaster because nothing tasted like anything. We had to soak chicken, duck and noodles in sweet and sour sauce and soy sauce in order to eat it. No lie, every 2 minutes the waiters came to us and asked if everything was okay. In the long run it was so annoying. And in terms of price, the whole thing is a disgrace... far too expensive for the quality. The only way I can explain it is that there must have been a change of ownership or at least a change of chef. We definitely won't go there anymore.

What's really crazy is that the quality of the food has suddenly become massively worse. So it doesn't taste good anymore and the staff/waiters are acting up, it's just not nice anymore.

We have been here many times... and today for the very first time!!! We reserved a table and were there on time. We were placed in the back room by the former sushi conveyor belt. Terrible!!! Ice cold ambience. The kitchen next door. There was shouting all the way down the hall. The waiters were not friendly and incredibly loud. The plates from the entire restaurant were placed on a cart right next to us. You had the feeling it was a competition between the waiters to see who could shout louder down the aisle to the kitchen and who could slam the plates onto the cart the loudest. It was the most tasteless food I've ever eaten. Tuna with avocado, prawns in a sesame coating as a starter. Tuna and avocado very neutral. The shrimp are completely tasteless. Only the cheap sweet and sour sauce made it edible. We both had duck. One fruity and one gourmet. I left both ducks in the deep fryer halfway through until they were just hard and dry. We have eaten the fruity sauce with canned pineapple and any thickened sauce here in a completely different and delicious way. Gourmet duck… no idea where that name comes from. Thickened soy sauce with a few onions and cans of champions. Not good at all. My husband also had fried noodles. I have no idea how you manage to make something taste like nothing. The ducks were the worst we have ever eaten. We were regulars for many years… will NEVER COME BACK.

Fuya is our favorite Asian restaurant. The service is always very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is nice and above all very clean. The owner couple is very nice and knows exactly how to deal with guests. The food is always fresh and tastes really good. It's completely different from all the Zero Eight Fifteen Asian restaurants. We can only recommend it...it's worth a visit!

Very tasty food and very friendly waiters!!! Very nice to children! The only detraction is the noise due to the arrangement of the tables and the high hall.
