Fuego in Würzburg

A beautiful restaurant, although it was very crowded in the evening, we got a wonderful place with a couch. Our drinks came quite quickly, were very tasty and, by today's standards, very inexpensive. Our meal took a while, but we expected that. When it arrived we were able to eat more than enough of the portions. The waitress was also extremely friendly to us and asked us at very regular intervals whether we were satisfied. Unfortunately, our lovely evening was disrupted by a blonde, fat woman when she came into the restaurant and screamed like hell at one of the waiters that she couldn't be serious, apparently she wasn't happy with the seat assigned to her. Luckily, a blonde-haired lady arrived and accompanied her out again in a friendly and quick manner. People like that should really stay at home. Once again a lot of respect to the whole team, you are great and you can tell what a warm team you are, we would love to come back.

Our second time at Fuego. Thought we'd give it another try. We won't be back. Service was friendly but our drinks took forever. Ordered a few different tapas dishes and they were just so-so. Nothing terribly wrong, just not an experience we would repeat again.

The place is top quality and I love the terrace. It is one of my mandatory stops every week when I go to Wüzburg. The staff is very friendly and very professional, the food is very good and the prices are in line with the quality of the place, both for the quality of the food and for the human value. On the other hand, I love that the names of the dishes are in Spanish because it is my native language and it is nice to see something in your language when you live far from home. 100% recommended

Went there for breakfast on my birthday! At breakfast for 2 people you only get 1 roll per person! (and 2 packs of small packaged pumpernickel) Unfortunately, the ratio to the sausage, cheese and spread that comes with it doesn't fit at all! If you order more rolls, you can pay really well at 1.50 euros per piece! Disappointing that you actually save on bread with a breakfast for 36 euros!!! For a single breakfast, 2 rolls are served, for a double breakfast, only 1 for each person! I'm really very disappointed! I think it shouldn't fail because of a bun at that price! Too bad

The food was okay, but tasted like it came from the freezer, nothing special. The salad, on the other hand, was good. The service was friendly, but the atmosphere was unfortunately too dark.

The waiter with short hair and glasses who was serving outside on the toilet side was very rude just because I wanted a straw for my drink.. He grimaced and angrily stuck the straw in my glass!!

Der erste Eindruck war leider nicht all zu top. Als wir reinkamen empfing uns der Geruch kalter Zigaretten. Im Innenraum ist das Ambiente bezogen auf den Aussenwand recht nett, jedoch befindet sich auf der kompletten "Innenwand" Glasscheiben, die einen uneingeschränkten Blick auf den kaufhauswirkenden Innenbreich der Immobilie (inkl. Rolltreppe) gewähren. Der Aussenbereich zur Straße stelle ich mir hingegen im Sommer recht nett vor. Wir entschieden uns für Tapas. Diese waren ok..Leider verstehe ich unter gefüllte Tortillas etwas anderes als eine Art Hähnchen im Schlafrock. Generell recht deftig.

We actually wanted to eat somewhere else, but the reservation failed. There was this restaurant a few meters away and we were hungry so we asked for a table. There was a high chair for our little son and the dog was also very welcome. The young waiter was really friendly and helpful, it's nice that people like that still exist! The tapas were all quickly at the table and very tasty - and at really good prices! We would definitely come back.

Delicious food, had to wait a little bit but it was fine. We had an incorrect order but the friendly waitress corrected it and even gave us an espresso for two. Thank you very much

The burger was really good. The tapas were shown on the menu as fried but were breaded and fried. Unfortunately the aioli was a bit fatty and tasted like a finished product. The batatas bravas weren't a hit either. The service was very friendly and attentive, thank you for the cookies for the hungry team.

We had ordered a table for 4 people before a football game, had even chosen it on site, had it confirmed and booked it, but the day after we were taken somewhere completely different, where we definitely didn't want to go. Comment: do you want the table or not. I pushed my knee a bit very roughly. I watched the game but didn't eat anything and was pissed off. If they don't need us as customers when the store is full, I don't need the store when there's space. Pride comes before a fall... Extra star for the great service.

No card payment possible?!? Only from 25€ - and then an additional 2.50€ surcharge! That's ridiculous. You can't find customers that way. Move with the times or consider your store closed!

Had breakfast there for the second time yesterday, it wasn't particularly busy. The service was nice & friendly. After 40 minutes our platter for two people was finally served, other guests who came after us got their breakfast before us. The plate was well stocked, but for €24.90 I expect the vegetables to be fresh and not wilted and dried. Unfortunately, a hard-boiled egg was probably not possible for the chef either. It's a shame, but we probably won't go there again.

A €2.50 surcharge for card payment is completely unreasonable and just plain cheeky. Horrible company policy that is practiced here. This rating remains at 1 star and will only change when free card payment becomes possible.

Table was very dirty. We assumed that when the waitress took our order, the table would be wiped down. Unfortunately, this only happened after she brought us our food and we asked her to please wipe the table. The baked potato with sour cream was cold and while eating my friend saw that there were dried leftovers on her fork. Both of our cokes were stale. Zero carbonation. Unfortunately we cannot give good reviews.

Had tapas and paella with 13 people today. The tapas were ok but too small. Paella has nothing at all in common with it. Neither taste nor appearance nor content. Slow service is nice, but it doesn't help if you can't turn off the heating under the seat. All in all, there is no reason for me to recommend it. A pity.

Had a wonderful afternoon! The early shift enchanted us! I would give 7 stars for the truffle prawns and 9 for the service! Everything came very quickly and really couldn't be beat! The selection of drinks is extensive and I can only recommend the belinii! We'll be happy to come back! Huge thanks to Leolady!

Since there was no space in the Fuego and we hadn't made a reservation, we stayed upstairs in the Escaleras (but it is one). Food (schnitzel in nacho breading with wedges) was very tasty😋 However, our ordered Pimientos de Patron didn't arrive until we were almost finished with the schnitzel. So no entrant 🥴 The waiter was very nice, attentive and quick. Can only be recommended!

Very good and tasty food. Good portion. The padrón pepper tapa... honestly, it didn't convince me. Small and unfinished cooking. It needed a few more minutes in the pan. I had the entrecôte "Feuerschnitzel" with baked potatoes and garlic sauce. Delicious! I expected the sauce to be spicier, but in this matter everyone has a different tolerance. Fast, attentive and friendly service. Good price in relation to the food. Recommended.

I can only rate the cocktails, and they were good. I chose non-alcoholic options here - and really enjoyed the choice. The stay was during the week and in the early afternoon - so there wasn't much going on - but things are definitely different in the evening. Next time we will also try dishes.

I just enjoyed my breakfast there and I'm super satisfied because the selection is huge, the price is more than fair and the taste is absolutely recommended. The ambience is also right, not overloaded, not overcrowded and you can enjoy the peace and quiet inside while you can watch the hustle and bustle of the city outside. By the way, the service was above average, friendly, attentive and helpful. Including a recommendation from the menu to put together the optimal breakfast, as in my case. Enough written, if you're thinking about going to the city for breakfast, you're in the right place here.

Price and quality don’t match together. Definitely overpriced according to what you will get. Atmosphere though was good.

Positives: Mojito was good, service was fast Negatives: I ordered the chicken enchilada and it was truly terrible. It was anything but one. I know Mexican food well and could tell right away that the sauce was the average kind you find off the shelf at a supermarket. The flour tortilla was not soft at all. The ingredients (beans, corn and chicken meat) were just kind of thrown together with very little regard to the overall taste.

Wasn't very Mexican or authentic. The food was ok. A little bit overpriced but the portions are huge. The cocktails are good. Service was very kind. The door didn't automatically close and many guests didn't close the door behind them. We had to get up ourselves to close the door and it was -6 degrees outside.

Vanavond gegeten bij Fuego, zogenaamd een tapasrestaurant. Op TripAdvisor stond het restaurant als goed te boek, maar onze realiteit was echt anders. Samengevat was het een teleurstellende ervaring. Bediening was weliswaar aardig, maar het eten was zeer matig. Had eigenlijk niets te maken met tapas. Meer een kleine gerechtjes restaurant onder de noemer van ‘tapas’. Voor ons echt geen aanrader voor een bezoek! Ons advies: loop er aan voorbij, er zijn veel betere restaurants in Würzburg.

We were there on New Year's Eve and had reserved a table. It was free on time and we were served straight away. The staff was friendly, the food was very good and the atmosphere was good too. Unfortunately we were not asked a second time if we would like something to drink. It wasn't even possible because the waitress assigned to us didn't come to us anymore. We then proactively approached another operator and the problem was solved. Otherwise I only have to complain about the Cuba Libre, which tasted too strongly of Havana. All in all a successful evening, we will definitely be back.

We ordered 7 different tapas and a large salad 🥗. The tapas were really delicious and the salad was plentiful, varied and very good. There was also fresh baguette. (There could be a little more of that.) 😉 The service was friendly. Unfortunately we had to wait a long time for our food and that's why the deductions were made. The facility itself is quite simple, old-fashioned, run down and unfortunately no clean tables. The toilet was also very unfashionable and not really inviting. Unfortunately, the music was a bit too loud for comfortable conversation. Conclusion: Very tasty food and the cocktails were OK. Too uncomfortable and loud for me to stay for a longer period of time.

Wir konnten nichts bestellen. Die Kellnerin war alleine, obwohl es nicht so voll war, hat sie uns nicht bedient. Sie hat immer wieder in Richtung unseren Tisch geschaut, aber statt unsere Bestellung aufzunehmen, hat sie lieber andere Tische gefragt ob alles in Ordnung ist und leere Tische in entspannten Tempo aufgeräumt. Nach ca 15-20 Minuten warten, haben wir uns dafür entschieden, ein anderes Restaurant zu besuchen. Schade...

Wir kommen seit Jahren ins Fuego zum Frühstück. Die Bedienungen sind immer super freundlich egal wie voll der Laden ist. Sind rundum voll zufrieden und werden auch künftig immer wieder gerne vorbei kommen.

Freundlicher Service. Tapas sind ok, aber nicht wirklich lecker.

Der Burger war trocken und nichts besonderes, außerdem zu teuer. Die Bratkartoffeln waren im Öl getränkt. Etwas Salz, Rosmarin und Zwiebeln und die wären echt geil gewesen. Es lief Last Christmas ...

War mit meiner Freundin hier essen. Sprite war warm und ohne Kohlensäure. Hat geschmeckt wie das billige Freeway vom Discounter. Nachos an sich gut aber die Soßen eiskalt. Käsesoße hätte man schon warm servieren können. Salatdressing hat mir persönlich nicht geschmeckt. Joghurtdressing würde hier besser passen. Enchilada de Pollo bekomme ich zuhause mindestens genauso gut hin. Und für den Preis leider keine gute Preisleistung. War nur eine Bedienung da, worauf wir etwas länger warten mussten.

Geht alles etwas chaotisch ab in diesem Laden ! Die Sauberkeit lässt auch zu wünschen übrig!

Leider insgesamt nur 2 von 5 Sternen. Das Essen war in Ordnung, leider waren manche Bohnen hart und bei der Tomatensoße wurde auch sehr gesparrt wo durch das Essen recht trocken war. Das Dressing für den Salat war im extra Schälchen und sehr lecker. Getränke ( Sprite) kam warm und ohne Kohlensäure. Wir wurden vorher hingewiesen das die Zapfanlage defekt sei dadurch wäre DIE COLA! ohne Kohlensäure sei, worauf dann eben die Sprite bestellt wurde. Ein Reinfall! Die Mitarbeiterin war nett jedoch dauerte alles ziemlich lange da sie alleine im Service war. Wir würden nicht wieder kommen und es auch nicht weiter empfehlen. Toilette leider auch nicht besonders angenehm und etwas schmuddelig.

Gemütliche Atmosphäre, hab nix gegessen sondern einen leckeren Cocktail to go gekauft. Find es gut dass es die Möglichkeit gibt To Go zu bestellen. Gibt in Würzburg nicht sooo viele Möglichkeiten wenn man Abends was zu Trinken mitnehmen will. Der Service war gut, Wartezeit etwas lang aber okay. Die Auswahl an Cocktails ist überwältigend und die Preise sind echt fair.

Wir schlagen dort regelmäßig zum verspäteten Mittagessen auf... Das Essen ist lecker, die Portionen wirklich reichlich und das Team dort ist nicht nur top organisiert, sondern auch super nett und super motiviert. Service auf diesem Level findet man wirklich äußerst selten.

Sehr schöne Location ebenso ist das Personal sehr nett. Was jedoch zu den drei Sternen führte ist der schlechte Service beim Bezahlen. Es wurden mir für eine Kartenzahlunng 2,50 zusätzlich berechnet was einfach nicht mehr zeitgemäß ist. Aber sonst war wie gesagt alles echt top

Was soll man zu einem unglaublichen unorganisierten Haufen Leute sagen? Nie mehr!

Das Essen war gut. Ich hatte Spareribs, geschmacklich super nur schon etwas trocken am Rand. Service war gut, leider etwas wenig Personal. Das WC ist allerdings in einem schlechten Zustand. Beleuchtung zur Hälfte defekt und auch nicht sauber. Selbst nach einem Hinweis ans Personal wurde nicht nachgereinigt.

Gutes Essen , gute Getränke , sehr gute(r) Bedienung/Service (Grüße an Anne). Würde es definitiv weiter empfehlen.

Essen war in Ordnung, allerdings etwas teuer. Das Cocktailangebot ist riesig und von den vielen Cocktails, die ich dort schon probiert habe ist jeder einzelne spitze. Während den Happy hours lohnt es sich wirklich dort vorbeizuschauen. Tolle Location für einen Freitag Abend. Klare Weiterempfehlung

Also wir hätten gerne was gegessen, aber die Preise hatten es echt in sich (zumindest wenn man nach der Happy Hour kommt) und finde ich zum Teil nicht gerechtfertigt. Die Speisenauswahl war auch nicht so mega. Die Speise-und auch die Getränkekarte waren versifft und klebrig... Die bestellte Cola war recht teuer und geschmacklich fad. Die Toilette war sauber, aber trotzdem kein ansprechender Ort

Tolles Restaurant mit sehr nette Bedienung. Sehr viel Auswahl an Tapas sowie andere Menü. Das Essen schmeckte sehr gut. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen

Da unser Hotel gerade nebenan waren, wollten wir am frühen Abend etwas trinken und ein paar Tapas dazu essen. Die Kellnerin war bemüht freundlich, die zwei Cocktails waren von der Qualität mau. Es waren Pina Coladas, die eher säuerlich geschmeckt haben, Cremigkeit war nicht gegeben. Die Tagesplatte Fuego Mix war leider auch nicht, wie erhofft. Chicken Nuggets. die man eher von einem Schnellrestaurant kennt. Einen Taler mit einem Frischkäse aus Ziegenkäse. Zwei weiche Garnelen in einem Kartoffelteig. Bohnen in einer Fleischsoße, die nicht schlecht war und noch einmal Hähnchengeschnetzeltes süß-sauer. Alles war mit reichlich Sprossen belegt. Für diese Tapas-Platte 18,90 € war definitiv nicht gerechtfertigt. Die Bar war aber gut besucht.

Die 5 Punkte gab ich nur für die Bedienung, RESPEKT an die freundliche hübsche blonde Bedienung! Hat den Laden trotz Mittagstisch komplett alleine gemanagt! Es war proppe voll und sie war trotzdem so freundlich. Irgendwann kam dann der Chef und half wenigstens hinter der Theke mit. Allerdings musste man als Gast mitbekommen, wie mit einer anderen Dame lautstark diskutiert wurde. Empfand Ich als total unangebracht. Ich hoffe für die kompetente nette Bedienung, daß sie wenigstens dementsprechend einen Bonus für ihren echt starken Einsatz bekommt!!!

15 Euro für einen stinknormalen 08/15 Hamburger sind schon weit ab von gut und böse. Pommes? Nee, die kosten nochmal 5€ extra. Getränke kommen noch obendrauf. Für diesen exorbitant hohen Preis erwarte ich dann natürlich einen Burger der Extraklasse, knackeheiß, frisch, saulecker, dicke belegt und mit einem Lächeln serviert. Sorry, aber da muss dann auch alles stimmen! Leider war das Ergebnis mau. Darauf angesprochen kam: "ich kann da nichts für!" Jawollo! Nix wie weg dort! 25€ für Durchschnittsburger mit lauer Apfelschorle. Gehts noch bei Euch?

I had nice salad and wanted to pay with the card. The one who takes the money, she said that I can not pay with card. If I pay with card, I have to pay 2.5 € extra. I am little surprised and I did not carry the cash rather I wanted to pay with mobile. She said, even if you want to pay with the card, you have to pay 2.5€ extra. So I paid with card while no other options left. But I remember I used to pay with card all the time. I am not going there for the first time. I asked her, is it a new rule, she said: no, the rule is existing from many years. After payment, she gave me another bill. I never had experience in Germany, that if you dont pay with cash, you have to pay 2.5€ service charge. Strange. what is the use of card, when you have to pay additional surcharge ? Where is the digitalisation ? I hope restaurant owner might give possible explanation, why they kept this rule or is it really true. Thank you
