I hadn't known the place before, and if Werner hadn't given me the tip, it would never have been on my route, which would have been a real shame. I have to say the staff is friendly, and the roast pork with pointed cabbage was simply fantastic.

We ate here quite by chance, just the two of us. But it was absolutely worth it! The menu is small but packed with fantastic dishes. Everything was super fresh, the pasta homemade. Great! The service was very genuine and friendly. One small drawback: the door doesn't close properly, so it was a bit cold on the back at times. But that only affected one seat in the restaurant. Reservations are highly recommended!

Fantastic overall experience! The food, the restaurant, and the service were simply excellent! It's advisable to reserve a table by phone beforehand, as seating is limited. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend this gem of a restaurant.

The restaurant has a very comfortable, cozy, and unique atmosphere, unlike typical Chinese restaurants. I really liked it. Their handmade noodles and chili sauce were also very fragrant and delicious. Highly recommended! The owner was also very friendly.

A charming restaurant. All the dishes were delicious. Unfortunately, for a business lunch, everything took a bit too long, and the dishes arrived with significant time gaps. I would have appreciated a warning about the spiciness of the stoneware pot, as it was full of chilies, and I don't tolerate spice well. Apart from our table, there was no one else in the restaurant.

Very friendly welcome and quick service. The food was excellently seasoned and the portions were very large. For starters, we had rainbow dumplings and mango salad, and for main courses, Peking duck and beef with udon noodles. Everything was perfect! I'll definitely be back.

I had the tofu parcels with vegetables. Unfortunately, it lacked flavor; we all tried it and didn't really like it. The noodles weren't bad, though. They're homemade. My friends were happy with their meals, though.

We now go at least once a month – often even more often – and we're thrilled every time. Everything we've tried so far is simply unbelievably delicious – from the ginger and beetroot salad to the aromatic noodle soup to the master's favorite dish. Every dish tastes fresh, authentic, and prepared with so much love that you immediately notice how much passion goes into the kitchen. The service is always friendly and attentive. You simply feel welcome. We usually get a seat spontaneously, but we still recommend making a reservation – the cozy restaurant isn't particularly large, which is precisely what makes it so charming. Sitting outside in the summer is also wonderful – the food, the atmosphere, everything just fits perfectly. For us, Fu is not only our favorite and best restaurant in Düsseldorf, but also one of the best authentic Chinese restaurants we've ever visited. Absolutely recommend it!

Interesting, very good restaurant. I had a chicken spring roll and a "favorite dish." The food was unusual, the vegetables fresh and beautifully prepared. A real find; on a train journey somewhere else, this is a great place to take a long lunch break because it's very close to the station.

Absolutely massive amounts of food, especially the main courses, I could never finish in my lifetime. I had the broth/soup with noodles and beef which were amazing. The homemade hot sauce was great with it too. My friend had the tofu pockets which weren't anything special though, bit tasteless. She also asked if they were fried, they said yes, but they definitely weren't. So miscommunication there. We shared the rainbow dumplings which those alone I would come back for. Overall great place would definitely recommend!

I discovered it by chance and have been there several times since. It's sooooo delicious! We only eat the vegetarian dishes and we always enjoy them. The atmosphere is great. In the summer, you can also sit outside. The parking situation is awful, but don't let that deter you. The service is also excellent. Fu by Meister Wang absolutely deserves such great reviews. Regular visits have become a must for us.

We went there spontaneously. Unfortunately, there was no room inside, so we sat outside. The waitress was nice. However, we had to wait over 25 minutes for our food, which wasn't great. However, the food was VERY good, very fresh and crispy. And hot. I would definitely come again, despite the long wait.

Very good food in a quiet atmosphere with good music. You feel welcome. The fresh ginger tea after the meal is especially recommended. The good reviews attracted us, and the delicious food won us over.

We reserved a table based on the good reviews. The salad starter was tasty but the portion was disproportionate to the price. The main course was supposed to be beef hunam with tofu and green beans. There was maybe 70 to 80g of meat in the whole dish. The few thin slices were also tough in places. There were maybe 10g of green beans in the dish. Instead, there were tons of onions. I couldn't find the tofu in it. It is definitely recommended to get noodles instead of rice. Otherwise, you risk not getting full. I would rather pay a little more than €20 and get a decent portion of meat. It would also have been nice if the kitchen had given a notice that they had swapped beans for onions due to the current market price. I enjoyed the onions for a long time the next day.

Super delicious food. We all had “Master Wang’s Favorite Food” and we all really enjoyed it. Homemade noodles with delicious sauce and lots of vegetables as well as chicken and tofu. Price performance is also definitely okay. A huge portion of pasta for €15.90. The service was nice. The ambience is very cozy with the green wall. We'll definitely be back!!

We were absolutely thrilled with our dishes. The balancing act between traditional Chinese cuisine and modern interpretation succeeds perfectly here. You won't find the flavors presented here at the standard Chinese restaurant around the corner. Simply wow and definitely worth a visit. The portions are large and filling.

This was our second time with Master Wang and we were very satisfied each time. The menu is not very extensive, but the dishes are freshly prepared and very tasty. The vegetables in our dishes were al dente and not overcooked, just the way people want them. The service is also very friendly and accommodating. The ambience is quite simple, but this is made up for by the very tasty food at good prices. Overall, a clear recommendation, two thumbs up. We would love to come back.

Deserving of its rating. Tried the Beijing duck with noodles as well as the hot plate beef. Duck meat was tender with crispy skin while the beef was well seasoned and tender. Probably what was lacking was the rice, not sure why the Asian restaurants in Düsseldorf can't get the rice as fragrant or flavorful as in Asia. However service was excellent and the owners were able to prepare non spicy versions of their dishes

Small restaurant with very good Chinese food west of Düsseldorf main station. The map is clear, but still has something for everyone. The food is excellently prepared and presented. For each dish you can choose between rice and homemade noodles. I recommend the really tasty noodles. There is also a large portion of vegetables, tofu or meat and homemade sauces. Simply a really good restaurant that is always worth a visit. Best with reservation.

I usually do not post such comments however we had a very unusual experience here. The lady attending the guests was super brash, arrogant and utterly rude. She gave us a very ugly look when we walked in just coz we had not pre-reserved the place. we instantly walked out but then after a few moments of waiting outside we decided to maybe pick up the food, the second time we walked in for take away,she was almost abrasive. We felt stupid as if we have gate crashed her private property. Meanwhile we also saw some places got vacant and yet she did not accommodate. I mean being in a service industry it’s important to be a bit hospitable or kind. Obviously nobody is expecting a grand welcome but you could be a bit nicer and polite. I don’t recommend this place at all solely due to offhand crude behaviour!

Unfortunately we had to wait almost 1 1/2 hours for the food. The service can hardly keep up. The woman was still nice and the food was very authentic and very tasty.

I went because of the excellent reviews and the truth is that the food seemed quite average to me. I've ordered some spring rolls that were super delicious but the skewers had no flavor and didn't look freshly made.

So how this restaurant can have almost 5 stars is honestly a mystery to me. We arrived at 2:15 p.m. and the restaurant has its lunch break at 3 p.m. I am aware that it can be annoying when guests come "spontaneously" but, compared to guests after us, we were not turned away and were just pointed out that they will close soon. Ended up with the waitress being more or less rude and annoyed. (I can understand it to a certain extent) The tofu skewers were delicious, the tofu “pockets” (floppy tofu triangles) were cold, the vegetables were ice cold and hard and the sauce was 80% water. The others (including vegetarian dishes) were described as mediocre to bad by other visitors. In the end, really not terrible but really not 4.8 stars either. The ambience was reminiscent of a Bavarian beer garden and not of Asian master cuisine. Recommendation? Rather not
