Freiraum in Landshut

There were three of us there for dinner. As a starter there were mussels, which were extremely tasty and lovingly prepared. The main course continued with spaghetti Bolognese, pinsa with Parma ham and pasta with truffle cream sauce. Everything has been excellent. The service was very attentive, friendly and you felt at home. We will definitely eat at Freiraum again and can only warmly recommend everything❣️🫶🏽

Food was great! Unfortunately, no bike was given as a gift. I didn't eat any kebab.

As an Italian and with many experiences in a wide variety of Italian restaurants nationwide, I have to say that the food is 100% authentic. I haven't eaten lasagne for years because it said Italian on it but didn't have it in it. Both the bruscetta and the lasagne have outdone themselves. I'm very, very enthusiastic and I conveyed exactly that to the staff. 5 stars are at least appropriate!

Very fine Italian, I love the truffle pasta, also have delicious pinsa. Great restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows, right on the Isar. Top service, a little more expensive, but very good quality. Always my pleasure.

The pasta and pinsa were really tasty. Unfortunately, the service, the next meal and the drinks were not that good. There is still room for improvement here!

We have been there several times. We were always satisfied. The staff and the boss were very nice. But today I was there with my visitor. The staff was probably replaced. The waiter was nice but also fake. The pizza that I always enjoyed was inedible today. I asked the waiter if there was a new owner. The answer was no. But the dishes were also different than before. We'll try again to see if the food tastes as good as it did in previous years. Otherwise it would have been...would be a shame!

Unfortunately I have to rewrite my review. I've been there for breakfast more often lately and unfortunately I have to say that it's not that good anymore. The service staff is very inattentive, the cappuccino was ready on the counter for ages and it was only brought when the foam had collapsed. Aperol was very often simply without ice, and even after asking for it, no ice was brought. Unfortunately there was no rocket in the bagel as it said on the menu, but rather salad. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated case today but has been increasing since the summer. It's a shame

Very tasty food, nice service and nice location. Only the chairs in the outdoor area were not particularly comfortable and were sometimes at the wrong height compared to the table, which created a strange "dining height".

The taste of the food is really excellent. The selection of dishes on the menu is nicely structured and very extensive, everyone can find something here. We were there for the first time, definitely not the last time.

The view at the Maxwehr is not that nice. View of the Isar Beach is better. Unfortunately, we were so hungry again that we ate the first few spoonfuls before we remembered that we had to take a photo. The gnocchi gets 5🌠 The salmon noodles only 3 stars

Very disappointing visit. Ordered lunch menu, boring vegetable soup (pumpkin-potato), salad as the main course in a very small bowl (side dish portion) with dried, rock-hard figs and the highlight was the dessert: a croissant in a glass cut into pieces with a dollop of cream... the whole thing €14.40, unbelievable. It's a shame, I've been going to Freiraum for 20 years and have always been a fan of the food.

There are simply the best burgers and the best selection of burgers here

Went there for breakfast today. The food was good, but nothing special. Considering it wasn't anything special, it was actually quite expensive. But what was an absolute no-go was that, even though the restaurant was almost empty, we had to wait for some time until someone came to take the order. Then part of the order was simply forgotten and finally we were simply ignored for the next hour that we were there. It was therefore not possible to order more drinks because the two women who were supposed to be working were busy looking at their cell phones most of the time. ----‐---------‐-------‐----- A good 9 months later we were back in Freiraum for breakfast today. Unfortunately nothing has changed. You wait forever until a waitress even comes to the table. Things were forgotten when we ordered, so we got a spoon for the cereal ourselves. The food was again just average, the omelette was dry, the hot chocolate came from a Nesquik packet... When we sat there for almost an hour with empty glasses and despite waving no one came to take new drinks, we finally said goodbye. Never again.

The really crispy Pinsa makes you happy

Einzigartige Aussicht auf das Wehr und sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Das Essen war italienisch zubereitet und sehr lecker. Beide Besuche waren Einzigartig und alles war perfekt. Große Portionen und angemessene Preise runden den Besuch ab. Jederzeit wieder.

Excellent Italian food. Both the ambience and the staff are perfect. Large portions with really great spices complete the whole thing. There is also a wonderful view of the Max Weir. We were here twice and it was great both times. Any time.

Pinsa great. Pasta great. The owner is the very best, so personable and funny you feel so comfortable there. I recommend it to everyone. You don't find such lovely people everywhere. PS 7 Hijabis

Were there for dinner during the week. The restaurant was well attended. We all ordered Pinsa, it came quickly, tasted delicious and was served with garlic and chili oil. The waiter was quick and attentive and apologized to us that he had to quickly deliver two tables and then be with us straight away. Will go here again

Service and food were good. Could have been a nice visit if it hadn't been for the payment. It took a while until the waiter came. Without an invoice, just like that. Paid ok, but still asked for the bill. Of course, it took a while for it to arrive and lo and behold, there was more on the bill than we actually had to pay. I'm not suggesting any intent, but I do have a bad aftertaste.

We waited ages to drink and eat! In addition, the wrong food was served, and some people waited so long for the starters that others at the table had already finished the main course. The drinking glasses were dirty and there were crawling animals in the salad. Once and never again!!

Unfortunately the stay wasn't as great as expected... First the food was forgotten, then it took another 15 minutes, then the pinsa was put down. However, not the one we ordered. When we said we didn't order that, we were told ham and salami were out. OK but then serve any pizza without asking first and that was just a margarita 😦 The waitress then asked if she should add Parma ham and rocket on top. However, this took another 15 minutes until the pinsa, which wasn't actually ordered, arrived at the table... We were very disappointed...

Excellent location, really high quality food, I recommend it.

Went here with friends for breakfast. Service was understaffed. Unfortunately, the breakfast dishes we ordered were not ready at the same time, but with a big time difference. So no breakfast together. The bread was over-baked and still frozen inside. Given the prices, I would have expected something fresh.

The Pinsa was great and in the evening in the setting sun it was perfect with a view of the Isar

Extremely bad service! You don't get served for ages. After the food was there, I waited another ten minutes for the cutlery. The employees complain about the guests in Italian, but don't expect that anyone could possibly understand what is being said! Simply outrageous... The salad was served without dressing; we had to borrow oil and vinegar from the neighboring table. The atmosphere is generally very tense, other guests have gotten up and left. At the end, card payment was not possible for technical reasons. We won't be coming back...

The ambience, located directly on the Isar, is beautiful. The view through the glazing to the outside or other rum is particularly unique and beautiful. What was unfortunately annoying is that even in the morning at breakfast at 9:00 a.m. there was a heat in the dining room that was very unpleasant for a heat-loving person like me. What was unfortunately also not pleasant on several visits was the rather unfriendly and succinct treatment of the guests. It doesn't move me to be a guest here more often. The food isn't so special that it outweighs the two rather unpleasant points listed. The dog acceptance should be mentioned positively.

It was our first time here and unfortunately we were very disappointed. It took forever until we were served. The food wasn't to my taste. When we had eaten, no one came. We wanted to order something else. When we had waited long enough, my husband went in to pay. We were in Landshut for the weekend, but I won't be going there anymore.

More like, well... My breakfast was good (“Maxwehr Special”), “Omelette Pura” for my wife was bland, oily and without the herbs announced, the croissant I ordered didn’t come (the request was ignored, but the croissant was on the bill), cappuccino lukewarm, O -Juice not fresh, service rather stressed because one person was missing and there was a group of 22 people there (even though the restaurant was only 15% full). It's a shame about the beautiful location, there's a lot more to it.

Service left something to be desired. I won't dine there again.

We were seated at a table and ignored for half an hour. After we ordered the drinks, another 20 minutes passed and we were asked again what we had actually ordered. (The same thing at the neighboring table) After eating the food, we waited over 1 1/4 hours for the starter. After we requested the bill without eating anything, the starter arrived about 10 minutes later. Then we were ignored again and sat in front of our empty plastic boards. After another request for the bill without having received the main course, people responded with surprise and the bill didn't come again. We put the money on the table and left the restaurant with almost empty stomachs. Unfortunately it wasn't just us! It's a shame, but we're not coming anymore!

We visited this restaurant today, Unfortunately we had nothing to eat and the waiters were apparently completely overwhelmed. We had an unforgettable experience because after the drinks were served we were simply ignored. Apparently other guests were also ignored and got up and left after 10 minutes. too bad.

Unfortunately I can't give a good rating, which I find very unfortunate. The food was ok. I'm happy to pay a little more if the price/performance is right. Unfortunately I didn't find that here. What I'm more disappointed about was the service. A young man served us. I could ignore the fact that he was stressful, erratic and not service-oriented. But when paying, he quoted a different price than we should have paid. In the end he got more! When I emailed the owner, he responded to the bill, but there was no apology or gesture of regret. So, one star for the restaurant is ok!

Actually, I'm always very satisfied, but this time the waiter was very stressed, the pinsa was burnt and our table wasn't clean.

The food is solid, with a few vegan options available. I like the authentic Italian flair in the open space :)

One of the most rude owners / waiters I have ever faced in my 31 years of life. They are very rude with customers and with delivery companies. No parking places, they are reserved for the waiters and owners ONLY! I won't recommend this place even if they would serve you free food and drinks. It's not worth to support such businesses where they forgot where they came from. 0 stars now and 0 stars forever for this sh×thole. I would give minus stars if possible.

Bad food, overpriced and unfriendly

Dreimal wurde uns was falsches serviert, als das richtige kam war bei zwei Gerichten die Hälfte der Zutaten nicht drauf, die gemäß Speisekarte drauf sein sollten. Von dem ersten - falsch serviertem Gericht - wurde eine Zutat einfach runter genommen und dann beim anderen Gericht drauf getan. Wir haben darauf aufmerksam gemacht. Aber es gab weder eine Entschuldigung noch eine Erklärung. Auch wurde alles voll abgerechnet, trotz immens fehlender Zutaten.

You can enjoy reasonable food outdoors (very pleasant atmosphere).

The decor is still nice, the service is friendlier than before. However, the order was forgotten twice and took a long time even after being reminded.

First of all, it should be said that the food is of good quality. However, this is counteracted by the unprofessional service. A blunt approach to the guest that after ordering the main course 5 seconds ago - the waiter is still at the table - you can no longer order a starter, since you should make this known before the main course, leaves the guest wondering. Don't want to make money? Are the starters that bad? The irony is perfect that the pinsa we ordered was forgotten during the preparation. If only there had been time for an appetizer! ;-) I have never encountered such an unprofessional attitude from the young waiter in any restaurant - regardless of the price range. Ergo, a visit overshadowed by poor service. Not recommended in this constellation.

We were there with the family. Overall, the location and the kitchen don't seem very clean. When asked whether there was really 0.5 liters in the glass of Lillet Wild Berry, as indicated on the menu, it had to be refilled, unfortunately without any additional alcohol, so that it tasted like water with a dash of Lillet. The penne arrabiata was definitely not enough as a portion. The most annoying thing was the Pinsa Salmone, as the topping of tomato sugo, vegetables and salmon was flooded with an indefinable sour creme fraiche herb sauce, so that you couldn't see or taste what exactly was underneath. Despite being very hungry, I couldn't finish it because of the unappetizing taste. At least the Paccheri tasted freedom.

We have been regular customers for several years and have always been very satisfied with the service and the dishes, whether pasta, pizza or starters. Here we don't cook with real Italian love. Keep it up!

Die Location ist wunderschön liegt direkt an der Isar mit einem schönen Blick auf die Isar und der dahinter liegenden Häuserfront. Direkt daneben das Wehr das am Abend romantisch beleuchtet ist. Das Essen „cucina italiani perfecto“. Ausgezeichnete Weine, besonders empfehlenswert ein Riesling aus Südtirol Fallwind Alto Adice von der Bodega Saint Michael Epan. Ich esse oft Fisch aber die Pinsa und Spaghetti aglio olio sind auch perfekt. Sehr zu empfehlen sind Gerichte mit Salcicia gibt es sowohl als Antipasti oder secondi Piatti Personal und Leitung sind super man geht auch auf spezielle Wünsche ein

Good view, good food, nice waiters.

I've been there several times, but unfortunately I don't really warm to the restaurant. The food is always okay, but overall nothing special. The location on the Isar is very nice. The service is average - there are better and worse days here. Unfortunately, only cash payments have been possible so far.

I can only recommend eating there, we were never disappointed… nice and attentive service. Today, however, we ordered and it was a failure... Pinsarand black and the pasta sauces unfortunately took a lot of getting used to.. we are very disappointed to have paid €60 for this meal.. Food arrived quickly and the delivery person was very friendly...but unfortunately he didn't have any change...we won't be ordering any more anytime soon...

Lunch menu main course good, starter and dessert can be left out. Still great atmosphere.

It was a dream again! Today we had breakfast for two in Café Freiraum. What I would definitely like to highlight is the service. Every guest, including us as voucher book owners, is treated as something special here. The food was amazing. I can't say it any other way. Fresh, hot croissants, oven-fresh bread. The omelette is a dream! We'll be back!!!

We always enjoy eating here when we are in Landshut. My personal recommendation is the delicious Margherita as Pinsa, but pasta, salads etc. are also great!

A great restaurant with good pinsa and great meat.

There were 6 of us and there were 4 more people waiting. The waiter wasn't happy because we had to wait with other friends and really wanted to take the order in advance! Incredibly bad service. It's a complete mystery to me. Really the waiter was very unfriendly! In summary, unfortunately a very bad culinary evening and a big negative point was the absolutely unfriendly service. Right from the start the man looked like it had been raining for seven days and when I dared to think about my order for half a minute he actually rolled his eyes. Good service definitely looks different.

I knew the restaurant, but had never eaten here before. Today we ordered for the first time through Lieferando and we are absolutely thrilled! The food arrived less than 20 minutes after ordering. Best quality, super fresh and really super tasty! Gladly again!

The pinsas are very good and have also been there for breakfast. This time it was quite crowded and we sat very close to the other tables. Even the waitress always had to squeeze between the chairs.

Best restaurant in Landshut I would say. Excellent food cooked by a great Chef, equally excellent service with friendly waiters and a very nice environment with a special atmosphere. When you enter inside you feel like you are in ITALY... Congratulations 👏🏻 ❣️

Wir waren zu viert.Mein Mann und ich, hatten ein Frühstück für zwei. Es war ausreichend und lecker. Ein Minibrötchen war Steinhart, wurde aber auf Nachfrage ausgetauscht. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war ok. Leider ist alles sehr beengt und man wird regelrecht gestoßen damit andere Platz haben. Ok mehr Tische, mehr Leute ist gleich mehr Einnahmen.Aber so sinkt der Wohlfühlfaktor auf 0.

Gehe sehr gerne in dieses Lokal. Ob auf einen Kaffee ☕️ oder auch abends zum essen. Schmeckt alles sehr gut, Service super nett, allerdings nicht im unteren Preissegment.

Unbedingt vor Besuch am Abend am Wochenende zuvor reservieren. Das Personal war mit Abstand eine 10 von 10. Alle sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, wirklich toll. Die Getränke und das Essen waren sehr lecker und schnell hergerichtet. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Aufjedenfall weiter zu empfehlen!

Sehr leckeres Essen. Nettes Personal Bus auf 1 Punkt Abzug weil Personal unfreundlich wird wenn kurz davor geschlossen wird. Statt freundlich darauf hinzuweisen wird das Personal pampig

Sehr köstliches Frühstück bei fairen Preisen. Auch Extrawünsche werden einem zu einem kleinen Aufpreis ermöglicht. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich und überzeugt mit einem italienischen Flair. Das Personal war stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. In unmittelbarer Nähe steht ein öffentliches Parkhaus zur Verfügung.

War ein netter Besuch. Freundlicher Kellner, Mittagstisch ca 17€: Menü wie auch a la carte.

Das Essen ist teilweise sehr kreativ in der Kombination. Auf jeden Fall ist das Essen sehr schmackhaft. Wir waren jetzt bereits zum zweiten Mal dort, obwohl wir hier nicht wohnen.

Leider hat das Lokal die letzten Jahre sehr an Qualität, Sauberkeit und Service nachgelassen. Essen ist gut. Service etwas überfordert und Essen dauert lange bis es kommt. Obwohl das Lokal am Donnerstag Abend gerade halb voll war. Sauberkeit des Lokals lässt zu wünschen übrig, Essensreste liegen am Boden, WC wurde auch schon lange nicht mehr geputzt. Alles etwas schmudelig. Essen ist gut und die Lage an der Isar super.

Tolles Restaurant mit hervorragendem Essen! Das besondere an diesem Italiener ist, dass es keine Pizza, sondern hervorragendes Focaccia gibt und sehr kreative, gut abgestimmte Pastagerichte.

Wir hatten nur kurz ein Panini und Getränke. Der Kellner war schon mal nicht begeistert weil wir uns etwas abseits gesetzt hatten. Als Panini kam ein Bagel was schon komisch ist…? Der Espresso war mit Kaffeepulver in der Tasse, auch nicht wie es sein sollte. Schade….

Das Restaurant zählt auf jeden Fall zu unseren Lieblingslocations in Landshut. Das Essen ist hervorragend, egal ob Frühstück, Pinsa oder Pasta. Das Team ist freundlich, man fühlt sich wie zuhause.

Super freundliches Personal. Kleiner Hund ist ebenso Willkommen gewesen. Die Einrichtung hat uns gut gefallen, weil es nicht das stupide „alles muss gleich aussehen“ war, sondern einfach gemütlich. Haben die alkoholfreien Cocktails probiert. Preis-Leistung völlig in Ordnung. Kommen gern auch mal zum Essen, wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind.

Klasse Pizza, wenn man es mal anders mag. Super Lage um bei schönem Wetter draußen zu sitzen. Oktopus lecker. Sehr nettes Personal.

Hatten das Deluxe Frühstück für zwei Personen. Unsere Hündin mochte es auch 😁. Die Mengen waren nicht zu schaffen 🥳. Alles sehr lecker und frisch. Zwei Kaffee dazu waren sehr günstig. Prosecco und Blutorangensaft waren dabei. Typisch italienisch, wer ein deutsches Frühstück erwartet, sollte nicht das Deluxe wählen. Sehr nette Bedienung, wir kommen gerne wieder wenn wir in Landshut sind.
