Waren heute das erst Mal da. Nur bestens zu emphelen. Essen richtig lecker und das Personal super freundlich. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

War eher Imbiss Qualität, Bedienung langsam und nicht sehr kooperativ.

Leider war der Spargel schlecht geschält und die Suppe war kalt kein schönes Osteressen

Ich kann die Negativen Bewertungen nicht bestätigen. Ich war heute das erste Mal im Restaurant. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und zu einem Tisch gebracht. Die Auswahl an Speisen war super. Die Preise annehmbar. Zum Abschluss gab es noch einen kleinen Eisbecher.

Super Essen und ein unglaublicher Service. Die besten Rouladen, die ich je gegessen habe!

Das Essen war sehr lecker und appetitlich angerichtet, es war nur leider nicht zum satt werden.

Mmmmh: Land, Luft und Meer. Sehr lecker, mengenmäßig genau richtig und schnell serviert. So wie ich es halt mag.

Wir hatten die Idee spontan nach einer Fahrradtour zu einem Abendessen hier nach langer Zeit mal zu essen. Als Nachbarn eigentlich fussläufig für uns erreichbar und grundsätzlich reizvoll für einen spontanen abendlichen Aufenthalt bei schönem Wetter …dachten wir zumindest! Der Kellner war schroff, kurz angebunden aber auch penetrant mit der Nachfrage der Bestellungsaufgabe. Erstaunlicher Weise waren wir mit einem weiteren Pärchen die einzigen Gäste auf der Terrasse, was uns schon zu denken gegen hat. Wir bestellten uns als Vorspeise Garnelen in Aioli und wollten nach den Garnelen dann einen Hauptgang bestellen. Die Garnelen kamen dann auch recht schnell mit einem kleinen Brotkorb mit Baguette Scheiben. Die Baguette Scheiben waren schimmelig, was bei Weissbrot recht deutlich zu erkennen ist. Wir haben sofort den Kellner darauf hingewiesen und er hat dann erstaunt das verschimmelte Baguette wieder in das Restaurant zurück gebracht. Nach 10 Minuten hat er dann eine geschnittene Scheibe Toast gebracht und plötzlich war er wie ausgewechselt sehr freundlich …. hat sich mehrmals entschuldigt und wirkte nicht mehr so schroff und kurz angebunden. Die 4 Stück Garnelen zu 11.70 EUR waren es nicht wert, es war essbar aber nicht geschmacklich nachhaltig. Wir haben auf den Hauptgang verzichtet, um keine weiteren Überraschungen zu erleben und haben das Restaurant schnell wieder verlassen. Wir werden nicht mehr wiederkommen und hoffen, das zukünftige Gäste hoffentlich nicht so etwas erleben müssen.

I happened to be there on a Saturday Guest there at lunchtime. I really liked it! Nice service, everything was very clean and a very good menu. I ordered a rump steak with baked potatoes, sour cream and a salad. The order was seen as a menu and I was given a delicious, creamy potato soup in advance. The rump steak was tender, the baked potato had plenty of sour cream and the salad had a nice yogurt dressing. At the end I had an espresso. I paid €35 ​​which is absolutely within the range for the quality. The toilets are located in the basement and are therefore not accessible to wheelchair users. Recommended......

Super freundlich super Essen ✌immer wieder gerne.

Etwas speziel in die Jahre gekommen. Aber halt ein Forsthaus. Und so sieht es aus. Es muss nicht immer neumodischer Kram sein. Zumahl alles andere gut war.

Kenne das Restaurant seit den 70zigern. Hat sich kaum geändert. Personal ist sehr freundlich, Essen ist klasse, Preis/Leistung stimmt. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Gestern war ich mit meiner Familie vor Ort wir haben dort gegessen und 2 mal eins der teuersten Steaks aus dem Haus bestellt. Resultat war mein Steak war nicht ansatzweise Medium sondern komplett roh … Die Außenbänder bis 7 cm im Fleisch sind komplett mit Fett durchsetzt gewesen Und mit Fett Klumpen durchsetzt. Dies hätte man bevor man anbrät sehen müssen. Man konnte es kaum essen es war echt ungenießbar. Nach Rückmeldung an den Kellner kam nichts weiter wie ist halt so kann er nichts dran ändern. Finde ich eine Frechheit. Für das Essen 90 Euro bezahlt obwohl es ungenießbar war. Nach Rückfrage ob es normal sei sagt man mir man könnte nicht ins Fleisch reinschauen … Für mich ein absolutes Fehlverhalten. Ich war immer Stammkunde dort seid dem Wohl der Besitzer gewechselt hat ist es eine Katastrophe geworden.

Wir waren am31.1.2025 mit ca 40 Personen zusammen zum Geburtstag. Und wir waren alle mit dem Essen , Service und der Qualität vollkommen zufrieden. Machen das immer wieder und können es nur empfehlen.

Ich habe in diesem Restaurant angerufen, um einen Tisch für 10 bis 15 Personen zu reservieren, und unsere Reservierung wurde angenommen. Da es der Geburtstag eines meiner Freunde war, habe ich nachgefragt, ob wir einen Kuchen selbst mitbringen dürfen oder ob wir den Kuchen im Restaurant bestellen können. Uns wurde gesagt, dass es zu spät sei, da wir erst zwei Tage vorher angerufen hätten (was für uns verständlich war), aber dass es auch nicht erlaubt sei, einen Kuchen ins Restaurant mitzubringen. Der Restaurantleiter sagte in einem unhöflichen Ton, dass er damit zuvor schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht habe. Kurz darauf fragte er mich erneut, dass wir, falls wir einen Kuchen mitbringen möchten, pro Person 5 Euro für das Kegeln bezahlen müssten, obwohl er zuvor gesagt hatte, dass es 10 Euro pro Stunde koste. Danach fragte er mich auch noch, ob wir Kaffee bestellen würden oder nicht. Dieses Verhalten ist für den Leiter eines Restaurants sehr unhöflich und respektlos gegenüber seinen Gästen. Ich empfehle, dieses Restaurant niemals für eine Geburtstagsfeier zu reservieren. Am Ende konnten wir in Düsseldorf ein besseres Restaurant mit besseren Konditionen reservieren.

Immer wieder gut hier zu speisen ,sehr oft gibt es noch eine leckere suppe vorweg 🍻🥗🍤 . Sehr gute Bedienung immer freundlich .

Es gab ein leckeres und großes Pfefferschnitzel und einen leckeren Salat mit einem guten Dressing. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Gerne wieder.

1. Weihnachtstag. Hatte lange vorher reserviert - niemand hielt es für nötig, mir am Telefon mitzuteilen, dass Weihnachten nur Menüs (die sündhaft teuer sind), verfügbar sind, nicht die gewohnte Speisekarte. Als ich die Chefin freundlich darauf aufmerksam machte, sagte sie mir in einer mehr als unfreundlichen Art "wenn Kunde nix fragt, wir nix sagen". Auch eine Möglichkeit, sich absolut entbehrlich zu machen. Wir kommen jedenfalls nicht wieder - was ihr ja eh vollkommen egal zu sein schien.

Der Keller war nicht der freundlichste, das Essen war fast kalt. Schade um das schöne Essen.

Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant mit freundlichem Personal, einer wirklich abwechslungsreichen Speisekarte, fairen Preisen und gemütlichem Ambiente. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Soweit war das Essen gut, bis auf ein, zwei Kleinigkeiten. Die Preise sind absolut in Ordnung. Der Service war klasse.

Die AFD ist dort wissentlich zu Gast. Nein Danke! Nie wieder!

Leider passt der Service nicht zum gehobenen Preisniveau. Es begann damit, dass wir fragten, ob es möglich sei, eine halbe Portion zu bekommen, da meine Gattin aus krankheitsbedingten Gründen nicht viel zu sich nehmen kann. Dieses wurde uns verweigert, da man ja das nicht verzehrte Essen mitnehmen könne. Ok, wir hatten Hunger, also blieben wir. (Normalerweise hätten wir hier das Restaurant verlassen) Die Vorspeise (Zwiebelsuppe) war schmackhaft, genauso wie das Schnitzel meiner Gattin. Davon haben wir allerdings übers die Hälfte mitnehmen müssen. (Hurra, schmeckt aufgewärmt bestimmt ganz toll.) Mein Lammteller war leider ein Reinfall. Die Bratkartoffeln waren schlecht gewürzt und das Fleisch sehr trocken. Auch das angepriesene Olivenöl mit Knoblauch fehlte in Gänze. Der Keller war auch nicht aufmerksam und ließ uns über 20Minuten ohne Getränke sitzen. Auf die Frage, ob wir zufrieden waren, sprach ich die Kritikpunkte an. Es wurde mit einem knappen: "Das gebe ich weiter" geantwortet. Es wurde uns danach weder eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit angeboten, noch wurde der Preis zu unseren Gunsten korrigiert. (Man hätte ja zumindest eine Beilage stornieren können). Wenn das der Standard in diesem Hause ist und so mit Kritik umgegangen wird, fühlen wir uns nicht willkommen. Eigentlich schade, denn das Essen an sich ist nicht schlecht und auch das Ambiente ist recht nett. Gutes Personal, Kulanz und Wertschätzung sucht man hier allerdings vergebens. Wir bringen unser Geld demnächst dann lieber woanders hin.

Top-notch service and hospitality. We were there with a wheelchair. Wheelchair access was great, but unfortunately, the restroom was in the basement. The food was delicious and the prices were quite high.

After trying the Forsthaus's cuisine several times over the years, I was once again disappointed by the quality of the meat dish. Everything was so perfect, from the table setting to the friendliness of the waiter. Unfortunately, the meat was tough.

We had actually reserved somewhere else, but the table wasn't available, so we ended up at the Forsthaus at short notice. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, and even though it was getting late, we were able to order and eat in peace. The portions were very filling, and the value for money was absolutely spot on.

I can highly recommend the Forsthaus. We were there with four people and all the dishes were very tasty and attractively served. The menu is well sized and there should be something for everyone. The atmosphere is very cozy but not too modern. The service was excellent. Not intrusive but always present. Overall a good price/performance ratio. We will definitely stop there again.

Bad service currently. Calculate too much or run all over the place without a system. Almost got the greeting from the kitchen twice.

We were there for Christmas and found it a disaster. The food was impeccable but the portions were half the normal size more like a rehearsal dinner. But another 10-15 € more expensive than the normal portions at normal times. the selection of dishes was also ridiculous. There was nothing for vegetarians or children. We had to beg to get a schnitzel for which we had to pay €31 with fries. That was also bad in terms of service. We weren't even served after an hour and a half. We weren't asked if we wanted drinks or anything else. We can only say never again for this service.

The guest room is ideal for shooting clubs and the like. A pub that the Rohrpottler loves. Cozy, rustic, inviting. The staff very nice and attentive. And the food is really worth the trip there. Venison goulash, dumplings & red cabbage. As a starter, chicken soup, the finest. We had the voucher book with us. The price-performance ratio is really great! Keep it up!!! And I hope that I'll be able to come back soon.

We were here with 10 people for a birthday party during the week. We all liked the well-decorated rooms. The staff was courteous and if you ordered something you didn't have to wait long. The dishes ordered were mixed across the extensive menu, but were all delivered at the same time. The food was nicely prepared, everyone enjoyed it and the portions were definitely sufficient. The prices are reasonable.

Very cozy restaurant with delicious food and super friendly staff. We got a table outside without a reservation and were quickly provided with drinks. The food also took a reasonable amount of time to prepare. The prices are in the normal range for the size of the portions. The quality of the food was really very good. The steak was cooked to medium rare and the schnitzel was also really tasty. We are looking forward to celebrating our small civil wedding here soon with good food and will definitely be happy to come back!

We were there for the 4th time now and there won't be another visit. The outdoor sets are dirty. Listlessly brushed over by the boss. The food is sometimes brought carelessly to the plate and lukewarm. The beef broth is cloudy water with a side dish of meat and is not tasty. The boss himself came out of the kitchen and didn't understand my request. Always tastes like that. Well, that's why he can spoon them out himself now. Today we were at the forester's lodge with dear friends, sat outside on the terrace and it was a very nice evening. The food was great again!! I have never had better fish soup anywhere and the Berlin liver and the grilled plate were also really great. Thank you for the lovely evening and the nice service. We'll definitely be back.

Anlässlich des 90 Geburtstag meines Vaters hatte wir dort einen Tisch reserviert und mehrere Gerichte ausgewählt. Leider war der vorgesehene Raum nicht genommen worden und wir saßen an 2 Tischen getrennt. Das Essen war nicht schlecht aber auch nichts besonderes. Das Essen von meinem Vater kam nicht mit den anderen Essen zusammen und auch die Versorgung mit Getränken war sehr schleppend. Auf Kritik von uns wurde nicht reagiert.

For the first time at lunch in the forester's house I can say it was just 👍 good. Friendly welcome. Good service. Rich in dishes. The lunch dish we ordered was prepared and served quickly. It goes without saying that it tasted very good. Even after dinner it was no problem to go to the wonderful outdoor area to smoke a cigarette in peace. Ich war mit familiärem Anhang dort zum essen. Es gab eine Vorsuppe, vermutlich Rahm-Pilz-Suppe, die deutlich versalzen war und zu viel Pfeffer bekommen hatte. Von der Konsistenz erinnerte sie uns an eine Tütensuppe. Der Salat hatte deutlich zuviel dip, schmeckte leider langweilig. Das Hauptgericht war unauffällig. Im Vergleich zu vorangegangenen Besuchen dort waren wir enttäuscht und werden dort zunächst nicht mehr essen.

We had dinner with several people last week. Roughly speaking, I would say: It was just okay. Several had goose legs. I don't understand how you can pour sauce on a crispy goose leg. Why not, as usual, as a gravy base. Simple, cheap dumpling. Red cabbage was too lazy for me. But that's a matter of taste. I found it extremely strange that everyone else had a whole small baked apple, only my neighbor and I only had half a small one...Simply said: "Sorry, we ran out of baked apples" and everything would be fine. The service wasn't particularly interested in the fact that the person opposite got a well-done fillet steak, despite ordering it medium rare. 30 minutes after ordering I received the information: “Tiramisu is out”. If it had come earlier, I would have liked to order something else. So 2 minutes later the rest got the desserts and I was forced to go on a diet. In summary: We probably won't come back.

Jetzt lese ich hier andere Beiträge das das Lokal schön gelegen ist im Wald wer das geschrieben hat war nie da liegt gut gelegen an einer Haupt verkehrsstraße also fake... Was mich total schockiert hat bevor wir essen haben wurde ich gefragt ob ich bar oder mit Karte bezahlen würde... Eigentlich wurden wir nur abgefertigt um schnell Platz zu schaffen ob es den Feiertag geschuldet war kann ich nicht sagen Essen hatt geschmeckt nur 100 Prozent zu teuer war unsere ganze Familie einig "38.50 € für ein max 200 g Steak alle sagten nie wieder

Waren gestern zum zweiten mal da nachdem wir vor ein paar Monaten sehr enttäuscht waren .Beide male war es jetzt super Essen sehr lecker,Service sehr Aufmerksam und Freundlich, ein wirklich höflicher Kellner,wir hatten beide Male nicht Reserviert was kein Problem war. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Das Personal war sehr nett, hätten allerdings mit etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit, was Getränke anging durchaus mehr Umsatz machen können. Zum Schluß wurde, wir über 30 Minuten hingehauen, na hdem wir um die Rechnung gebeten hatten. Der Kellner zog Jemanden aus dem Bekannten- oder Stammkundenkreis vor. Dieser war mit einer Riesengruppe da und hatte nicht gleich getrennte Zahlungen verlangt. Als dann die große gemeinsame Rechnung kam, wußten die einzelnen Personen nicht mehr was sie jeweils verzehrt hatten. Und als man dann endlich alle abgerechnet hatte musste dann auch erst noch gequatscht werden. Da wir Jemanden dabei hatten, der am nächsten Morgen zeitig in ein Seminar mußte und daher früh un 22:00 h im Bett sein wollte, war das schon sehr ärgerlich. Dementsprechend wurde unser Unmut auch höflich kommuniziert und der Tipp von dieser einen Person auch reduziert. Alles in allem jedoch ein netter, geselliger Abend mit nicht so häufig gesehenen Freunden

Ein tolles Team bietet hier in einem sehr schönen Ambiente sehr leckere Speisen und Getränke an. Ein Restaurant, wo man sich das ganze Jahr über wohlfühlt. Sehr geschmackvoll gestaltete Innenräume und im Sommer eine tolle Terrasse.
