We had the croque with meatloaf. The bread was in the oven too long, like a biscuit, and the meatloaf was a factory-made meatball—a disappointment, unfortunately.

Great food at reasonable prices. I ordered food for a family celebration. It was fantastic – all our requests were taken into account.

We've been here several times and enjoyed it very much. Located in the beautiful, old castle of Neustadt-Glewe, the restaurant has a charming, rustic feel. The service was very quick and friendly, and the food was excellent. The menu is quite varied, so there's something for everyone. We also enjoyed good coffee and cake. I will definitely come back. I could imagine the interior having a more traditional or medieval feel, but since the entire castle has always been renovated in a more modern style, it's probably fine as it is. Everyone should see for themselves. I recommend that anyone who hasn't been to the castle yet visit it. You should also check out one of the markets or events held there. Unfortunately, I don't have many photos, but two are from the lovely, brightly lit Christmas market.

Enjoyed a delicious meal in the vaults of the centuries-old castle. Friendly, fast service, and excellent German cuisine.
