It was our first time back in years, and the owner recognized us! The food was fantastic, and my beloved Retsina was so good. It's always a pleasure. Please make a reservation beforehand!

Delicious food, good value for money, generous portions, beautifully presented. A very nicely decorated restaurant. Be aware that it can be a bit noisy. It's somewhat difficult for larger groups as only tables for four are available. The food is good, but people mainly come for the atmosphere.

We were here again today for the first time in a few years, and we're always satisfied! The ambiance (yes, it's a bit cramped in the cabin, but it's still okay) is very much in keeping with the Silver Bird theme. The service is very friendly, and the food is delicious. They'll happily accommodate requests. The price-performance ratio is excellent, and we'll try to come back more often. Highly recommended! Due to the limited seating, I would always recommend making a reservation in advance (especially if the outdoor area is closed). Please note: Payment is cash only.

I've driven past it many times, made a reservation today, and everything went smoothly. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. The atmosphere is really great, something truly different. It was a bit warm, but bearable.

We didn't get a table despite having a reservation. Several people had the same experience! We were 20 minutes late. We tried to call twice to inform them of our delay, but no one answered. After waiting outside for 15 minutes, we were told to wait another 15 minutes, but then we left.

Simply delicious 😋. You're always greeted very warmly and personally by the chef, as well as by the co-pilot 😉 A nice and large selection of dishes, with something for even the littlest guests. Orders arrive relatively quickly. The price-performance ratio is fair. We personally find the ambiance very pleasant. We've been there several times and will keep coming back. I highly recommend this place. It's an interesting concept, as the restaurant is located both inside an airplane and outside. There's a restroom on-site for guests. The prices for the dishes are quite high, but the portions are correspondingly large. The staff is very helpful and friendly – highly recommended!

The reservation via Google worked, and we were able to redeem the Schlemmerblock without any problems. The service was very friendly, and the food arrived super quickly. The salad we had to start with was a bit lackluster in appearance and taste, but the main course was good in taste and presentation. The prices are comparable to other Greek restaurants. There's a nice outdoor seating area, and while eating on an airplane is a cool experience, the furniture is a bit dated, and you can't see out of the airplane windows, which is a real shame.

Super delicious and fresh Greek food. We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance with our gourmet notebook and were pleasantly surprised. The welcome is warm, and the service is very attentive. The menu has a fantastic and extensive selection (vegetarians will also be happy here). Overall, the food was delicious, and we would definitely come back.

I love exciting restaurants, and Silvervogel is definitely one of them. Dining in an old airplane was an experience. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and we left full and satisfied. Not quite as elevated as it might seem, but still worth a return visit.

Mixed feelings at lofty heights... well, not really. The ambience of this Greek restaurant in a converted airplane is definitely eye-catching and original. However, it has to be said that the space inside is very cramped and the air quality unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired. It was pretty stuffy. Overall, the food was pretty average and didn't really blow us away. The portions were okay, but the taste was lacking that certain something. But praise goes to the service, who was very friendly and attentive. They really tried their best to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Conclusion: For the unique experience of dining on an airplane you might want to try it out, but if you value lots of space, good air and outstanding food, this is probably not the right place for you.

Unfortunately the ambience is a bit lacking. Sure, you're on a plane, but the Greek theme can only be found on the menu. Unfortunately, there is no correspondingly themed interior design. The staff is pretty good in itself. Quite polite, brisk and expressionistic with a decent tip. Unfortunately the food is boringly average. There is clearly a lack of depth and creativity here. The special tour of eating on the plane expires after the first time. From then on, the food has to be convincing and unfortunately it doesn't.

We've wanted to go here for so long and today it was finally time. Very nice service and fun idea with the converted airplane. We were thrilled with the food; you pay completely different prices for similar quality elsewhere. My lamb fillets for less than 27 euros were sometimes very well done, but that didn't bother me. But everything was perfect with the gourmet platter. We'll definitely be back ❤️

Since my grandfather enjoyed eating at Silbervogel very often, I went there with him. The prices surprised me at first, but when I tried it I was completely amazed. I have never eaten such a versatile dish with so many components before, and without exception, they were all on point and tasted perfect! The service was friendly and so was the kitchen staff. As a professional, I asked if I could personally express my praise to the head chef. This wish was granted to me. The kitchen is visible to guests from the outside and was extremely clean! I'm happy to give my recommendation! It gets tight with four people at a table, but remember: it's a small plane, it's curved (seat height at the windows is low) and it's not very wide. With the cute decorations, including in the cockpit (mannequins), you also have something to look at. A selfie with the pilot is of course included in the price 😁

We didn't like the food at all. Very poor taste and quality.

Service is friendly. The atmosphere is friendly. It's an airplane, after all. Everything is pretty cramped. It was quite pleasant at lunchtime. It's certainly noisy in the evening when it's crowded, especially when there are lots of children. The food is okay. Rather average. The gyro was too small for my taste, making it too crispy and less juicy. It reminded me more of Asian meat, as it looked fried. The taste is quite good, though. You get a bit more on your plate at other Greek restaurants, but it's okay. With drinks, it's easily €40 for two people. Unfortunately, card payments aren't accepted, but we knew that beforehand. They probably want to save on fees.

Unusual design, in the cabin of an old plane. The tables are quite close to each other, but this does not interfere at all, everything is quiet and calm. The food is delicious (Greek cuisine), the staff is polite, there are Russian-speaking employees.

A very special atmosphere. However, if the ambience is important to you, you should go in autumn, winter or spring. It is very warm on a plane in summer. However, there are also seats available outside. The food is very tasty and I have already tried different things. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the price for the food is really fair.

The silver bird is always worth a visit. It's a bit tight on the plane, but bearable. The service is always there when you need it. Very nice and polite too. The food (fish platter) was incredibly tasty and absolutely worth the price.

It was a nice experience to eat what was on the ground on a plane... definitely worth a visit.

Anyone who only accepts cash payments these days is doing so for one reason only - you don't have to kid yourself. The fees for card payments are now so low - that no longer counts as an excuse. Anyone who foregoes the sales of a group of 10 people has only themselves to blame. As an alternative I can recommend the Anno 1901. Super good food, slightly higher priced, but not run-of-the-mill Greek. Service is excellent there. And card payment is also possible there.

The staff was very friendly and basically the restaurant is very interesting since it is on a plane. Unfortunately, this potential is not being used properly. The Greek theme is no longer taken up except when eating (e.g. through decoration). Overall, the price-performance ratio is okay. A nice place to eat. In any case, it's a change to eat on a plane. It's a bit strange at first that you walk through the whole plane and there are tables everywhere on the left and right, but overall the whole experience is good. It will probably be very tight at a table with four people, as the seats on the window side are a little lower. It's just an airplane interior. After the meal there is a small schnapps for free, vodka-orange. An interesting choice for a Greek. It's a shame that, as I heard from the next table, you can only pay in cash. However, I didn't read any information about this at the entrance. The restaurant is reasonably priced and the quality of the salad and meat was also great.

Food was okay, nothing more, nothing less. Tzatziki has to be paid extra and costs €4.70, which I find very expensive. For reservations of more than 3 people, things get very tight. The plane is already very old, everything seems a bit old.

Nice staff, you get very friendly service even with gourmet blocks. The food is tasty and the quantity fills you up. The ambience is original and worth a visit, although due to the location it is not very suitable for tall people as the outside seats are quite low. Also, on warmer days I would recommend eating outside instead of on the plane.

I've been visiting the Silbervogel for years... in short: the food is absolutely great! The service was absolutely top! The atmosphere in an old airplane is totally cool! My absolute favorite Greek... Prices are completely reasonable! Tip: Only cash payment possible.

Today we went here for dinner for the first time. The service was friendly and nice. The ambience is something special and you can inform yourself beforehand and of course know that it is a little more cramped on an airplane. The tzatziki tasted very good, but not enough for €4.70. The salad beforehand was also rather poor. The main courses tasted good and were sufficient, but there was nothing special.

It was really good, varied and (atypical for Greek) not too heavy cuisine in the extraordinary ambience of the aircraft with very decent portions. The service was good, attentive and really friendly.
