Great idea and a great feeling. Reservation required. Unfortunately the tables for 4 are a bit cramped and the air is a bit stuffy. Only cash payment is possible! Parking is free on site.

Today we went here for dinner for the first time. The service was friendly and nice. The ambience is something special and you can inform yourself beforehand and of course know that it is a little more cramped on an airplane. The tzatziki tasted very good, but not enough for €4.70. The salad beforehand was also rather poor. The main courses tasted good and were sufficient, but there was nothing special.

Not enough meat from the turntable And that for the price. They are very stingy with meat and salad.....They should be ashamed of themselves..... I'd rather go to MC Donald and get something for my money and nothing..... This family is very stingy and expensive..... I advise everyone to eat there

Nice restaurant in an old airplane. The staff was somehow taciturn, but not unfriendly. After more than an hour the food came. It was okay.

Unfortunately I have to give a very bad review today!!!! We ate at Silbervogel today and were really looking forward to it. We ordered 2x the pilot platter and 2x tzatziki and 2x cola. First came a pretty warm cola!!! After we waited 1 hour for the tzatziki, which was only served after we asked, it was also quite warm and tasted strange. We thought ok, maybe a different variety, but it didn't get any better! Warm tzatziki is not possible!!! After 1 hour 10 minutes the food came. The meat was ok but the side sauce was also warm. When I asked if the fridge was broken because the tzatziki was so warm, they said that's just the way it is when it's been on the table for an hour. I asked after 20 minutes. Sorry, we haven't even eaten in so long. Very unprofessional!!! We arrived at 6.30 p.m. The warm tzatziki arrived at 7.40 p.m. and the food at 8.30 p.m. We left again and were very disappointed 😞 😞 😞 Not again under any circumstances. The waiter wasn't even surprised that there was no tip. I would also like to point out that people smoke near the kitchen, I haven't seen that before, in my opinion it's not possible, but that shouldn't matter. Conclusion we are very disappointed 😡😡😡 and were happy to go back.

Just a plane! The food was appetizingly prepared and tasty. Friendly service even if the waiter may be a ghost. Although the restaurant is on a relatively small plane, it has been well and comfortably furnished; nice decoration. Perfect for 1-4 people per table with more people sharing better.

Delicious food on a plane. I haven't seen that before either. Of course it's a bit narrow and low on the plane, but it's still a nice atmosphere. Suggestion for improvement: I missed cheese croquettes and dressed sheep's cheese on the menu.

We went here for dinner at 5:30pm on a Sunday. Thought it would be more crowded, but there were plenty of free tables. Parking spaces are also plentiful. From the outside, the silver bird makes a great impression. I would have liked it to be a little more loving inside and, above all, cooler! The evening sun warmed up the interior quite nicely. The drinks warmed up pretty quickly. There were no ice cubes. The warm food quickly made you sweat. The pork salmon rolls filled with cheese were very good. The vegetables that were skewered with it (onions and peppers) were still almost raw... a shame. The rice was ok. The potatoes are great! Unfortunately, our son didn't like the children's plate with gyros, fries and salad at all. He then preferred to eat the white bread. The farmer's salad and the gyros pan were ok. Solid Greek cuisine.

Here you can eat in a relaxed atmosphere and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is fresh and tasty and the selection on the menu is also very good. We'd love to come back

Interesting location. A Greek restaurant in an old airplane. Nothing works without a reservation, but it's not a very big plane either 😀. Service and food were good. I advise tall people to sit in the middle aisle, because the curvature of the windows guarantees a stiff neck. If you're in Hanover again, you'll be happy to go there again.

I've wanted to eat here for a while and with visitors from out of town I took the opportunity to enjoy the exceptional atmosphere. Very nice service, the food was very tasty and enough for all of us without being unpleasantly filling. The seats by the windows of the plane are not suitable for tall people because they lack the necessary headroom. Unfortunately also quite loud. But I could imagine sitting in the beer garden in warm weather

Ambience 5 stars. Brilliant! Very friendly service. Good portions. Good price/performance ratio. The steward-like work outfit is also great. Parking spaces directly on the “runway”. Due to the architecture, the background noise is slightly higher than in normal restaurants. Conclusion: a special experience.

The pork tenderloin was very tender and tasty. The fries were good, but I've had better ones and the spinach could have been seasoned more. The service was nice and attentive. Unfortunately you can't pay by card, which we were very surprised about. If our friends hadn't had any cash with them, we would have had to find a bank first, which would have been a bit difficult because you can only get away from the Silbervogel in one direction. We had the gourmet block which gave us two dishes for one. Without the block there are cheaper restaurants.

We were here a few years ago and were not at all satisfied with the food. Now things look completely different. The food was very tasty and the service was very friendly. It's a bit narrow (it's a plane) but otherwise we liked it. The prices are reasonable and not that high. We will come back in the near future.

Yesterday we were allowed to be guests at the Silbervogel and were thrilled. The food was great and also filling. The service was very friendly and also quick. We didn't have to wait long. The drinks were served immediately. The starters arrived quickly. The main course didn't take long to arrive and it tasted excellent. Just the outside temperature could be felt a bit inside, but after a small tip, this was also remedied.

The vegetarian dish is really delicious. Curry and spinach, original combination and something different :) great concept.

The staff is extremely friendly. I've eaten here several times - both on the plane and on the terrace. There are a lot of dishes (too many, in fact), but the ones I've tried so far have been delicious. The quantity is also more than sufficient. The fact that you can only pay in cash needs to be optimized, but does not result in a star being deducted.

Das Essen ist Top, man isst wirklich in einem kleinen Flieger, weshalb es für große Leute etwas eng werden kann, sofern man nicht im Gang sitzt. Aber def. zu empfehlen auch kurzfristige Reservierung war möglich und es ist schön ruhig. Perfekt für ein Dinner zu zweit oder in einer vierköpfigen Gruppe. Alles darüber hinaus ist schwierig denke ich. Haben nur vierer Tische. Preis-Leistung Top! Haben Sinn für Details, wer Star Trek mag und oder Flugzeuge wird hier auf seine Kosten kommen aber auch jeder nicht Nerd. Bin zum wiederholten Male heute da gewesen - Leute fahrt dahin!

Wir sind begeistert! Der Service super aufmerksam! Das Essen sehr frisch, heiß und absolut ausreichend. Wir hatten die gegrillten Peperoni, die Fischplatte und das Pfännchengericht Nr.80! Wir kommen in jedem Fall wieder! Danke für den schönen und leckeren Abend :-)

Bedienung sehr freundlich, Getränke und Speisen kamen zeitnah. Schon das 2x vor Ort gewesen und für eine solide Deutsch/Griechische Küche würde ich jederzeit wieder hin.

Es war ein schöner Abend. Essen war sehr gut. Wer es nicht eng mag , für den ist es nichts. Es gibt nur 4 Personentische. Wir waren mit 7 Personen dort. Es wurde bei der Reservierung drauf geachtet, das die Tische gegenüber standen. Ein Gespräch war dann noch möglich. Der Durchgang für das Personal ist nicht breit. Wer es eng und schnugglich mag ist genau richtig. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen,

Wir sind Stammkunden und gehen regelmäßig hin. Wir essen immer was anderes sonst hat man bald keine Lust mehr auf das Griechische. Viele sagen es schmeckt alles gleich aber das stimmt nicht. Es schmeckt alles verschieden und für jeden ist was dabei. Der Preis ist auch klein wo ich woanders schon mehr bezahlen mußte und weniger auf dem Teller hatte. Was halt gewöhnugsbedürftig ist, es ist relativ eng im Flugzeug aber immernoch gemüdlich. Ich kenne kein besseren Grichen.

Das Essen war nichts besonderes. Durchschnittlich OK. Da habe ich schon besser Griechisch gegessen. Die Metaxa Sauce war leider sehr dünn und geschmacklich etwas fad Das Ambiente ist von Außen schon toll und was besonders weil es halt was anderes iat. Der Innenraum ist nichts für große Personen über 190 cm. Die Tische sind recht klein. Zwei kleine Frauen sitzen an der schrägen Außenwand und die großen Männer an der Gangseite. Es ist halt ein Flugzeug. Zum Nachgang gibt es einen vom Haus gesponserten "Pflaumen Snaps". Ein Ouzo wäre wohl besser gewesen. Der Service war mal da, mal nicht. Für einen Freitag Abend war nicht viel los. Es war nett, aber ich würde meinen Stamm Griechen immer wieder vor ziehen.

Eine interessante und originelle location. Essen und Service wären perfekt. Alles in allem👍. Das Restaurant ist auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen.

Unsere Jungs finden solche Restaurants wie alte Flugzeuge, Eisenbahnwaggons etc. super.

Der Kellner ist schon lange da und super freundlich, das Essen ist konstant immer lecker und man wartet normalerweise auch nicht zu lange. Empfehlenswert ist u. a. das Gericht in Artischocken-Rahmsoße. Die Preise sind angemessen!

Das Restaurant befindet sich in einem alten Flugzeug, was auch sein Aushängeschild ist. Das Flugzeug ist über Treppenstufen zu erreichen und bietet nur sehr wenige Sitzplätze. Die sind auch relativ eng beieinander und der Kellner muss ständig nah am Tisch entlang gehen, um zu den anderen Gästen zu kommen. Die Beleuchtung ist ebenfalls sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig (dunkelblau), aber interessant. Wir hatten zwei Platten (Gyros mit Leber, Fleischspießen und Mettröllchen). Der Gyros war ganz gut, die Spieße extrem trocken und die Souflaki waren gut. Sehr lecker war die Rinderleber. Der Vorspeisensalat war etwas rudimentär, aber immerhin gab es noch Brot dazu. Interessant war hier noch, das man sowohl Pommes als auch Reis auf dem Teller bekam, der Reis aber kein klassischer Tomatenreis war. Hier war die Soße extra oben drauf.

Das Restaurant ist in jedem Fall ein Besuch wert. Der Service ist top. Das Essen hat auch gut geschmeckt. Einzig der Reis ist bei anderen Griechen besser.

Mein Essen war lecker.Das von meiner Freundin war kalt . Am Tage sieht der Silbervogel schön aus,am Abend leider nicht so . Beleuchtung an der Treppe war kaputt oder nicht vorhanden das war nicht zuerkennen.Der Servicepersonal brauchte etwas ob Getränke Essen oder die Rechnung

Auch wenn man max. Zu viert sein dürfte und die kleinen am Fenster Sitzen sollten. Ist das essen jedesmal sehr lecker. Normalerweise muss ich die Hälfte einpacken lassen
