I love this place. It's a bit dated, but the owner is a real character and the food is absolutely delicious. If you're not into fancy stuff, this is the place for you. I love places like this.

The owner is a true Greek. The cuisine is more authentic than that of many other Greek restaurants. No frills, just fresh produce, delicious, and hot. A rustic atmosphere and warm Greek hospitality. Efkaristo poli.

The restaurant staff is very friendly. They serve the best tzatziki in all of Germany. We always enjoy coming there.

Well... I don't even know where to start. Two of us adults had dinner there last night. We were really hungry and it was recommended to us by a nearby hotel. So... never again. Normally, one star for each individual point here is too much of a good thing. And I don't even know where other people's reviews come from. :-/. We have never eaten so badly and we have never been served so badly. The shandy was the only thing that was okay. The Coke was very stale and tasted less like fresh Coke. I had chicken soup. There was a lot of chicken in it, but no noodles and no trace of the overcooked rice either. The broth consisted of boiled rice, water with a bit of salt. No chicken broth included. Then we got two white cabbage salads that we didn't order at all. They were made entirely with vinegar and were very sour and inedible. My son ordered beef with beans and rice, but after waiting for half an hour, unfortunately, he didn't get any more than an unidentifiable casserole with some meat and potatoes in a creamy sauce. Inedible... :-(. You get food on site that you didn't order at all, and then you can't eat it because it doesn't taste good. As for the cleanliness, we saw small, live black beetles crawling on the beer mats on the table and on the windowsill ;-(. And a look behind the bar and towards the kitchen makes you shudder... everything is so dirty and smelly. The health department absolutely needs to come and close down this small family restaurant/pub immediately. If you just want to go for a beer or a shot, it might still be OK. But going out for a good meal and finding a clean, well-run restaurant is not possible. In the end, we paid almost €50 for a completely inedible and not-so-ordered meal.

I've loved coming here every time I'm in Hanover for over 20 years. The owner's quirkiness and uniqueness may not be to everyone's taste, but the food is unquestionable! I highly recommend this place! And I'm truly grateful for every passing year that this restaurant continues to exist!

Great family-run restaurant! The food was super tasty, the tzatziki was, without exaggerating, the tastiest thing my wife and I have ever eaten. We come from Braunschweig and came across the restaurant by chance, but we would like to come back again at any time. LG

A quaint Greek family restaurant where hospitality is still a top priority. The food was delicious and the prices were great. We'd be happy to come back.

In any case, very good food (I had gyros baked in Metaxa sauce) in a rustic atmosphere and a very nice and funny old Greek couple who own it.

....the decor is a little old, but the food and hospitality are almost unbeatable. Portions large, the beer cold... wonderful... the host, his humor... simply delicious. Whenever we are here in Hanover, a visit is an absolute must...

The food corresponds to the price-performance ratio, it is freshly prepared, the waiting is OK, no problem, the owner is very friendly and nice, you can have a good chat, the restaurant itself is small but also cozy, just a small room, but it is also behind the counter and all that There's a bit of mess around, a bit of a lot of crime fiction stuff that shouldn't be lying around so openly, but everyone has to decide for themselves. But as I said, the food tasted quite good, a little better than the other Greek places around here. And this ambience is not recommended for a romantic evening - only if you just want to hang out with friends and have something to eat if your expectations aren't that high.

The food was nice enough, several of the souvlaki were not fully cooked, but the meat on the grill plate was fine and the fries were super fresh. The soda was very lazy, but the host tried with humor and coziness.

Greek hospitality with a good dose of humor is served here to order. The father takes the orders and serves, the son stands in the kitchen and cooks. The portions were sufficient for us. The ambience is a bit old but it's just not a 3 star restaurant. We felt comfortable and would like to come back next time we are in Hanover.

Food including comedy. People here, you get twice your money's worth (unless you go to the basement to laugh) 😜 The food was of good quality. The host is the crowning glory. Always have a saying in stock and absolutely authentic. I would recommend making reservations by phone.

Top food at really fair prices. Ambience is typically 80s old school. The innkeeper makes up for it with food and charm.

A restaurant that is a little old. The operator is very nice, but not everyone can cope with his sense of humor. We find him really funny. And we always enjoy coming back. The food tastes very good. The boss also makes sure everyone is fed! Thanks for that! And after dinner there was also an ouzo on the house. We will be back!!! ☺️

Traditional Greek restaurant and the food was super delicious! Price performance is right. It's not that inviting from the outside, but the food and the atmosphere make it worth it.

Sweet, rustic restaurant. Service was very nice. Food was divided into two parts. Meat and salad were delicious. Unfortunately, the fries were in the deep fryer for a little too long. Unfortunately you could only pay in cash and had to hold something back.

Small restaurant with rustic, slightly older furnishings. The innkeeper is an original with a sarcastic, cheeky sense of humor, which I really like. He knows his craft, the food is delicious (the grilled beef liver was a dream!) and big enough. The coleslaw and tzatziki are homemade and not ready-made. Price-performance is okay. The restaurant is not barrier-free!!!

Sehr viel Essen war ausverkauft. Kein Rind, kein Reis, kein richtiger Salat, keine Gemüseplatte; alles ausverkauft. Es gab nur Schwein und Pommes. Sehr schade.

Uriges griechisches Restaurant. Witziger Wirt, der immer einen Spruch auf den Lippen hat. Die Preise sind auch noch akzeptabel.

Super lecker der Zaziki , sehr zu empfehlen. Die Bedinung super klasse. Gerne komme ich wieder.

Nettes, kleines Restaurant mit "frechem" Wirt und leckeren Speisen. Wer keinen Spaß versteht, wird sich hier nicht wohl fühlen.

Trotz jeweils nur 4 Sterne verteilt komme ich immer wieder gene dahin. Es ist ein Urgrieche der leckeres, günstiges Essen serviert. Es ist kein Schickimicki, sondern sehr lecker zum günstigen Preis wie vor Corona.

Ein absolut authentisches griechisches Restaurant klitzeklein...mit einem wundervollen Konstantin als Wirt der sein Herz am rechten Fleck hat. Das Essen dauert seine Zeit, weil Konstantin alles frisch zubereitet. So schmeckt es auch,...sehr lecker...

Et lille og hyggeligt sted, ejeren er en rigtig flink græker med en super humor. Maden er rigtig god og priserne er billige.

Eine sehr urige und rustikale Wirtschaft, mit einer echten griechischen Marke als Wirt, der sein Lokal mit viel Hingabe führt. Das Essen war wirklich erste Klasse, ich hatte selten ein so knuspriges und gut gewürztes Gyros. Die Aufmerksamkeit und Freundlichkeit des Wirts, sowie die Qualität der Speisen entschädigen vollkommen für die vielleicht etwas längere Wartezeit. Alles in allem ist dieses Lokal nur zu empfehlen, das Preis- Leistungs Verhältnis ist optimal. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Das Essen ist wirklich richtig richtig lecker. Auch Sonderwünsche werden erfüllt. Der Inhaber ist ein Orginal und wenn man ihn so nimmt wie er ist hat man einen gelungenen Restaurantbesuch. Wenn wir nicht vorbestellt hätten, wäre ich vielleicht vorbei gegangen. Um so mehr freue ich mich, diesen "Griechen" zu meinen Favoriten hinzufügen zu können...

Ein kleines Lokal mit einem Unikat als Wirt. Das Essen war liebevoll zubereitet. Es wird mehr gekocht als dekoriert, dafür hat das Essen geschmeckt!

Immer solides Essen mit nettem Service., zuvorkommend und geduldig, Typischer greek-Style 'wie früher', Umgebung etwas rumpelig, kommt zunächst unscheinbar daher. Haben uns kurz nach Küchenschluss dennoch ein Essen gezaubert! Toll

Kleines aber Uriges Restaurant. Freundlicher Besitzer, der immer für ein Spaß zu haben ist. Essen war üppig und sehr lecker. Preis war auch angemessen. Falls wir mal wieder nach Hannover kommen, gehen wir gerne wieder dort hin. Sehr zu empfehlen 👍👍
