A very cozy restaurant, not very spacious, so the seating is a bit cramped. The open kitchen is a real highlight. The service was very friendly and well-trained (they even recommended wines), and the food was fantastic. A great selection of tapas, and the homemade pesto was amazing. We'll definitely be back!

Super authentic and friendly. The food is lovingly prepared in front of the guests and tastes delicious. The place is very small, so reservations are recommended. This creates a very pleasant atmosphere. We've been here twice: once a tapas platter for two, and today we had baked feta with vegetables as a starter, a tapas platter, and pasta. Everything was fantastic.

A perfect evening. I should note that I only write reviews when a restaurant has completely captivated me. Florina personally attends to her guests in her sweet little restaurant. It's truly small, but very cozy. The tapas were exceptionally good, and the Spanish wine paired them perfectly. If you're looking for a quick meal, this is the wrong place. If you enjoy an atmospheric evening with truly delicious food, this is the right choice!

We called early and made a reservation for outside. We arrived early. All the tables outside were taken, and none had been reserved for us. We could have sat inside if the weather had been nicer, but only without our dog (which is why we had reserved outside). It's a shame how they treat their customers!

Very disappointed, I wouldn't recommend it. This restaurant is all about mass processing. I booked a table three weeks ago for June 30th at 5:30 p.m. with the request that a candle be placed for the birthday child. According to the lady, they open at 5:15 p.m. We arrived at the restaurant entrance at 5:20 p.m. Doors opened at 5:40 p.m., and the terrace was already packed. We finally got a seat inside, without a birthday candle; of course, we had to wait in line beforehand. The restaurant was now completely full inside. By 6:15 p.m., our drinks hadn't even been served. We left the restaurant at 6:20 p.m. without any food or drink. If I'm only interested in the dollar signs as an operator and no longer have a passion for comfort and delicious food, then I should do something else. Maybe sell fish sandwiches in a stall.

We had reserved a table here this evening, and when the manager saw our tiny little dachshund, she got upset and wanted to tell us why dogs weren't allowed in her restaurant. We weren't interested, and if you don't want our little friend, you don't want us either. As always, it's the tone that counts, and unfortunately, rudeness never gets you anywhere.

We ate there today. The first impression was good, but unfortunately it stayed that way. We waited 1:45 for our food. The waitress was practically absent. Some tables got their starter after the main course. We couldn't reorder drinks because no one came to the table. She couldn't advise us on the dishes and told us that she only spoke two words of Spanish. The wine selection was good, but mostly completely overpriced. The beef fillet was cooked much too well and therefore very dry. This was then re-served, however. The tapas were OK, but nothing special. The pasta with prawns was good. The owner was very friendly and apologized to all the tables for the situation, but ultimately the price-performance ratio was not good at all. A real shame.

Wer aber nicht nur gut essen, sondern auch wissen möchte, wer da eigentlich kocht, ist bei Florinas Pesto Pesto genau richtig. Der charmante Gastraum bietet Platz für rund 24 Gäste und gewährt einen direkten Blick in die offene Küche. Dort arbeiten die Köche konzentriert und leidenschaftlich, während Florina selbst mit Ruhe und Herzlichkeit den Service übernimmt. Schon die Vorspeisen – Pata-Negra-Schinken und Carpaccio – waren geschmacklich fein abgestimmt und auf den Punkt angerichtet. Als Hauptgang wählten wir einmal zarte Lammlachse mit Gemüse und einmal eine großzügige Tapasplatte, begleitet von einem herrlich passenden spanischen Roséwein. Bierfreunde müssen sich hier umstellen, denn das Konzept ist klar: spanischer Wein statt Hopfen, dazu natürlich eine Auswahl an nicht-alkoholischen Getränken. Jedes Detail – vom Essen über den Service bis zur Atmosphäre – war fabelhaft. Der authentisch-spanische Charme, die Qualität der Speisen und das intime Setting machen diesen Ort zu einem echten Geheimtipp. Wir waren so begeistert, dass wir direkt für den nächsten Besuch reserviert haben. To be honest...the food (a platter for two) was really delicious. When I asked for a wine tasting, I was told that, contrary to the menu, they actually offered beer. San Miguel in 0.3l bottles. Great, I'd like one then. So far, so good. Then the bill came, and we were actually charged €6.90 😳 for a small bottle of beer!!! When I asked if there was a mistake, I was told that the beer was from Spain (you know where San Miguel is brewed in Germany) and that's how expensive it was!!! I just commented, "EXTORTIONAL," but that was completely ignored. Such a shame, because the rest was actually true. But we definitely won't see each other again.

Florina‘s Pesto Pesto ist ein kleines spanisches Restaurant im Zentrum von Norderney. Es ist charmant eingerichtet und man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl, was auch an dem sehr netten Team liegt. Die Küche ist offen, sodass man die Jungs dort wirbeln sieht. Wir haben die Tapasplatte für 2 gegessen, absolut empfehlenswert. Die Tapas werden in 10 kleinen Schälchen serviert. Sowohl die Auswahl der Tapas, die Qualität der Produkte sowie die Zubereitung waren schlichtweg perfekt. So etwas muss man selbst in Spanien erst einmal finden. Die kleine aber feine Weinauswahl tut ihr Übriges. Die Weine werden glasweise oder als Flasche angeboten. Es gibt kein Bier, das kann man dann genug woanders auf Norderney trinken und würde auch nicht zum Essen passen. Dieses Konzept finde ich sehr gut. Kurz gesagt: ein tolles Restaurant! Besser geht es nicht. Man sollte rechtzeitig reservieren, lieber ein paar Tage zu früh als zu spät, da es halt sehr klein ist. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut ok. Das Restaurant ist eine kleine Juwele in Norderney.

The tapas were very, very, very good – every single one was a hit! From bacon-wrapped dates to pulpo to patatas bravas: everything is perfectly seasoned, fresh and made with love. Plus an all-round warm, attentive service - you immediately feel welcome, almost like you're staying with friends. Atmosphere, food, team: simply top! Conclusion: If you are on Norderney, you should not miss this culinary short vacation. I'll definitely be back!

We are absolutely thrilled with Florina's Pesto Pesto, a small but fine Spanish tapas restaurant. If you like delicious Spanish cuisine and delicious wine, you've come to the right place, it's basically an insider tip. We particularly liked the dry cherry with tapas first. The freshly prepared dishes as well as the alcoholic delights are absolutely worth the price! Every time we visit the island we go there several times and look forward to it. Another tip: If you can't get a seat in the restaurant, you can take picnic treats with you to the beach.

Spanish Tappas Restaurant, all in all ok but nothing special. Unfortunately a bit narrow and loud. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the price/performance ratio doesn't quite fit here. And you are only informed that card payment is not possible when the bill is already on the table... luckily the ATM is nearby 😕

First of all, the overall impression was good and the food wasn't bad either. The service had difficulty keeping up with orders. The owner apologized to every guest and in our case the drinks were on the house. If you don't value service and don't necessarily want to eat fries or other run-of-the-mill things, this is definitely the place for you.

Seit einigen Jahren besuchen wir bei unserem Urlaub auf Norderney das Pesto Pesto. Wir waren auch dieses Jahr sehr zufrieden mit Essen und Trinken. Ein super Ambiente, sehr nette und engagierte Chefin. Alles war bestens. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder.

Exquisite food, you can look over the chef's shoulder thanks to the open kitchen, prices are still ok. Reservation is mandatory as the restaurant is very small and therefore there is only very limited space available.

Nett und gemütlich sitzt man im pesto pesto, muss allerdings aufgrund der offenen Küche die getragenen Sachen anschließend gut durchlüften. Die angebotenen Tapas sind alle frisch zubereitet (kann man ja zuschauen) und schmackhaft. Auch die Weinkarte ist ausreichend und o.k. Beim Service kann man sicherlich noch etwas optimieren, die Chefin springt zwischen Küche und Service hin und her um jeweils zu unterstützen. Das Restaurant ist immer komplett ausgebucht, ohne eine Reservierung geht gar nichts.

A very nice little restaurant with lots of delicious delicacies. We ate tapas and were thrilled.

Without a reservation you have no chance. The restaurant is very small, the seating is cramped - we could have easily eaten from two tables next to us. Otherwise the facility is quite nice. Beer is not part of the concept. We had the tapas platter for two: although a large part was already ready on the counter and less freshly fried, we waited an hour for our food. Apart from the greeting from the kitchen, bread and four spreads smeared in just one pot. Unfortunately, the animal died in vain for the beef fillet, which was completely cooked through and a bit tough. We also had dessert - time was already a bit tight, the next guests arrived shortly afterwards. A dessert was delivered incorrectly, but it was delicious - apart from a sharp-edged plastic splinter. The waitress responded very well: we got both desserts on the house. It would have been a shame if you had to pay for the nut tartufo, unfortunately that was nothing. The biggest drawback at the end: The extractor hood doesn't seem to work at all, you're completely smoked. All of the clothes can be put in the wash; my companion's eyes were watering. We wouldn't necessarily come back.

The tapas are great, everything is really tasty, but a repeated waiting time of over two hours is not acceptable. Our experience over two years is that there is an inherent problem of poor coordination. We won't be back and yes, vacation and time that we always take but wait over two hours, but again, the food is great. You can try with two, always reserve and better take the first round. Four people is already too many. Too bad...

Zunächst einmal muss gewarnt werden: Wer nicht auf verrauchte Kleidung steht, der sollte sich den Besuch vielleicht überlegen. Auch wenn er das vielleicht im Nachhinein bereut! Ganz ehrlich? Man muss kleine urige Lokale mögen und sich vielleicht nicht vorstellen, ob die Tapas (falls gewählt) auch auf den kleine Tischen Platz finden. Hier hat man sich weniger darüber Gedanken gemacht was geht sondern WIE! Mit Blick in die offene Küche, den üppig gefüllten Tresen und auf die fleissige Chefin am Herd die genau weiß was sie wann zu tun hat. Hier sitzt jeder Handgriff und man kann kaum erwarten das die Leckereien endlich auf dem Tisch landen. Wir labten uns an diesem Abend an zwei herrlichen Variationen aus der gut sortierten Speisekarte. Eine vegetarische und eine fleischlastige! Was soll man sagen? Volltreffer gelandet, frisch zubereitet, toll angerichtet, dazu zwei mal leckeren Chardonnay. Absoluter Traum. Was uns wenig gewundert hat an diesem schönen Abend war die Tatsache, dass das Lokal sehr gut besucht war. Gut das wir reserviert hatten. Ich glaube so mal eben spontan wäre das eher nichts geworden! Ach und zu guter letzt noch etwas zu den Preisen. Wir lagen ohne Dessert (das sicher sehr gut gewesen wäre aber eben nicht mehr reinpasste!) bei 81 €! Kurz schlucken und einfach wegatmen. Das ist keine TK Küche sondern authentisches frisch zubereitetes Essen aus hochwertigen Waren! Passt! Danke für einen sehr sehr schönen Abend…..

Very nice hosts with excellent food options. Everything is freshly prepared and therefore takes a while, which doesn't bother my wife and me because the result is worth it. The space is somewhat limited. Since I don't drink alcohol, I personally miss non-alcoholic beer. So I fall back on the San Pellegrino.

The two of us just "snowed in" without a reservation, the boss thought for a moment, quickly divided a table of four into two tables of two and voilà, we were able to stay! The tapas plate for two people was very tasty, as was the wine. If our stay on the island had been longer, we would have loved to have been a guest there again!!

Auf der Suche nach einem späten Abendimbiss bin ich in dem kleinen aber kuscheligen Restaurant gelandet. Ich hatte ein sehr leckeres Carpaccio und sehr guten Wein. Der Service ist ausgesprochen zugewandt. Ich habe Brot auf Anfrage ohne Aufpreis erhalten. Auch das Ambiente hat mir gefallen.

It was really a wonderful evening for us. We ordered tapas and were absolutely thrilled. It really was so delicious. Even though we sat at the “cat table” (directly at the counter), the small restaurant still had a special and cozy atmosphere. The service was extremely friendly, but unfortunately there was one service that didn't cash in on us at all. If we didn't tip enough, we're sorry. However, you should still remain friendly and not leave without saying a word. Too bad! The other two colleagues were really very nice! I would really recommend this restaurant to everyone. Wir haben an einem Abend draußen zwei Tapasvariationen gegessen, die in jedem Detail sehr lecker waren, auch der Wein schmeckte sehr gut. Die Inhaberin und ihre Servicekraft haben uns sehr freundlich angesprochen und bewirtet, vielen Dank dafür. Das Restaurant sahen wir im vergangenen Jahr zu spät in unserer Norderneywoche, nun klappte es und im nächsten Jahr kommen wir wieder.

It was our first time there and we really liked it, so we booked again straight away.

Soooo friends... The Pesto Pesto is worth a visit. The food is delicious and freshly prepared. The menu is just right for the small restaurant and not too big. Unfortunately, the biggest weak point here is the staff besides the boss, she is hard-working and very friendly but also seems stressed because of the staff. The first order goes quickly and the food arrives quickly, but after that it gets a little chaotic because of the communication problems with the waitresses. But all in all good.

The food was really great. Unfortunately, the service on the terrace really ruined our evening. Not only did she walk around with a "bad mood" look on her face...she also ignored our order, so that after over 90 minutes we had to ask the boss about our food. During this time we observed two couples who left their table after about 20 minutes each because they were simply ignored. Our waiting time was resolved with numerous apologies from the very nice boss. We just didn't see the bad-tempered service anymore. Too bad.

Well, more appearance and wanting than being. Extremely small shop and unfortunately also the menu. Tapas are all well and good, but there is no real selection. If you want tapas, you're almost forced to take the plate for two, unfortunately it's not worth the price at just under €55. No special features or anything, just gone. Of course it's the season but it can take a little more effort. Fish tapas are non-existent, as is paella. The service was really good and nice but I don't need a second try here, it's ripping off the tourists.

Die Vor- und Hauptspeisen waren geschmacklich hervorragend und wurden auch für das Auge entsprechend angerichtet. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und hat einem einem ein natürliches, herzliches Willkommensgefühl vermittelt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können das kleine Restaurant jedem nur empfehlen.
