Not as good as the original D.W restaurant in Hamburg. Fish was a bit chewy and service didnt seem to be on point. We had lunch on Sunday. Overall not too bad but for the price you pay it can be better.

A cute little restaurant with only a few tables, which is why a reservation is definitely recommended. The food selection is classic snack dishes (fish & chips, fish rolls, currywurst) and it definitely tastes delicious, but the prices are more on par with a restaurant, which is probably less due to the food than to the location and the ambience. At lunchtime the waiters seemed a bit overwhelmed trying to serve everyone, but they were friendly.

Really cozy location. I love the fish soup and the Fischbrötchen here.

Food is very good. Two stars because at 7 p.m. there was only half the ticket left, we had made a special reservation and drove through half the city. To then feel like you get the leftovers. If I had known this earlier I wouldn't have come. Then rescheduling again is also difficult... You feel compelled to eat the leftovers. Even if they are good leftovers...

We really enjoyed it here and the service was quick and friendly. We also liked the ambience in the old building. The price/performance ratio is good, so we are happy to recommend the Fleetschlösschen.

Here you notice again that friendly service, nice restaurant and very great quality are better. We were greeted by a friendly young man. Ordered 2 fish sandwiches and 2 mulled wine. The fish sandwiches were both very lovingly and generously topped. The fresh lettuce leaves and onions gave the matjes even more flavor. The mulled wine with shot was garnished with an orange slice and served very hot. Which goes well with the cold weather. If you really want quality for your money, avoid the Landungsbrücken and come here.

When we came in yesterday we were asked in a very unfriendly manner whether we wanted to eat or drink. And without waiting for our answer whether we speak German or English. The basement was very rude and disrespectful!

Such a cute restaurant! I had known the outside of the building for a long time, but I was finally there for a meal. The fish was as good as we have come to expect from Daniel Wischer. Everything else was just as good. We will definitely come back.

Simply unique, this small but fine restaurant. You should definitely book a table as space is very limited.

If you're craving some fish and chips while in Hamburg,this is the place to try it. It had decent flavor and crispiness. Service was quick , there's a line to order normally and it's self service. We were lucky to find a table at the time as it gets very busy.

Was there too early. There is no dedicated breakfast. But good coffee and a Franzbrötchen count for me. A very friendly and a Hanseatic acerbic service, who found a solution in the end, make four stars. Together with the cute building it gives five stars.

I found the Fleetschlösschen by chance during my visit to Hamburg. At first I was skeptical because the building is really small and right on the street, but it's worth every euro. I once ordered fish & chips and a large Alster and was very satisfied. The fish was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside with delicious tartar sauce, the fries were perfectly crispy and not too salty, and finally the highlight: the mango curry sauce for the fries. Absolutely awesome! The ambience of the restaurant is very squat due to the very limited space and you have to slide a little on the benches against the wall to get to your seat, but it's perfectly furnished. The owner Daniel is a very friendly guy and I felt extremely welcome. Since the kitchen can be seen directly from your seat, you automatically get to see the action as well as some of the funny conversations between the staff. All in all, I definitely recommend a visit to the Fleetschlösschen!😄 I'll come back next time and bring reinforcements!

Everything is perfect! It's so delicious that I want to go again

We decided to visit the restaurant motivated by the good reviews, but unfortunately, our experience was different. Although the place is famous for its excellent location, the quality of the food left a lot to be desired. We ordered fish & fries, a soup and ginger tea with mint. The fish was acceptable, but the soup turned out to be quite spicy and more like a tomato soup with few pieces of fish. The tea, for its part, arrived cold and with ginger that seemed old, which made it unappetizing and not recommended. As for value for money, it did not meet our expectations either. For €30, it is possible to eat better and in higher quality places. In short, I would not recommend this restaurant.

We came here based on the excellent reviews. Due to the restaurant's beautiful location, there is probably always a lot going on here, but the food didn't impress us at all. The price-performance ratio is terrible and we really can't recommend it to anyone. For over €30, a manageable portion of fish & chips that looked better than it was with a fish soup that was more like a spicy and salty tomato sauce with some fish! Service was okay so far, but the restaurant is not what you would expect. We really can't recommend it to anyone!

Today we spontaneously ended up in this small, fine restaurant. Since we Swiss landlubbers rarely get good fish on our plates, we ordered two different fish dishes. The food was really excellent, we were very fascinated by what was conjured up from the small kitchen. The service was very friendly and the food came without any significant waiting time, as we probably caught it at a good time. It's probably an insider tip that we discovered here by chance.

The best fish sandwich I’ve had. The bread and fish were exceptional and the place is charming (unfortunately was in a rush so couldn’t eat there). Friendly staff and would love to come back if I’m ever in Hamburg.

Great fish & chips restaurant. Nice service and great ambience in an old customs guard building. In the evening and probably also at lunchtime I would recommend reserving a place. We were there anticyclically (at 4 p.m.), had a reservation, and it was pretty full there too.

I was at the Fleetschlösschen on a Monday evening and felt completely at home! The fish & chips were really excellent and I absolutely loved them. Although it was a little busier due to a large table in front of me, I was very kindly advised that it might take a little longer - which I really appreciated. Despite the warning, the food came to the table quickly and fresh. The service was extremely friendly, attentive and warm. Overall, a wonderful atmosphere and a great experience! Thank you for the lovely evening, I would love to come back!

Fish & chips are delicious - of course, they are also wiper products. Here you can enjoy delicious food in a particularly beautiful atmosphere. Accordingly, you have to live with the fact that it is often overcrowded.

We were in this restaurant again for lunch after a long time. Instead of the usual fried fish, which I can also highly recommend because of the sauces that go with the fries, I decided on a salad with some bread and roasted lettuce . At almost €25 for what you get, I find it a bit pricey. But everything tasted good. We will come back.

It's so delicious, and the portion is huge. Of course, the price is a bit high, but it's worth it. Seats are a bit tight during peak hours, so you may have to wait.

We had reserved but no space was reserved. We would have to sit under the stairs. Many other tables inside were free. With the menu, which is not large, half of the dishes were sold out.

Fish & chips were great, although not cheap

When we go to a city by the sea, we always eat Fish & Chips. Therefore, I can say that we have a lot of experience in this regard. So, we have a high bar in this regard. 🙃 I can say that we generally liked what we ate at this shop in Hamburg. But it didn't have any extras. So it was normal in terms of taste and quality. Sauces, salad, potatoes etc. The same goes for .

The building is absolutely great, but far too small for this type of business. The staff is very friendly and patient. You can sit inside, but you can also sit outside. Prices are extremely exorbitant and you don't get nearly what you pay for, but famous names have to make a living after all. A restaurant or ImbissPlus for a snack in between, but then I'd rather go to a more comfortable restaurant, pay the same and get full.
