Great fish sandwich- if i come to Hamburg again I will certainly visit again.

Mega food, mega service, mega ambience

I found the Fleetschlösschen by chance during my visit to Hamburg. At first I was skeptical because the building is really small and right on the street, but it's worth every euro. I once ordered fish & chips and a large Alster and was very satisfied. The fish was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside with delicious tartar sauce, the fries were perfectly crispy and not too salty, and finally the highlight: the mango curry sauce for the fries. Absolutely awesome! The ambience of the restaurant is very squat due to the very limited space and you have to slide a little on the benches against the wall to get to your seat, but it's perfectly furnished. The owner Daniel is a very friendly guy and I felt extremely welcome. Since the kitchen can be seen directly from your seat, you automatically get to see the action as well as some of the funny conversations between the staff. All in all, I definitely recommend a visit to the Fleetschlösschen!😄 I'll come back next time and bring reinforcements!

Everything is perfect! It's so delicious that I want to go again

We decided to visit the restaurant motivated by the good reviews, but unfortunately, our experience was different. Although the place is famous for its excellent location, the quality of the food left a lot to be desired. We ordered fish & fries, a soup and ginger tea with mint. The fish was acceptable, but the soup turned out to be quite spicy and more like a tomato soup with few pieces of fish. The tea, for its part, arrived cold and with ginger that seemed old, which made it unappetizing and not recommended. As for value for money, it did not meet our expectations either. For €30, it is possible to eat better and in higher quality places. In short, I would not recommend this restaurant.

Despite many guests (booked out), they were able to accommodate 6 of us and have an excellent dinner. Thank you again

A quaint and small restaurant. The food is very tasty.

We came here based on the excellent reviews. Due to the restaurant's beautiful location, there is probably always a lot going on here, but the food didn't impress us at all. The price-performance ratio is terrible and we really can't recommend it to anyone. For over €30, a manageable portion of fish & chips that looked better than it was with a fish soup that was more like a spicy and salty tomato sauce with some fish! Service was okay so far, but the restaurant is not what you would expect. We really can't recommend it to anyone!

Great location with a nice team! Went to lunch with 12 men! Everything went great from the reservation to the payment! Everything is great, although there is still room for improvement!

Today we spontaneously ended up in this small, fine restaurant. Since we Swiss landlubbers rarely get good fish on our plates, we ordered two different fish dishes. The food was really excellent, we were very fascinated by what was conjured up from the small kitchen. The service was very friendly and the food came without any significant waiting time, as we probably caught it at a good time. It's probably an insider tip that we discovered here by chance.

The best fish sandwich I’ve had. The bread and fish were exceptional and the place is charming (unfortunately was in a rush so couldn’t eat there). Friendly staff and would love to come back if I’m ever in Hamburg.

Great fish & chips restaurant. Nice service and great ambience in an old customs guard building. In the evening and probably also at lunchtime I would recommend reserving a place. We were there anticyclically (at 4 p.m.), had a reservation, and it was pretty full there too.

I was at the Fleetschlösschen on a Monday evening and felt completely at home! The fish & chips were really excellent and I absolutely loved them. Although it was a little busier due to a large table in front of me, I was very kindly advised that it might take a little longer - which I really appreciated. Despite the warning, the food came to the table quickly and fresh. The service was extremely friendly, attentive and warm. Overall, a wonderful atmosphere and a great experience! Thank you for the lovely evening, I would love to come back!

Fish & chips are delicious - of course, they are also wiper products. Here you can enjoy delicious food in a particularly beautiful atmosphere. Accordingly, you have to live with the fact that it is often overcrowded.

We were in this restaurant again for lunch after a long time. Instead of the usual fried fish, which I can also highly recommend because of the sauces that go with the fries, I decided on a salad with some bread and roasted lettuce . At almost €25 for what you get, I find it a bit pricey. But everything tasted good. We will come back.

It's so delicious, and the portion is huge. Of course, the price is a bit high, but it's worth it. Seats are a bit tight during peak hours, so you may have to wait.

Such a cute restaurant! I had known the outside of the building for a long time, but I was finally there for a meal. The fish was as good as we have come to expect from Daniel Wischer. Everything else was just as good. We will definitely come back.

We heard about this place via YouTube & decided to try it out on our last day here in Hamburg. It did not disappoint. Good food, service & atmosphere. Friendly staff made it even better.

We had reserved but no space was reserved. We would have to sit under the stairs. Many other tables inside were free. With the menu, which is not large, half of the dishes were sold out.

Fish & chips were great, although not cheap

When we go to a city by the sea, we always eat Fish & Chips. Therefore, I can say that we have a lot of experience in this regard. So, we have a high bar in this regard. 🙃 I can say that we generally liked what we ate at this shop in Hamburg. But it didn't have any extras. So it was normal in terms of taste and quality. Sauces, salad, potatoes etc. The same goes for .

The building is absolutely great, but far too small for this type of business. The staff is very friendly and patient. You can sit inside, but you can also sit outside. Prices are extremely exorbitant and you don't get nearly what you pay for, but famous names have to make a living after all. A restaurant or ImbissPlus for a snack in between, but then I'd rather go to a more comfortable restaurant, pay the same and get full.

We went on a random summer day and had to wait a little bit to be seated. They are super nice and the food is amazing. Order the sweet potatoes vegan - a bit cheaper and veeery goood. Very nice place with a large terrace. They have good gestures towards the pets, they offered water, the waiters are friendly young people. The food is good with quality for a kiosk. Kitchen does not close. It's a bit expensive to be self-service

Was there too early. There is no dedicated breakfast. But good coffee and a Franzbrötchen count for me. A very friendly and a Hanseatic acerbic service, who found a solution in the end, make four stars. Together with the cute building it gives five stars.

Good address. The dishes are good and well served. The service is quite fast and efficient. The welcome is warm. Inside and on the terrace the place is nice even if inside it is quite small.

Don't understand the good reviews. This is simplest food complete without any love for food. Heads towards fish sticks.

Very tasty food but toilets and stairs weren't that clean

The food and the ambience of the restaurant are very nice and tasty and you get one of the best fish & chips in the city, but with a catch. I've been there three times so far. On the first visit, the service was also great and you were served - that was in the summer of 2022 The second visit was in the winter at the beginning of 2023. My impression was also great like the first visit. Then the third visit came in the summer of 2023 and the food was still good but the service was extremely bad, there was only ordering at the counter, no more service at the seat and the boss, if it was her, at least that's how she behaved, was in no mood at all and in a bad mood and was extremely impatient that you no longer felt comfortable and later an absolute no go that she also smoked in front of the guests and carelessly wiped the empty tables while smoking. That was the reason for me that I haven't been there for a year, but I'll give the restaurant one last chance later this year, let's see if I'm as convinced as I was on the first two visits.

Best fried fish I've ever had the pleasure of eating.

A really great little house worth visiting with really great and friendly staff. The old spiral staircase in this restaurant is very exciting and can also be entered or used, and of course it is also the only way to the cute little toilet. Every visitor to Hamburg should not leave this small restaurant or building out of their tourist program. Really great. All thumbs up, unfortunately I only have two. P.S.: A little tip, the Fleetschlösschen is very close to the Riverbus stop. Just by the way. However, it should also be mentioned that the food is not the cheapest in Hamburg (still very tasty and fresh) and the space is quite manageable due to the size of the building. The order was ready in 2 minutes. Food Fast food. Some kind of self-service. The choice is quite modest, the menu is divided into “before 18:00” and “after 18:00”.
