For a fish&chips restaurant you would expect both ingredients to be exceptional. Fish was nice, but the chips were inedible. Dry, over fried and soaking in oil. They also missed the remoulade. Seems to me like a really bad tourist trap.

The food was excellent. Unfortunately, the stairs to the restroom were impossible for non-acrobats to climb. Why this was allowed is a mystery to me.

Surprisingly good! I was thinking this would be a typical tourist trap, but I wanted to grab a quick bite on the way to the train station. The cucumber and regular salad were okay. The fried potatoes and fried fish were really good. Given the price and the fact that it's more of a fast food joint, I highly recommend the Fleetschlösschen for a quick bite.

You can dine while looking out over the port of Hamburg. You can eat fish and chips or burst at an outdoor table with self-service, and the atmosphere is good and the prices are reasonable.

It's okay if you want to sit outside; it's self-service. You should make a reservation for inside. The food was very good; the portion of fish and chips was huge.

Fish&Chips is really delicious but the portion can be more (otherwise it is a bit too expensive to be honest). The dessert and drinks look also good.

Nice for a drink and Fischbrötchen by the river - very interesting history to the place too, but I'm not going to spoil it for anybody by revealing it here!

We were robbed by the same employees. They tricked us. After ordering in English and pointing out the menu, they brought us whatever they wanted. When we complained, an extremely rude employee told us they wouldn't change it, that it was just that, and that we had ordered it incorrectly. Taking advantage of the fact that we don't speak German, they would have smashed the plate in his face if I wasn't afraid of going to jail in a foreign country.

Make a reservation early, as there are limited seats inside. The ambiance is unique. Small menu - great quality! The wild herb salad with salmon was excellent.

Great fried fish eaten in a great atmosphere

So bad sooo bad. I waited over 30 minutes for some fries. I just wanted to buy some fries and and continue walking. After asking a few times they always told me that it can take some time but other people who came after me already got their food. There was no logical order about their servis. And when I asked them for a 5th time in a angey way, they gave me some cold bad fries without anything. I would never ever go there again. Im myself a foreigner but the people in the kitchen were also foreigners and they didnt give a fk what they are doing

The place is very cute, the inside is small and smelly. It is more enjoyable to sit outside, but when it is cold and windy in Hamburg, it can sometimes be unpleasant outside. We ate a fish specific to Hamburg and a fish and chips with red potatoes. I think we paid 45€ which is a bit too much, but the sauces, potatoes and fish were delicious and it was filling. We were satisfied.

A very nice little restaurant in the heart of the Speicherstadt. We had a fish sandwich with fried fish and fish cakes. Very tasty and a fair price.

Daniel Wischer – a Hamburg institution. The restaurant in the Fleetschlösschen is absolutely wonderful!

The food is very good. It is a cool building but very small. Luckily we hit it right before the lunch rush, so make reservations for peak hours.

Very nice location, pleasant atmosphere. However, it's far too expensive for self-service, the selection and quality are nothing special, and the staff are moderately friendly. I won't be going back.

Very tasty food in the heart of Hamburg in a perfect location. The food arrived quickly and was freshly prepared. The staff were super friendly and always made sure to bring a laugh. The prices are relatively expensive.

The fish and chips with sweet potatoes were good. Unrequested, extra portions of sweet potatoes were charged extra. The bill only arrived after repeated requests. A tip was demanded upon payment for non-existent service.

The fish was decent—good, but nothing particularly memorable. We ordered the Fischfrikadelle and Backfisch; between the two, I would recommend the Fischfrikadelle. The Bratkartoffeln were underwhelming—usually much better in other German restaurants. The fries, however, looked quite appealing (though we didn’t try them). The total bill for one Fischfrikadelle, one Backfisch, two sides of Bratkartoffeln, sauces, and two Fritz Kola came to €43. The setting is cozy and full of character, although quite cramped, with voices echoing noticeably. The background music was pleasant and played at a comfortable volume. Be aware that the place is usually packed, so you may have to wait for a table.

Delicious, freshly prepared food! All dishes are top quality! If you want to sit inside, be sure to make a reservation, as there's very little space—but it's very cozy! There's always room outside, but it's self-service! We go there every time we visit Hamburg!

Thank you so much for this lovely evening yesterday. We celebrated with 10 people, which was certainly a bit of a challenge, but everyone was still very well looked after. The Labskaus was delicious, and the fried fish was super juicy and not at all oily. Fries 🍟 A-grade. Thanks to the crew for the hearty food.

A small stroke of luck in the heart of the Speicherstadt (Warehouse District). We were lucky and were able to get a table spontaneously for five people. You sit around the kitchen block, as if you were in your own kitchen. Sure, there's not much space. But what a great location. The menu is clearly laid out. Very clever. This allows the kitchen to prepare the food very fresh, very promptly, and, above all, very deliciously. The value for money is absolutely perfect for the location. I'd be happy to go back.

Delicious food, not exactly cheap. Unfortunately, it's self-service only, but that's understandable given the customer frequency. Restrooms aren't wheelchair accessible.

We went to this restaurant for lunch again after a long break. I opted for a salad with bread and toasted lettuce instead of the usual fried fish, which I highly recommend because of the sauce that comes with the fries. Small, cute restaurant. Great fish and chips with a fantastic curry dip. The restaurant is very small; when full, it quickly gets crowded. The restroom is upstairs via a spiral staircase. Not suitable for older people with mobility issues. I hate that there's no outside service. People have to go to the makeshift counter and quickly clog up the entrance. It's a shame! The restaurant has a great atmosphere.

At the beginning of the Hafencity in Hamburg, you can enjoy your drinks and food in a relaxed location. While watching the busy streets at the Hafencity, you have the opportunity to relax. The food menue is limited but good. Fleetschlösschen is a small house with limited indoor capacity but during summer/spring times you have the opportunity to sit outside. It‘s more a bistro than a restaurant.

Be sure to try the fried fish with potato and cucumber salad!

Very small restaurant with delicious food! We were full and the fish tasted good!

In last evening in city we ordered burger with shrimps, but they put instead sandwich with salted fish (they have this position in menu and it chipper than shrimps hamburger twice). We took order by themselves and no options how to return money or get our correct order. Ruined last evening in city.

We ordered a fischbrötchen with shrimps but we got a fischbrötchen with matjes (and we payed 12.5 euros for this). We asked it take away and checked it only at hotel. Always check your order at the restaurant.

The fish and chips as well as the herring and fish cake rolls were excellent! I can't decide which one I liked best because everything was so good 😍 If you sit outside, you get your order yourself at the counter. The location is wonderful, only the seagulls scare you a bit, but nothing was stolen from our plates. Absolute recommendation!

It would have been nice, but the lady at the bar said to me: “We’re closing.” That was around 5 p.m. Later I walked past again and saw that they were open after all.

Now a herring and crab roll with 0.3l of cola for around €25 is quite an order of magnitude where the homemade sourdough rolls and our own sauces were made with special love for food. Conclusion: The two rolls were tasty and well topped. Nevertheless, for the last 5th star, the roll would be at least a little crispy and at best also larger to justify over €20 for two “fish rolls”.

We simply gave up our reserved table even though we were on time. Unfortunately not the best way. We had reserved a long time in advance. 😕 Not good service!

Ordered: Fish soup with pollock, crayfish and freshly baked sourdough bread. Get: Soup with a few small pieces of crayfish. Only after a complaint was fish and “sourdough bread” added. Intention? Of course you can also save money on the customer...

Miniature restaurant with a small but fine selection of North German fast food; the restaurant is so small that you sit cramped and half in the kitchen. The service inside suffers from high demand; The restaurant is not served outside.

The restaurant only has very limited seating - no chance spontaneously. We were very satisfied with the food. The fish and chips were very tasty. The dips are great. The service staff tried hard, but were overwhelmed because of the many people.

More than unprofessional to cancel a table for 8 people on the same day of the reservation - without calling and without explanation. The table was booked in Vorsus for a long time. We will no longer visit the chain's restaurants.

Ordered fish and chips, but received a **bare plate** while neighboring tables had tartar sauce and lemon wedges (clearly part of the standard dish). When confronted, the staff snapped: "*Why didn’t you complain earlier?*" – **Are first-time customers supposed to read your mind about missing ingredients?** This place specializes in: 1. **Cheating customers** (skimping on basics to save pennies). 2. **Blame-shifting staff** (zero accountability). 3. **Random dish standards** (your meal depends on your mood). **WARNING:** Pay full price for half the product, then get insulted for noticing! Never again! --- Fraudulent unequal treatment + outrageous service! Hands off! Incredibly bold! Our "fish and chips" came **without remoulade sauce and lemon** – even though all the other guests clearly received their side dishes! When we pointed this out (after our meal!), the waitress snapped: "*Why didn't you tell us this earlier?*" – **Are new customers supposed to be clairvoyant enough to recognize your poor food?** They offer these "special features": 1. **Cheating the customer** (standard ingredients are secretly omitted). 2. **Cheeky blame** (instead of an apology). 3. **Chaos kitchen** (no uniform standards). **WARNING:** If you pay full price for half a dish, you'll be insulted! Never again!

The Fleetschlösschen looks quite interesting from the outside but that's all. Inside it is very small and narrow. We were sitting in the entrance and the door was open, so our friends were sitting at the table with their jackets on. Over time, a lady came from the service and only closed one half of the door later then the second half of the door when there was no longer any service outside. The selection of food was manageable. The food was ok, but my fried fish was a bit too fatty. The cucumber salad was delicious. The portion was a bit too small for me. So a dessert would have been great. Unfortunately, we wait until today for dessert. There were 4 of us. One of us was still eating when our plates were already cleared (I don't think that's good and neither did he) when it was finished he sat there for a long time without his plate being cleared. We weren't asked if we would like dessert and no one else came. At some point the plate was finally cleared away. Without asking for dessert or coffee. After waiting some more, we asked for the bill and went to the cathedral and had our dessert there. Personally, I don't go to the Fleetschlösschen a second time because I attach great importance to service.

The food tasted delicious. The portions are quite small. You could choose the potato side dish. The restaurant has charm but it is very narrow inside, the tables are very close to each other. The service was sometimes unfriendly, people cleared away even though someone was still eating at the table. The food came quickly but after that we were ignored. Lots of people were sitting there with jackets on, the door was open and it was cold. At some point the service said she would close the door but the service kept having to come out and it got cold again.

We would have really loved to eat there. Unfortunately, we were pointed out firmly and harshly that there was no currywurst to order outside, only fish rolls. The table right in front of the restaurant was fine. We felt like supplicants. The reason was flimsy... Because you can't see it outside. It's a shame in itself, but we then ate a very good currywurst for 7.90 instead of 15.90 a few meters away.

One of the best fish sandwiches ever. Everything was right there. Fresh, everything perfectly coordinated. Unexpectedly good. An absolute recommendation.

The place was pretty full. There is seating both outside and inside; Self-service applies to guests outside. If you sit outside, you have to order inside yourself. You then get a device with a number that beeps when your order is ready - then you pick it up yourself. The restaurant is in a tourist area where there aren't many food options, so the prices are quite high. Fish and chips, for example, cost 16.50 euros. It tasted good, but it's definitely not worth the price. Still, it's a nice place.

The building looks great and you can sit outside and take a break. But of course it is very expensive (wheat €6.90), the tables are not washed (outside) and it is very tight inside. Self-service, toilet on the upper floor (spiral staircase).

We were there because of Labskaus and were not disappointed. Cramped, cozy but the friendly staff and the many places outside mean that even space-phobic people can enjoy this location. Any time. Thank you for your love for your job, which you can feel. I enjoyed sorting your FritzKola boxes. 😘

The girl at the counter must have thought I was stupid and blind. I told her my son and I wanted to have dinner. She said we had to wait for 45 minutes, but all the people before me in the line didn't have to wait. Then she told me we could sit anywhere outside, although there was a sign that said "wait to be seated". I asked her about the difference between two dishes and she put faces. Then when I came back to pick my order, there were no forks in the basket, so I asked her for two forks and she said, with another face, that there were forks in the basket, she said "here" looking at the empty basket and then going back to pick some. The fish was just fine. A bit overdone I'd say. The curry sauce was good.

The fish sandwiches are really tasty and special. The interior is quite small and cramped but very charming. It's self-service outside and the restaurant is right next to a busy street, but the seating is still quite pleasant.

It was the best fish & chips I've ever eaten. Even though it was my first time trying the shrimp sandwich, I loved it. The environment, the staff, the food are all great. This is a restaurant that everyone who comes to Hamburg should definitely visit.

Daniel Wischer in the Fleetschlösschen, limited seating inside, in summer you can sit outside 🛋 and eat delicious fish dishes. A great building from the old free port times. Prices very high, but good food quality. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately there is no potato salad yet. And without that, I don't need the fish cake. But I'm really looking forward to the next visit.
