So I bought a large fries and 2 burgers there. I have to say, a burger for just under €10 is really cheeky. And the burger makers did everything wrong. I didn't get anything I entered.

Like all Five Guys, the food was delicious, only it is becoming more and more expensive, with England's overpriced prices

Toilets are horrible!!!! You can't lock the door, you had to hold it with your foot, the toilet flushes itself every 15 seconds, you can't wash your hands because the water burns and the pipes under the sink are not tight and water flies everywhere. Better to poop around the corner instead of in this store

Five Guys always impresses in terms of taste, but the service is catastrophic....Fast food chain, but I waited what felt like an hour for my food....no receipt came out at the order counter and they were overwhelmed when asked at the checkout!

Good location, good food? A little expensive but good quality so it justifies the prices, however the restaurant was a little dirty

Only went there because it was full on Mc. Really dirty, alot if drunk people, crowded, the food was 1% better taste then Mc and that’s really bad taking in the consideration that the MC is very cheap. Very expensive, the fries didn’t have any paprika seasonings as they usually do, alot of waiting time, no receipt back and not alot of choices. Mc has 10x more items in the menu then them. Really disappointed compared with the price paid.

It is a little more expensive than its main competitor, on the other hand, it gives you unlimited drinks, the amount of peanuts you want, and free sauces. We were greeted by a woman who spoke Spanish and she took great care of us. You can order at the machines at the entrance or at the counter itself without problems. The burgers are a good size, you can add any toppings you want and they serve you a lot of fries apart from the ones you already ordered. It's well worth it, but just know that there are only beef burgers, no chicken.

25 euros for a dried up hamburger and some hard fries. Many reviews on the wall that say otherwise, but this was not worth it at all.

Five Guys is a great restaurant for burger lovers. The burgers are very tasty and have the great advantage that you can personalize them according to your own wishes. The ingredients are fresh and of high quality. However, the prices are quite high, which could be a disadvantage for some. The waiting time is average – not too long, but not particularly fast either. Overall, I give the restaurant 4 out of 5 stars because the quality and taste are really impressive, but the prices could be a little cheaper.

The staff can hardly speak any German. Had cucumber on the burger even though I didn't order any. Milkshakes are so overpriced at €6.95 for 0.4l, but they taste good. I would like to know what's actually in there. Because it can't be natural ingredients that justify the price. The upper floor is dirty, especially in the corners and under the tables. The burger was cold, the cheese didn't even melt. Hygiene in the kitchen: almost none. Despite wearing gloves, the staff touch each other and then the food. Looking back, I don't even know why I ate it in the first place. The smeared receipt alone is an imposition. The purest germ killer.

The restaurant is clean from the inside, the meals are filling, and the prices are reasonable. The idea of ​​pistachios is nice. After you order, you put in pistachios and have fun while the order is prepared.

We ordered 2 citizens and 1 fries for 30€ and not even 1 drink... Citizens are a bit too expensive

The furnishings are straightforward and clear. The primary colors are red and white. It's clean. It has the charm of a fast food restaurant because you wait at the counter for the food you previously ordered on screens (like at McDonalds). The selection of food is not nearly as large. You want to focus more on quality, what you really taste. Once you order, everything is freshly prepared without exception. No burger is prepared on warming plates. This means that you have to wait a few minutes for your food. If it is full, correspondingly longer. But the quality makes up for it sufficiently. My favorite are the fries. The price here is a little above average compared to other restaurants. But the enjoyment is simply A1. With peel and not overly salted. The drinks are refills. You get a huge selection. Almost like in the drinks market. (but stay away from Cola Cherry or raspberry... 😉) Otherwise no complaint. Bon appetit.

Hamburgers and fries are as successful as ever. However, peanuts are not available in the common area like in other branches, you have to specify that you want peanuts when ordering. Centrally located close to Cologne cathedral.

I've been a fan of Five Guys so far, but was completely disappointed this time! 2/3 of the self-service screens didn't work, the staff could barely speak German (irrelevant to me, but not everyone in Germany can and needs to be able to speak English), it took a relatively long time for Five Guys, the fries were inedibly salty and some of them were inedible The colleagues' burgers were cold. Given the prices, I'd rather have good service at another burger restaurant.

The waiting times are disgusting

There was no mayo in the containers but only in small bags, so we filled the mayo from the bags into the containers. Unfortunately, we saw straight away that the mayo was thicker than normal mayo, and it smelled sour, so we threw the mayo away. But we still wanted something to dip in for the fries, so we used ketchup, which had strange bubbles on it, it also smelled sour, I googled it and it came out that bubbles in ketchup are supposed to be mold?! Unfortunately the fries were very wobbly and not really crispy. Otherwise the burger was very, very tasty as always!! :))

Food was good and fresh, just like regular Five Guys anywhere. I didn't give 5 star because it wasn't fast, as in "fast food". Took over 15 minutes for my order to be prepared and it was even that busy. But besides that it was good.

Unfortunately I can't give zero stars. Absolute disgrace what is served here. Overpriced, taste is zero and the fries are so seasoned that they are not edible. Peanuts moldy.

Something just for young people

Just a regular burger. I could it the same in a regular chain. You don’t have to pay 12€ for that!

A typical Five Guys experience, but it was surprising to find self-order machines here, as many locations don’t have them. On the downside, and in line with other reviews I’ve read, the cheese on the burger wasn’t even melted. Another issue was with the iced tea... I selected it expecting a regular iced tea, but it turned out to be carbonated. The machine didn’t clearly indicate if there was a non-carbonated iced tea option available.

As far as I understand, tastes vary in every restaurant. While Vienna is very good, I cannot say the same for Cologne. The burger upset my stomach. Also, it's not worth the amount you spend.

DISASTER!!!!!! We were sitting right at the entrance to the kitchen and a mouse came out of the kitchen. Disgusting. The store should close, you can't serve something like that, especially at prices like that Doesn't work at all

Worst Five Guys I have been to (And I mean it). Service,food,hygiene whatever your criteria is believe me this place would not fulfill it. They didnt even have peanuts.

It was nice, the seating on the upper floor was airy and spacious, the fries were great and the burger was also good.

Good proximity to the tourist attractions of Cologne. Offers plenty of space to settle down. However, we found some hiccups; the burger was borderline lukewarm unlike the boiling fries. We did not receive our drinks during service, special mention for the waiter who spoke very good English who pleaded our case and who apologized on behalf of the team. In terms of value for money, it was a first for Five Guys, we found the prices much too high. (40€ for two people).

Food is really good and the quality is top for a fast food chain. Prices are a bit expensive, but it's worth checking out!

It was my first time there and it was cool. The second floor was nice and quiet, but the lower floor was a bit too loud.

Fries were delicious, burgers were mediocre, dirty, trash cans were full and everything was sticky. Toilets were a disaster, water was way too hot and couldn't be regulated, flush was broken. You get a paper bag and citizens in aluminum foil and you can see food then kind of spread out on the sticky table. Refilling drinks is nice.

Hands down the most expensive tasteless burger I've ever had and trust me I've been to a lot of fast food chains. 15€ for a burger and not even a chip to to be seen. Sitting looking at my wife here debating to go to McDonald's now that it was so disappointing. Also order jalapeños which tasted like peppers pretty sure they where. Also the hot sauce might as well been salad cream. So yeah very disgusted with this one now over and out.

Very nice service. Everything explained patiently. Unfortunately the price is very excessive. The fries (large) for around 9 euros were quite ok and the quantity was more than enough for 2-3 people. Unfortunately, the burger itself wasn't the least bit convincing. The meat is too dry and unseasoned (no salt). You can freely choose ingredients. Given the price (cheeseburger for 12.50) that's the minimum. If you make your own burger at home, perhaps for the first time, then it tastes identical. When I make burgers at home it tastes worlds better. I promised myself more. 3 burgers, one fries and a drink total around 50 euros. This is more expensive than in the good burger shops, where you get fresh meat and can choose the cooking level. All in all just ok. If it hadn't been so expensive I wouldn't have eaten it. Wouldn't go again.

The burgers and fries we ordered were really good!! Full marks for that. Unfortunately, the service gets points deducted... the staff couldn't speak any/hardly any German and it was somehow difficult to speak English either. For my mother, who doesn't speak English, it was a challenge to order a medium portion of fries. The employee seemed pretty annoyed, which I can't understand.

Kitchen management is very bad. There is no such thing as order tracking. The team is incredibly dispersed. Those who order 10 minutes after you can receive their order 10 minutes before you. Never Five Guys Cologne again!

I didn't know about it until now, but I have to say that I was really surprised, the burgers were freshly topped and really tasty, the small ones Fries were at least in normal life a medium fries, so enough for 2 and tasted really good. In terms of price, of course, it's not comparable to MCes, but it's also not in terms of taste, because it's 1000 times better. So I highly recommend it if you want to eat something quickly!!

I ordered a cheeseburger. You can choose all the ingredients yourself. Cost: 12.50 euros for a cheeseburger with cucumbers, onions, mayo and ketchup. Service good. Unfortunately, you still have to order at the counter in the traditional way. I hope the terminals like mcd's come soon. Ambience is nice but not that contemporary anymore.

Via UberEats 14 euros for a mini burger and 7 euros for a milkshake that wasn't even included, so I spent 22 euros for a burger that I ate in 3 minutes. Way too overpriced. People prefer to go to McDonalds, I don't recommend it, you spend a fortune on mediocre food and don't even get what you ordered.

Top local. Burgers simply legendary. The staff always felt like they were in a good mood.

Awesome burgers AND fries AND soft drinks! A bit pricey but totally worth it!

I ordered a cheese bacon burger and added ketchup and onions, with a small fries and a soda. The burger was very bad—the bun was dry, the meat was decent, the bacon was nonexistent, and the cheddar wasn't even melted. The fries are the best thing about this place, along with the variety of sodas to choose from. I don't recommend eating here if you're craving a burger.

Tried Five Guys here for the first time. A bit expensive, but tasty. Free refill drinks is nice. I can recommend the bacon cheeseburger with fries. However, I don't think the bag in which the food is presented is that nice. I think a tray like the competitors would be more suitable. The prices here also charge a little more than the usual fast food shop. But overall good. I will definitely eat there again.

For fast food, it's simply the best you can get. Burgers are prepared fresh in front of the guests, put together according to their own wishes. There are plenty of fries - more than fits into the containers. There are vending machines for drinks where you can tap your own favorite drink. I deducted points for the high prices. The ambience was okay, but nothing special.

Ate at Five Guys for the first time. My food was ok (sandwich was more of a burger..). Fries are great!! Drink choice is bombastic. Staff was really nice after my concern was taken seriously. I hope that the staff will keep their eyes open in the future, as there are already some suspicious people sitting up on the first floor. Therefore ambience only 2/5 stars.

Well first you have to say the staff was friendly. The food was quite ok. The fact that you can drink as much as you want is also very nice. Overall, it wasn't worth it. The store is too expensive. To do this you need codes for the toilets. When I went downstairs everything smelled of chlorine. The floor was totally slippery! I kept almost falling on the toilet because everything was so wet. The water from the sink is scalding hot!! I tried turning it and seeing if you could keep it cold or at least not so hot but nothing! The store is honestly not worth it.

Service & ambience were good. Nice fast food restaurant in a prime location. Restaurant was clean. But the food can be prepared better. Tastes great as always. However, some of the meat in the burger was cold. The fries must be much better, they weren't crispy and very limp. You can definitely do better, even if it was at the time of the European Football Championship. There was enough preparation time for this.

Among others, this famous “Five Gentlemen”: First of all, false advertising, there were more than 5 servers! Besides, I don't see how such a multinational fast food company could operate with only 5 gentlemen, you need at least one lady to run the house. The proof: on my own, I'm not even capable (without my weasel) of serving myself a latte macchiato.... By machine! Here, given this magnificent diversity, the house turns. The burgers were perfectly smasched (I'm not sure what that means, but it seems fashionable), very good. Savory and fried fries. A special thank you to the waiter who took care of us, without him, our cheeseburger would have been very thin (I quote his rescue: "No salad? Topping is free!"). Friendly staff, great burger and clean restaurant

If I could I would give fewer stars. The burger was tasty, but wrapped in aluminum foil with the cheese stuck to it. We also had fries and a chocolate milkshake. The fries were so salty that I still have a salty taste in my mouth 2 hours later. The milkshake tasted completely artificial and was only sweet, quite good as a counterpart to the salty, but not actually enjoyable. Friends of ours had hot dogs, the sausage was burnt and very dry. The prices are far too high for the fact that some of the food was not edible. We won't go there again.

The employee didn't speak or understand German, so the wrong food came. Burgers tasted ok, the bun didn't, the cheapest of the cheap. 7.50 for a medium portion of fries that were all soggy is simply cheeky. NEVER AGAIN ! COMPLETELY OVERRATED

Perfect location, right in Cologne city center on Neumarkt. It was our first time at Five Guy's. I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. The burgers as well as the fries were great, tasted really good, the fries were very seasoned. The only drawback was the price, 2 burgers, 1 large fries and 2 drinks €40!!

Visited in the late afternoon, the place was very empty. Still quite a long wait for a burger and a portion of fries. The burger was OK, but nothing more (I would expect more for the price). The fries were totally soggy. Five Guys can do that better. Everything in disposable packaging, even if consumed in the restaurant. This is no longer up to date. The price is excessively high for the performance offered.

Yesterday, June 14th, 2024, I ordered online and paid for pickup in the store (Cliuck+collect). This completely overwhelmed the store. Apparently I was the first person to ever do that. They didn't want to give me my food at first and I had to contact the head office by email to get my money refunded. After talking to the manager and waiting for a while, the system found my order, forwarded it and I got a free drink. Nice service. Food tastes very tasty. However, the burgers are wrapped in aluminum foil, which is no longer appropriate.

I don't understand why these burgers are so popular. It was an average burger, not bad but nothing special either. The positive thing is that everything is freshly prepared, but this does mean long waiting times. If you are in a hurry, you should take this into account. The restaurant itself seems cold and sterile and doesn't invite you to linger. Prices tend to be on the higher side.

The price on menu is exclusive of tax!!! It’s too pricey, 20€ per person in a fast food restaurant, but the taste of burger is not bad. Unfortunately, the milkshake makes me disappointed. I would give it five stars if it were sweeter and more creamy.
