The food was very fresh, crispy, and, as you'd expect, prepared directly. I can't say anything bad about the service either; my wish was fulfilled. I'll definitely eat here again.

It was a flavor I was very curious about. However, unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The location is very good, just a minute from the cathedral. We visited early. The store was incredibly clean. Since it wasn't crowded, our order was ready in about 7-8 minutes. First of all, the salt and spice ratio was completely unbalanced. The fries were drenched in cajun spice, while the burger was unsalted. Prices range from 12.5€ for a burger, 4.5€ for a drink, and 6-8€ for fries. Honestly, I wouldn't go back. We paid around 36€ for two people.

The food was delicious, and the large fries were enough for three people to share. And we all got a burger and a drink. But it was really expensive!

Our order was not accepted and we had to wait 30 minutes

We did not like it. 1. No warm drinks. 2. Overpriced burgers for their quality. 3. Overal atmosphere - bad students place. And not even for university students. So after we checked real food that people get from the counter we canceled the almost formed order and I am glad we did it.

Dirty store, arrogant and aggressive staff. Refusal to open the disabled toilets even though the three women's restrooms are out of order (locked) or too dirty to access. Strongly not recommended.

It was my first visit to FiveGuys. The fries were great, and the burger got a 3/5. I think it's overhyped, but that's just my personal opinion. At the end of the day, it's just a chain restaurant.

For me, this is the best burger place. Make your burger the way you like it. And the fries are super delicious.

Food was good and fresh, just like regular Five Guys anywhere. I didn't give 5 star because it wasn't fast, as in "fast food". Took over 15 minutes for my order to be prepared and it wasn't even that busy. But besides that it was good.

It's great because you can order at the kiosks. I also love the freestyle soda machines where you can mix and match drinks. The quality of the products is what you'd expect from a Five Guys, and the team works very well!

Their burgers were highly praised, but once you try them, you realize they're not that great. You can come for the fries and milkshake; they're delicious and good. We paid around 12.5 euros for a burger and 5.5 euros for fries. If you're really curious, you should try them. The complimentary peanuts they served were nice.

The ingredients used are okay, but the burgers somehow lack flavor. They also only serve cheap American corn syrup Coca-Cola. If it weren't for the high prices, it would be okay. But for what you get, it's simply too expensive compared to competitors.

Went up to the counter and informed nicely and asked to make sure, if they have received the order. The response was, if I also wanted a penthouse? The rest of the service was in that standard. Absolutely overpriced food. There aren't even proper menus. Instead, you have to buy everything individually, each of which costs a fortune. The wait time was relatively long; we waited almost 30 minutes for an order of just a milkshake. The atmosphere wasn't very inviting either; those hard wooden chairs were very uncomfortable. The way the food was served was also very poorly done. The burger was completely wrapped in aluminum foil and thrown onto a dreary metal tray, which didn't taste good either. Next to it were the fries, half in a cup, half tossed onto the tray, but they tasted very good. The milkshake also tasted very good, but when you remember the price, the pain outweighs it. You can refill your own drinks, and the selection is also large, which is very nice, but the negative impressions unfortunately outweigh the negative ones.

Unfortunately, despite the small number of customers, the wait was very long. Almost 10 minutes for a burger and a small portion of fries is a lot, even if the food is freshly made. With a small drink, I ended up spending over €20... That's ambitious and makes me wonder if this will continue to be my burger joint of choice in the future? These are definitely the best fries I've had at a fast food chain. The wait for the burger is quite long, but at the end of the meal, you're happy. As I said, the fries are absolutely top-notch.

I've always been satisfied with Five Guys at Cologne Cathedral. The burgers and fries are delicious and fresh. Unfortunately, this time I got tomatoes on my burger instead of the salad I requested. Since I have a tomato allergy and didn't notice until I got home, this was disappointing. A small notice at the counter or better control when ordering would have been appreciated. Disappointing – Not Good Value for Money I visited the Five Guys near Cologne Cathedral with my partner today – unfortunately, it wasn't a positive experience. The place was crowded, with long lines and a loud atmosphere. The burgers and fries tasted okay, but given the high prices, I would have expected much more. The value for money here is absolutely not there. The dirty restroom was particularly negative. Furthermore, there is virtually no service – you have to clear everything yourself, and tables are dirty from the previous customer. I definitely won't be coming back for fast food at exorbitant prices.

I stopped in briefly to try a burger. It was delicious and fresh. It's a different experience to choose your own ingredients. It's definitely worth doing.

Yesterday during our trip to Cologne, we had dinner there—there were five of us. The burger was juicy and delicious. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. We really liked the seasoning. The unlimited drinks were also great. A 5-star restaurant.

My first visit to Five Guys (at Cologne Cathedral) – and definitely my last. There were two of us and we paid just under 50 euros for two burgers, two fries, and two drinks. What did we get? Mediocre burgers, mediocre fries – absolutely nothing that justifies the price. They do offer an extra portion of fries and a free drink refill, but that doesn't make it any better. The restaurant was almost empty, but we still had to wait about 20 minutes. There were only three Five Guys today – and they seemed completely unmotivated. On top of that, there were dirty restrooms and a pungent chlorine smell throughout the entire downstairs area – not exactly inviting either. We should have gone for the pizza next door. Not a recommendation, and no chance of repeating.

Sickly overpriced for small burgers

The food is very good and the fries are served generously, however I find it expensive for a fast food restaurant to pay €35 for 2. Our 2 menus were €13.50 each (fries and drinks not included), so we had a portion of small fries for 2 at €5. The burgers are very compact and the fries are good quality.

This was by far the worst meal I've ever had. The packaging was a disaster – everything was falling apart, soggy, and dripping. A shake was completely forgotten, and apparently no one checked the order. The completely overpriced fries were absolutely soggy – any local chip shop could do a much better job for half the price. The burgers? A complete disappointment. Cold, soggy, the bread was soft and ripped right apart, and everything just fell apart. For the price, I really expected something completely different. Overall, just disappointing. Once and never again.

Delicious burgers 🍔 and limp fries, long waiting time. The ordering terminals tend to break down and the queue becomes even longer. Although the staff is busy getting the shop in shape, the tables (2 "tested yesterday") are so sticky that you can't even lift them with a napkin. There is a tingling sensation in your fingers that you have to wipe off before you can “enjoy” the already lukewarm burger and cold fries.

Normally crowed and burgers are good but a bit pricey for what you get, but anyway is ok for the price of burgers in other similar places.

Toilets are horrible!!!! You can't lock the door, you had to hold it with your foot, the toilet flushes itself every 15 seconds, you can't wash your hands because the water burns and the pipes under the sink are not tight and water flies everywhere. Five Guys always impresses in terms of taste, but the service is catastrophic....Fast food chain, but I waited what felt like an hour for my food....no receipt came out at the order counter and they were overwhelmed when asked at the checkout!

Only went there because it was full on Mc. Really dirty, alot if drunk people, crowded, the food was 1% better taste then Mc and that’s really bad taking in the consideration that the MC is very cheap. Very expensive, the fries didn’t have any paprika seasonings as they usually do, alot of waiting time, no receipt back and not alot of choices. Mc has 10x more items in the menu then them. Really disappointed compared with the price paid.

We were greeted by a woman who spoke Spanish and she took great care of us. You can order at the machines at the entrance or at the counter itself without problems. The burgers are a good size, you can add any toppings you want and they serve you a lot of fries apart from the ones you already ordered. It's well worth it, but just know that there are only beef burgers, no chicken.

The staff can hardly speak any German. Had cucumber on the burger even though I didn't order any. Milkshakes are so overpriced at €6.95 for 0.4l, but they taste good. I would like to know what's actually in there. Because it can't be natural ingredients that justify the price. The upper floor is dirty, especially in the corners and under the tables. The burger was cold, the cheese didn't even melt. Hygiene in the kitchen: almost none. Despite wearing gloves, the staff touch each other and then the food. Looking back, I don't even know why I ate it in the first place. The smeared receipt alone is an imposition. The purest germ killer.

The furnishings are straightforward and clear. The primary colors are red and white. It's clean. It has the charm of a fast food restaurant because you wait at the counter for the food you previously ordered on screens (like at McDonalds). The selection of food is not nearly as large. You want to focus more on quality, what you really taste. Once you order, everything is freshly prepared without exception. No burger is prepared on warming plates. This means that you have to wait a few minutes for your food. If it is full, correspondingly longer. But the quality makes up for it sufficiently. My favorite are the fries. The price here is a little above average compared to other restaurants. But the enjoyment is simply A1. With peel and not overly salted. The drinks are refills. You get a huge selection. Almost like in the drinks market. (but stay away from Cola Cherry or raspberry... 😉) Otherwise no complaint. Bon appetit.
