Employees speak little to no German, Burger was totally cold and very overpriced

Oh well. Tastes 1:1 like a fast food burger. But it costs three times as much. Tables dirty, chairs uncomfortable. Milkshakes make you sick, fries are quite good.

It's delicious, but it's not affordable for the price.

The customer service from part of some of the employees leaves you with a bitter taste. The employee by the cashier was friendly and quite understanding that I had my (6kg) dog while I order and waited for my food. However, an employee who did not even start his shift, took the cortesy to come and tell me to leave because of the other (2) customers will be disturbed. The worker at the cashier told him it was fine and I only waited for the food, this wasn't satisfactory for him and went to notify the manager. I understand she was doing her job as a manager and following the sanitary rules but honestly, this all happened on a time frame of 5min. 5 minutes that this dear employer could not wait to come to me in the most unpolite way and bring me out. I totallu understand the concerns but not the manners this was managed. Nevertheless, I want to thank the guy at the cashier for his understanding and politeness.

Very disappointed in my food, i ordered a burger with salat and tomato, for some reason they decided to put onions on it. Why would you put onions on somebodys burger if they didnt asked for it? I hate onions, my day was ruined.

Tasty food and such a good overall experience. We went back the next day, the staff at the front is really friendly and smiley. We appreciated the drink station with countless choices we never got to try before, very unique! The toilets are messy though, the sinks run boiling water when you try to wash your hands and I found the music a bit too loud, which is why I deducted a star.

We come round every few months. I think the burger and fries are very good. You can sit with unlimited drinks and peanuts.

That was delicious. Freshly prepared burgers and fries, very good in taste, large selection of toppings. Free refill cups for drinks are also a highlight with lots of flavor options for Cola, Fanta and Co. Unfortunately, the prices here are not suitable for eating here every day.

The food was good, but unfortunately it was very dirty and you had to sit at sticky, wet tables, some of which were full of rubbish.

The store is so overpriced. A burger with fries and a drink costs just under €25. The citizens' buns are not toasted and overall the burger falls apart when eaten and is relatively mushy. The meat is tasty and the toppings are good. I don't like the atmosphere and the waiting time is relatively long.

The meat tasted like ammonia... inedible... the place was totally greasy and dirty, to pay 20 euros for a sandwich of me... from and 2 french fries (the only good things) really seems like a steal to me. Chain too overrated for what it offers above all NON-quality

Nice service behind the counter. Hot dog was very tasty. Ambience typical of Five Guys. You shouldn't expect plush upholstery here, so everything is fine. Gladly again.

The price of a small burger, small fries, and soda has increased significantly from approximately €16.50 to €20.50 in a year or so. Considering that this is for a basic fast food meal, it's quite disappointing given the lack of exceptional quality.

The food was delicious, the service was terrible. Waited 25 minutes for a single burger and a small fries.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. The food was also very tasty and we enjoyed it. With a combination you can refill your drink again at the drinks machine. However, it's only worth it if you drink a lot. It wasn't worth it for me and I wouldn't do it that way again. Everyone as it suits.

Never thought I would have genuine idea to review a fast food, but aside from all the lyrics, straight facts: standard (double cheeseburger) + milkshake fills me up to 6 hours (I’m a big time eater), sometimes it’s even hard to finish a borgar or a milkshake, which is really good, but a bit expensive imo. So if you wanna eat really full meal made of real products, but don’t have time or cash for a restaurant dish — it’s a nice alternative for a person who eats a lot

Nice place to go eat while being close to the city center. Had some good tasting burgers and fries. Mayo and ketchup is free refill which is good. Prices are a bit higher but all in all a good place!

Fries not as crispy as they are made in the Netherlands at Five Guys. Here they are far too oily and "limp" and I think they are not seasoned enough here if you choose the 'spicy' variant. Furthermore, a delicious hamburger 'double cheeseburger all the way' and a nice place to eat a hamburger.

The ambience is okay, but you are constantly being watched by passers-by and the tables are not clean. The service is similarly bad. The employees spoke unclearly and took a very long time. Nevertheless, I have to say, the food was very tasty, but €19 for a cheeseburger and a milkshake is an imposition that goes beyond the leisure budget. Overall 3/5 stars. LG

Their burgers are delicious but I'm not sure I'd eat them again. I prefer to eat at boutique establishments where the flavors are the same in all their branches, rather than at places that have branches like this and do not taste very good. To put it simply, they used ready-made hamburger buns, not homemade ones.

It's not the Five Guys you see and try in America. In fact, if you were in America, you wouldn't go to Five Guys. Firstly, the interior is very dirty, both the seating areas and the restrooms. With few exceptions, the employees are very unprofessional and seem to be working reluctantly. Of course, these are my personal experiences. Other customers may have had different experiences. I have even witnessed some employees treating certain customers very differently. As for the burgers, I am not sure if it is due to the meat or another ingredient, but the smell does not come off your hands even after washing them three or four times. If it weren't for my kids wanting to go, I would never have entered this fast food restaurant.

It's no different from McDonald's. The meat quality is so bad, it's like we ate canned minced meat :(

The service was great, the mash man was perfect, he spoke English. I had a hotdog, everything was great, the sauce, the bun, the vegetables and the garnish, except for the sausage, which was cut in half and didn't taste good to me and looked cheap. A friend's burger was a better choice, with honest meat. Have a hamburger instead :)

Really very bad burger 🍔 completely different from the other branches. First burger was ice cold and I received a new one. The new one wasn't ice cold, but not warm either.. Burger itself wasn't very tasty or particularly unfortunately. I can't recommend it. But the staff was nice and unfortunately didn't do much

So the staff is under constant fire and totally stressed. But everyone is friendly. The result, however, is a lump wrapped in aluminum foil that is not at all visually appealing. A mini slice of bacon measuring 1.5x3 cm on a bacon cheeseburger is not worth mentioning in itself. Then 13.50 euros for the thing. The taste is okay, but not anymore. Won't eat there anymore.

A place with delicious burgers and fries, but expensive

Service was nice. I find charging quite expensive. The burger wasn't bad. The fries don't work at all. Drinks as much as you want.

If you don't know five guys, they have a burger, cheese burger and hot dog sandwich that you can do unlimited toppings on. That's why the queue moves very fast as the cooks are doing only burger sandwiches then other cooks are putting the toppings. They also have a refillable soda machine where you can customize your own drink and fill as much as you want. They have great milkshakes. I have been to five guys in different cities all over the world. The Dussoldorf branch is very small. Moreover, it was very dirty, the inside and outside seating areas and the bathroom were not clean at all.

The burger tastes okay. Optics and size rather “works like that” Better than BK and Mäcces, although for the price I would rather go to one of the countless handmade burger shops that there are in this city.

Friendly staff. Burger very tasty, meat fried to perfection. Fries are also delicious with a nice, intense potato taste. Everything else is ok too. The only drawback: the prices. In my opinion 10 - 15% too high. Therefore only four stars.

Each time I go, I expect something which seems to br elusive. The interiors are devoid of atmosphere and are almost depressing to be in. The burgers, even the small single Pattie cheeseburger I get had too much dressings to be able to eat it without making a mess. And with all those ingredients it’s flavorless and the meat it never adequately seasoned. Burger buns should be served warm. My burger here was hot in the middle and the rest of it cold. Train your staff. Great marketing success but as a place to eat, it needs improvement. It’s not like it’s cheap. In 5 years it will be gone. Give me shake shack any day.

Very rude service, a man standing at the checkout was very rude and disrespectful (May 19th at around 8pm (the only one wearing black work clothes)). The shop was dirty. The food is overpriced and not particularly good. But what shocked me most was the service at the checkout. First time and never again.

Employees were extremely unfriendly and unaccommodating. In addition, the fries were very few for the price and cold. The burgers were a real disappointment. Couldn't go to the toilet because you need a code.

Employees were very busy with themselves, attention and concentration sometimes fell by the wayside 🙄 Cheeseburgers and fries were lukewarm, fries thrown carelessly into the bag. Milkshake was forgotten and I had to ask for it. The taste is very good as usual, but for the prices you can expect a little more service awareness. There are better Five Guys branches, but as written, just a snapshot.

For me personally and my taste the best burgers here in Düsseldorf. Also because you can decide individually what should be on there and what not. The Cajun Fries are also great here. You can even mix the soft drinks individually if you want. I think it would be even better to have a screen or a loudspeaker announcement where you can see your order number. is displayed/announced when it is ready for collection. Depending on where you sit and what the background noise is, you may not hear it so well when an employee says the order number. just called through.

The high prices (individual burgers from 10 euros upwards) are probably partially justified by the good ingredients and taste, but this branch is so dingy and dirty that after paying you immediately regret not having eaten somewhere else. The entire guest room is full of garbage and leftover food. You feel like a pigeon at the main train station picking fries between two garbage cans. And as you read here, that is probably the rule rather than the exception. Of course, you can run a fast food restaurant with no table service and questionable hygiene standards. But then charge restaurant prices? I don’t know… Weak management

Very disappointing Overpriced food in a dirty atmosphere, there were paper towels and chips outside everywhere. Mayo seems to be lacking in the operation as well as customer friendliness. Service is way too slow and milkshakes taste artificial. It's funny that other branches can keep the area around the store clean :/

It's been few years that I visit Five guys Düsseldorf but sadly staff service quality is getting lower and lower everytime when I visit. It was middle of day time so it wasn't even busy hours but most available Tables were mess, dirty, greasy. Fries were on the ground here and there. Staff was rude I have to say. One full meal cost around 18-20 euro compares to other fastfood chain price is 50-70% higher. Include competitors promotion deal, one burger menu price difference will be over 100% higher. Then fiveguys really should focus on making different service qualitys to attract customers.

I've always liked the food at Five Guys, in my opinion it's way above the standard of the "traditional" fast food chains. Despite all this, there is a two star deduction. The first thing that complains is the ambience of the chain, but especially the branch in Düsseldorf. It's always very loud, you can hardly have a conversation with the person you're talking to, even when there's little going on. If there's a lot going on, no chance. This also makes it difficult to hear which orders are being called out. Five Guys fundamentally refuses to use any form of display for display purposes. I personally can't understand that, as there are certainly ways to do it in vintage style. But what annoys me even more is the food culture there. People just leave their trash where they are. I've never seen this so blatant at other fast food chains. Maybe people find the noise and the way the order is just called out charming, I actually thought so the first time there. But the rubbish thing isn't possible at all, and you get the feeling that it's somehow being encouraged, as this is actually a problem in every Five Guys branch. Reinforced by the atmosphere, the price also weighs down even more. The food is good, but not '10-euro-for-a-cheeseburger-without-sides' good.

If you like it moist and oily, this is the place for you. Quality, well. Ambiance can be compared to eating at the main station. Drinks are refused syrup on low budget. Thanks for the smell that stays in the clothes.

Decent American vibe fast food, not very spacious

The food is absolutely recommended. Delicious! Especially the Reese's milkshake. However, I was there on a Thursday afternoon, it was relatively empty and yet the tables were full of trash and dirt. Very unfortunate. Otherwise everyone was super nice and it was very tasty!

The food, service and ambience are not bad at all. The overall rating of two stars is still more than justified, because the price-performance ratio is an absolute disgrace. Presumably some marketing slide said that customers would accept increased prices because it was something special, and that's how the pricing was done. A normal cheeseburger €12.50 and a portion of fries €7.50 (!) So what must be wrong with people that they aren't ashamed to pay €7.50 for normal fries. Potatoes, fried and a little salt. Cost of goods probably 40 cents. If any. Avoid the store consistently now. Nothing can be so good that you put up with such a rip-off. Anyone who still goes there has lost their self-respect or is not working for their money.

I'm so thankful there is a Five Guys in Dusseldorf. The quality of the burger is exactly what is needed here. Tastes the same here as it does back in the U.S. 🙌 The price is becoming more steep, but is justified by the meat to bun ratio and fresh patties made in house. It's made like a typical American burger place, which of course has it's charm, but it wasn't totally for me. Also doesn't matter if you take it for here or to go, you get your burger in a bag. Which I think is something to work on. BUT the burgers are SO GOOD! 😊

Price-performance ratio underground. 2 small citizens who can't compete with other fast food restaurants in terms of size. Then over 10€ for citizens that are tasteless and then served cold. The citizens are pressed into aluminum foil and are therefore hardly edible. Fries carelessly thrown into the bag, no seasoning and cold. The mayonnaise tastes rancid and is inedible even if it is free. Don't understand the hype surrounding this restaurant and were extremely disappointed with what we were offered. With almost 6 employees behind the counter, you can at least expect your food to be served warm. And at a price of €39.75 for 2 people With one citizen per person having one fries and two drinks that taste more like water than what you choose, I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there.

The burgers are super fulfilling. A lot of options to add. The staff were friendly and they explained to us how everything works. I highly recommend the fries! Drinks were the only downside. Too much water added to the soft drinks.

You don't have all the sticks on the fence anymore! I've never seen such insane pricing in a burger joint. 28 € for a cheeseburger, a large fries and a milkshake almost borders on legal fraud! 9€ for a large (over-salted fries) is just anti-social! I will warn everyone around me, which is by no means small, about your store!

I personally really didn't like the food, the Petty had no spices or flavor whatsoever. The ambience is great, but that's the only thing!!! AND the millshakes.

Good value for money, poor compared to MCD BK and KFC. You have the feeling that you are getting better quality, but the burgers are extremely sweet and contain too much sugar. This gives you the feeling that you are not something of value, but something artificial. I didn't like that very much.

The burgers and fries are simply fantastic! This is also the only reason to accept the unfortunately dirty and littered tables, for which you often have to wait 15 minutes. The staff does a very good job at the counter, there is a lack of people who are constantly cleaning the tables and perhaps the willingness of the guests to dispose of their garbage themselves as they go.

We went when it was not busy, so we enjoyed service and food.

You can do it...! Burgers were tasty and well tempered. Fries already good (almost too) salty. Beverage refill fits! Unfortunately the price is a bit higher (it's still just fast food...). Above all, prices have become very over-inflationary!
