Good food at reasonable prices. Seats are limited, which also speaks volumes about the restaurant. The ambiance is a bit plain, but we were there for dinner. We'd happily go back.

We were thrilled with our meal. We had grilled and baked fish, both top quality and very tasty, juicy, crispy, and accompanied by delicious side dishes. The waiters were very helpful and friendly.

The shrimp were perfect: beautifully marinated and excellently grilled. The calamari was a bit overseasoned, with a bit too many spices, which somewhat masked its natural flavor, but still very tasty. The service was friendly, the atmosphere relaxed and pleasant. This is proof that sometimes you can eat better in a small, unassuming restaurant than in an expensive one. Highly recommended!

The price is more than fair and absolutely reasonable for the quality offered. In short: Everything was just perfect. Mare Azzurro is a true gem for fish lovers, and we will definitely be back. My family has been coming to Azzurro for over a decade – and to be honest, it's always been a bit hit or miss for me. But my last visit was absolutely outstanding. The sea bream fillet was incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned – cooked to perfection. The crayfish and the fried calamari rings were also incredibly delicious. You can simply taste that the fish here is fresh – not just on the plate, but also in the display case, as Azzurro also sells fresh fish and seafood directly. Price-wise, it's definitely more expensive than many alternatives in Frankfurt (e.g., Alims or Istanbul), but if you're in Offenbach and craving good fish, it's definitely worth a visit.

Very tasty. Many thanks to the service staff. I wanted to eat the fillet, which the staff member prepared for me. The salad is delicious, but there's almost no dressing. The fish is incredibly tasty. If I lived in the area, I would eat here more often. I heard I was lucky, as the restaurant/snack bar is often fully booked, and you should reserve a table, especially in the evening. It was actually quite busy.

The food is really delicious and the selection is large. The prices for the food are also really fair. In general, I was really excited until my companion and I were rudely asked to leave the table after less than 40 minutes, even though we were seated by a service employee. Apparently the table had already been reserved for other guests shortly after we arrived, which no one mentioned and was passed on to us in an unfriendly tone. Pretty cheeky!!

I spontaneously felt like eating fish and found this restaurant with good reviews on Google Maps. You will find a gigantic menu with various fish dishes. The mixed platter with sea bream, squid and shrimp tasted great with the spicy marinade. Everything seems very fresh and clean here. Overall, a clear recommendation to eat here.

We were there for Valentine's Day. I wanted the mussel with tomato sauce as a starter, but it wasn't available. Ok, not bad then just the seafood salad. 100 gr. €7.50. What we got was cheap imitation fish (surimi) sepia and everything soaked in cheap sunflower oil. For the main course we ordered the pasta with pulpo and a grilled plate with salmon, sea bream and sea bass fillets and fried potatoes. Noodles weren't good and the sauce tasted like sunflower oil and paprika. What they sold as pulpo was calamari tentacles. The grill plate was fine and tasty. My conclusion: “Mare Azzurro” why they use an Italian term is questionable, they are not Italians. If you want to play Italian as a marketing strategy then at least use olive oil! Furthermore, it's not just a restaurant but a fish market and then selling sepia legs as pulpo as well as the cheap Frutti di mare fake salad? So I wouldn't buy fish there, either they're kidding or there's a lack of competence.

Update Nov24: Been back for almost a year, still great. The fish was very fresh and tasty (great grilled flavor). The mixed fish platter was super. The bread and side dishes were also great. The service was super friendly and all of our special requests were fulfilled. Price/performance is definitely right here. We left the restaurant at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday and all the tables were still full. Highly recommended and a clear 5 🌟

When I compare this fish restaurant with the Günay fish restaurant in Wiesbaden, there are some clear differences. The fish seasoning here has hardly any flavor, the potato portion was very small, and the anchovies were way too fatty. The salad was completely tasteless and seemed like it had been sitting for too long. The service was also disappointing as the staff didn't understand us properly. Overall, unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience.

If you want to eat the best fish, you have to come here. Fresh, juicy, well seasoned, without breading or frills. Better than on the Côte d'Azur, or Spain, Croatia, Bremerhaven, the Baltic Sea, the North Sea. All expectations are exceeded here. It was terrific.

We were really looking forward to delicious fish. Unfortunately we were disappointed. Price performance is unfortunately not right. The atmosphere is pretty shabby, I really feel sorry for the fish in the aquarium, if you don't have the time or inclination to take care of them then you shouldn't have an aquarium and above all you should socialize the right fish with each other. The table for two right by the toilet is also awesome 🤔🤢 The toilets 🚽 disgusting Our waitresses were very friendly, but unfortunately far too disorganized, so we probably had to wait an hour for our food. We found a piece of metal about 2 cm long in a plate of squid. Inside a squid. It could have been very dangerous if we hadn't seen it and stuck it in our mouths or swallowed it. We show it to the waiter without making any drama. But they didn't even apologize. A shame. And they charged us for the entire dish.

Fish shop and small restaurant in one. We tried three different main courses and different starters for lunch. Everything was super fresh and delicious. Even the fried calamari, which is frozen in most restaurants, was fresh with a delicious breading. Price-performance ratio is also good. The restaurant fills up very quickly at lunchtime. Guys working there were very patient with us as our German linguistic skills are far from good. we ordered our food and were blown away by how tasty it was. Es ist kein Nobel Haus und auch sollte öfter sauber gemacht werden. Auf Tisch - und Bodenhygiene mehr achten. Jedoch war das Essen sehr sehr lecker. Preis Leistung einfach nur top. Lange nicht mehr so guten Fisch gegessen, wir kommen immer wieder gerne :-)

Очень-очень много людей, Официант спал на ходу. Ели пришли почистить стол. Взяли заказ. Ждали около 40 мин , принесли салат . Ждём дальше. Муж подошёл к ним и спросил сколько ещё ждать наш заказ. Пока нам принесли заказ, просто целый час 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. Уже ничего не хотелось если честно. После такого обращения, не знаю если пойду ещё в это место. Ещё рыба было острая и много , слишком много специй. 🙊🙊🙊

여기 정말 자주 가는데 저때문에 지인들이 대부분 가봤을 정도예요ㅋㅋ 생선구이도 진짜 맛있는데 홍합탕같은 음식 꼭 드셔 보세요~ 강추!!! 진하고 매콤하니 같이 주는 빵 찍어먹기 딱인데 파스타면 삶아서 그 소스에 섞어 먹고 싶더라구요ㅋㅋ 여긴 정말 연어, 새우, 오징어 등등.. 딱 한국에서 먹던 숯불구이 맛이라 한국인들 가시면 만족하실 거예요! 심지어 가격도 매력적입니다~
