My personal favorite shop in Warnemünde. Always delicious fish.

We've wanted to eat here for a few years, but never pre-ordered and therefore couldn't get a seat. As with most restaurants here, pre-ordering is a must. Now we have finally done it. The ambience is really beautiful and exactly how you would imagine a Fischerklause would be. Beautiful decoration, great atmosphere. Good drink selection. Unfortunately, the food didn't burn us all. The food was bland and the pike perch was probably fried to death in the pan a second time. Despite the great atmosphere, it is not a good price/performance ratio.

Unfortunately, the service was very, very hectic... yes, it was very full, but that caused a lot of unrest and there was no comfort. Unfortunately the food wasn't that great, the cucumber salad was too salty, the service knew it and it was sent anyway, the fish was unfortunately on the pan for too long and therefore too dry. Unfortunately very very disappointing.

The food was tasty, but not enough for the price asked, even compared to other restaurants in the area. The service person wasn't particularly friendly. The pub is just quaint, but because of the poor price/performance ratio, no more than 3 stars can be given.

There were three of us and we hadn't reserved a table. Were quickly greeted at the entrance and shown to the table. Service and food was really very good!

The Fischerklause is a really good, authentic fish restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. The staff there are very accommodating and friendly and the food was exceptionally good. We felt very comfortable there.

Beautiful ambience. This is exactly how you imagine a harbor restaurant. The furnishings are so lovingly designed and all the dark wood, the dark red brick wall, the lanterns and fishing ropes give you a cozy, warm atmosphere. The food was on a 5 star level but not exceptional. Unusual ideas round the whole thing off. The prices were reasonable for the quantity and the hot apple juice with honey & cinnamon and the Fischergeist herbal liqueur, served piping hot, were perfect with the very well prepared and lovingly presented fish. Great service and the fish was great...gladly again

The service was perhaps typically northern German, with a lot of economy of words. Like, hello, what can it be? Unfortunately my fried potatoes were too raw. (Straight from the freezer quickly into the deep fryer). At the next table, some seniors wanted to order a children's plate. Unfortunately, this was ruled out by the waiter because children's plates for children and seniors have to eat something else.

We have been with you many times. Fish and Hamburger Schnitzel are highly recommended. Service very nice. We'd love to come back. It's a shame that currently... the accordion player is there, there was always a nice atmosphere.

We enjoyed having dinner in the Fischerklause. The taste of the food is okay. (this refers to 2023). This year we had to cancel for personal reasons, which was a complete disaster. Nobody answers the phone, nobody answers emails and the opening times are probably spontaneous. But woe betide you if a guest doesn't show up at the reserved time. It should only be mentioned in passing that the beer is the equivalent of more expensive than at the Oktoberfest in Munich.

Lebt von der Lage, nicht vom Angebot. Ja wir haben uns wohlgefühlt, hatten nicht vorbestellt und noch einen Tisch erhalten. Und das am verlängerten Wochenende, wo alle Hotels ausgebucht waren. Wir aßen aber auch kurz nach 18.00 Uhr. Wenn schon in der Karte steht, dass die Preise hoch sind, weil die Kosten gestiegen sind, weiß man, im Vergleich Kosten/Nutzen hier werden im Vorfeld Zeichen gesetzt. Essen okay, doch für Zander mit Wirsing und ein paar Bratkartoffeln 27,60€, das erschließt sich nicht. Und warum eine Apfelschorle mit 0,4 Liter gleich mal 5,80€ kostet, ist weiterhin ein Rätsel. Die Flasche im Supermarkt oder Großmarkt ist definitiv nicht so teuer geworden. Alle Infos zu den Kosten sind damit absolut hinfällig. Aber die Gäste zahlen und so lässt sich weiterhin alles in die Höhe schrauben. Fazit, okay, jedoch nicht überragend. Lebt von der Lage, nicht vom Angebot.

Okay, but not great! Yes, we felt comfortable, didn't pre-order and still got a table. And that was on the long weekend when all the hotels were fully booked. But we also ate shortly after 6 p.m. If the menu says that the prices are high because the costs have increased, you know that in the cost/benefit comparison, signals are set in advance. Food okay, but for zander with savoy cabbage and a few fried potatoes €27.60, that doesn't make sense. And why a 0.4 liter apple spritzer costs €5.80 is still a mystery. The bottle in the supermarket or wholesale market has definitely not become that expensive. But the guests pay and so everything can continue to be increased. Conclusion, okay, but not outstanding. Lives from the location.

Very nice and attentive staff. Dog friendly. However, the names “fish soup” and “bouillabaisse” on the menu are misleading. It is mainly a “vegetable broth ala Knorr”

Das Restaurant Fischerklause mutet urig an und ist es auch. Mit vielen maritimen Details und dunklem Holz dekoriert, kommt man sich vor wie in einer alten Fischerkneipe. In der Karte wird ein bisschen über die Geschichte des Hauses an der Mole erzählt, was sehr interessant ist. Es gibt eine gute Auswahl an Fleisch und Fisch aber auch Suppen oder Salate. Preislich nun ja, deutlich angezogen. Aber das haben wir an der Ostsee überall gehabt, besonders bei den Fischbrötchen die im Vergleich zum Vorjahr um gute 1- 1.50€ teurer geworden sind. Wir bestellten 2 mal den Matjes für je 19,90€ ( nicht günstig! ). Wurden aber nicht enttäuscht, der Teller mit je 3 grossen, rosa Filets und Bratkartoffeln war sehr appetitlich angerichtet. Die Bratkartoffeln waren mMn NICHT aus dem Glas sondern selbst geschnitten und mit Speck und Zwiebeln richtig würzig und gut. Auch die Remoulade war wahrscheinlich selbstgemacht, auch etwas was man nicht mehr überall hier oben findet. Zu anderen Gerichten können wir nichts sagen, ausser dass sie auf den Tellern anderer Gäste gut aussahen. Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden und wurden auch freundlich bedient. Wir würden wiederkommen.

A cozy Fischerklausel, where you are warmly welcomed and can have a delicious meal. A visit is worth it. Reserve seats in advance.

The restaurant always enchants us with its rustic, rustic charm. The staff is very courteous and friendly and the dishes are prepared with great attention to detail and taste great every time. Always worth recommending!

The first plate of fried herring with side dishes, plate of 2 schnitzel with side dishes, plate of 3 zander with side dishes. All the dishes were great and, above all, it is very cozy and clean. I can recommend it to everyone.

Every time I come I find myself at a house that looks like it has as much maritime history as it probably has. And every time a very tasty meal awaits me, the likes of which I rarely encounter in Rostock.

I get it, it is a touristic zone and the food was good, but it was really really OVERPRICED for the amount of food you are getting. Especially the mix of fish and “seafood” plate which was almost 35€ and we thought it would be for 2/3 people at least but it was only for one. Only had 3 half fillets of fish the size of 4 fingers, the smallest “scampi” which wasn’t even eatable and 1 shrimp spieße. Maybe we should have not ordered the “big” plate!! Also it seems like the staff doesn’t want to work, we called at 12pm when they opened the phone and wanted to reserve beforehand, they told us they had a big group of people and were full, but then we tried going in person and the place only had 3 tables and we could sit wherever.

Essen viel zu teuer für das, was man auf dem Teller hat. Scholle auf dem Foto 29 Euro. Suppe wird im "Marmeladenglas" serviert, leider sehr dünn für fast 10 Euro. Hier bezahlt man die Lage des Restaurants und nicht die Qualität.

We had a spontaneous meal here yesterday and were able to get one thanks to the perfect organization. Later everything would have been full. Quite rightly so, as we have discovered. The service was very friendly and just as I expect on the coast. Warm, outspoken and with a lot of humor. Our daughter in particular received loving attention. Our drinks were great. I can especially recommend the iced tea. He's so good. My Aperol was exactly as it should be. Neither finished stuff nor too little in it. We had small sausages and porridge and ketchup for the child. (Where can you find something so delicious on the children's menu?) My husband had the Hamburger Schnitzel with fried potatoes and a delicious salad. The schnitzel breading ratio was perfect. The egg is shiny yellow and neither too crispy nor too wobbly. The fried potatoes... fantastically delicious. A nice marjoram note and not bathed in fat and no dry wannabe chips either. The salad is fresh and crunchy. Delicious dressing. I had the smoked salmon with Rösti thalers and sweet mustard. The combination is a poem. The thalers are crispy and nicely potato-like on the inside. The salmon with a great smoky note and the sweet mustard. Fantastically delicious. We were pretty happy, all three of us. I can highly recommend it. We'll definitely take a look again.

A very traditional fish restaurant, the food is all very rich and tasty.

Food was good, fish a bit dry but hey fish so a fish platter. Well, it fits, but the fried potatoes were really very good. Service was very friendly and attentive. Ambience, it's a Fischerklause, you don't need to say more, in the truest sense of the word.

Rustic original with delicious dishes, relaxed sayings and cozy corners. On my first visit I didn't get any further than the "Scharfgeschützen Heidesuppe", which actually tastes exactly the same as it used to in the Jägerhütte (Rostockers know that). I had the soup as a starter and because I was so enthusiastic, I had it again as a main course. 😅 This time I had (after the soup of course) a "Green Pea and Asparagus Risotto with Fried Shrimp" - fantastic. I'll definitely be back... that's right: at least for the soup!

Very tasty prepared food, very nice service. We enjoyed the halibut “Strindberg” and the labskaus, delicious and lovingly prepared…. Nice view of the harbor.

We ate very well. It was a little more expensive, but it was very worth it. We had cutter plaice and the fish platter and were both very satisfied.

We got a piece of frozen meat with lettuce that was already brown in many places. The fried potatoes were drowned in oil and not cooked through. For the price we definitely imagined something different. The service was friendly and the price was a bit more affordable for us. We still left the restaurant disappointed, hungry and with less money in our wallets.

There were three of us in April 2024. A view of the canal is rather sparse and only 2 tables are available. The waitress welcomed us and escorted us to the table not served to guests. During the waiting time the table was still not served. The food itself was ok, a bit expensive in my opinion. You pay 30+ EUR for a meal in Switzerland, but it could be a little cheaper here, especially in non-peak season. The sparkling wine was simply great. The highlight of the evening was that the waitress informed us that our table was actually reserved and that we should leave in 40 minutes. When I remarked that we couldn't know, I consoled myself with the fact that it wasn't my fault. I was somehow confused. If you take into account that there were 3 staff members for a good 10 tables, 5 of which were guests, and as a result, such chaotic management, there is room for improvement. Conclusion: there are lots of restaurants in Warnemünde. However, this is only recommended to a limited extent.

This restaurant has existed since 1968 (formerly run by HO) to this day. I've been there several times and the quality of the food hasn't diminished. The price-performance ratio is as good as before and the fishing ambience rounds off the feeling of well-being. Look at my pictures and judge for yourself. I'll be back. The only drawback are the many steps up to the entrance

Probably a bit old, but kindly meant 4🌟. We were there on Wednesday lunchtime, super nice service, who even asked if we knew what "Strindberg" was, YES, but why are you doing that? The fish is stripped of all flavor. Unfortunately my plaice was too cooked, but the taste was ok. And our request to change the side dish to mashed potatoes was also granted without any problems. I love fish and you can definitely do better and not just focus on tourists. Nice ambience and service, food with a bit of room for improvement. Wish you much success for the future

One of Warnemünde's oldest restaurants, small, with old furniture. Fast, attentive service, the food was very tasty, especially the soups (venison soup, solyanka). The toilets were very clean, everything was well maintained. There is only one drawback: Unfortunately, the old ambience means there is no barrier-free access.

Unfortunately, the price has declined over the years; for the price we ate much better the next day in another restaurant! The waitress is friendly!

Wir waren mit mehreren Personen da, ich habe auch den Fehler gemacht, das Schnitzel zu bestellen. Hart, Handteller groß und trocken, Convenience aus der Friteuse von der Qualität her und das mit einer Minikartoffelportion aus matschigen und mit verbrannten Stücken durchsetzten Bratkartoffeln, dafür 21,90 zu verlagen ist schon unverschämt. Die Portionen waren insgesamt sehr klein, die Qualität stimmte in keinster Weise für die aufgerufenen Preise, in so ein Restaurant geht man kein zweites Mal, eine der schlechtesten Küchenleistungen, die ich in den letzten Jahren erlebt habe.

This was by far the worst meal we've had in a long time. We were there with a larger group, the portions were very small, some of the food was burnt black, I had a palm-sized schnitzel with a handful of fried potatoes, it must have been convenience products and that's how it tasted, the schnitzel was hard and... dry, the quantity corresponded to a children's plate and that for 21.90 and that was also the cheapest dish, the price-performance ratio was in no way good, the food had something of a canteen or meal on wheels. Overall, by far the most expensive canteen food I've paid for so far. The criticism wasn't really accepted either, everything seemed pretty listless and unmotivated, the kitchen performance was poor. The pictures in the reviews do not in any way match what we had on our plates today. If the quality was right, the prices would be ok, but not like this.

Fisherklause, in the harbor of Warnemünde, is a restaurant with a GDR past. You can still find some of that today. Delicious fish dishes, including large plaice, are presented without too many frills. It is always a pleasure to eat a meal here. Recommended!

The only thing that is freshly prepared here is the spicy soup, the fried potatoes are slippery, the fish is glassy...not recommended

Very nice service and great ambience. However, at a price of almost €30 per dish, I would have wished that the fish FILET was actually bone-free... The consistency of the mashed potatoes was too mushy for me personally - but that's certainly a matter of taste My companion enjoyed it very much So we definitely recommend it!

The restaurant on the river is in a great location. Luckily we were able to sit by the window. The staff was super friendly. The food was good, the fish soup, the Labskaus and the fried herring. Some broth would have been good with the fried herring and the cook can still work on the fried potatoes. We would be happy to recommend the restaurant.

The Fischerklause salad with Italian dressing was very tasty, as were the toasted roll halves with herb butter - perfect! The Earl Gray tea had a wonderful aroma, plus the cozy maritime atmosphere - I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

9 guests wanted to have something to eat on Friday at 8:15 p.m., unfortunately it is not possible in the Fischerklause. Apparently they only cook until 8 p.m. here. In order to get something to eat again from 8:15 p.m., we were encouraged to vote for the protest party. What a weird argument for being able to eat at a restaurant on Friday. Maybe the service worker should read through the election manifesto of this right-wing party, then the service worker would perhaps understand that the minimum wage would be history and that a blonde German chef would have to cook for EUR 8.50. Ok...probably only until 4 p.m. :-)

Das Lokal liegt in erster Reihe am Strom und ist gut eingerichtet. Das Essen ist jetzt nicht der Oberknaller, aber es ist lecker und handfest gekocht.

Hallo, wir wohnen in Berlin und haben in 14 Tagen in Warnemünde eine Seebestattung. Dafür suchten wir ein Restaurant am alten Strom, um im Anschluß mit Familie und Freunden dort einzukehren. Bei der Auswahl wollten wir uns auf TripAdvisor verlassen. Hier ist das Essen in der " Fischerklause" mit 4 von 5 Sternen bewertet. Wie es der Zufall aber wollte, waren wir gestern bereits in Warnemünde und beschlossen das Essen zu probieren. Um es kurz zu machen. Mein Hamburger Schnitzel war ein Pressschnitzel. Wer bewertet so etwas mit 4 Sternen? Bei allem Sparzwang, ein Fertigschnitzel für 19.80€ muß nicht sein. Jeder weiß, dass es keinen Sinn macht ein Schnitzel zu zerkuttern, außer man möchte der Masse irgendwelche minderwertigen Beigaben beimengen. Da ahnt man natürlich sofort, dass die Zutaten der anderen Gerichte ähnlich minderwertig sind. Für mich bedeutet so etwas, dass der Gast hier überhaupt nicht gewertschätzt wird und nur dazu dient den Inhaber noch reicher zu machen. Natürlich funktioniert das, weil die Kundschaft zu über 90% aus Laufkundschaft besteht. Aber dann braucht der Wirt nichts von Tradition und zweitältester Fischgaststätte in Warnemünde zu erzählen. So wie uns am Vortag am Telefon. Zum Glück haben wir da nicht gebucht. Auf die Bewertung von TripAdvisor werden wir uns so schnell nicht mehr verlassen.
