Gemütliche Location direkt am See. Den Fisch gibt’s vom Holzofengrill, aber es werden auch Fleischspeisen und Salate angeboten. Man kann drinnen und draußen sitzen. Alles in allem typisch Fischerheim - einfach, aber lecker.

In den Sommermonaten sind die Gerichte vom Grill zu empfehlen, die finde ich sehr gut. Die Sonnenuntergänge über dem See sind von der Terrasse aus sehr schön zu beobachten. Der Innenraum ist sehr einfach gestaltet. Manchmal ist Mückenschutz ratsam.

schrecklichstes Essen seit Jahren. Wir gehen üblicherweise 1-2 pro Jahr zum Essen dahin. Seit über 10J sehr zufrieden. Tolle Lage, fairer Preis, gutbürgerlich. Aber diesmal (Juni 2026) war es eine Katastrophe. Hat der Pächter oder Koch gewechselt? Das "Grill"-Gemüse triefte vor Öl aus der Pfanne. Das Panat des Schnitzels war am Rand schwarz und zwischen Panat und Schnitzel kam auch Öl raus. Und die Tintenfischringe hatten eine dicke Panatpanzerschicht so dass man nur noch Panat und keinen Tintenfisch mehr schmeckte. Wir werden nicht mehr wiederkommen.

Ganz schön dort. Wie man aber heutzutage immer noch keine Kartenzahlung anbieten kann, erschließt sich mir nicht. Daher werden meine Besuche eher selten sein. Schade.

Habe schon sehr lange kein so schlechtes Schnitzel gegessen. Schnitzel mit Brot In der Karte steht nur das, es kam aber dann mit Soße. Hatten außerdem gesagt, mein Freund wollte Soße aber extra und nicht auf dem Teller. Schnitzel viel zu dünn und in Fett getränkt, schmeckte wie in einer Imbissbude. 11,80 Euro das Schnitzel mit Brot, Portion auch nicht so groß Salat , Beilagensalat 7,50 Euro. Der Kellner versteht so gut wie nix. Die Wein Schorle hatte keine Kohlensäure. Sehr schade.... anscheinend Türken... dann macht doch bitte wenigstens türkisches essen. Werde nicht mehr hin gehen.

Ernüchternd /Enttäuschend Wir waren zu dritt Zanderfilet mit Kartoffelsalat (Grossmarkt-Eimer???) Der Fisch war in Ordnung, kross, vermutlich aus der Friteuse. Der Kartoffelsalat Fertigware. Bei überschaubarer Speisekarte sicher frisch machbar. Wurstsalat mit Pommes, Pommes in Ordnung. Salatsoße? Vielleicht neu abschmecken oder Essig/Öl am Tisch anbieten. Portionsgrößen waren in Ordnung. Bedienung... ohje. Ich bewerte ungern negativ, leider gibt es nichts positives zu bewerten. Beginnend mit Verständigungsproblemen, Freundlichkeit ( ein Lächeln kann helfen) . Saßen 3 Stunden. Leider kein interesse mehr an Kundenservice. Trotz winken. Dann eben keine Bestellung mehr. Trinkgeld? Sorry. War auch lange in der Gastro tätig aber das war unzureichend.... Schade, schöne Location mit Biergarten, ... mich kriegt da keiner mehr hin. Leider muss ich mich den älteren Rezessionen anschließen.

Leider sehr enttäuschend. Preisleistungsverhältins ist sehr schlecht habe 21 Euro für frittierte Calmares aus dem Tiefkühlregal mit Fertigmayo gezahlt. Obwohl beim Grillgemüse die Kartoffeln leer waren mussten wir dennoch den vollen Preis bezahlen(14,50 für eine Handvoll Auberginen und etwas Tomate!). Die Bedienung war dafür sehr freundlich insgesamt aber nicht zu empfehlen

Geheimtipp kam von ChatGPT. Kurzum: Essen gut, Getränke gut, Location Top direkt am See. Tolle Atmosphäre. Wir werden definitiv immer wieder kommen und eine tolle leckere Zeit verbringen. Fische werden frisch auf dem Holzkohle Grill gegrillt und mit Liebe zubereitet. Und zum Thema Barzahlung: seit froh das es das noch gibt…

wenn man im Sommer draußen sitzen kann ist es schön - mitten in der Natur am See = Naherholung. Fisch wird vom Grill angeboten .... Auch mit Kindern gut besuchbar

Schade. Wir hatten vorher gefragt, ob der Fisch gegrillt ist. Die Antwort war ja, also bestellten wir zwei. Leider kam er direkt aus der Fritteuse. Sogar die Kartoffeln waren frittiert, obwohl uns gesagt wurde, sie würden auf dem Holzkohlegrill zubereitet. Nachdem das Essen serviert worden war, erklärte uns der Koch, dass der Holzkohlegrill erst gegen 15:00-16:00 Uhr in Betrieb genommen wird. Drinnen gibt es eine Grillplatte. Das konnte ich auch am Gemüse erkennen. :( Das Essen war außerdem viel zu trocken, ohne Soße oder Mayonnaise. Sehr enttäuschend. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt überhaupt nicht. Mein Rat an den Restaurantbesitzer: Schreiben Sie auf die Speisekarte, ab wann das Essen auf dem Holzkohlegrill zubereitet wird. Das würde zumindest keine falschen Erwartungen wecken.

Essen und Trinken kann ich leider nicht bewerten, da nach 1/2 Stunde erstmal die Speisekarte nach Aufforderung gebracht wurde und sich danach kein Kellner mehr an unserem Tisch blicken ließ. Deshalb sind wir nach 45 Minuten ohne was wieder gegangen.

Netter Ort am See mit Biergarten. Das Essen Schnitzel mit Brot und ein wenig Salat als Deko war lecker. Leider haben wir bestimmt fast 1 Std. auf das Essen warten müssen, obwohl es nicht so sehr voll war. Dies war nicht so schön. Wir mussten reklamieren, dann hat es noch ca. 10 Minuten gedauert. Schade!

Wir waren auf einen Abstecher kurz dort, nur Kaffee und Tee war kein Problem. Bei Gelegenheit wird hier mal gegessen. Übersichtliche Karte, nichts außergewöhnliches, Preise normal. Kleiner Innenbereich, großer schöner Außenbereich. Reichlich Parkplätze vor dem Haus.

Hier gibt es sehr leckerer Fisch.

After a great day at the lake, disappointment set in. The location is fantastic, that's really the only positive thing to say. The service was inattentive and unenthusiastic. The food was bland and overpriced. It's a shame, there was so much more potential here.

I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. Super delicious and fresh dishes, the likes of which are rarely found in the Karlsruhe area. The grilled sea bream is freshly prepared in front of the guests, and you can hear the schnitzels being pounded in the kitchen. The quality and portions are truly fantastic for the price, as is the location. I absolutely cannot understand the negative reviews below and can say with a clear conscience that after many visits, everything has always been excellent, and I'm always happy to come back.

I wanted to end my birthday in a relaxed atmosphere. The fact that it was located by the water was really lovely. The service was so-so, just okay, but it seemed a bit disorganized. Unfortunately, the food was completely unsatisfactory for the three of us. I had köfte with grilled vegetables and tzatziki. None of it was seasoned, and even adding salt and pepper didn't improve it. I didn't finish my meal. The other two fish dishes were equally disappointing. A real shame. No one even asked why we hadn't finished our food or if we had enjoyed it. It just didn't seem like they valued their customers much.

Visiting the Fischerheim Grötzingen with a larger group was a disappointing experience. I had high expectations for the fish dishes, but was disappointed. My zander fillet was fried and tasted more like a ready meal than fresh fish. The potato salad also seemed like it came out of a package, which hurt the overall impression. The service part was also questionable - a salad was ordered twice and arrived late, while other orders were completely forgotten. Another drawback was the lack of desserts, which made our evening incomplete. Overall, the price/performance ratio was not appropriate. A week later I visited another restaurant where I had a much better experience for just five euros more. Maybe the other dishes at Fischerheim are better, but my experience was disappointing enough to not come back.

Once again on a bike tour, this time we chose the Fischerheim Grötzingen as our destination. Shortly before 12 noon we got a nice shady spot on the covered terrace. After a short wait we could place our order. The drinks were served quickly and the charcoal grill was turned on immediately (we ordered grilled fish with grilled vegetables). The food was then served fresh from the grill and was very tasty. Together with the beautiful view of the lake, it was a successful lunch break before we started our way back. Update from March 20, 2025: Today we visited the Grötzingen fishing home again. We chose sausage salad with fries and kofta. Both were delicious and the service was very friendly. We will definitely come here again this year.

Dirty tables, uninterested service, and mediocre food. The carved vegetable decorations on the plates weren't great. Poor value for money.

The fishing home is located directly on the Grötzinger quarry lake and is very popular from spring to autumn due to its large outdoor area. The food is good and the service is very nice and friendly. Whether for a meal or just a cup of coffee - just sit there and enjoy the view of the lake. Of course very popular at the weekend...

Very good Greek food and lots of play equipment for children We have already been to the Fischerheim twice and enjoyed the delicious typical Greek cuisine there. Meat eaters and vegetarians alike will find numerous options on the menu. The great thing is that the children can bridge the waiting time, which is not long at all, on the lawn with numerous play equipment and vehicles. The service is on point and very friendly. We can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience and would be happy to come back.

Food was quite ok, I thought it was bad, I had sausage salad with fries and my wife wanted a sea bream with vegetables. Unfortunately the sea bream only came after I had already eaten my wife was pretty pissed off because she had to eat alone but the food was good. Ambiance with a great view the lake

Fish from the charcoal grill was very tasty, like in the south. However, my pike perch was breaded, which unfortunately wasn't apparent on the menu. The ambience is very nice when you can sit outside with a direct view of the lake. The Meckatzer beer 🍺 was well tempered and the service was very nice. We'd love to come back.

Very nice, quiet location right on the lake. It was well attended, but everything still went smoothly. Our food was absolutely OK and very plentiful. Grilled food comes from a charcoal grill, which is rare in the gastronomy. Restaurant is a bit older, but everything is fine.

Everything great! As a vegan you can also find options. Dogs allowed.

Ordered: tatziki with bread, a pilsner (0.3) and calamares. Calamares tasted like rubber (17.50 euros) Tatziki not properly seasoned (4.50 euros). Pilsner was ok (3.50). Mac Donalds tastes better and cheaper Other guests ordered "salmon "Köfke". That was the case. Expensive, chisel-like Staff not friendly.

All in one a nice place to eat. Fish was delicious (sea bream). The fries were very good 👍. Prices slightly increased but still reasonable. Toilets weren't entirely clean, but also very outdated. You should probably do something about the mosquito plague. It was very annoying that some of the guests got 2-3 mosquito bites. Tip: there are nice scents that drive away mosquitoes & toilets are clean and modernized. Nevertheless, thanks to the team and Mesut Baba.

The fishing home is idyllically located on the Grötzinger quarry lake with a beautiful view. Actually the best conditions for a lovely evening. Actually…. Even the first impression of the unkempt environment, e.g. B. broken glass in the parking lot, repeated in the restaurant including the terrace. Everything is kind of dingy, empty ashtrays, etc. don't look particularly inviting. The breaded fish served was mediocre and tasted well with the potato salad, which certainly wasn't homemade. However, it was not declared as self-made. Conclusion: The prices quoted are too ambitious for what is on offer. When you visit, you should plan for a mosquito invasion to take place just in time for sunset.

Very friendly staff with a family atmosphere - even special requests are fulfilled. Great location right on the lake with an impressive starry sky at night. The decor is deliberately kept simple, the food is reminiscent of a holiday in Turkey - both fit seamlessly into the overall concept of the restaurant.

Heute mal eine Nummer rustikaler. Im Fischerheim Grötzingen bei Baba Mesut. Clubhaus-/Fischerheimambiente, aber mit schöner Außenterrasse und Seeblick. Die Speisekarte ist recht übersichtlich. Schnitzel, Rumpsteak, Köfte, Fisch. Das Fleisch kann ich nicht beurteilen, weil nicht bestellt, aber die Fische Forelle, Dorade und Wolfsbarsch werden frisch auf dem Außengrill zubereitet. Dazu ein Salätchen, Grillgemüse und Katoffeln. Rustikal eben. Die Fische waren gut gewürzt und haben geschmeckt. Wer einfach mal einen guten gegrillten Fisch essen will und auf gehobenes Ambiente verzichten kann, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Preis/Leistung ok. Personal nett. Barrierefrei. Ein Abend am See zum Entspannen.

Wir hatten uns dieses Restaurant am See ausgesucht um einen Geburtstag zu feiern..zuerst waren wir sehr angenehm überrascht, sehr schöne Lage direkt am See, überdachte Sitzplätze und auch Plätze mit sonnen Schirm, hübsch gemacht, gibt einen Grill draussen. Damit endet leider das positive, Auswahl der Getränke und Essen sehr mässig..es gab ausser Campari Soda keinerlei Aperitif, nicht mal Sekt..eigentlich haben wir überlegt wieder zu gehen, blieben dann doch , Auswahl an Fisch, nur ganze Fische, vom Grill, Dorade war aus, haben dann Wolfsbarsch bestellt für immerhin fast 24 Euro...kam ein kleines Fischchen mit schon kalter Kartoffel, sollte grillkartoffel sein, etwas salatgarnitur , ungewürzt, und 2 Stückchen grillgemüse...nichts war besonders gewürzt...Dessert gibt es keinen, nicht mal eine Kugel Eis...ein Pärchen auf Lounge Sessel wurde gar nicht bedient, sind sauer gegangen, war nix los wohlgemerkt.eine leere Kaffeetasse Stand die ganze Zeit auf dem Tisch, hat niemand interessiert...schade um unseren Geburtstags Gast, schade um diesen schönen Ort, der eigentlich einlädt zum feiern und gemütlich sitzen...

Wir waren nach dem Baden dort. Das Essen war ok auch wenn keine Sensation. Man musste ab und zu nach der Bedienung fragen, wenn man was wollte und abgeräumt wurde selten. Preislich ist es ok und schön direkt am See. Abends attackieren jedoch die Steckmücken. Also was dagegen einpacken.
