Smoked fish stand...very fresh. And that's the most important thing about smoked fish. With a cold glass of beer, it's a delicacy. There's also Matias and Bismarck herring...for those who love smoked fish - this is the place to go. Afterwards, on a full stomach, you can go see the stunning Soviet Victory Monument.

I was at the Treptower Hafenreucherei in Treptower Park for the first time in a while. If you're craving freshly smoked fish, you should definitely stop by. Whether it's on its own or in a roll, the fish is fresh, and the rolls are really well-filled. The prices aren't exactly budget-friendly, but you get quality and a completely reasonable price. Rolls range from €4-9, depending on the fish. On special days, you can get a fish roll for as little as €2.50 and an eel roll for €5 (normally €9). Last month in Hamburg, I paid €15 for an eel roll, which wasn't nearly as good.

Absolutely unfriendly staff. First, I was cheated out of one euro, even though the sign said five euros. They took it for six, and even despite a warning, they didn't give it back. Then, with the words "one euro," I was apparently asked for one euro. These "Eastern graces" have clearly never heard the words "please" and "thank you." Simply awful. Cheap isn't always good.

We don't tend to get this type of place in the UK so to stumble upon such a great little stall was a definite bonus of our trip to Berlin. They smoke their own fish which was had in a bread roll with some salad and honey mustard mayo as a dressing, this and a lovely cold beer all for 7 Euros was bargain of the holiday. The setting is lovely too, down by the river at the edge of Treptower park, on a warm sunny day. Give this place a go people

Grumpy staff and questionable hygiene conditions. Everything is touched one after the other with bare hands (food, money, doorknobs... the fish patty was grasped with the entire hand and cut in half). The fish patty tasted of absolutely nothing, and the supposed remoulade seemed more like watered-down herb curd. Well then, enjoy your meal.

Very tasty fish... from matjes rolls to freshly smoked fish. Never been disappointed so far! Prices are completely okay. Clear recommendation.

The fish sandwich was delicious. However, the two ladies took a break to smoke at the same time while the line got longer and longer. Both very unfriendly!

Typical Berlin unfriendliness. The fish is touched without gloves and then the money is collected straight away, absolutely disgusting. The rolls are dry because neither butter nor tartar sauce is used. In addition, my matjes fillet was simply placed in a hot roll, which was a disaster in terms of taste.

For me the best fish sandwiches in all of Berlin. Plus a beautiful view of the water and super friendly service. I would like to give this more than 5 stars!

Great spot with fish smoked right on the spot! You can take it to go or enjoy it in the nearby park. The fish selection depends on the day — either ask what’s available or just point to what you see hanging in the smoker. We had mackerel sandwiches and they were amazing — fresh, juicy, full of flavour. Just a heads-up: cash only.

Fantastic experience! The location is beautiful, offering a peaceful atmosphere by the water. The smoked fish is absolutely delicious and portion size was awesome! Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Even the Glühwein was great, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re a fan of smoked salmon, I highly recommend it. A cute little fish stall right in the Treptow harbor with a great selection of fresh fish to take away and very tasty fish sandwiches. The freshly smoked products that are smoked directly on site are particularly recommended. The prices are absolutely great, a smoked salmon in a roll costs a reasonable €5. The 2 ladies behind the counter are absolutely adorable. If you love fish, you have to eat here, because it couldn't be better or fresher.

Basically I think the smokehouse there is very good, what pisses me off is that the woman or no matter who is working there, they never put on gloves, grab the fish, then the money, if the roll falls down they will put it back in the sales basket. Well I find it really annoying. I don't know why no one notices it, everyone just says how great it is Eating the fish is disgusting to me.

Inconspicuous but great fish sandwiches. The fish is fresh and smoked fresh every day. The amount of smoked salmon was very generous and for only €5 it was great with a direct location on the Spree.

Edit August 2024: given another chance. The lady with the short haircut and glasses is friendly and accommodating even when there is stress and a long line. This means that the bad experiences of yesteryear are forgotten. The fish roll (garlic matjes) was really tasty and fairly priced at 3.50 euros. Great location too. 2021: What was that? When you ask a friendly question about the opening times, the saleswoman shouts at you in such a way that you lose sight and hearing. Let's place our large orders where you are valued as a customer. I was really afraid that the offending lady would jump over the counter and into my face. Incredibly unfriendly!

Insider tip! Great fish sandwiches and smoked fish. It is freshly smoked on site and the rolls are also freshly topped. Very friendly saleswoman and there is also water for the dogs. Very good value for money. Best in the morning when most tourists are still sleeping.

We had a great roll with very fresh, still slightly warm smoked salmon from the smoker! You sit at small bistro tables by the water. The lady does everything fresh and alone, so it's good to plan for a little waiting time.

Extremely delicious smoked fish, straight from the smoker. An institution at Treptow Harbor with consistently high quality. I always look forward to it when we go for a walk along the harbor. I especially love halibut! The best thing to do is buy a roll and take some fish home with you!

Small, friendly fish stall with a good selection of home-smoked fish, located right next to Treptower Park, the Spree and a nice shopping mile. The really large salmon roll for 4.90 euros is particularly recommended. I rate the prices charged there for the other special, delicious types of fish as quite reasonable.

For now the best place to eat freshly smoked (North Sea) fish. Certainly of all the little kiosks in treptower park it is the only one that offers a fish alternative and with excellent quality. The owners are nice people, the tastes are typical, the smokers real and in front of the place. Onion and cucumber sandwiches in pure Nordic style. Try the Fischbrötchen with anchovies and the fried fish. Average prices, definitely good value for money

Ich liebe den Duft eines Räucherofens! Dabekomme uch einfach Appetit. Frisch geräucherter Fisch im warmen Brötchen mit Zwiebeln und Salatblatt einfach lecker. Bedienung freundlich und Preise okay. Sitzgelegenheiten draußen vorhanden. Es hat nichts mit diesem Verkaufsstand zutun.!!! Traurig ist nur das immer alles vollgeschmiert werden muss durch diese Graffiti Schmierereien. Das zerstört hier und woanders das ganze Bild.

Leider sehr unhygienisch. Die Dame hat mit verdreckten Händen mein Brötchen zubereitet, danach das Geld mit den gleichen Händen gewechselt. Das essen sieht auch nicht appetitlich aus. Schade

Lecker frisch geräucherter Fisch. Viele Sorten als Fischbrötchen oder zum Mitnehmen. Auch die Getränke sind vielfältig und preiswert. Immer wieder gerne.

Leckere Fischbrötchen, wir machen da jedes Mal Station wenn wir im Treptower Park sind. Am besten schmecken Bismarckhering und der Backfisch, letzterer mit selbst gemachter Remoulade. Preislich auch in Rahmen und daher insgesamt so manchem Trendhipsterfood im Park vorzuziehen.

Großartige Räucherei direkt am Treptower Park/s-Bahn. Der Fisch wird direkt vor Ort geräuchert. Ich habe den Laden durch Zufall entdeckt und bin begeistert. Ein Laden ohne schnick schnack, ehrlich und lecker

Leckere Fischbrötchen, sogar mit frisch geräuchertem Stremellachs. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war gut, das Personal freundlich. Ich komme bestimmt wieder.

Die leckersten Fischbrötchen frisch und warm aus dem Räucherofen!

Die Verkäuferin hat geraucht und danach ohne die Hände zu waschen den Fisch und dann auch das Geld angefasst. Sehr unhygienisch. Zudem wurde mir für ein kleines Stück Lachs ein ungewöhnlich hoher Preis verlangt. Laut Preisliste hätten es 148 Gramm sein müssen. Ich habe Zuhause nachgewogen: es waren 118 Gramm. Werde dort nicht mehr einkaufen. Schade.

Heute auf dem Wochenmarkt in Karlshorst "frischen" Saibling gekauft. Das Fleisch hat total modrig geschmeckt. Hatte das Problem schonmal vor einiger Zeit mit einer Forelle! Daher nur 1 Stern.
