Der Service und die Atmosphäre sind ziemlich schlecht, es mangelt an Organisation und die Wartezeiten sind lang, außerdem riecht es drinnen extrem unangenehm.

​Sehr positive Erfahrung in der Fischfabrik. Obwohl wir am geschäftigen Freitagabend unangemeldet zu zwölft vor der Tür standen, wurde uns sofort ein Platz organisiert. Der Empfang und der Service waren über den gesamten Abend hinweg sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Auch kulinarisch top: Die Fisch & Chips sowie die Bouillabaisse waren alle sehr lecker. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Wir hatten hier wirklich leckere Fish & Chips. So gut bekommt man die sonst nur frisch in Schottland. Auch die Saucen sind super lecker. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, man kann mit Karte und in Bar bezahlen. Tische sind keider etwas eng und unbequem.

Lecker, preiswert Fisch. Selten in Berlin

Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Lachsburger war besonders schmackhaft. Leider war der Service furchtbar: Der Besitzer und die Angestellten waren extrem unhöflich, sodass ich nicht wiederkommen möchte. Wir wurden angebrüllt, als wir uns an einen Tisch setzten. Außerdem bekamen wir eine halbe Stunde lang keine Speisekarte, obwohl sie an anderen Tischen serviert wurde. Als ich ein Glas Wein zu meinem Getränk bestellte, musste ich mir vom Kellner eine Standpauke anhören, dass ich es hätte vorher bestellen sollen.

Sehr unhöfliches Personal wenn man kein Yuppie ist. Passt also zur Gegend

2. Versuch… der Chef löscht hier öfters Bewertungen, daher probieren wir es erneut Wir haben hier schon öfter gegessen/ Fisch gekauft. Leider muss man sagen, dass der Chef des Ladens katastrophal ist. Er ist immer sehr unfreundlich, beim letzten Besuch wurde er sogar laut, nur weil wir nach Gemüse gefragt haben. Für die Gastronomie ist er absolut ungeeignet. An dem Tag hat bereits ein Mitarbeiter gekündigt, inzwischen wohl noch ein weiterer – und das offensichtlich wegen des Chefs. Ein wirklich unangenehmer Mensch. Sehr schade, denn das Essen schmeckt eigentlich immer gut und abgesehen von ihm waren bzw. sind alle Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Empfehlung an den Chef: Wenn Sie nicht freundlich mit Menschen umgehen können, sollten Sie den Laden schließen oder einen Beruf wählen, bei dem Sie keinen Kundenkontakt haben….. Wie sie mit ihre Mitarbeiter und Kunden umgehen ist eine Schande.

Viele Sorten und lecker Chips zu erschwinglichen Preisen

Ich gehe alle paar Monate in dieses Restaurant und habe früher 11 Euro für einen kleinen frittierten Kabeljau mit Pommes oder 16 Euro für einen großen Kabeljau mit Fisch bezahlt. Wie auf dem Foto zu sehen, habe ich 25,80 € für gegrillten kleinen Kabeljau mit Kartoffeln und Salat bezahlt. Dieser Teller sollte nicht mehr als 20 € kosten. Salat und Kartoffeln waren sehr durchschnittlich, nichts Besonderes. Das Gericht hat zwar gut geschmeckt, aber der Preis ist völlig übertrieben. Als mir die Bedienung den Preis nannte, habe ich meine Bestellung zur Sicherheit noch einmal wiederholt, und sie bestätigte, dass alles stimmt. Es ist nicht einmal Bio-Salat mit Kartoffeln, um in einem einfachen Restaurant über 25 € zu kosten…

Einfach ein toller Laden und ein grandioses Erlebnis. Wir hatten eine perfekte Bouillabaisse und einen perfekten Lachsburger und die super nette Atmosphäre mit dem Chef und seinem Team genossen. Ganz bald wieder!

Klein aber fein. Das Team versteht das Geschäft. Gute Beratung und Unterhaltung. Gerne wieder.

Der Fisch ist ausgezeichnet und die Bedienung ist freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Hier sollte man keine Ambiente von einem 5 Sterne Restaurant erwarten, auch keine hype Location, einfach nur nett ohne Chichi. Sobald das Wetter es erlaubt, stehen auch Plätze draussen zu Verfügung. Über das Essen kann man auch nur gutes Sagen, alles was frisch in der Theke liegt, darf auch auf den Teller, auch hier nix kompliziertes, kein Chichi, nur gegrillt, oder bei Fish&Chips frittiert. Zusammengefasst: Frisch, Einfach, Sehr Gut :-)

Das Essen war okay, die Atmosphäre aber furchtbar. Der Koch brüllte Gäste und Personal an. Der junge Mann, der dort arbeitete, tat uns richtig leid; es kann nicht einfach sein. Da es ein winziges Lokal ist, kann man seine aggressive Art, die das ganze Erlebnis überschattete, einfach nicht ignorieren.

Der Fisch wurde ganz frisch zubereitet und schmeckte lecker. Die Beilagen waren wohl eher aus dem Plastikeimer. Und so richtig satt sind wir damit nicht geworden. Die Gasstube ist sehr klein. Als wir dort waren, war ein lustiges und lautes Völkchen anwesend, so dass man sich kaum unterhalten konnten. Alles in allem soweit okay. Aber wir werden wohl nicht noch einmal dorthin gehen.

Echt lecker. Alles wird vor deinen Augen zubereitet. Klein aber fein.

Die Auswahl ist super, man kriegt einige für sein Geld. Geschmacklich ausgezeichnet. Der Käpten und seine nette Crew sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Weiter so

Frischer Fisch, frisch zubereitet. Mein Favorit sind der Thunfisch und der Pulpo. Frisch gegrillt, mit Salat und ein paar Bratkartoffeln. Eine kleine Weinauswahl und ein Recht großer Kühlschrank mit diversen Softdrinks. Wenn voll, haben wir es dennoch Recht entspannt erlebt. So wie ein guter Imbiss mit Fischverkauf aus unserer Sicht sein muss... Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierher...

Das ist halt Prenzlauer Berg, klein eng und ein bisschen unbequemes Sitzen. Aber eben etwas, was man sonst selten sieht: ein echtes Fischrestaurant und mit offener Küche. Man sieht vorher was man dann später isst und kann auch bei der Zubereitung zuschauen. Wenn man einen Platz bekommt, denn viele Tische passen da nicht rein. Die Gästekapazität erlaubt aber halt auch dass frisch gekocht wird ohne allzugrosse Wartezeit. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und gut drauf, man sieht das sie lieben was sie machen. Und das schmeckt man dann auch. Hammer lecker.

Absolut lecker und frisch. Winterkabeljau auf der Haut gebraten. An Bratkartoffeln und Salat. Direkt vor meinen Augen zubereitet. Ich habe noch nie erlebt, in einem Fisch-Bistro mit offener Küche zu sitzen, ohne dass man auch nur den Hauch von “Fisch-Duft“ in der Luft bemerken kann. Sensationell! Absolut empfehlenswert für Liebhaber von frischem und lecker gebratenem Fisch!

Aus Hamburg nach Berlin für Fisch :) Als Tipp bekommen und es nicht bereut. Ganz unscheinbar liegt der Laden an der Straße. Fisch und Chips frisch gemacht und schmecken super! Danach gab es noch Räucheraal! Empfehlung!

Es war extrem enttäuschend, sich so auf Fish and Chips zu freuen, sich mit dem Personal zu unterhalten, 20 € extra für ein ordentliches Stück Kabeljau zu bezahlen und dann zu Hause festzustellen, dass die Hälfte des Fisches fehlte und nur eine Seite paniert war. Ich rief dort an, und man sagte mir, das müsse auf dem Heimweg in der Box passiert sein. Dann gab er zu, dass das von mir gewählte Fischstück zu groß für seine kleine Fritteuse war. Das hätte er mir einfach sagen können, als ich vor ihm stand. Stattdessen ließ er mich mit diesem Chaos in meiner Takeaway-Box gehen. Am Ende des Telefonats sagte er, ich bekäme beim nächsten Mal eine Portion gratis, aber das tröstet einen nicht, wenn man weiß, dass man absichtlich abgezockt wurde. ***UPDATE: Liebe Mitarbeiter, ich habe extra bezahlt. Ihr Normalpreis für eine große Portion Fish and Chips beträgt keine 20 €. Ich habe extra bezahlt, um ein größeres Stück Kabeljau zu bekommen. Leider haben Sie mir nicht mitgeteilt, dass das von mir ausgewählte Stück nicht vollständig in meiner Box war und dass Sie Schwierigkeiten hatten, es im Ganzen zu frittieren. Um es klarzustellen: Ich lebe seit 14 Jahren (sehr glücklich 😅) hier in Berlin und war früher Stammgast in Ihrem Restaurant. Ich weiß also, wie das Essen dort ist. Als Britin weiß ich außerdem, dass ein Fish-and-Chips-Laden einen ordentlichen Außer-Haus-Verkauf anbieten sollte. Ihre Reaktion auf meine ehrliche und authentische Bewertung sagt meiner Meinung nach viel über Ihre Mitarbeiter aus. Alles Gute!

We've finally found a place in Berlin where we can enjoy delicious fish and chips! As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by a young man – he was really friendly and personable, as was the woman. The atmosphere was very pleasant and welcoming. The fish, the chips, and both sauces were absolutely delicious. The value for money is definitely excellent. I'm already looking forward to coming back! (The food looked so good that we forgot to take pictures and started eating right away :)

Hidden inconspicuously on a street lined with fast-food stalls, there's a small shop that strives for the highest quality! Our dishes were super fresh, meticulously prepared, and individually prepared.

Fischfabrik in Berlin was overall a decent experience, but not without its downsides. The fish was fresh and the portions were fine, though the flavors felt a bit ordinary and not as special as we expected. The place has a casual, almost canteen-like atmosphere, which works if you just want something quick but isn’t particularly cozy. Prices are on the higher side for what you actually get.

Lots of love to the fish factory... it's not fancy, and they don't sugarcoat anything, and that's a good thing... the place is simply honest... the food is truly amazing... it may look like a snack bar, but it has the quality of a Michelin-starred restaurant... I love everything about this place...

I came here specifically for the Fisch n chips and was impressed. British vinegar, fresh fish, crispy chips, light batter, great service. I will certainly be back. I also had oysters which were divine, house wine was the perfect match for both the oysters and the acidity cut the chips richness. Been wanting to go here a long time. Finally made the trip. Cute little seafood shop with a few tables. The staff were all very friendly and gave a family business vibe. I was exceptionally impressed by the food presentation of my dish and other patrons. Felt super elevated for the quaint feel of the shop. The fish and seafood were fresh and tasty and I enjoyed their wine selection. And I think the price was very good. I will definitely be back.

What can I say? Thank you! As I mentioned before, I discovered the fish factory thanks to the documentary. I wasn't disappointed. A small, fine shop with friendly and honest owners, and the best fish and chips outside of England. And when you see so many Prenzlauers around you, you know this fish factory belongs right here.

I've been going in this small restaurant since 10 years, more or less. In the last 4 years I'm also buying fresh fish from there regularly and it has never ever disappointed. Always fresh, always super tasty and cooked with love. You can just see the dedication and passion that the Chef has for the food he prepares. And if you get to know him a bit, you'll understand, because he's an all-around nice and friendly guy (that includes all of the restaurant staff). So, if you're in the neighborhood or have seen the place but ever wondered if it's worth it ... just go in and enjoy. Whatever you order will be delicious and fresh. Highly recommended.

So was looking for FishnChips for a while now in Berlin and in telling you this Place is the Spot! Crispy fluffy Batter Incredibly Fresh Fish and amazing fries and Sauces a Nice Atmosphere and Staff… some say the Owner is Rude… i don’t believe so he is more like a Gordon Ramsey type of guy serious and Passionate and he is very focused on his tasks and its just a Character thing not Rudeness. Now the only Reason i gave it 4 Stars which if possible would’ve been 4.5 is the Portion Sizes and Price… its not expensive but the small Portion is basically a Snack… i wish there was a third nugget of fish and More Fries (Image is the Small Portion), and for the Large Portion the same increase thats all.

The ambiance inside could be more cozy. The opening hours stated it was open at 11:00 a.m., but I arrived at 11:30 p.m. I had to wait and wasn't given a particularly welcoming or friendly welcome. The food was okay, but I didn't try anything else. It's a shame.

Everything was freshly prepared, well-seasoned, and harmoniously balanced. You can tell the chef is passionate about his work and puts thought into both taste and presentation. The prices aren't cheap, but they're absolutely justified given the quality. Anyone looking for fresh fish in a pleasant atmosphere will definitely find it here.

Un très très bon restaurant de poisson et de fruits de mer à 5mn de la station Eberswalder Str.. L'accueil est attentionné. Le choix est simple et gourmand. Les poissons sont d'une exceptionnelle fraîcheur. Nous avons pris le poulpe (octopus) en plat du jour. Ceux qui me connaissent savent que je suis très exigeant. La cuisson , le goût et la présentation sur l'assiette étaient parfaits. La cuisinière accompagne ses plats de graines germées délicieuses. C'est appétissant. C'est bon. J'ai demandé par gourmandise un filet de hareng et trois couteaux. C'était parfait. Prix très raisonnables. Une adresse que je recommande. Elle a dû succès vu le nombre de clients. Bravo. Et merci pour la gentillesse.

I visited this snack bar today because it was featured as a good snack bar on the rbb broadcast yesterday. There were two glasses of wine, various fish, mussels and shrimp. The taste wasn't bad, but I think it would have been better to go somewhere else.

It’s rare to find a place in Germany where you can compare different types of oysters like this — thank you for the experience! I paired them with a glass of Chardonnay, which was a perfect match.

The place is small and cozy, and you can watch the chef as he cooks. We ordered the fish platter for two, which comes with a glass of wine for each and is priced at 60€. The platter was delicious, and the fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. The chef was also very accommodating and cooked the meal in oil, rather than butter, since I’m dairy intolerant. We will definitely be back!
