Even though we have been visiting here several times, yesterday my girlfriend got food poisoning from the mussel risotto. No problem with the service, but the atmosphere was also quite loud and buzzy. I would think twice before going there again.

The staff acted in a rude and condescending manner. The food was rather ordinary. You can do a lot better in Berlin

Here fish is perfectly prepared in a special way. Our sturgeon tastes excellent. The waiting time was reasonable. We felt very comfortable.

Everything was fine. The cozy atmosphere, the very nice waiters and the fish and wine were of the finest quality. Very happy again!

The seafood was absolutely exceptional, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. We had a wonderful day and thoroughly enjoyed every dish.

Disappointed. I tried the 42 EUR grilled octopus perhaps a bit late in the day, an hour before closing. Slightly ungrilled, cold-ish and unfortunately not near a “California Sea Side” consistency, a bit rubbery. My sides - a remarkably pleasant risotto and a fresh Wakame infused cucumber salad - had an unpleasant side effect of a slightly moldy-tasting shrimp. I did not dare trying the mussels served with the side dish. Decent but not great service - perhaps indeed I was here too late in the day and everyone was already thinking “closing”. A pity - the ambiente is lovely.

What a great little gem. We needed to find a restaurant close to our hotel serving early dinner. Seaside was perfect. The oysters were delicious. The scallops were cooked perfectly. The highlight was the cucumber ginger salad and the swordfish. I liked the salad so much I asked about the ingredients. The staff gladly provided the answer. If swordfish was cooked to perfection like this was, we would order it every time we saw it on a menu. Seaside restored our love of this dish. We highly recommend Seaside for a wonderful meal.

The seafood was pretty fresh, staff excellent. Soup was good, drinks were cheap. Scallops were good. Some of the fish we did not order looked even better, but we had plans at a 2nd restaurant so just went for drinks, soups, scallops and split a huge King Prawn. Certainly a place you can find value.

The food was excellent and the service was very good. We had 4 different types of seafood and all were prepared perfectly.

Starters were exceptional so highly recommend the lobster soup, ceviche and the octopus salad. The waiters were great and we had a lovely German sauvignon blanc recommended to us, which went lovely with the sea bass, salmon, king prawn (huge!) and scallops mains.

Schönes, kleines Lokal. Sehr leckere Fischgerichte und Meeresfrüchte. Sehr hoher Qualitätsstandard.

Der Service war ausgezeichnet, die Lachs Poke war sehr gut. Die Garnelen und der Fisch waren außen ein bisschen zu salzig. Und die Garnelen (18 EUR/100 g = 1 große Garnele) und die Jakobsmuscheln (7 EUR/Stück) waren einfach zu teuer.

The food we had was amazing! The fish was beautifully cooked, leaving us to choose our seasonings and sauces. We absolutely loved that we could mix and match with the side dishes! The staff were also very friendly. They assisted us with any allergies, and handled problems without trouble. 10/10 would recommend! We’ll definitely visit again when we’re in Berlin again!

We ordered oysters on Sunday, got poisoned after it. One of oysters was stinking hard and they replaced it with two fresh oysters saying “Ganz frisch aus dem Markt”. Awesome, so all previous were not frisch aus dem Markt. The octopus was marinated to the extent you can’t really understand if it’s fresh or not. We barely touched it. Please avoid this place for your own safety, they don’t care about your health if they dare to serve such horrible food.

Wir haben ausgezeichneten Wolfsbarsch gegessen, sehr frisch, sehr gut zubereitet, geschmacklich einfach nur ein Genuss. Der Wein aus der Touraine hat das Gericht perfekt abgerundet. Wir können das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen, für einen besonderen Abend.

Das Restaurant in Berlin-Mitte ist sehr nett gestylt, passt zum Speisenangebot. Der Wolfsbarsch war auf den Punkt gegart, die Haut super kross. Mit etwas Petersilie, Zirtonenthymian und Zitrone sitzt man direkt in Frankreich. Das Ofengemüse war nicht nur ein Begleiter sondern ein gleichwertiger Topact! Die Creme Brûlée mit Thymian statt Vanille gut, die Creme hat etwas Luft nach oben. Das Sorbet war geschmacklich und von der Konsistenz klasse! Also das Essen ist echt sensationell, dass Ambiente stimmig, gemütlich und passend. Nicht ganz passen Service, Ambiente und Preis zusammen. Wenn das Fischfilet ohne Beilagen 38 € kostet, darf der Service besser sein! Das fängt bei der Kleidung/Design an. Also tolles Restaurant mit erstklassigem Produkten, nicht günstig aber gute Essen.

Frischer Fisch in täglicher Auswahl. Nicht eben billig, aber seinen Preis wert. Wir hatten das Filet vom Steinbutt und das vom Heilbutt. Die Beilagen wählt man extra. Wir teilten uns Rosmarinkartoffeln, gegrilltes Gemüse und einen Gurkensalat. Der Fisch wird medium gegrillt serviert, mit einem Klacks Souce. Alles fein zubereitet und wohlschmeckend. Als Dessert Creme brullee bzw. Schokokuchen. Dazu ein gut gekühltes Fläschchen Chardonnay. Zu allem ein sehr aufmerksamer freundlicher Service. Preislich landet man so bei 150,- €, muss aber nichts bereuen.

The old concept of chosing your pieces of fish at the counter was so much better. And therefore, also the current prices are too high. Still a high rating though for the quality of the food and the nice service. But please reconsider bringing back the old concept!

Super lecker! Tolle Atmosphäre! Freundliches Personal. Wir fanden die Preise (vor allem für eine Garnele je nach Gewicht 100-180g = 18-30€) überzogen, aber alles hat super geschmeckt und wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend. Vor allem die Hummersuppe war ein Gedicht!

Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist sehr schlecht. Das Essen ist sehr teuer aber leider nicht besonders. Es gibt deutlich günstigere Meeresfrüchte Restaurants, welche dazu auch noch geschmacklich besser sind. Das Ambiente war schön, etwas eng und das Licht war mir persönlich zu dunkel. Nachdem ich die anderen Bewertungen gelesen habe, hatte ich große Hoffnungen aber ich wurde leider enttäuscht.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier. Das Essen war ganz hervorragend (von der aktuellen Tageskarte), der Service war anfangs etwas schleppend, aber insgesamt sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gute Atmosphäre. Die Preise sind leicht überteuert. Trotzdem sehr empfehlenswert und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Fish & Chips von der Tageskarte für 16 Euro. Dafür bekommt man eine kleine Portion, vermutlich vormals tiefgefrorenen Fisch und Kartoffeln. Geschmacklich unter Durchschnitt, preislich leider überhaupt nicht. Die beiden Mayo-Dips waren gut. Schade!

Unfortunately, this is a restaurant where I had high expectation before but cannot really recommend depends on my personal experience. I have to say they have a really nice interior decoration of the restaurant, the staff was kinda friendly (but somehow do not know much about the menu and offers wrong information sometimes), but the food was just overpriced and doesn't really taste good. I won't say the food is bad, it is acceptable for a two dollar symble restaurant, but definitely not for their offered price.

Seaside is an excellent seafood restaurant. We enjoyed perfectly prepared salmon and octopus for dinner which speaks volumes about the skills in the kitchen. The service was also excellent. Prices seem high to this visitor but in line with other Berlin restaurants. I can highly recommend this restaurant for seafood lovers.

Die Speisekarte verlockt zu weiteren Besuchen, die ich aber wegen der sibirischen Temperaturen im Innenraum auf die wärmere Jahreszeit verlegen werde. Schade, dass das Gesamtergebnis deswegen nicht so gut ausfällt. Besonders die Plätze in Fensternähe sollten tunlichst im Winter gemieden werden!

Here is a short, quick review for those seeking a spontaneous decision whether to go here or not: Food: We ordered homemade ice tea, lachs fish (medium-well) with sides of veggies, cucumbers, muscheln risotto, fries, and creme brûlée for dessert . The lachs were tasty, came with a lemon wedge, well cooked. The sides were tasty as well, especially. The muscheln risotto. (It was the highlight for one of the members of our group). Creme brûlée: the creme inside was alright but I found the outer part a bit harder. I have had better creme brulee before, but this was alright. Not so bad. Service: Very nice and posch. People keep coming to ask if anything is needed. Also very friendly. ambience: I LOVED it. We sat towards the end of the restaurant. The walls are made of white wooden blocks and it feels like we are sitting inside an old, antique ship. Price: a little bit expensive in my opinion. Overall: I would go there to test and have a nice experience. 😊

Decent place to eat at a super touristy Location. The service was surprisingly good for Berlin Standard and the fish was fresh and done properly. The side dishes also met our expectations.

Food fantastic. Clean tasting light and simple. Service fab. Bit expensive but poss not expensive for Berlin but a special couple of times a year thing for a majority of people. You can make it cheaper though with different choices and as I say food was excellent and with pretty and cosy surroundings.

Disappointing. We spent over 170€ on entrées and mains, no dessert, no alcohol. The oysters were so salty they made my eyes water. Didn’t taste like the ocean at all, just salt. The lobster soup was delicious, especially the shellfish gyoza inside. The service was also good. I ordered the codfish filet as a main and my partner the bream. Both tasted …bizarre. A strange aftertaste somewhere between plastic and bittersweet herbs. Skin was rubbery instead of light and crispy. I expected a lot better when paying 40€ for a piece of fish.

Ambiente wie eine Strandbar gemacht, das Essen war auch sehr lecker. Aber Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht ok. Hauptgerichts im Schnitt 5-6 Euro zu teuer, zumal auch alle Beilagen extra kosten. Vorspeise kam, bevor wir überhaupt die Getränke hatten. Tische stehen sehr eng beieinander

What an incredible restaurant – the food, the service, the decor all are perfect. We booked here to celebrate my Mum’s birthday and couldn’t have picked a more perfect place. It’ll definitely be a place I return to when I visit Berlin in the future. If you love fish then look no further, nothing to disappoint you!

Idealne miejsce dla miłośników owoców morza. Restauracja z unikatowym wystrojem i klimatem serwująca pyszne ostrygi, kalmary i ryby. Wszystkie produkty zwierze, kulturalna i miła obsługa. Restauracja przez duże R. Miła odmiana od wszędzie serwowanych w Berlinie fakt foodów. Polecam miłośnikom dobrej kuchni.
