Very good food, good service but unfortunately too loud

With the best Greek restaurant I've eaten at, modern, cozy atmosphere, I had a grill plate, the gyros was so tender and delicious, I've never eaten such good souflaki in my life, the prices are top, 3 different types of tap Beer, which is outstanding, if you like Greek, this is the place for you.

There is an extremely hospitable atmosphere at Filia. The atmosphere is modern yet cozy. The meat is not too fatty and the use of convenience products is kept within limits. The portions are large. Unfortunately, the €17 gyro plate does not contain any salad. I debated between 4 and 5 stars for a long time, but in the end I have to deduct one star for the pricing, the decision not to include Coca-Cola in the range and the lack of parking facilities. Nevertheless, it wasn't the last time we were here. Card payment possible. Reservations recommended as it is usually busy.

Very friendly service, attentive but not intrusive. Menu very diverse. We took advantage of the varied lunch menu, super flavorful and rich. A small drink was included. The atmosphere is overall pleasant.

We went to the theater and then to Filia's, drank some wine, it was very good and ate a starter plate! Also very tasty! Very, very nice service!!

We have now been to the Filia several times for private or business purposes with a group. The atmosphere is modern and inviting. The service has always been friendly, attentive and quick. The offering is varied and the food is of very good, fresh quality, which is also reflected in the prices. But in my opinion it's reasonable - price/performance is still just right. Let's move on to Greek food.

We spontaneously went to eat at Filia in Dortmund and we enjoyed everything very much, above average even by Greek standards (which are already high anyway). The location and the service are also very good, so it deserves 5 stars 👍

Wir waren mit Freunden im Filia und hatten das Glück, dass wir bei den warmen Temperaturen am Fenster sitzen konnten. Das Ambiente ist modern und ansprechend, dabei aber auch gemütlich. Der Service war sehr gut, die Mitarbeiter sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war sehr gut, selten so saftiges Souvlaki gegessen. Alles in allem lohnt sich ein Besuch im Filia in jedem Fall!

First of all, a wow for this beautiful ambience, which you wouldn't really expect from the outside! Service was very courteous, attentive and everything was great!!! I'm actually not much of a Greek fan when it comes to cuisine... Somehow I have to change my mind! The kitchen delivered very well! Regardless of whether it's a grill plate or something similar... finally a Greek who hasn't fried the meat to death! I found the fries with lemon and hard cheese exciting >>> awesome!!!! Baked zucchini is great as a starter! Everything, really everything, was prepared with love and that's why I'm happy to recommend this Greek restaurant! Greetings from Bavaria!

Erstmal ein Wow für dieses schöne Ambiente was man von außen nicht so ganz vermutet ! Service sehr zuvorkommend, aufmerksam und somit alles Bestens!!! Ich bin eigentlich nicht so der Griechenfan, was die Küche betrifft……. Irgendwie muss ich meine Meinung ändern! Die Küche hat sehr gut abgeliefert ! Egal ob Grillteller oder ähnliches… endlich mal ein Grieche, der das Fleisch nicht tot gebraten hat! Spannend fand ich die Pommes mit Zitrone und Hartkäse >>> genial!!!! Gebackene Zucchini als Vorspeise top! Alles, wirklich alles war mit Liebe zubereitet und deshalb werde ich diesen Griechen sehr gerne weiterempfehlen! Liebe Grüße aus Bayern!

We got the food delivered. They said 45 minutes, but we waited over 1.5 hours. The food was lukewarm and therefore not really edible. Actually it would even be zero stars, the meat is dry and the fries are soggy

We were there in the evening and ordered many different dishes. I would describe it as good, solid cuisine. Unfortunately, I personally was missing that certain something. I would have liked more spices. But all in all, you can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience.

We had a late meal with a larger group after an event. The service was very attentive and friendly! The food was very tasty and came to everyone at the same time, despite the size of the group. Thanks to the extensive menu, everyone can find something to eat there. A really great evening, many thanks to the team. 😊

I ordered gyros there yesterday and it took almost 2 hours waited. I've never eaten such bad gyros in my life. Gyros totally strange taste, not seasoned, fries totally soggy and not yet cooked through, tzatziki ready in a small plastic tub and €12.90 for it? I can get more and better for less money somewhere else! I also got 2 balls that were totally disgusting, supposedly they were a Greek dessert. End of song: My toddler and I had stomach pains and diarrhea all evening, never experienced anything like that and I eat gyros regularly, but unfortunately my regular restaurant is on vacation at the moment. NEVER AGAIN, I would prefer not to give a star!!

Very well seated, friendly service, a menu with a great selection. The food was served super quickly. Everything tasted very good, the meat was well prepared and the quality was very good. Completely satisfied, would love to come back. Oh, prices. Not more expensive than anywhere else, you don't want to eat like in a Greek snack bar.

Fantasy prices are made here. Each dish is 3-4€ more expensive than advertised. Staff who are very unfriendly and don't want to serve. Food was OK and nothing special. The portions are miniature for the price.

Went there today and reserved a table for 5 people. Despite the masses of football fans, they handled it brilliantly...I take my hat off to this achievement. Of course we had to wait a little longer for our food, but due to the unexpected rush it was still quick enough and of the best quality. The employees were fully challenged but still joked and looked after us guests in a friendly manner. Thank you for this experience.

The restaurant is well attended. You should reserve in advance. We were lucky to get a seat on site after a bit of a wait. Eat: The tzatziki was very tasty 😋. For the main course we had moussaka and the “Greek style pan” from the special menu. The moussaka was ok but had a better taste compared to other restaurants (more herbal spices). The stir fry was quite good. I only felt that the potato pieces in the pan were unnecessary when there were fries as a side dish. Service: Despite the store being full, quite attentive. If you bring (bottled goods = wheat beer) to the guest and fill it into the glass yourself, the service will take the bottle back with them to the first dish. Unfortunately, these were left on the table until shortly before payment. Ambiance: Modern furnishings, multimedia advertising board in the guest room a bit disadvantageous. Conclusion: Good starting point for an evening tour of the city. Food good, but in some "suburban" Greeks you can get it with more sophistication.

We (= five people) had reserved a table for a Saturday evening last December. It was clear to us that this was necessary because of the Christmas market and the general hustle and bustle in December where friends and clubs dine together. It was supposed to be a celebration of a special occasion among us friends, so it wasn't just any old evening for us. We came - and no table was free! And: Instead of showing his colors and saying “sorry,” the Greek owner tried to blame US for not making a reservation. His bad luck: The open order calendar was at the front, next to the entrance door, with our order neatly recorded with an accurate time! He has to acknowledge this grumblingly. All professional friendliness was wiped away, leaving as little of it as the hair on his skull. He appeared harsh and impudent. All the displayed friendliness was as if blown away, here stood a pure profiteer in front of us, one who tried not to solve a situation that HIM had screwed up - but to talk it away as best he could. Then (=after half an hour of standing!) he managed to ask away a group of guests who had not made a reservation but had already paid. We were allowed to sit down, given the menus - and waited, waited, waited... Until we ran out of patience and left. The bald man staggered along after us, but - too late. Never again. I had several types of meat. Three out of four were on the grill for too long (a little too dark, dry). But taste was good, service was great!

In the afternoon we spontaneously looked for a place to eat to fortify ourselves before a concert. It looked inviting and we received a very warm welcome. Everyone was very nice and friendly. After being asked and recommended, I decided on dark beer and didn't regret it. The menu is clear and not overloaded. Price-wise, completely okay. I chose the grill plate 2 and was pleasantly surprised by the well-prepared plate in appearance and quantity. The Giros was a little lukewarm at the edge, but that's basically normal because it cools down faster and faster. But it was still hot under the meat. Nothing was dry or fried to death. Everything was damn tasty and was completely sufficient. It is definitely a restaurant that I can recommend without hesitation. My friends also had nothing to complain about and were thrilled. Top 👍🏻😁🥳

Well-attended Greek restaurant with original Greek dishes, somewhat adapted for Germany. The vegetarian dishes are all just appetizers (except the veggie burger). Otherwise, a lot of meat, to the point of abandonment.

Saturday evening and the restaurant filled up over time, but the service was still quick and impeccable. The ambience is very pleasant, the room dividers mean the volume is still appropriate for entertaining. The choice of food is very large. I had the lamb fillet and was thrilled: very tender, medium to perfection and no “stable taste” that many people are always afraid of. Gladly again!

Came across Filia by chance because we wanted to go to a real restaurant and not just a pub. Despite the house being full, the service was very friendly and the food came reasonably quickly. The taste of the food was also perfect. We recommend :)

Vor einigen Monaten haben wir an einem verregneten Abend dieses Lokal besucht. Es wirkte sehr modern u.ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Es besteht aus mehreren Ebenen und Glasscheiben das auch ein wenig Privatsphäre entsteht Wir würden erstmal sehr freundlich und ein wenig überschwänglich begrüßt und zu unserem Tisch begleitet. Wir bestellten Halloumi Käse und eine gemischte Vorspeisenplatte. Den Halloumi Käse habe ich wirklich schon oft viel geschmackvoll er zubereitet gegessen. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis der Vorspeisenplatte empfanden wir als zu teuer. Die Zucchini und Auberginenscheiben sollten paniert sein, waren aber leider keineswegs leicht kross. Während des Essens fand leider kein Service mehr statt. Keine Nachfrage nach neuen Wünschen bzw. ob es geschmeckt hat. Waren ein wenig enttäuscht

Zurecht gut besucht: Das griechische Speiselokal 'Filia' an der Hohen Straße überzeugt durch eine modern-mediterrane, helle und großzügige Raumgestaltung, bleibt dabei sachlich, aber nicht steril. Auf dem Teller findet sich dies im übertragenen Sinne durchaus wieder: Appetitlich angerichtet wird hier Gutes serviert - saftige Souflaki, auf den Punkt gegartes Rinderbifteki, frisch-sahniges, moderat mildes Tzatziki, rustikale Pommes mit Kräutern und grobem Salz, knuspriges Gyros. Abgerundet wird das Ganze durch einen sehr freundlichen, flotten Service und sehr angemessene Preise. Empfehlenswert.

Es war ein runder Abschluss zu Weihnachten. Leckeres Essen, nettes Personal und super Ambiente 👌👍😊 und unser Hund war auch willkommen!

Seit ich dieses Restaurant vor einiger Zeit entdeckt habe, ist es zu meinem Lieblings-Restaurant im Dortmunder Innenstadt-Bereich geworden. Sowohl das Essen, als auch ausnahmslos das ganze Team einschließlich des Chef-Ehepaares selbst sind ausgesprochen nett und sind Garanten für beste Kundenbehandlung. Das Ambiente ist ebenso toll wie die stets ausreichend gewärmten Räumlichkeiten. Der tolle Adoli Ghis-Wein rundet das leckere Essen für mich perfekt ab, und gehört seit dessen Entdeckung jedesmal dazu. Inzwischen gehen wir überwiegend hierher, wenn wir mal sehr nett Essen gegen wollen.

Das Restaurant war voll besucht und wir wurden schnell bedient. Das Essen ist gut gewesen und das Preis Niveau war etwas erhöht. Das Ambiente ist recht schön gestaltet, jedoch aufgrund der Raum Aufteilung ist die Geräuch Kulisse etwas hoch. Trotzdem kann ich das Restaurant empfehlen.
