There are plenty of taxi plates, but it's very rare to find one as good as this! Perfect gyro, super friendly owners! I came here by chance, but I'll definitely be back!

A very cool atmosphere, super friendly people. We were at a trade fair in Dortmund and I thought we'd give it a try. My wife and I just had to. The portion was amazing, and we highly recommend Akropolis Grill to everyone. The price and quality are great for Dortmund, and we absolutely recommend it. Jannis and Tanja's food is always delicious... no matter what I've eaten so far...🤤 Mmm, yummy. You have to get your own drinks (who cares), but the food is brought to your table. Yummy. And not to forget the warm hospitality of the two of them. We'd be happy to come back 😌

We were looking for an alternative today. Unfortunately totally disappointed. Gyros tastes dry. Slightly like cheese. Fries also disappointing. The highlight was the tzatziki. This will certainly be our last visit.

On Sunday after a seminar on the way back to Frankfurt, all the shops were closed and so I happened to end up here hungry. Absolutely delicious, inexpensive and portions that will fill everyone up. The owner and the owner were really nice. Absolutely can't complain, and if a route passes here again, we know where to stop.

I've eaten a lot of Gyros Pita. But it tastes best here! Crispy meat, fatty pita bread, creamy tzatziki and delicious spices. The taste and price are simply unbeatable here!

Here you can say: price, performance and taste are in great harmony. Definitely recommend it for lunch. The portions are generous, the meat and salads are consistently fresh and taste very good. Fries were hot and crispy and the tzatziki was also very good. It tasted very garlicky without being spicy. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel comfortable. Overall, absolutely a recommendation.

Disaster: over-seasoned, over-salted, rancid, burnt, old fat = inedible! Never seen such bad “food”! 45€ out the window...

Überwürzt, angebrannt, ranziger Salat, selbst die Pommes waren ungenießbar. Zum Glück wurde die eigentlich bestellte Mayo vergessen, wer weiß, wozu es gut war. Nach einigen Bissen musste nur die Mülltonne damit gefüllt werden

Before the price increase everything was fine, the portions were good, only if you drastically increase the portion size and reduce it by half you can end up out of business. For the current prices there is no going back and to put it bluntly, it's an impudence

We regularly eat here during our lunch break. Very friendly hosts every time, always ready with a quick saying. Today I had Bifteki special, I have never had a better one anywhere. The boss reported that he had just prepared it fresh, and you could taste it! Super juicy and spicy. Plus crispy fries, delicious tzatziki and a mixed side salad. I hardly know a better Greek snack bar in Dortmund!

We were looking forward to a delicious meal and were guided by the positive reviews, but unfortunately it turned out to be a mistake. The food was totally over-spiced and you couldn't eat it at all. In addition, the Metaxa plate with Bifteki was so burnt at the bottom that everything just tasted charred. Gyros was rock hard, chewy and dry. Only salad and fries were okay. When paying, they even charged €2 more than what was stated on the internet. It was an absolutely disappointing, expensive and annoying experience, a shame about the money wasted.

It's worth a visit!!! The owners are very friendly and the portions are great size - everyone should be satisfied here! Plus it tastes absolutely delicious. I can highly recommend the Acropolis plate!! And before I forget: the prices are absolutely fair! What more do you want?? The only note: It has more of the feel of a chip shop. So if you're expecting an elegant restaurant, you've come to the wrong place. But I like to come back again and again!!! :)

Unglaublich gutes Gyros mit anständigen Portionen. Das beste griechische Essen in der Umgebung. Die Preise bezahlt man dann auch gerne.

Sehr leckeres Essen von der Pommes/Currywurst bis hin zu den großen Gerichten. Klarer Favorit ist bei uns die offene Pita, das Bifteki oder die überbackenen Gyrosgerichte. Die Salate werden immer frisch zubereitet und sind sehr gut. Wir kommen hier sehr gerne essen und schätzen die Gastfreundschaft von Euch beiden.

Ich weiß nicht wie es hier schmeckt weil man im Jahr 2023 keine Kartenzahlung akzeptiert.

Nun ja, ich finde die Pommes, das Bifteki und das Gyros total überwürzt. Warum macht man sowas? Schade. Die Inhaber sind nett und freundlich. Sitzgelegenheiten sind genug da.

Was soll man da sagen? Zwei super liebe Menschen, immer leckeres Essen, ordentliche Portionen. Ich bin gerne dort.

Super netter und zuvorkommender Service. Das Essen ist leider völligst überwürzt. Zusätzlich noch Gewürz auf dem Gyros mit Zwiebeln. Das ist zu viel! Das Gyros ist dröge, salzig und trocken. Teilweise einfach nur steinhart. Schade! Für uns bei weitem keine Alternative zum Olympia Grill.

Ein Essen bei Janis ist wie ein Kurzurlaub! Immer freundlich und herzlich! Steckt viel Hingabe in allem was hier zubereitet wird!

Lecker Gyros und nette Atmosphäre. Bei Jannis und Tanja fühlt man sich wohl und willkommen. Und geht satt wieder nach Hause.

Selten so schlecht gegessen, hatte spontan Hunger auf eine Gyros Pita. Diese ist hier nicht zu empfehlen. Habe es noch nie erlebt, daß das Brot in der Fritteuse erwärmt wird. Also eine Gyros Pita besteht hier aus frittierten Brot , das vor Fett triefte. Ungenießbar. Mein Fazit, Essen für die Mülltonne.

Leider ist das Essen überwürzt viel zu viel Salz, Curry und Paprikasosse usw.. Grosse Portionen zwar, jedoch schmeckt z.B. die als Metaxa Sosse verkaufte, sehr verdächtig nach Maggifix für Jäger/Rahmchampignonschnitzel......Leider keine Empfehlung. Die Lage an der Hauptstr. lässt einen kein Wort verstehen beim Gespräch wenn man draußen sitzt und man atmet mehr Abgase ein als Luft.....schade

Besser geht es wohl kaum wenn man einfach nur griechisch essen will. Portionen sind riesig. Fleisch ist gut gewürzt. Die Schweinesteaks kann ich sehr empfehlen!
