The Fett Boy Burger was okay, nothing outstanding. The highlight was the plum ketchup, but be careful: since the flavor is very dominant, you almost only taste the ketchup.

What an amazing burger joint, what a great place! From the first moment to the last, from the old-school reggae over the speakers, to the delicious burger.

After enjoying a wonderful burger last time, I had to try the okonomiyaki – Japanese pancake – today. Down-to-earth, incredibly delicious, cooked and served with love. A dream! If you want to eat well and well, Fettboy is the place to be. Plus, they have a great selection of music. I'll definitely be back :)

Top-notch shop with the best burger quality!

If you're craving really good, delicious, and perfectly prepared burgers and grilled sandwiches... you absolutely have to go to Fettboy!!! It's worth it!!! French fries, a variety of dips, and a great selection of drinks are also available... basically everything your heart, soul, and stomach could desire. So don't hesitate or think twice, just go and enjoy!

the bun was cold, the meat was not great, tasteless, the fries greasy and too salty. really disappointed, because the reviews seemed like it would be a nice place to grab something to eat. and the prices showed on Google are lower than in reality. the staff was helpful and kind. maybe we just went in on a bad day.

This was my second visit to Fettboy. This time I had the pastrami sandwich with sweet potato fries and the plum ketchup, which is a real game-changer, by the way. It was simply delicious. The burgers are also highly recommended. Small menu, great food! And what's always a deciding factor for me is the music. A great mix of classics, punk rock, and rock 'n' roll! So, if you're in Neustadt, go to Fettboy!

Unfortunately, the meat in the Classic Burger was overcooked and therefore a bit tough. The macaroni and cheese sandwich was also missing the cheese, as is typical for mac and cheese. My highlight was the plum ketchup. I would buy that on its own. The prices on the website no longer match the prices in person.

Plum ketchup with sweet potato fries is the best combination ever. Unfortunately, there's only one veggie option for the burgers, but it's really great. The staff are relaxed and super friendly. The atmosphere is perfect. I'll be back.

The negative reviews confuse me, as I found my beef burger to be above average; juicy and high-quality meat, delicious plum ketchup (I'd never had it before, but the sweetness was perfectly balanced and a great addition!), well-chosen buns, and fresh-looking ingredients. The fries were crispy and, unlike some other fast-food restaurants, didn't drip with grease—just as they should be. The employee also ran the place single-handedly: preparing the food, processing payments, and even serving... I have a lot of respect for this, as many of the people complaining here certainly wouldn't be able to do it that way. ;) In short: Solid burger, we'll be back! On the financial side: Sure, many people can't afford €20 for a burger meal every week—especially if they have children and are on a limited budget. Nevertheless, it has to be profitable for the operator, and as we all know, the current times are proving to be a major challenge for businesses, which is why price increases have become unavoidable. But the price was also reflected in the taste of the meat – no comparison to run-of-the-mill chain restaurants.

Really delicious burgers, especially the vegetarian one, which I, as a meat lover, also enjoy.

I ate here with my dad, and it was incredibly delicious. 🤤 We're both very impressed by the potential this little shop has. A small selection now promises high quality. Thank you for the delicious food, we'll be back again☺️

The burgers are tastier than in Mac. The place itself is tino, but there is a strong smell of fat, the tables on the street save it.

Good burgers, but 50 cents for a paper bag

Three of us came here for dinner. Because of the weather, we sat outside. Right on Bautzener Straße. Yes, it was loud, but we still managed to have a conversation. The food was delicious and freshly made. We had burgers and fries. There was also a veggie burger, and that was also delicious. They used good, juicy meat and a brioche bun. Great! All in all, I highly recommend this place.

The Veggieboy (the only vegetarian burger on the menu) was just okay. Vegan? Not a chance. The burger was completely over-the-top, so you barely tasted anything besides the fried egg. I didn't get a hint of the supposedly awesome plum ketchup. Overall, a disappointment; given all the hype, I expected much more. There are definitely better options in Neustadt.

I was there with four friends, and I was the only one who had the Fat Burger. It was also the only one of a normal size; the other burgers had a really sad little lump of meat between their buns. The food itself was delicious, but all the other burgers, except for the Fat Burger, were a disappointment. The plum ketchup sounds fancy, but it's not that great. You can sit outside, though, and relax.

Not your average burger joint! It's definitely a first to see fennel and orange salad on a burger. Loved it! Great atmosphere, loved the music.

I have been to many burger shops and this place is the worst I know so far. We had the Gettho Boy, which just had a dollop of sauce, bread and the meat on it. Not a single lettuce leaf or anything similar and that for €6.90! Price performance is absolutely not right! Maybe the other burgers are better, this one was so disappointing!

I ordered a bacon cheese sandwich and was very satisfied! A bit too much sauce for my taste, but still very tasty! Good tip for everyone who orders take-away: take enough napkins with you! :D

Very tasty sandwiches and burgers.

Unfortunately it was very bad, we ordered 3 burgers and the chef didn't even know which citizen was which 🙈. The cheap burger was just the bun with meat and sauce that didn't taste good, so unfortunately the shop is not recommended at all. With so much competition in Dresden (where there are a lot of very tasty burgers) you should avoid this shop.

Exceptionally delicious, especially the sandwiches are highly recommended! Comparatively a little more expensive than average, but it's definitely worth the 2.3 euros more! It's a shame it's closed on Sundays and Mondays.

The 2 mile walk from my hotel was worth it. Fettboy is simple and delicious. I came from a Berlin conference just to look for great Pastrami and Dresden did not disappoint. Dressed with a wonderful bit of salad, the grilled cheese makes this an excellent sandwich. I would highly recommend this when in Dresden.

Super tasty, freshly handmade burgers at reasonable prices, friendly staff. Personally, it's a bit too busy and loud inside, but the atmosphere here is still much more pleasant than in any fast food joint. 😉

Danger. Very sweet! The Fettboy Premium Burger and the Veggie Burger were tried. 2 points for the ingredients: everything fresh, the party prepared to perfection, delicious ciabatta bun Point deduction: the high-quality ingredients would be RUINED BY THE EXTREMELY SWEET PLUM KETCHUP. I felt like I was chewing on sugar crystals. Added to this are the flabby, sweet red wine onions. It just tastes sweet. Otherwise no flavor came through. If only there was at least a certain spiciness or some spices. But no, everything is just bland and sweet (I'm a fan of Saxon desserts as a main course, but not in combination with meat) The VEGGIE BURGER HAS NO PATTY, but only consists of - be careful - limp grilled vegetables with a fried egg on top. Of course with an overdose of sweet ketchup. Otherwise no taste, no spice, nothing at all. It's a shame about the high quality ingredients. When paying I was asked "Was everything OK...?" I then commented that it was all VERY sweet. Answer from the colleague at the checkout: He likes it that way. Conclusion: a matter of taste, you should know what to expect. Not fully recommended.

Absolute insider tip in Dresden! I would still like an all-inclusive menu that includes a drink, a burger or a sandwich and fries with gravy. I had the mac and cheese sandwich, and it was delicious! Everyone should also try the plum ketchup – incredibly delicious! 10/10.

I had the Fett Boy Burger to take away twice. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere also fits the store well. I was able to watch the burgers being freshly prepared. The quality of the burger was really good. However, it didn't suit my or my girlfriend's taste, which we found very unfortunate. Unfortunately, I can't specify exactly what it was, whether it was the red wine onions or something else. Nevertheless, I would try another burger again, maybe I'll have better luck.

But, alas, at Fettboy, this quest ended not with a bang, but with a whimper—a dry, flavorless whimper that left my taste buds filing a missing person's report. Entering the restaurant, my hopes were high. The ambiance screamed, "We care about food!" Unfortunately, the vegetarian burger whispered, "We barely care about sustenance." As I took my first bite, I was struck by an overwhelming wave of... nothing. It was as if the chef had taken great care to ensure each ingredient was individually stripped of any semblance of flavor before assembling them into a patty-shaped disappointment. The bun was stale, the patty was dry, and the whole thing had the consistency of a couch cushion. I even tried to drown it in chilli and salt, but they could not rescue this flavorless abomination. It’s as if the burger had taken a vow of silence and decided to bring my taste buds along for the monastic ride. In the grand theatre of gastronomy, this veggie burger was the understudy who forgot their lines, tripped over the scenery, and brought the curtain down prematurely. If flavor were an Olympic event, this burger wouldn’t even make it to the qualifying rounds. In fact, it might be disqualified for not showing up at all. So, if you enjoy meals that taste like existential despair with a side of regret, Fettboy is your place. Otherwise, steer clear and save your appetite for something with at least a whisper of flavor. You've been warned!

Great sandwiches and citizens - really tasty!

Good Neustadt burger shop. The meat is not frozen and is nice and juicy and medium. The fries are above average. However, I find the homemade plum ketchup on the burgers a bit too sweet and cinnamon-heavy. I don't remember if it said that this ketchup is on everything by default. Of course it's a matter of taste, but I would like to be pointed out. I thought it was okay, but I also like it heartier and my sister didn't like the sauce at all xD Otherwise everything was good and fresh. Service was also good. But you can't go wrong with a burger joint. The ambience was also good, but not 5 stars because it didn't stand out and I was missing a few plants. The back hallway, which was visible, was also not so inviting/untidy (tip: just put a nice curtain in front of it)

Burgers & sandwiches are super delicious! Better than most other burger joints. Fries are not our thing, they are often thin and limp. Prices have risen sharply. The staff was super nice on some days, but on their days...well, not so much. What's really annoying are the long waiting times, even when picking up and when there's not much going on.

Like the review below, can’t speak for the food because we couldn’t have it. The staff member was more than rude, didn’t seem interested to help at all and told us that the food would take more than 30 minutes even though it’s just a burger and the restaurant was empty. Maybe sort out your staffs attitude?

I can't comment on the quality of the burgers because we were unable to get them. A few of my friends and I went to fettboys to dine-in. It was a a beautiful day and the tables were setup outside. We asked the staff if we could eat outside. They said they didn't have plates for some reason. Even though there were no customers and we were at a restaurant. No problem on our end, we said we would take it to go and just eat outside. This was not also allowed. The staff member said something about tax fraud if we consumed a takeout Burger at a table outside. At a certain point you need to use common sense. We left at that point. I suspect they didn't want to serve us because we were speaking English. Worse service I have had in Dresden and that's saying something.

I've only been here once and had a burger with tender meat, crispy but not dry cheeks, fried eggs and plum ketchup. The brioche bun was very tender and airy, but a little too sweet for a burger for me. I also found the egg to be a little over-salted, so when combined with the bacon it would be too much. But it's very positive that you put more than just a lettuce leaf on it, so that in the end you actually have a good contrast. The fries were crispy and even though the portion looks a bit small, it is enough. Apart from that, I would have salted them a little less. As a sauce, I chose plum ketchup again so that I could test it outside of the burger. And what can I say, the sauce actually turned out well, but in my opinion it could use some cayenne pepper or chili. I found the service to be friendly and the waiting time not too long. The menu consists of a drink, fries and a burger for just under €11. I've had enough of it, which, given the general quality, results in a good price/performance ratio.

I've been looking for authentic burgers for a long time now and always skipped Fettboy because I was a bit afraid of that plum sauce. Then I recently ordered the Fettboy Burger and WOOOW - the meat was perfectly fried, juicy, beautiful color - I haven't found it in Dresden Neustadt until now. Try the Pastrami Sandwish for lunch today.

Mega lecker, sehr zu empfehlen!

Einer der besten vegetarischen Burger, den ich jemals gegessen habe. Die Rotweinzwiebeln sind mega und das Ei war perfekt. Das Brötchen war in Focaccia-Art, es passte sehr gut. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Auch der Burger mit Fleisch war sehr gut.

Kleiner süßer Laden. Wenig sachen auf der Karte, aber die Qualität ist dementsprechend außergewöhnlich. Der Preis ist sehr fair und das Essen immer sehr frisch und super lecker. Die Pommes sind extrem gut und auch frisch. Sogar frisch geschnitten. Man kann alles sehen und die Leute sind freundlich.

Nette Bedienung, das Essen muß man mögen.

Wir fahren mindestens einmal im Monat hin, einfach weil es lecker, frisch und handgemacht ist.

Super Essen der Burger und die Süßkartoffelpommes waren super, nichts zu meckern

Wollte erst gar nicht rein, weil von außen nicht so einladend. Aber der Service und auch der Burger waren super. Es wird frisch zubereitet und es schmeckte wirklich sehr gut. Ich kann dieses kleine Burger Lokal empfehlen.

Man darf sich nicht von der äußeren Erscheinung des Gebäudes ablenken lassen. Ich war dort mit zwei Freundinnen und wir hatten den Fatboy Burger und den Ghetto Burger. Dazu kleine Pommes alles wurde frisch zubereitet. Der Service war sehr freundlich, das Ambiente hat Berliner Charme. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und satt. Jederzeit zu empfehlen.

wir sind auf Empfehlung zu zweit in Fettboy eingekehrt und es war wahrscheinlich die besten Entscheidung des Tages. Sehr empfehlenswert! Neben einer absolut liebenswerten Person im Service hat diese innerhalb kürzester Zeit ein Burger gezimmert der mein Hunger und Appetit völlig gestillt hat. Preise sind völlig vertretenswert und die Stimmung angenehem entspannend. Die Süßkartoffelpommes sind definitiv ein muss Ja mehr gibt es nicht zu sagen 5 Sterne, danke euch für das leckere Essen :)

Auf Allergien werden geachtet. Man kann bei der Zubereitung zuschauen. "Einfache" Karte und grandioser Geschmack. Der Bacon ist immer knusprig und der Pflaumenketchup ein anderer, fantastischer Ersatz für Tomatenketchup. Sitzbereich Innen gefällt mir nicht da es mich an ein Bahnhofscafé erinnert.

Die Burger sind jedes Mal Wahnsinn, der Preis ist auch super. Mittlerweile auch Kartenzahlung möglich.

Das kleine Lokal an der Bautzner ist auf Burger spezialisiert. Der Empfang war nett und freundlich und bestellt wird direkt am Counter. Das Menu ist überschaubar und auf das wesentliche reduziert, was was sicherlich Größe der Küche geschuldet ist. Man hat die Möglichkeit zwischen Sandwiches, Burger und Fritten zu wählen. Zudem gibt es eine kleine nette Auswahl an Getränken, so dass hier jeder fündig wird. Im Lokal selbst gibt es ein paar Sitzplätze und im Sommer hat man die Möglichkeit draussen zu verweilen. Die Preise sind für den Burger vollkommen in Ordnung, aber untragbar für die Portion Fritten. Leider musste ich ca. 30 Min warten, obwohl nur eine Bestellung zur Abholung vor mir dran war und dies ist für ein Burger-Lokal schon ein wenig zu viel. Ja, ich habe nett in der Sonne gesessen, aber für einen Burger mit Fritten sollte man nicht länger als 10 Min brauchen. Bestellt habe ich mir einen Classic Boy, welchen ich Medium bestellt und leider durchgebraten bekommen habe. An sich war der Burger dennoch lecker und auch noch saftig, obwohl der Gargrad überschritten war. Leider habe ich nicht wirklich viel vom Fleisch selbst schmecken können, da hie eher die Sauce im Vordergrund stand, was ein wenig schade war. Aber die Rotwein-Zwiebeln und der Salat waren toll und der knusprige Bacon einfach klasse! Leider haben die Fritten den guten Eindruck mehr als schnell wieder zu Nichte gemacht, denn zum einen ist die Portion für 4,50€ einfach nur mager und zum anderen sind diese einfach nicht wirklich lecker, ungesalzen, zu hell und einfach zu dünn. Nachdem ich mir die anderen Rezensionen angeschaut habe, bin ich vielleicht der einzige, welche die Fritten kritisiert.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Wir hatten einen Ghetto Boy, Classic Boy, Fett Boy und Pommes - alles köstlich! Besonders aber der Classic und Fett Boy mit den in Rotwein karamellisierten Zwiebeln und dem Pflaumenketchup.
