We ate at FES as a family with 2 children on the recommendation of friends, it was great, great service, very good recommendation for us with a vegetarian on board, really great. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Berlin

One thing in advance, nothing works without a reservation! It is usually ordered for 2,4,6 or even 8 people. Anyone can then prepare the meat on the grill integrated into the table. There is also bread, salads, wine and much more. The very friendly staff are happy to help if you are overwhelmed by the multitude of offers.

Great idea with grilling at the table and the ingredients

Mezes were not tasty. Especially içli köfte was too dry. There was a bad smell at the Lamb chops.

My business associates and I went here for dinner on Friday evening. We didn’t have a reservation, but they arranged for a table for 2 hours. I wanted to try this place after seeing the photos online, and we were not disappointed. We did the 500gr of meat (beef/lamb/chicken) and added lamb chops. We also had 6 mezes. The food was tasty and of high quality. The seasoning was to be added after the meat was cooked. It is necessary because the meat is cooked with no seasoning. The bread is fresh and was great with the hummus. I really enjoyed the picked peppers. We split a Turkish Crème Brûlée and tea. The staff was excellent and recommended foods for us to try. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Berlin.

Avoid This Place at All If you're looking for a dining experience ruined by disrespectful staff, unprofessional attitudes, and an environment oozing entitlement, this is the place for you. From the moment we walked in, it felt like the staff were doing us a favor by letting us eat there. They were dismissive, rude, and seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than serving customers. When we finally got someone’s attention, they treated our questions about the menu like an inconvenience. The food? Barely passable. For the prices they charge, you’d expect something more than bland, uninspired dishes that look like they were thrown together in a rush. But the real problem here is the people. The staff act like they’re above the customers, and the general atmosphere feels toxic. Even the management seemed completely uninterested in addressing concerns—rolling their eyes when politely approached about an issue. Dining out is supposed to be a pleasant experience, but this place left a sour taste in every possible way. Save your time, money, and dignity and go somewhere else. As you can see from their answers, they continue to be disgraceful and disrespectful. Climbing out the door? Too bad. We should not expect much from people like you who have lost their humanity. The clearest proof of this is the lack of interest in our face. We still see that your business is managed by a handful of disrespectful people. Halwn your food is very bad, service is rude. Don't go!!!

I wouldn't want to give even one star to the service part. It's a worse business than you can imagine. They kicked us out the door just because we arrived two (2) minutes early. My family and I have been tradesmen since 1924. We have never treated any of our customers so rudely and badly. As far as I know, the guest who arrives a little early is kept in a suitable place, offered drinks and ensured that he/she is satisfied. She should not be left waiting at the door with her small child in the cold. This has nothing to do with rules and regulations. It has to do with humanity. Unfortunately, it is a place run by people who have no sense of humanity or good manners. They cannot even come close to Turkish hospitality. They ruined my birthday dinner.

The food was ok. We ordered the menu for 4 people with 6 mezes. The mezes were quite good. The manti was a bit disappointing, however, as they were so small and crispy that you could only taste a bit of crunchy dough. Icli Köfte were a bit too dry, but otherwise tasted quite good. The salad was great. Unfortunately, the meat had no taste at all - marinated meat for grilling would have been good here, or at least a house sauce. They only had a mixture of spices, but it didn't add much to the taste. We opted for the soft drinks instead of Raki. Unfortunately, the soft drinks weren't good because they tasted stale (little carbonated). Which was probably because they were poured from large bottles. Too bad. The flatbread that was served was also just ok. You could tell it wasn't homemade and it was a bit too dry. Fresh bread from the oven would have been desirable. The rice was great and so was the tzatziki and eggplant mezze. The dessert (semolina cake) was rather semi-good (semolina cake tasted more like crumbled Helva), but it's a matter of taste. Service was top. Overall a solid 7/10.

Very tasty BBQ in a trendy atmosphere. Unfortunately it was very cold in the room and the following guests (who arrived 15 minutes early) had to wait outside in the cold. Unfortunately, reservations with two-hour time slots are becoming more and more popular... So we had to end the successful evening here too early.

Both the atmosphere, appetizers and meat are very delicious. The employees are friendly and helpful. We were very pleased with everything we ate and drank.

The staff were exceptional: attentive, friendly and with a real sense of ensuring guests had a great time. The service was simply top – everything ran smoothly and we felt completely comfortable. Many thanks to the team for this wonderful evening! I'll definitely be back and can fully recommend FES - perfect for special occasions or just an evening with fantastic food. 5/5 stars!

Food was very tasty. We had to ask for bread several times; given the prices, we would have expected a little more service. We had booked a menu for 4 people and then only dessert arrived which you had to cut up yourself. It would be better if there were 4 desserts.

We went for my girlfriend's birthday and it was beautiful. They let you in in two parties. Those who have rez done up to 8 and those who have rez done after 8. The concept is nice. We came from Istanbul, those who know us know that it is a place like a jug garden. We paid 95 euros for two people, including our alcohol, which may seem a bit high. It was my girlfriend's birthday. Thanks to the staff, she celebrated our birthday with a candle. Thank you for your attention to her. The food was good. We ate gavurdagi salad, kashar cheese, pastrami, mushrooms, green hummus, chicken and chops. Everything was really good. I'm sure it will be more enjoyable to sit in the garden and cook meat in the summer.

Everything was very good, but with a strange tipping policy

Fes is highly recommended! After having eaten yakiniku a number of times in Japan, I thought it would be fun to try the Turkish version during a weekend away in Berlin. Very nice to have a BBQ at the table again! The service is smooth and very willing to help you with your choice. We went for the set menu, but next time I would order the meat separately and go for less meat, more mezze. Because oh, what delicious mezze is on the menu here! You'll want to try them all!

Very nice atmosphere and courteous service. Food was excellent. We took 500g twice because we weren't sure at the beginning. Even though we announced this, we were charged €35 ​​twice instead of €65 once (for 1000g). I would have expected more empathy.

Mezze plate was outstanding. Meat platter wasn't. Rubbery lamb ribs, nice lamb cutlets, chewy chicken. Tough mince roll. Service was terrific, price was OK.

Definitely worth giving it a try once, especially during the summer when you can sit outside. The mezze dishes are mostly great although some are a bit strange (e.g sushi). The meat is good but a bit more marinate would be preferable. Staff is nice and cars payments are possible

The food was fantastic! Unfortunately, the lamb chops were already sold out at 8 p.m., so I ordered the leg of lamb instead. I also found it a shame that there was no wine list and, apart from grilled vegetables, no vegetarian alternative for the grill. In terms of taste, I found this to be far better than Korean BBQ or Chinese hot pot. I'd love to come back 👌🏼

Extremely good steak, affordable prices with set menus.

It was really a highlight and I can only recommend it. The food was wonderful, seasoned just right and just delicious. What I found most brilliant was grilling directly at the table. The staff was very friendly and helpful. In general it was very comfortable, despite being right on a busy road. All in all it was a great evening and a real insider tip!

A Turkish grill restaurant, focused on fast and smooth service. The many small mezze bowls all fell short of our expectations.

Mezze was very tasty and creative (hummus with basil, spinach starter, Gavurdag salad...), I also know the idea of ​​roasting the meat at the table from Turkey and is really very sociable and a different variant of "fondue" ;-) Very good quality, tender meat! All in all great! And a note to all those making reservations: Guys, if you make a reservation, then come or, to be fair, cancel! Three tables remained free even though the restaurant was fully booked (we got in at short notice via a waiting list). We will definitely come back - if the reservation works out again :-)

I've always wanted to go and now it's finally happened. It's a shame that the second round doesn't start until eight. Of course I can understand that it takes some time between the first and second round, but personally I would have preferred a little earlier - it's just a matter of taste. The service was very quick and friendly. We had a menu for two for a total of €78 and were very full afterwards. I really enjoyed the mezze (three are included in Menu 1). The included salad was good. There was also rice and flatbread, but the rice was a little too raw, but not too bad. Unfortunately I found the meat just mediocre... What a shame! But the dessert (also included) scored even more. That was really good! Likewise the spice that is on the table. All in all a good concept.

The meat is of great quality and the mezze (ingredients) are always fresh and very originally prepared and served. The house-made seasoning mix is ​​very tasty and unique. Unfortunately there wasn't that much left on the last visit, so it couldn't be purchased. We've been there several times now and our friends and acquaintances have been thrilled every time and are still raving about the great Turkish BBQ. We've played indoors and outdoors and both have their own flair. Never try without booking because it is so popular that you won't get anything without booking in advance. But it's worth it ! You can pay in cash or by card. The desserts are large portions, but taste simply amazing. We wish the team continued success so that we can come back for many years to come :).

Average mezze and dips: Unfortunately, the mezze, the selection of small starters, could not convince us. The dips weren't particularly tasty either. No tap water: In times of sustainability and environmental protection, it is a shame that tap water is not offered in the FES Restaurant. Instead, you have to buy expensive still water. Suggestions for improvement: Larger portions: In order to do justice to the price-performance ratio, the portions in the FES restaurant should be slightly larger. Higher quality mezze and dips: The quality of the mezze and dips should be improved to provide guests with an all-round authentic and delicious experience. Offer tap water: It would be welcome if tap water were also offered in the FES restaurant in order to protect both the guests' wallets and the environment. Conclusion: The FES Restaurant in Berlin offers a solid but not outstanding dining experience. Great concept, super friendly staff and natural very fresh and tasty food. I can only recommend fes and is my absolute favorite restaurant in Berlin. Sure it's not very cheap, but it's perfect for special occasions. Always happy!

Sort of a tableside barbecue place. Among the appetizers, zucchini-eggplant paste and tzatziki are not bad, but hummus, spicy paste, heroin (atomic) varieties cannot be compared to the flavors in Turkey. There was no cutlet among the meat varieties. Your only option for raki is Yeni Raki. Gavur Mountain salad tastes almost perfect. The service is a little late. I think the number of staff is low. Prices are high.

Perfect dinner for me. Staff is competent, helps you if you have doubt about meat cooking times, the meat is juicy and tender, the environment is interesting with this mix between an industrial building and traditional Turkish. The barbecue experience is fun and food delectable. The meze choice is ample and shame with the menu you can pick only 3 with the menu for 2 (but it’s more than enough to get full!!!). I would have wanted to try them all. The menu for 2 people includes a drink (beer, raki, water or soft drink), 3 meze of your choice, a tray with chicken thighs, chicken breast, lamb (so goooood!), and beef, a very refreshing salad, rice, and bread with refills. In addition a desert to share. Mum and I had the baklava with ice cream but was a huge portion (and very good!). Tea at the end of the meal on the house, little nice gesture. I love this place and will come back soon. It’s probably even more fun with a bigger group. the bread is high and soft, grill it too so it becomes crunchy! So much love for this new discovery. I think the price for the menu is totally fair for the quality and service. You can also pick and mix meze for different prices according to how many you order if you are vegetarian or don’t love meat. Thank you to the guy with the curls and ponytail who served us for the care and professionalism.

Great food for a reasonable price, and the staff was very friendly. We had 3 mezze dishes and a mixed grill with a salad, which was more than enough (for 2). I very much liked the wine as well and the yoghurt we ordered on the side was amazing. The bread could be a little bit better though.

All great, but you have to note that the beef is not Halal. Price performance is okay and service and ambience are great. Mezze was super tasty and the quality of the meat was also very high.

Looking for some marvelous Turkish food and a nice atmosphere? Then this is the right place. I have been here on multiple occasions, when I have stayed in Berlin and always been reciprocated with positivity. There is a waiter, he wore tattoos and looked as if he was in his twenty’s. He is extremely kind, which was one of the reasons my friend and I left the restaurant with a smile on our faces after the wonderful service we had been given. The food is phenomenal, and it is a perfect choice if you want to enjoy some spectacular Turkish BBQ. Make sure to stop by!!

Super friendly service, from all the guys, especially Enes (hope the name is right). We made a reservation at short notice and everything went well. The portions are enough, the atmosphere is good, and the “grill your own” presentation is also great. A bit pricey but it was worth it for us. The desserts are especially worth trying!

Unfortunately we have to share a disappointing experience. We came with great expectations, but were very disappointed. We ordered meze, rice and additional bread with our meat, but none of it was served, so we had to wait a long time. Nothing seemed to fit that evening. We're unsure if the restaurant was understaffed or what else was going on. The waiter wasn't particularly friendly either. Overall, we were there in a large group, but none of us were happy. This is a real shame and we are unsure if we will come back.

My absolute favorite restaurant!!!!! The food is to die for, the atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly. For me the price is absolutely reasonable and if you reserve early enough you can get a table - so I can't join the others! I look forward to coming to you every time. Until next time :D

The chicken we ordered isn't bad, but unfortunately the lamb skewers weren't filling. The starters were good but the portions were very small and the bread could have been fresher. In summer the garden can be delightful. The staff was very polite, but the food didn't make me very happy. I'll try again.

That was the absolute highlight of my visit to Berlin. I love good (!) Turkish restaurants anyway. This is now at the top. Because of the grills that are built into all the tables. Because of the first-class products that you grill yourself there. I prepared wonderfully pink grilled lamb fillet. There are also incredibly great mezzes. A wonderful evening!

Hey everyone, the food is very tasty. The Turkish tapas aka mezze are especially incredible. Overall 5/5. The meat could only have been cut a little better, a few pieces were like pyramids, which are difficult to grill.

The staff is warm, attentive and very friendly. You immediately feel welcomed and warmly received in a cozy atmosphere. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit if you are in Berlin. Tip: reserve far enough in advance.

Our visit to FES was culinary unforgettable. We had the menu for 4 people (grill platter, 6 mezzes and four drinks each). Grill restaurants often have a similar basic taste that runs through the dishes. At FES, however, the flavors harmonize and complement each other perfectly - the acidity of the salads with the partial sweetness of the mezze and the fat/umami of the meat. By the way, the meat was high quality and incredibly tender. Portion sizes are very generous (we all brought quite an appetite). The only thing you should keep in mind: if you arrive 30 minutes before your reservation, there will be no way to take a seat despite the free tables. However, there are many alternatives on the street to drink an aperitivo while waiting for the reservation. The service is otherwise courteous and friendly. I'll definitely come back.

The food was absolutely delicious, but there's room for enhancement in the service and ambiance aspects. The owner asked google to remove my review. I understand now why this place is extremely overrated!
