Delicious food, big menu, great prices.

The kebab was quite tasty, although I liked it better before March. The meat is not the same... The service in the restaurant was not good. Men seem to be treated better there than women. Unfortunately I didn't feel welcome.

**** CAUTION ***** The store advertised a "grand opening offer" at the beginning of March, even though it's been open for several years. Unfortunately, I didn't read the reviews until I got home and was taken in by the store :-( I ordered a Dürüm, which was almost unbeatable given its tiny size. The meat wasn't cooked through. The same goes for the bread. The service/friendliness was also abysmal considering they'd just opened and they're usually trying to win customers :))) Repeat order: exactly 0.0%!!! What a waste of money...

We had dinner today and we loved it. We had a Karisik grill plate for 4 people. The price for the large amount of meat was insane. We are amazed at the size of the restaurant and the cleanliness. Thanks to the staff and the free food, which was so delicious. Thank you

Re-opening March 2025 - apparently new operators. Halloumi kebab didn't taste good at all, iceberg lettuce and a bit of tomato, boring sauce, everything was very dry. Purchased flatbread. It's a shame, I was a regular guest, but unfortunately that's nothing anymore

Old management team bread was made in-house. Now its basic like every other shop, but more expensive and less friendly. The 4€ special offer döner is barely half of its original size before new management. Sad to see this local gem turn into what’s already on every corner in this city. The new operators are a disaster. Everything is extremely dirty, there are cigarette butts lying around outside everywhere, it tastes bad and is disgusting. The prices are a joke. The kebab plate in the picture costs €12.5.

First visit. There was no dürüm. And when I ordered kebab with cheese there was no cheese either. Unfortunately, there is no friendly staff either, as is usually the case in Turkish restaurants. Well, there are plenty of other GOOD kebabs right next door

It changed hands and I think it was perfect. The taste of the food and the sweetness of the lady who took care of us were amazing. They served revani and tea as a treat after the meal, which is something we are not used to in Turkish restaurants :) thank you for this nice hosting.

The best kebab shop in Berlin. Bread is baked in-house and is just amazing and so is everything else. Plus super nice staff. We would like to have many more kebab dates here :) - that was the review for the old management (5 stars) New management: Dürüm bread not warmed up, not a nice atmosphere and the quality doesn't come close to the old one. Unfortunately no longer recommended.

After 40 minutes in line with 5 other customers in front of me, I still hadn't been served. This is a bottomless impudence. The staff is visibly overwhelmed! The waitress continually made a face like it was 7 days of rainy weather. Absolutely not recommended at all!!! Communication and apology = zero Guys, save your time and treat yourself to your food somewhere else.

Unfortunately, the new management is quite a downgrade, the store no longer compares to the previous quality. The bread was soggy, the sauce tasted almost nothing like anything, vegetarian options were virtually non-existent (no haloumi, no falafel, no idea if that was standard or both were just sold out, we were offered a pure Dürüm salad as an alternative). What a shame, that used to be our favorite kebab!

Edit-Feb 25 The owner and management had changed and the food , portion sizes are not good anymore. The staff tried their best by explaining but the quality has reduced. The sauces are in house and pack a punch. The quantity is great, serves the price with the quality they serve.

200 ml lukewarm tap water for 2€ very and bad service with an annoyed employee

The food was good, but the service was terrible.

Our regular kebab shop... ... we eat there almost regularly, we have a dürim and/or kebab at least twice a month. We had to deal with several mishaps but we were even happier that the shop was open again - we always recommended it. Today's experience has changed that significantly. The skewer, which was a wonderful layered meat back then, is now a fully processed minced meat skewer. Dry, overly seasoned and tasting like Maggi - we were very disappointed. The sauces changed, instead of using a ladle from a nice container, they now use pressure tubes. I don't like to say it, but unfortunately it's so drastic that you can now read your gaze circling around. Gross loss of quality and taste!

I was here because I happened to be nearby and wanted to eat kebab. Rating of 4.7, layered meat and homemade bread were advertised here. Unfortunately there is only normal hack döner here. The kebab bread is very tasty and homemade. But the sweet ones don't taste like anything. I give it 3 stars for the bread, the fresh vegetables and the cozy atmosphere. But meat and sauces are unfortunately really not recommended

I like that they call themselves a Turkish restaurant. Dönerbude wouldn't do it justice. We've been coming here again and again since it opened. Doner meat is very tasty - and it is enjoyed. Homemade bread and you can taste it. Ayran is tapped. Costs a little more but is worth it.

Food was okay, but the service was really subpar. 2 of the drinks we ordered could not be served because they were out. In addition, the service person was incompetent and forgetful and after 5 minutes didn't even know who had ordered what. In addition, it was allegedly not possible to get a clear invoice. Everything was just written down on paper with a pen. Unprofessional. In the end also very unfriendly without a reunion or anything like that. It was the last time for us! Not a standard minced meat kebab. Homemade bread. Add a little salt to the meat and then the kebab will be good.

Even 1 star is too much. The only thing we liked were the fries. You really can't eat the rest. Nobody was happy, the doner meat doesn't taste anything like kalp, who knows what that is. Beyti was simply demolished with the cheese, everything smelled bad and was inedible never again. Definitely do not recommend it

Finally a good kebab on Antonplatz. Bread is great, probably homemade. Salad nice and fresh and chopped into small pieces, meat crispy and very seasoned. The hot sauce could be a little hotter for my taste, but it all works together!

It was a very bad experience. It smelled like Lahmacun. We couldn't eat it and left it as it was. We couldn't cut through Adana, it was so difficult. Plus they were all very tasteless.

There are Turkish restaurants far and wide in the area. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has declined recently. Especially with the Mezes. In the past, I only came to eat Acili Antep Ezmesi because it was thick and delicious. But unfortunately it's just too watery at the moment.

Very great restaurant with friendly and attentive service. From the outside you can't see how nice the ambience is to sit inside. There is always free Çay and freshly baked bread and the food is very tasty and served in a visually appealing way.

What can you say really good kebab with fresh salad and, above all, fresh bread baked on site. The staff are consistently friendly and the dining room is clean and inviting. Keep it up!

So far the tastiest Turkish food i had in Berlin. May be it’s the peaceful vibes of this place but it’s my go-to place for dine out now. Food is bit expensive but i guess the taste and service justifies the price. Their complimentary ballon bread is the best.

A visit here was recommended to me. So I paid the boys there a visit. The kebab was really one of the best things I've eaten so far. The only negative point, which you can get over, is the quite a lot of fat that comes out of the meat (real meat, by the way!!!). The taste is absolutely amazing! Thumbs up! There are also lots of seating options there!

I was here for the first time today and bought 2 kebabs with herb sauce. We warmed the kebabs again at home in the oven made our dinner, so to speak. The kebab skewer is made from layered kebab meat and not from "minced meat". The kebab bread is also homemade and very tasty. The kebab is the best kebab we have eaten in a long time have. We would love to come back and thank you for the great stay Quality.

For us it just means we meet at our favorite kebab! Meat quality is awesome. I'm always happy with the XXL kebab for currently 8 euros. Not to mention, the boys make their own bread.

I always passed it by because I thought “another kebab shop”. But to wait you get tea first, the people are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. The cuisine is very traditional.

I'm judging here on the basis of a Yaprak kebab, a comparison with a minced skewer doesn't make sense. The restaurant looks chic and you can also sit outside in the sun on the busy Berliner Allee, that's what I did. The fact that a little boy vomited on the neighboring table a short time later is not the operator's responsibility. It was a passerby. But the great service staff immediately remedied it. Thanks for that! To eat. I had a kebab plate for €12.50. The meat is okay. Overall quite greasy and no particular flavor. It could have been chicken, but it looked like veal. The fries were nice and crispy and the salad was fresh and tasty. However, all of this is not enough for me to visit the store again. In addition, the quality of the meat is not right for me. And somehow I think 12.50 is too expensive for what you do. There was also chai. It was another €1.50 extra. Elsewhere you can just get something like that. The service is very nice and attentive. In my case it was the young lady who obviously wasn't from Turkey. Thank you for the attentive service! In short. Just too weak for a Yaprak. The weakest I've tried so far in Berlin. Maybe something else is happening. Otherwise, the only option is to go to Neukölln or Wedding for truly remarkable Yaprak kebab.

The best Turkish food in town! The atmosphere is very nice and the employees are always friendly. We love being here often and are happy that after being closed for so long, it has been open again for a few months!☺️

I am happy to give you a review about the Öz Urfa store in Berlin. We recently ordered a grill platter for 5 people and I would like to praise the waiter Ali for his outstanding hospitality, sympathy and humor. Ali was extremely attentive and made us feel welcome from the start. He always had a smile on his face and was very friendly to us. His positive charisma and warm personality helped make our dinner an unforgettable experience. In addition to his hospitality, Ali was also very personable. He was always willing to answer our questions and help us choose dishes. His recommendations were excellent and demonstrated his expertise and passion for the store's cuisine. What particularly impressed me was Ali's humor. He was able to create a relaxed and happy atmosphere which made the evening even more enjoyable. His funny comments and jokes brought many laughs and made the visit an entertaining experience. Overall, our visit to the Öz Urfa store was a complete success thanks to Ali. His hospitality, sympathy and humor made a significant contribution to making us feel comfortable and enjoy the meal. I can highly recommend the shop and especially Ali as a waiter.

I like to eat Lahmacun, Kasarli Pide, Yogurtlu Adana Kebap, fresh bread from the oven, and various delicious homemade Turkish dishes here. I like the relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant and my family and I are always treated well as guests.

The meat for the kebab is really top. With lamb. The bread is a welcome change and delicious. Unfortunately it's a bit inconvenient to eat as the kebab falls apart quickly. An elongated shape would make more sense here. The sauces cost one star, there is a lot of room for improvement here, unfortunately. The friendliness is honest. Unfortunately, the BigDöner is lighter than the normal Döner. That should not happen. Adjust the bread shape and sauces to get six stars.

Unfortunately, in most cases the kebab is very greasy and is literally dripping with fat.

I went there during vacation based on the reviews. The Lahmacun is really delicious, freshly made in the oven and super cheap. Definitely a recommendation as a starter. The kebab was also good, the homemade bread and the good layered meat on the skewer are also praiseworthy. The only small negative point is that the sauce or the meat could have been seasoned a little more. However, I didn't choose any hot sauce, so maybe that was the reason.

This is a level of Turkish/Kurdish food that I haven’t found north of the Spree (or even outside of Turkey). Helpings are very generous, and food is delicious, and they make you feel like family when you eat in. Make sure you try the home baked bread for your kebab!

So, the kebab shop is just amazing! As soon as I walk in, I'm surrounded by the irresistible smell of grilled meat and fresh herbs. The waiters are always super friendly and make you feel at home. The kebab itself is a poem: juicy meat, crunchy vegetables, and the perfect amount of sauce, wrapped in warm flatbread. One bite of this and I feel like I'm in kebab heaven! No wonder I stop by here regularly - definitely the best kebab shop in Berlin!

Unfortunately it hasn't been as it used to since the new owners. There is far too little content in the roll and the sauce is used homeopathically or perhaps diluted with water? Otherwise I can't explain why it tastes like NOTHING anymore except raw food...

In my opinion the best kebab in all of East Berlin. Super aromatic layered meat, freshly baked bread, refined with sesame. The grilled dishes are also amazing. You no longer have to go to Kreuzberg for authentic Turkish/Kurdish home cooking. 👍

Really good kebab, by far the best in Weißensee. The meat and sauces are very tasty and the bread is simply next level.

Touchably delicious stuffed eggplant, everything was nice and clean and tidy and everyone was very accommodating and hospitable. Definitely a must go.

Update on March 1st, 2024: My second visit was a complete disaster. My kebab was full of hard and gristly spots. Whether it was because I was there very early and they had cut off the first crust for me (most of which is actually thrown away in other kebab shops because it is dry and too gristly - you can't chew the pieces, they are so hard and dry ), the waiter didn't want or couldn't tell me. But I confronted him about it (I presented the unchewable pieces on the plate), but unfortunately I received a blank look and not even an apology. He did talk to his colleague behind the kebab skewer and deducted about 2 euros from my order, but since I hadn't even eaten half of the kebab, I thought that was already thirty - because the entire kebab had these dry spots or he was completely dry. I was only able to swallow a few after chewing for a long time - I always thought it would get better. Conversely, if I were him, I would have asked if I would like a new one (which he didn't ask) and since I had lost my appetite for getting gristly and dry - unchewable crusts out of my mouth - I would have the "invitation" for one The new kebab was rejected, but at least the question would have been more than justified and would have shown that they are self-critical. Now I've paid 8 euros (he said he's just deducting half of it from me - it seemed more like he had to) for an extra plate of rice with herb sauce and an inedible kebab. 8 euro? So a plate of rice there costs 8 euros? Never true. It would have been fair to apologize and therefore not take a hit - or at least to say that you are sorry. Well, everyone has their own experiences - but I no longer take that risk there and although I visit more distant kebab shops, I at least know that they want to offer their customers the highest quality and take their customers seriously. It's a shame, otherwise I thought it was great as described below on my first visit - this time it was an absolute mega-flop - and could have been sorted out so easily - at least with an apology. Rating has therefore dropped from 5 to 1 - and I have to say that a third chance was too unfriendly for me and the quality was a disaster - so it's a waste of money for me to take such a risk again. ***old review*** Top recommendation. Today was the first time at ÖZ URFA, which has just reopened. The balloons are still hanging outside. A bit inconspicuous from the outside (the inside is very nicely decorated in Turkish inn style) and unfortunately it wasn't clear to me (since there weren't any big clues - or I was too blind?) that the kebab skewer is 100% veal made from layered meat (i.e. a real Yaprak). Doner kebab, which is also prepared in-house) and fresh home-baked bread. Guys - what can I say: It was only then that I noticed how amazingly fresh the bread was and that it was homemade and the kebab was simply an absolute delight. Unbelievable, I thought. I've been living "nearby" for so long now (well, the shop was closed for a while), but since there are so few good kebabs in the Prenzlauer Berg/Weissensee area, I wasn't expecting anything when I went in there. Soooo delicious. Definitely: My new regular kebab “around the corner”. Absolute recommendation if you are in the area. ÖZ URFA definitely gets 5 out of 5 stars from me (the courteous service as well as the kebab master and the boss were also very friendly!) - on a scale compared to other top kebabs in Berlin, a very good 8.5 out of 10 points PS: I was so hungry that I forgot to take photos - next time I visit ;)

I specifically asked him whether the cut kebab meat that was already on the shelf was still warm like what he had just cut off the rotary spit. He says "Yes"! But it was already cold and dried out!! That's just not possible when you go to the store for a kebab and there's already cut-off meat there!! And then mix the freshly cut meat with the old meat so that hopefully you won't notice anything! :( I'm really disappointed, especially because the competition on the corner is very high. I think the shop is designed for visitors who eat on site like kebab plates etc. But he's not for the takeaway snack...
