The beer is great. The atmosphere is authentic. But sorry, the food is subpar Had the Schäufele with potatoes and sauerkraut The meat was dry, no sauce, the sauerkraut wasn't seasoned, even the potatoes weren't tasty. My girlfriend had the red sausage and fried potatoes and onions. Which doesn't really qualify as a feast for the palate. Unfortunately for us it was a disappointment in terms of food

Atmosphere and friendly waiters, good beer, some games for the children, but the food is uninteresting. Overcooked children's spatzles and tasteless sauces, dishes for adults better. At least it's not too expensive.

A great place to enjoy a delicious house brew in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The menu is manageable, but there's something for everyone. The beer is really very good and served with style.

Simply the best beer in town! My husband prefers to drink light hefeweizen, which was reminiscent of the outstanding tasting “helle”. Everything also in 0.3 l jars. What we didn't pay attention to, but still appreciate: Since 1999, Feierling's beer specialties have been produced using the “slow brewing process” exclusively from organically certified raw materials. We made it here “off-peak” 3 times. Otherwise mostly “packed”. There was always a lot of staff available, who were always courteous. Good Baden food. We were thrilled with the fried Maultaschen with salad (€13.50) and the cream schnitzel with homemade spaetzle (€14.80) Once - due to the weather - we even made it into the beer garden, which fortunately opened spontaneously. Simply a blast!

Always full no matter whether lunch or evening. Tasty home brew. The round counter that people crowd around and nice service, fresh and sumptuous food. Always my pleasure.

First time in Freiburg and wasn’t sure where to go for dinner but stumbled across Feierling. Great beer and loved the local fare. Waitress was incredibly helpful and wonderful service. Glass was never empty for long. Very busy and obviously popular with locals.

Siamo stati in questo birrificio perché volevamo cenare in un ambiente tipico tedesco con piatti locali e siamo rimasti pienamente soddisfatti. L'ambiente è piuttosto caotico, ma d'altronde come ci si aspetta da questo tipo di locale. Abbiamo trascorso una piacevolissima serata, il personale è stato gentile, disponibile e simpatico e, nonostante il pienone, l'ordinazione è stata presa velocemente ed anche i piatti ci sono stati portati in tempi contenuti. Abbiamo cenato con due differenti piatti di bratwurst, entrambi molto buoni. Mi sento di consigliare pienamente una tappa in questa birreria, ne vale la pena!

We were here for food & drinks. The ambience is great, especially if you like “brewery”. Unfortunately, our food was simply not good. Paths fried potatoes, not good spaghetti, tough/dry cream schnitzel. The salads were delicious. In addition to a very confused waiter, our feedback was also rather unwanted in the end. Instead of reacting to it confidently, people became upset about it. Therefore, unfortunately the evening is not worth more than one star.

The Brauhaus Feierling in Freiburg is a real highlight! The home-brewed beer is simply delicious – fresh, drinkable and with a great taste. The Kasseler was particularly impressive, wonderfully tender and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere is cozy and typical of a brewery, and the service was super friendly and attentive. If you are in Freiburg, you should definitely stop by here – absolutely recommended!

So after the reservation that had been made for a long time didn't work out as expected, the waiter was totally unfriendly, there are only 4 alcoholic (not a single cocktail) waiters in their mid-50s with glasses, really totally unfriendly, no sympathy at all!! Never come here again. He treated my daughter particularly unkindly (no one knows why?)

In short - unfriendly and unwelcoming staff. We actually arrived for dinner just after 5pm on a Monday. We wanted to sit at a free, non-reserved table. The waitress said quite rudely that that wasn't possible and sent us to a low "cat table" where we sat very strangely and uncomfortably. We therefore politely asked for another table, but the server rudely refused. We then left without consuming anything. Actually 0 stars for the unfriendly staff, but a very nice atmosphere, hence 2 stars.

Came in here for the second time on Weds 15/01 - this time only stopped for a drink, and in my opinion, this brewery does the best beer in Freiburg (possibly even Germany!)... 2 years ago did have food here too, I remember it being good and tasty... Highly recommend, especially for the beers!

Modern place dated from the 90s, big disappointment with the food, the munster potatoes didn't have much taste and the spatzle with pork was tasteless, the cream sauce was very liquid. The beer wasn't bad but there was a lot of yeast deposits in the glass.

Having traveled there from Italy, I felt offended at having tasted a supposedly normal "coffee", which turned out to be dirty water. Furthermore, I tasted a salad passed off as not being a salad.

We have been coming to Feierling for years. This place offers quality beers and food. This year we are disappointed because knowing the place was full we had made our arrangements and booked in advance. Unfortunately, this reservation was not confirmed by the teams on site and we received a very poor welcome and were even turned away from the restaurant. ..we will of course be back, but be sure to respect those who make the effort to book online. Why else offer such a service? Thank you.

Completely unacceptable, disrespectful behavior from the female service staff. Please note: reservations cannot be made over the phone. "Come over. If you're lucky...". My companion and I arrive on site at 7:45 p.m. Table free. Right now. Reservation sign says 6:00 p.m. Very good. But then... The waitress insulted us loudly (!) about what we could think of to just sit down. (!) I'm traveling internationally and I think I can behave myself. That's why I can say: I'm not used to something like that. What's more, this behavior corresponds to all proportionality and manners. I urgently recommend personal measures to the management. I therefore expressly recommend not visiting the brewery.

A must if you visit Freiburg. Best beer in Freiburg. The food good. Was there on a Monday (!) when the restaurant was completely full. During the evening, beer brewing took place where wort was boiled so that it steamed and smelled of malt and hops throughout the restaurant. Only one kind of beer was served on tap, but that's enough because it's top class.

We sat on the ground floor, a very cozy atmosphere.The Inselhopfbier is very good. The waitress, Mara, was polite and funny. We'd love to come back.

Quite tight and very warm It was almost fully booked on a Tuesday evening. Personally, I don't like it when it's that tight. But that is my personal feeling. Super nice service behind the counter and she was on her toes.

A very nice brewery restaurant. Everyone in our group really enjoyed the house beer. The service staff were all friendly and very quick. When it comes to eating, the portions could be a little larger. Basically it's always a matter of opinion, but that was the opinion of our large group. Unfortunately, there are currently only toilets on the 1st floor in the main building. All in all, the restaurant is recommended.

The beer is still Freiburg's best. However, the portion sizes left a lot to be desired, so we had to order a second meal to fill ourselves up.

Unfortunately I can't say much other than that the beer is A1 and non-beer drinkers can also try it. The cream sauce is also super tasty, but I only ate it that way and can't say anything about the other food other than that it at least looked delicious. The ambience is great, almost looks like a steampunk style.

The Feierling brewery is a true gem. Overall, the restaurant impresses with an excellently brewed, regional beer that always impresses tourists. An absolute insider tip for everyone who wants to visit Freiburg. The atmosphere in the brewery itself also contributes to the special experience. Be it the cauldrons in the middle of the building or the cozy beer garden under the chestnut trees to enjoy a freshly tapped beer in the sun. The relaxed Freiburg atmosphere won't let you go here.

Can't really say much about this place because you definitely need to make a reservation before you go. But we walked in and tried finding a seat, and all the empty tables were reserved, which was our mistake for not getting a reservation. Trying to talk to the staff to find a seat was a nightmare they would look at us and walk away. Hopefully, we can try again when we make reservations. If you plan on going in the afternoon on a Saturday, MAKE RESERVATIONS .

Unfortunately nothing special. The portions are small, as is the selection of dishes. There is only one beer on the menu. A hearty brewery kitchen is missing.

Se trata sobre todo de fantástica cerveza Feierling (la clara, rubia es la mejor) y un lugar muy ruidoso, pero la comida es buena también. Conseguir una mesa un fin de semana para cenar es cuestión de suerte. El personal es amable y habla inglés con fluidez. Tardaron en explicarnos el menú aunque pudimos ver que estaban súper ocupados. Los platos principales tienen un montón de opciones de cerdo (casi ningún pollo) - el schnitzel era sabroso. La ubicación tiene 3 plantas, y hay otro bar al lado que dirigen. Bueno para una experiencia alemana llena de diversión, típicamente borracha.

We were visiting Freiburg and tried this brewery on a recommendation because we were told that the beer there was particularly good. The place looks really nice, but it was very noisy, which made the stay a bit uncomfortable. But the service was very quick and friendly. I ordered a steak that was supposed to be medium, but unfortunately it was quite dry and didn't taste really good. Therefore, unfortunately I cannot recommend the steak. About the beer: It was okay, but I personally think it's a bit overrated. There are many other varieties that I like better. But of course that is a matter of taste. Overall the visit was okay, but to be honest I was hoping for a little more.
