A fantastic restaurant that I highly recommend. We received a wonderful welcome and were served very friendly throughout our entire stay. The food was delicious, and the location is also ideal for a stroll afterward. :-)

Very nice service and the schnitzel was tasty

Super friendly service, who didn't turn us away despite our private party. The food was delicious. The location is quite lovely. On the Main River, on the Main Cycle Path, far from busy streets in a cul-de-sac at the end of tram line 11. The restaurant is a real gem.

We stopped by for dinner. They have a lovely terrace and a cozy dining room. The water we ordered was just the right temperature, very pleasant. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. It won't be our last visit. By the way, it's very easily accessible by public transport.

I was at the Boathouse today with my three-year-old son and was impressed by the cheerful atmosphere of the staff and their friendliness, especially towards the little one. You don't find that everywhere. The food was prepared quickly and was delicious. Very positive!

I cycled there along the Main River and was a real find: a great restaurant, very, very good food (the brawn with fried potatoes was fantastic), and a really friendly young woman serving. Highly recommended!

Very nice ambiance. Service was very friendly and attentive. The schnitzel was average, the fries were very dry and unfortunately I didn't like them. Both were lightly seasoned, with a little salt added.

Great location, great cuisine, great team - have been there several times now and have never been disappointed.

Long waiting time for drinks and orders. Cordon Bleu little/no cheese and looked more like something from the deep fryer,... the meatloaf burnt and dry (more like a hamburger paddy),... the fried potatoes lukewarm and beyond fried or seasoned,... that's what the fresh cress can do also not improve. Service friendly but not the fastest. Conclusion: possibly only suitable for coffee and cake if you have a lot of time.

I had the pleasure of dining at this charming restaurant recently and I can say that the food was simply outstanding! Every bite was enjoyable, although I must note that it was a bit too salty for my taste (related to the mushroom sauce). Nevertheless, this did not diminish the overall impression. The waitress (female) was a little old-fashioned, but still very friendly. There were some humorous conversations, especially with my companion, which lightened the atmosphere. You can tell that the staff always strives to provide guests with a pleasant experience. The restaurant's decoration could also be described as dated, but it was extremely well maintained and added to the nostalgic ship charm. All in all, it was a wonderful evening and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food and a welcoming ambience!

We (my family and I) reserved a table for 4 people in this restaurant on Christmas Day 2024 to eat comfortably because the menu sounded very promising. However, we had barely arrived when we were informed that there was "only half the menu available today". So the previous search for dishes via the website turned out to be invalid. You could have simply mentioned this briefly when making the reservation by telephone. However, our visit would most likely have been canceled due to the unavailability of our preferred dishes. After everyone had finally chosen a different dish, it was time to wait. And wait. And wait. We waited about an hour for our overpriced meal, which of course had an impact on the mood and we certainly noticed. As we all know, you go out to eat to have a good time and eat something delicious and not have an appetite for a kebab afterwards. Well, after an hour we were told that “our food would be coming soon”. We just thought that we would probably stay, even though we were about to leave because we had never felt so close to starvation. Eventually the food arrived and although it was visually very appealing, the quantity was a bad joke considering the price and how hungry we were. I counted a total of 12 “homemade basil gnocchi” on my plate (as can be seen in the picture). I really understand something different under the category “Rischdish’ Eat”. So when you get 12 gnocchi for €16.90, yes exactly €16.90, I get a little angry. It's not about the taste either, because the food itself tasted really good, but that's really a disgrace. I really don't know which crook set these prices but that's 2 whole pizzas or almost 3 kebabs that you get for it. So I ate my 12 gnocchi comfortably within 2 minutes and then got the kebab in question. My mother's "Grilled Goat Cheese" (salad) for €16.50 was also just laughable. The restaurant is not a star restaurant. When we asked our waitress whether we were satisfied, we told them that it "could have been a little more". The nice lady then offered us the dessert menu to squeeze a few more 10s out of us, because the “cheese cake” costs €6.90 each. The cheesecake was right at our table in a chilled glass display case, which prompted me to count the pieces. The whole cake with 14 pieces is worth a total of €96.60. We rejected the card with a bit of a giggle and left. Conclusion: “Let’s not do it again”

Had dinner there for Christmas, but it didn't convince me. Despite the Christmas menu with a few dishes, the waiting time was very long. The taste was okay, but for the price it wasn't enough to make me want to repeat it. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Great food in a great atmosphere

Simple but good. There were only no vegetables for the meal.

Totally delicious Frankfurt food, great quality. We can recommend the cordon bleu and the goat cheese salad. Totally nice service and a nice ambience in a maritime style. We'd love to come back!

In addition to the delicious food, what always stands out is the hospitality, friendliness and flexibility. Don't miss the schnitzel, the Frankfurt green sauce, the aioli with baguette garlic bread and the cakes with coffee. Thank you for continuing to serve delicious, top quality German cuisine.

Service above all... something like this has never happened to us before. We sat down at a table that hadn't been cleared yet. After 10 minutes I politely asked if they could perhaps clear the table. She complained to me that she knew how to do her job! Unfortunately, this TONE cannot be reproduced in writing. I looked at her and said, don't thank me like that and we left. The atmosphere is really nice there, but the service is not good at all!

We had Frankfurter Schnitzel with fried potatoes. It was okay. But everything wasn't particularly tasteful. Green sauce works better too. Fish & Chips: Dry, tasteless, even the salsa and the homemade tartar sauce didn't improve it. We are disappointed with the food at these prices. Especially for fish & chips, 20 EUR is exorbitant because it is too poorly prepared. In our opinion, the previous 4.5 stars can only refer to the ambience and service. Service and ambience very good.

Yesterday, Sunday, August 25th, 2024, we visited the Bootshaus Restaurant Fechenheim. We followed a recommendation from Feinschmecker Magazin Frankfurt from 2024. The restaurant is very well located, it has a nice garden area to sit in and you can have a nice view of the Main. The waitresses are competent and friendly. The drinks are well chilled and of good quality. I can particularly recommend the 🍎 apple spritzer, as well as the apple wine from my companion. The hand cheese starter was well seasoned and the farmer's bread served with it was toasted. For the main course we chose the freshly offered chanterelle schnitzel. Both schnitzels were excellently fried in the pan. The sauce was served separately. My fried potatoes were delicious 😋 but I would like to not have black onions in the fried potatoes next time. The chanterelle cream sauce tasted good, but was a bit too creamy for me. I have a suggestion for the chef here. It's better to fry the chanterelles fresh and add them to the schnitzel with onions and fresh herbs, add the cream sauce and refine it with a little demiglace. But please, that's just my taste perception? The food is really good 👍 and delicious!!! The salad is also fresh and served with a 😋 delicious vinegar oil herb dressing. We can highly recommend the restaurant in the Bootshaus Fechenheim for a trip! The fifth star will be added next time the fried potatoes are served with well-browned onions and not black onions! Then it's perfect! Last note you can take the tram 11 Schießhüttenstrasse Fechenheim 7 to 10 m. In front of the restaurant and also back directly from Frankfurt am Main main station. So you can enjoy the culinary weekend with a nice glass of beer 🍺 or Äppler. We will come back and give a good recommendation for all guests who would like to visit the restaurant in the Bootshaus Fechenheim!

Draußen super gemütlich und ein paar Parkplätze dahinter. Die Frau im Service war einfach mega symphatisch und hat gute Laune verbreitet. Essen fanden wir auch top - einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag: anderes Brot zum Handkäs. Das war leider so ein trockenes, eingetütetes Brot aus dem Supermarkt, was definitiv auch durch ein zugekauftes frisches Bäckerbrot zu ersetzen wäre.

Super cozy outside and a few parking spaces behind it. The woman in service was just super friendly and put everyone in a good mood. We also thought the food was great - the only suggestion for improvement: different bread for the hand cheese. Unfortunately, it was dry, bagged bread from the supermarket, which could definitely be replaced with fresh bread bought from a bakery.

After a summer day in the garden pool, we spontaneously looked for a restaurant nearby and found the Fechemer boathouse - it was a stroke of luck! The atmosphere there is - for me - beautiful. You sit comfortably with a view of the water, which gives the whole visit a wonderful flair, a beer garden feel, but more elegant. The service was super friendly and personable, we felt welcome and were treated like regulars (if that were always like that in restaurants!! That would be nice). The other guests were also pleasant. The Fechem boathouse is also ideal for families with children, as there is a playground just around the corner. This meant the little ones could let off steam while we enjoyed the delicious food. All in all, a thoroughly successful evening. It's clear that we'll be checking in regularly now!! Thank you for the lovely evening!!!!!!

Difficult. This post has been deleted. The map never feels like it changes. The food is delicious, but very, very convenient, even the tarte flambée! Fried potatoes are not available in crispy form, even if you specifically request them. !!! Info from the boss: that doesn't work at all because the cook uses butter. ...and then it got personal. ....Hui... My recommendation: if the cook can't do that, for whatever reason, you shouldn't write the "roast" with the potatoes on the menu, or read a cookbook. Nevertheless, it's a nice place to sit and that's why I keep going there.

So I was very disappointed and had expected more after the “Cooking Stories” report in HR. Apart from hand cheese and semolina sauce, no typical dishes. I had a cordon bleu with spaetzle (what a combination?????), cranberries, no sauce, no side salad and that €20.90, very disappointing (salad extra 5.90 ☹️), the Hankäs had a white core inside, so it wasn't ripe. I'm from Hamburg and was so impressed by the TV report that I definitely wanted to visit it when I was back in Ffm, unfortunately it was a flop 👎.

For this location, the price range and the surrounding area, this has become a really great restaurant where you can enjoy something simple and tasty in the evening.

Hosted a family celebration for 30 people there. Agreements in advance were excellent, advice was also implemented with a lot of experience. The service was always friendly and the food was delicious. Family atmosphere and yet absolutely professional. The guests felt comfortable, I would be happy to recommend the boathouse!

The prices are moderately high, but on average they correspond to the prices of a good restaurant in Frankfurt and the price/performance ratio is right! Thanks for a nice evening! Nice location with outdoor area. Supposedly the best semolina sauce without eggs... Why without... I have no idea. Eating as a schnitzel with semolina sauce is okay. Äppler good and tasty. That’s enough, isn’t it 😉

Direkt am R3 ein super gutes Restaurant am Main. Auch gut mit der Straßenbahn 11 (ab bis Frankfurt Höchst ) Endstation in Fechenheim. Speisekarte top. Wir waren auch vom Kuchen begeistert. Alles selbst hergestellt.

The location of the restaurant is great, right on the Main, very quiet and perfect for events such as funerals or weddings. Eigentlich die Adresse, wenn man in Fechenheim-Süd Schnitzel essen will :-) Die nächste "gute" Gaststätte ist an der Mainkur und damit nicht mehr in "-Süd". Es hat noch ein Laden aufgemacht am alten Standort, aber dort kostet das Schnitzel fast 10 Euro mehr. Generell kein einfaches Viertel, aber mangels Konkurrenz wird sich der Laden halten. Ansonsten gibt es nur Dönerläden, 2 Pizzerias und ein Pizza-Lieferdienst und ein Asiate, zu dem ich nicht mehr gehe, nachdem ich dort ein Mal gegessen habe. Die Qualität im Bootshaus ist in Ordnung und die Preise noch im oberen Mittelfeld für die "Bewohner des Viertels". Das wird auch der Knackpunkt bleiben. Will man nur die "deutsche Kundschaft" bedienen, in dem man das Niveau hochhält (+Preissteigerungen), oder sich eher mit den Preisen für ein Schnitzel um die 10-15 Euro halten und so der Kaufkraft angemessen zu sein? (Arbeitslosenzahlen, Immobilien-Index.. kein wohlhabendes Viertel! Wir sind hier quasi in OF...) Die Lage ist auch ziemlich versteckt. Ich würde dem Eigentümer raten, den Ball eher flach zu halten (kleines Team) und nicht über teure Preise zu geh, sondern langfristig auch den finanziell-schwächeren Bewohnern ein Angebot zu bieten, damit auch Rentner, Arbeitslose, usw., sich hier 1x Woche was zu Essen bestellen. Um die 10 Euro oder gar günstiger für ein Schnitzel wäre ein Win-Win für alle.

Tolles kleines Lokal, sehr nettes Team, das Essen war "frankfurterisch", Schnitzel mit Grie Soß, Handkäs etc. Aber auch ein Burger und Spareribs finden sich auf der Karte. Wer bei gutem Wetter draußen sitzen will sollte unbedingt reservieren. Preise sind moderat, insgesamt von mir eine klare Empfehlung. Corona Update 😉: das Bootshaus hat endlich wieder auf. Momentan sehr ausgelastet, ohne Reservierung geht's fast garnicht. Wir waren heute da, eine Bedienung fehlte und deshalb dauerte alles sehr lang. Aber letztlich hat alles geklappt und die Bedienung war zwar gestresst aber sehr freundlich. Essen war wie immer sehr gut. Klare Empfehlung. Und noch ein Update: Wir waren heute,9.9.23, mal wieder da. Wegen des schönen Wetters war es proppenvoll, ohne Reservierung keine Chance. Wartezeiten waren entsprechend lang, das wurde aber mit viel Charme der Bedienung wettgemacht. Essrn wie immer sehr lecker, immer wieder empfehlenswert.

Wir haben wie im Urlaub gesessen, das Essen schmeckte hervorragend und wir wurden so ganz besonders freundlich behandelt - wir können es von Herzen empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Hsven dort Geburtstag gefeiert. Schöner Tisch im Freien. Essen war toll.Ein Gast ist mit Gehhilfen unterwegs konnte alles gut laufen. War ein toller Nachmittag und Abend. Sehr nette Bedienung. Immer wieder gerne.

30.06.23 Etwas versteckt liegt die Lokalität „Fechemer Bootshaus“, nahe des Mains in Frankfurt Fechenheim. Habe 35 €+ Trinkgeld dort gelassen für zwei Jever Bier, ein Aperol Spritz (mit Orange, wie es sich gehört), ein sehr leckeres Schnitzel mit Rahm Pilzsoße und Bratkartoffeln und zum Abschluss ein Mispelsche. Damit war ich sehr zufrieden. Die beiden Bedienungen waren beide sehr nett, habe einen großen Tisch ganz für mich alleine zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen, obwohl die Gaststätte recht voll war. Besonders erwähnenswert war das Schnitzel Wiener Art, ganz dünn und fein und zart mit einer Panade, die sich vom Schnitzel leicht ab heben ließ, so wie’s beim echten Wienerschnitzel sein muss. Dazu gab es leckere selbst gemachte frische Bratkartoffeln und eine sehr gut schmeckende Pilzrahmsoße. Das einzigste, was mich überlegen ließ, über vier Sterne nachzudenken, war, dass es zwei meiner gewählten Gerichte von der Karte nicht mehr gab. Und auch meine gewählte Vorspeisensuppe war nicht mehr „lieferbar“. Welches ich erst nach 15 Minuten, nach Rückmeldung von der Küche, erfahren habe. Aber letztendlich zeugt auch das von Qualität, Man kann halt nicht immer alles in bester Qualität da haben. Ich würde der Küche empfehlen ein Tages/Wochen Menü anzubieten. Unterm Strich, 5 Sterne, empfehlenswert! 😊

Ein kleines Juwel mit Terrasse direkt am Main. Super lieber Service und feines Schnitzel mit Spargel oder Grie Soß! Dazu einen Aperol Spitz und die Sonne lacht. Toll auch die Ruderer zu beobachten, wenn Sie die Boote rein und raus bringen.

Der erste Eindruck war vielversprechend. Leider blieb es nicht dabei. Die Bedienung war sehr nett aber das hilft nicht, wenn die Pommes und Bratkartoffeln kalt am Tisch serviert werden. Mayonnaise wird extra berechnet, wurde beim Servieren vergessen und kam dann 20 Minuten später als das Essen schon gegessen war. Die grüne Soße schmeckte überhaupt nicht nach grüner Soße, sondern nach Banane (keine Ahnung was da schief gelaufen ist) und das war sehr enttäuschend für den Preis. Die Zeit zwischen Bestellen und Servieren war auch etwas zu lang. Schnitzel war gut, Burger auch.

Ich war mit meinen Eltern und meinem Hund dort. Das Essen war lecker und der Service wirklich super freundlich! Sogar der Chef kam aus der Küche, um dem Hund einen Napf mit was zu essen zu bringen. Sowas erlebt man wirklich selten. Tolle Location!
